The First Wave
I close my eyes and dream of a place
The island on the other side of the calamitous ocean
My raft held together with scions
Will it fall apart at the hit of its first wave in my indevotion?
I close my eyes and dream of a face
One that must lend me sails to set
Instead it hammers on the cracks
Will it heave me back from the first wave with the remorse I beget?
I close my eyes and dream of a heart
The antidote to my exhaustion and anguish
But the heart is broken and cuts cracks into mine
I try to make it to the first wave sans it before I perish

on attachment.
so after an entire novel, I suddenly came to the appropriate term I should have used for "attachments" is, 執著.
I've been thinking since Ch 37, when Desh said "no attachments" is impossible. His concern for Vos is reasonable, in the scenario, he is very in control of himself despite his "attachment" as well. So why did the Jedi warn against it?
(No attachment doesn’t mean indevotion, it means when the time comes, you will do what needs to be done. You will not let your personal connection come before the greater good. In Desh’s case, it means he needs to be ready to execute his friend if he continues to be a threat to the galaxy. The same principle drives Vos’s decision in the same chapter, he believes he is ‘letting go’/sacrificing personal connections to unravel the greater threat to the galaxy. Yet, it cannot be denied there is a selfish gain for him in the process - and that has became obsessed with power despite good intentions. Oh, Book!Vos is absolutely analogous to Anakin in ROTS.)
Then I realize the term I've been using for "attachment" is wrong. It shouldn't be the literal, physical “attached things” 牽掛, but 執著 — an overdose of attachment, more accurately, an insistence that one's view is the only correct one, i.e. selfishness. This is how Vos let himself fall. He wanted to protect the galaxy — his "attachment" ("compassion for all lives") is what drives him, but choosing the extremes? It's what his tunnel vision led to.
Lexcially, 牽掛 and 執著 are both Buddist terms, but the former is more tangible and neutral while the latter conceptual and negative. Both were popularized enough to not exactly stay in the highest hierarchy of jargon. The difference is, 執著 is something we are warned to avoid since we’re very little. We shouldn’t dwell on the past, but should let things run their course. Meanwhile, 了無牽掛 (lack of attachments) has an ethereal intonation, suggesting the commoner forego ALL connections, which most non-monk people reflexively reject of its impracticallity, thus estranging the teaching, and the preachers.
Curious enough, in my jumbled understanding of wikipeidia Buddhism, fixation comes from love. well in hindsight that sounds perfectly intuitive, but don’t I have a light bulb moment.

3H HEADCANON: Diarmuid & the Church
The Church of Seiros is an important entity within Fodlan, and its teachings are taken to heart by many of the people across Fodlan's three nations. However, no where is devotion to the Church's teachings more intense than the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus, who owes its founding to the Church thanks to their mediation during the War of the Eagle and Lion. In Faerghus, the royal family, nobles, knights, and commoners alike are-- for the most part-- steadfast in their support of the Church and it's teachings, with it’s doctrine going hand in hand with their daily lives. Still, not everyone within Faerghus holds that great devotion to the Church and it's teachings, and Diarmuid is one of those people, being part of a small percentage of Faerghus' denizens that have a mostly indifferent view of the Church and everything pertaining to it.
Being from a noble family in Faerghus, and being a knight at that, Diarmuid's indevotion to Church doctrine is highly unusual, and is something he has at times been looked down upon for by other knights and nobles belonging to the Kingdom. If not for Rufus' intercession, Diarmuid's indifference for Church doctrine might have actually stopped him from being officially knighted.
Diarmuid is mostly indifferent to the Church though, not hostile. Diarmuid is more than willing to take part in Church services and celebrations if only for the fact that they can be joyous gatherings and/or be relaxing to some extent (you will sometimes find him partaking in choir or meditating near statues of the saints), he is also not above helping the Church carry out missions either if he’s requested to, he just doesn't believe in the teachings of the Church itself. Diarmuid can admit that the Church has some good qualities, and that it does instill some good virtues and morals within the hearts of its followers (virtues and morals that he might embody himself), but religion in general just doesn’t chime with him on a personal level, it never has and it likely never will. The only things Diarmuid is truly devoted to are upholding his personal code, serving and protecting his lord, and if he should have them, protecting his friends. In effect, the Church as an institution and its teachings are of little consequence to Diarmuid.
HOWEVER, if Diarmuid was made privy to the true, problematic effects the Church had upon society, he would hold a more oppositional view of it...

