Summary:

That until one day the angel confronted him and "advised" him to get a hobby apart from gardening, since he himself now wrote books and painted oils, apart from his good miraculous deeds.

Crowley, of course, took the angel’s advice as a challenge. Only 2 nights later, he celebrate the innauguration of "The Eden’s Snake", his own Strip Club, where he could tempt lust and pleasure in the weak human minds; and also, he had strong intentions of putting it to good personal use.

It was not more than 5 minutes since Aziraphale set foot in the establishment, until he was lying in a comfortable chair, with the demon in his lap

Prayer beads featuring my signature Gorgoneion protection talisman cast in bronze and strung on bronze wire with jet and tiger iron beadsbeads and bronze rattlesnake vertebrae and a bronze sword. These prayer beads were made in trance according to the whims of Spirit and will never be exactly reproduced.

The image of a Gorgon's face, as seen on the front of the talisman, was a common protection symbol throughout ancient Greece and the Hellenistic world. The back of the talisman bears the names of the three attested Gorgons - Medusa, Sthenno, and Euryale - in Greek. This particular image was done in the Attic style, based particularly the Gorgon images found painted in kylix cups from the 4th Century BCE.

sam wishes he didn’t have to leave so quickly. but he needs to get to california, needs to see will bailey and meet the team that’s going to be working his campaign for the special election.

he wishes he didn’t have to leave, wishes he could stay in dc, with his work, with toby to help with the innaugural address, with josh.

goodness, he wants to stay with josh.

josh, who is still up and will be up for days on end watching the rest of the results come in, working on the next iteration of the white house and whatever else comes down the pipe.

sam checks his phone again, sees the time and calculates the time difference before hitting the speed dial for josh’s cell.

“yeah?”

“it’s me again.”

“sam?” josh sounds confused, and definitely sleepy, and sam can just picture how his hair is a fluffy cloud around his head and his shirt is all rumpled from how long he’s been wearing it. “you called an hour ago, everything ok?”

“yeah, everything’s great. I’m getting the team together here, meeting them soon. I just…wanted to check in on you.” wanted to try and talk about how I kissed you last night, he thinks. but he can’t say it.

it had been a spur of the moment decision. made in the delirious haze of winning the presidential election and the looming reality that sam was going to be running in a special election. in california.

sam’s not saying he regrets it. not by a longshot. but it was definitely not a thought out kiss and he may or may not have left right after it happened.

“things are still good here sam, everything’s standing and we’re getting through the day just fine, you focus on your race.”

“josh, I will. I just, wanted to make sure you’re good. and I’ll be back in dc soon, gotta couple things to take care of before I start really campaigning out here.”

“yeah, yeah,” josh says, and sam can picture him walking around his office, reading memos and putting things on different stacks. “just…let me know when you’re back. we should probably grab a drink. talk some.”

“yeah,” sam says, “we’ll talk. I uh-”

“go, don’t call for a few hours. focus on your campaign out there, we’ll hold down the fort here.”

“alright josh, I’ll see you soon.”
