Leo looked like a Latino Santa's elf, with curly black hair, pointy ears, a cheerful, babyish face, and a mischievous smile that told you right away this guy should not be trusted around matches or sharp objects. His long, nimble fingers wouldn't stop moving—drumming on the seat, sweeping his hair behind his ears, fiddling with the buttons of his army fatigue jacket. Either the kid was naturally hyper or he was hopped up on enough sugar and caffeine to give a heart attack to a water buffalo. "Anyway," Leo said, "I hope you've got your worksheet, 'cause I used mine for spit wads days ago. Why are you looking at me like that? Somebody draw on my face again?"

Thomas found himself running his hands through Alastair’s hair, warmed by the beating midday sun, and let himself be pulled closer and closer, until there was no closer to go, before finally breaking the kiss.
“You were right,” Thomas pulled back just enough to speak, still so close he could see his own adoring gaze reflected in Alastair’s keen eyes “The limes are good.”
“Yes. Excellent. Just as I said they would be.” Alastair replied very matter of factly, as if they weren't hidden behind a citrus tree, tangled so closely in each others arms you would struggle to tell where each one ends “Kiss me again.”

#watched all of the recent Sam Lake interview where he talks about how Melanie helped form her character! and that whole process#it was great to hear about#hope there’s a whole ‘making of’ for this like Control had#it’s probably partially due to there being more behind the scenes for every live action segment#but still#whether it’s the DLC or future Alan Wake / Control games#it’d be great to have more live action with her! I’m obsessed with how the dark place incorporates different mediums#and getting to see FBI casey and saga together at the end <3#they both looked so good#this is going further and further into an unrelated tangent#But. I would Hate a tv show adaption of this game but I would love more live action like that in the game itself#such an incredible blend of mediums#and tbh it works with the story itself. whoever directed/edited/etc. the live action scenes#deserves sm love for how beautiful it turned out

I have written for the occasion, yet again ill-advisedly. For being lovely & being my friend, you get the *checks notes* angst you pitched to me. There is fluff there though, if you make it to the end. (It's like a reward.)
So it takes Andrés a month before he cracks, all because it becomes tiresome, in the end. To tell Martín a story, and repeat it, and repeat it, and repeat it. To watch their plan turn from a near-complete masterpiece to a work still in progress, to witness their greatest discoveries become undone.

take a shot every time there’s a close-up pan of austin butler’s crotch
#i actually liked it a lot more than i thought i would#and also disliked it in ways i didn’t think i would#it’s definitely a baz luhrmann film#the dizzying editing & bright colors & use of music (which obvs there’d be a lot of bc it’s an elvis biopic but like. there’s a specific way#he uses it that feels v distinctive tho i can’t define what it is#and also the length time. 2.40. that’s very luhrmann#but the acting was so incredible#the kind of acting that makes you forget that’s what it is#butler was just. really really good in his performance#and so was the rest of the cast#it did follow the general beats of most biopics with the whole ‘underdog’ angle in the beginning to quick fame to a blowout to a comeback#and then ending with the death#but ooh boy i forgot how much i hate characters like the colonel#i mean they’re great!!! fantastic for plot and v interesting characters to dive into#but they’re also the worst and stress me out so much even through the medium of film#they’re the kind of terrible that actually makes me angry#as opposed to the kind of terrible that makes me wanna learn more ab how they tick#anyways#might actually watch again#just at home with the ability to mute the parts that hit a little too hard

#starrtalks#its wild to me cause#minimus doesnt have any playlists#which is a crime!#cause people tend to group ultra magnus and him as one person#and im not saying thats bad#but i always thought minimus' had issuses with whats the word?#drawing the line between himself and ultra magnus?#obviously a lot of his habits come out when hes mags but he seems to also have an idea of who magnus is#and i always thought that was an interesting part of his character#also his relationship with his brother can be explored more#anyway im making edits and picking and choosing songs#also it blows my mind that theres a dominus playlist but not a minimus one#like the irony is incredible#making playlists is hard cause i feel like im misinterpreting him