How to get your book Reviewed
Whether you have published or traditional self publishing your book to review is relatively inexpensive and a good way to advertise. How to get an auditor review could take a few reviewers work.Research research on people and the places you want your book review. You want to ensure that criticism is interested in your type of book. It is also a good idea to check some of the comments of others in your genre. They can accept all kinds, but not much taste to a certain style which can lead to someone who is already in a mindset of not liking your book even before reading the first page. Show you're worth it reviewers receive thousands of pounds every week who want to become under review. Show the examiner that your book is useful to consider including the comments of other reviewers. He can change his mind once they see others have taken the time to review your work. If you have a copy of your book cooking, be sure to alert the examiner of any errors. They can not realize if you do not warn them and it could end up bad mouthing of your work. Time Do not call, write or e-mail the day your package arrives book. Having an author on the case could turn against commentators bad word of mouth about you. Not to mention a bad mood going into the review of your book or no book review at all. You can also include a stamped postcard that has options that the examiner can check if they are going to review your book and if so, how soon if they provide. Some commentators may complete and send these stars, others may refuse. A Please do not forget to politely thank the reviewer for taking the time to review your book. It's always nice to know that their time was appreciated. You might have to google you if your book review has been posted since sometimes the reviewers did not have time to inform you that your notice was mailed. Do not Give Up. If an examiner will not review your work, keep trying until you find someone who does.

Second Grade Lesson Project Simple Machines
Our school has as its simple machines curriculum second grade. There are plenty of books to primary simple machines. You could start with Simple Machines by Deborah Hodge. Read about a different team every day for a week or more until the students have an idea of what a simple machine does. That is to brainstorm ideas easier. Then work in the forum about different machines and how to make our life easier. Have students draw pictures of the best machines that help. There is also a program that has a lesson www.brainpop.com impressive in simple machines. There are tutorials and games and all sorts of things to teach students in a fun way. After few weeks to help students become familiar with the topic, send a note home to parents asking recycled "stuff" for classroom use. Explain that you are going to an amusement park containing children machines.Have simple design and draw a sample of their rides and have them write an article describing how it works. Can work together or decide to endorse all the materials individually. After arrived from his home, they can start collecting the parts they need to make your trip. Some things you can choose are rolls of paper towels, wool, egg cartons or Styrofoam containers. We had some great material from Michaels craft store. We had people some foam to fit in his walks and flowers and cars to decorate the park. After walks over, give them a name and a display in the library for one week to the other classes can enjoy them too.Now bring some newspapers and teach students about logos and publicity stunts. After a couple of days to go on these ads on your time so they can design their posters to the rides. Remind them to use tricks to get people to come to their rides. Some examples are 5 tickets for $ 1 or Child Free By going with an adult. Can reach some very interesting ideas.NOW children fill out an evaluation of saying the name of your trip, what kind of simple machine or machines that are made and how they work. This will become a class presentation. Then the last thing to do is finish the second page of the evaluation that tells you how to believe he did with his project. It is really a fun way for students to learn about simple machines and what they do.

Went to see Destine yesterday. I freaking love them.
I also loved the support. Indevotion and Mary Has A Gun were awesome, but I prefer Mary Has A Gun. Probably because Indevotion has a female singer and I don't like bands with female singers. I also like Mary Has A Gun more because they are french and french is sexy. Shame I didn't make pictures of Mary Has A Gun and Indevotion, but I had to save the battery of my camera for Destine. Can't wait to see Destine again. (:

Leende. :)
1.21.12
We didn't fail. We were rejected. So, we must not blame ourselves or whatever. They've lost students with undeniable passions for what they do, and what they want to become.
However, honestly, these things won't affect our dreams. It's just that, we focus on them so much that we are stuck and unable to move forward.
As I've said, even if it left a part of us terribly broken, God will still put us in a better place. And wherever it is, all we need to do is be our best self and never let anyone take it away from us.
But here we are, we’re not afraid!
Still they’re taking everything, it’s all or nothing
They tried to take it all, they tried to get in my head
But we won’t go, we won’t go until it’s over
Monsters in my head, they’re like the living-dead
Now we won’t go, we won’t go until it’s over
We’re not gonna give up, we won’t ever stop
We’re not gonna give up, no
Ha tro på Gud.
Tack.
Adjö.
