17 - forest

Adolin holds her hand causally while saying something to Kaladin and looking into the direction they are heading. Kal is in uniform, carrying a second harpoon, and bag strapped over one shoulder and across his chest. Adolin wears fashionably adapted lighteyes clothes and a rucksack on his bag. Both men sport proper beginnings to a beard.

Cosmere Inktober Day 7 "Passport" Another Cosmere-themed Inktober entry! I'm not sure if it's obvious but I've drawn Shallan holding up a passport while sporting modern travel wear. Can you spot Pattern? And yes I know, the lettering on the passport I totally messed up lol. Also, fun fact, the symbol on the passport, which-I-totally-did-not-mess-up-as-well, is of Vedenar-- capital to Jah Keved. This one's a bit of late upload! Likes and reblogs are appreciated!

Sometimes, I get lost in the thought that I died. Never how, or why, I just am. And I'll lay very still, as it plays out. Who misses me, who gets my toys, how quickly they all move on. Sometimes I replay it. Over and over until I make myself cry. It's cathartic, I tell myself, when it's all over. When I'm not dead, but alive, and achy on the hardwood floor.

One of The Old Guard for today from the #parallelscomicproject ! Farsight is a hero from the 1990s who was pretty popular back in the day, but has since hung up his hero mantle to get into more legitimate work: the police chief of Westgate City. He’s not so sure about the new generation of heroes, but he won’t go out and arrest them for doing good, as long as they don’t interfere with police work. Fun fact: Farsight’s daughter and Ben are on the same vigilante team ✌️

I'm not as fond of this one, but the eyes do remind me of those gummy eyes you'd get around Halloween. I kinda crave eating one rn actually

Ok I know it’s like the 3rd of November but I wanted to catch up on some October prompts bc I didn’t have the time to do them during the actual month

Splatober Day 19: “What’s this?! Swapped species!”

As for the designs themselves:

tbh Hoover’s inkling design kinda came to me really quickly so I didn’t trace as much trouble with it. Ig it also helps that younger inklings are a lot simpler than their older more humanoid form lol.

Toothpaste’s on the other hand kinda took me a bit. I had a rough idea of what I wanted but the devil was in the details.

The hair/fin/mohawk is supposed to look like her normal bangs but rotated. I also really like keeping a pattern of 2 with her, so most design details usually come in pairs.

Overall I hope both designs made it obvious who they’re the swapped versions of, and I might do more with these designs in the future!
