I feel your pain on just making progress. Perhaps it will make you feel better to know that I am also just throwing words into a document and seeing what sticks?

I keep promising to start posting The Eternal Life of Baz Pitch, but the further I get the more I realize that I may need to finish at least a rough draft of every chapter before I can post the first chapter. Why?

I am still actively avoiding the slow burn. Evidence below:

2. The closer I get to writing the climax of this story, the more I realize it's going to be harder to land this plane than I thought. I'm still on track, but when your premise involves word games, curses, and a non-chron plot, you gotta make sure the math is mathin' - know what I mean?

3. This is really just an extension of the above, but I already had to go in and significantly revise two chapters by chopping up later chapters for parts. Both revisions were necessary and absolutely improved the flow of the story, but it does mean I can expect it to keep happening.

I just started Spring Break today (woohoo!), so here's hoping I can exorcise myself of this fic with a finished first draft before break is over. The pile of grading on my desk that I've ignored while cranking out words is not getting any smaller!

Dndads episode 34 spoilers ahead!!!!

Well that was episode. Absolutly hilarious, Tori was great, Hermie is a villain now and depressed (i feel like i got everything i wanted and it feels like a bit of a nightmare).

Normal talked about his issues, and kinda roasted everyone and oakworthy is not doing great (with them betraying each other, hermie not actually loving him and normal maybe liking hermie because hes giving him validatiotion).

We got Nick and space which like maybe well help the dads soon. We might be getting cheerful Scary (its gonna be fun with all the depressed stuff Normal and Hermie are going thru).

It was awesome oh and noq the teens are all married.

I'm about 4 days away from submitting my research paper and finishing my masters degree 😭

i officially applied to graduate and everything!this has been the hardest 3 yrs of my life and completing this paper has been the bane of existence. it's actually terrifying to think about life post degree (I'm on my 3rd degree and have been in uni over 10 years straight). I have faced some of my toughest challenges during the course of this degree and have learnt lessons that can only be learned in hindsight. the mental health journey has been rough but really that's a whole other post. as I said, my toughest challenges.

I actually can't picture life outside of school but the thought of not having the 24/7 existential dread of homework has been keeping me going

when I finally submit I'm either going to hermit for at least 2 months or going straight to the club 💜
