laughter bubbled up in her throat as she felt the cold splash from his balloon. she'd dragged him off for some well needed alone time. maybe she was just being selfish, the high of singing all on her own with the boy who forced those words from her pen. seeing his glittering eyes beneath his wet strands looking up at her the same way they always did.

"how dare you!" she teased, running up behind him and practically tackling him over, the wet fabric of both of their clothes freezing between their warm bodies but all umeko could do is throw her head back in joy. their usual moments together were quieter even though he was usually running around behind her as she searched from her next adventure. but this time they hid away, stealing kisses and touching each others skin in between the various sprays of balloons and water guns. she pretended to be sweet, placing her palms on the exposed parts of his chest to have him trust her before she pulled away and sprayed him execution style with the water gun, leaving a drenched patch in the back of his dark hair. "sucker."

EVENT 07 ;; INFINITE WATERBOMB

as we transition into a new season, the executives of infinite entertainment announces their very own waterbomb event to bid farewell to summer ! the festival allows us all to cool off from the remaining days of the warm temperatures before autumn takes over, thanks to water cannons, ready to splash anyone and everyone so be sure to dress for the occasion. the musical lineup has a wide array of musical artists, including some of our very own infinite idols. but regardless of who’s performing and who isn’t, everyone is invited so get ready for a day of music, friends, & overall good vibes ! there will also be plenty of other water-based activities, like swimming in the refreshing pool or exciting water gun fights, as well as the finest food trucks available; catered to your tastes & to aid in your fun day off work. be sure to catch the firework show at the end of the night too !

     “ you ever done this before ? ” haneul spoke as he walked alongside minseok, clapping a hand on the younger’s shoulder as they headed for the range. archery was a deceptively dangerous sport. it just seemed like it was chucking sticks at targets, but people often times underestimated how many injuries could happen if it wasn’t done properly. muscles could be strained if the bow was held the wrong way. the string could cut into the skin due to the strong recoil. and of course, the most obvious — the arrows were sharp as fuck and could cause a puncture even without much pressure. he would never let a single bad thing happen to his brother for as long as he lived, so these were all things han kept in mind as they began to set up. a part of him was surprised seok’s team even agreed to let him do the activity but another part of him highly doubted that the soloist even told them to begin with. that was fine; he could keep the secret. the bodyguard would always keep an eye out for him, anyways. “ it’s okay if you haven’t. i’m just trying to gauge if we use the practice bow and arrows, or real ones. ”

a huge smile overtook jinnie's features as she reached out for the basket of fries, bowing her hand in thanks at the cashier working the food truck. her morning had been filled with soaked fun, that much was evident by the slicked back hair and how her clothes now clung to her. she was having the time of her life, getting to be silly with her friends. but now, it was time for a small reprieve. she knew how whiny she got on an empty stomach so she'd pleaded with her manager to let her go survey all the food options the grounds had to offer. there shouldn't be too much of a surprise that the maknae settled on fries. with a happy skip, she popped one into her mouth, humming in delight as she maneuvered through the crowd of people. it was perfectly crispy and salty, and she was in heaven. her eyes lit up when she spotted a familiar face, holding the basket up to them. " this is sooo good. try one ! "

this wasn't silver's idea of a fun day. it wasn't like she disliked water, but she definitely could think of better things to do than being drenched all day. thankfully for the flora leader, the expression on her face had so far deterred anyone from trying. all it took was one withering glare at anyone with some sort of water-filled device, and they knew not to test the woman who was nothing more than a ticking time bomb. she relished in the power, somehow remaining dry and unbothered for the first few hours of the event. however, that luck soon ran out. as she walked through the festivities, her eyes remained trailed on her phone as she shot off a quick text to her father. just as she slipped it back into her waterproof bag, the dancer suddenly felt the unpleasant impact of a filled balloon colliding with her shoulder, showering her face and body with water. terrifyingly slow, silver lifted her head to find the culprit, fire in her eyes. " who the fuck did that ? "

Jooha wasn't the best in crowded spaces. He'd had half a mind to not come at all but since it's his favorite holiday he figured a little awkward conversation would be fine for just one night. That and Danbi didn't give him much of a decision on coming. She'd shown up with a costume in hand and it was too late to pretend he was sick. He was just happy she hadnt brought anything inflatable where people would be hitting him all night or getting made he was taking up too much space. And without admitting it aloud, he found the tricycle to be quite amusing. He rode it around for a while until he found the orange haired fairy. He got close and reached up to gently tug on one of her wings. "Wanna play a game?" He lowers his voice to disguise his voice. He was sure she wouldn't be able to guess who was under the mask.

dawn loved parties. the pulsing beat of the music along with the colorful lights, simultaneously bright and dim, always reminded him of being on stage. there was the adrenaline and the sweat and the feeling of being lost in the music, but there was also being just another face in the crowd. so many bodies moving together, but instead of them all looking at him, no one was. parties were everything he loved without the crushing spotlight.

he was leaned against the bar, sipping his third rum and coke of the night after leaving two of his members on the dance floor. he could see another one of his members not so subtly chatting up one of the new back up dancers and and the last two sat at a table across the room talking. he tried to find his sister in the crowd, but failed, unable to identify her at any of the tables or the mob of people on the dance floor. she was surely having fun somewhere in here.

he sighed into his cup, considering his next move. back to the dance floor, moving to the music and bumping bodies with everyone around him? stay at the bar, maybe grab another drink and find someone to chat with? maybe he could join his members or some other friends at one of the tables. he fiddled with the zipper on his green jumpsuit as he mulled it over, when a familiar face approaching the bar next to him decided for him.

    considering how competitive both haneul and seonhwa were, it shouldn’t have come to much of a surprise that they decided to do the scavenger hunt. the team who solved all the clues the quickest would get a prize and while he doubted infinite would actually have something they would want, the mere satisfaction of beating everyone else would be more than enough for him. in one hand, his tattooed hand clasped his girlfriend’s, keeping her close as they walked down one of the camp trails; in the other, he held the paper full of instructions and clues. “ we have to collect all the items on this list. apparently, some of the clues lead us to places where the items will be waiting. ” he explained, glancing over at his partner in crime. it honestly sounded like fun. he was an expert camper, but he usually did adrenaline-based activities. nothing like this. “ first one’s a location: i’m full of water where winged friends take a sip, or if they prefer a proper splash and sip. . . ” the bodyguard handed the paper over, so she could read the clue as well. his lips pursed in contemplation. “ well, winged friends are obviously birds. ”
