Miks võibolla IT valdkond on kõige rohkem selle mõistega kokkupuutuv - esiteks on IT juba niivõrd igasse eluvaldkonda puutuv ning teiseks on ju ajalooliselt arvutitega seonduv kuidagi sümbolina tugevalt häkkerikultuuriga seotud.
Häkkerluse loogika sobib ka suurepäraselt millenialite põlvkonnale - nüri töö eitus, vaheldus, vabadus jne on just see mida need tööjõuturule saabuvad noored otsivad.

I'm an introvert... I love being by myself, love being outdoors, love taking a long walk with my dogs and looking at the trees, flowers, the sky.

the social monopoly that extroversion has in modern society bothers me so much
#introvertsion#honestly i get so frustrated#with this idea that you're not okay if you want to be alone#that being alone equals loneliness when it really doesn't#that staying quiet means you have nothing to say or contribute#that meekness is somehow a weakness#that to 'succeed' you must be outgoing and make a good first impression#that personality is more important than character#that being loud is better than being right#that pushing yourself to the front - not caring about who you're stepping on - is the right thing to do#that you can't do well in life otherwise#that wishing to be alone is selfish#that the key is to talk louder than everyone else instead of shutting up to listen to what others have to say#that your character can be determined by how often you go to bars#that you become undesirable#abnormal#when you don't regularly engage in social activities#i'm just sick of it

I need to do my own research for one of my classes.
I have a variety of topics in my head that I would love to do but they're all out of reach and I don't have the proper resources to do so. All I have to work with is the student and staff population here at USFSP and, ...well that's about it. I wanted to do something with military and mental health because throughout all of the psych classes I've taken, that topic was one that I could speak endlessly about. Realizing I don't have all I need to do it on that, I figure I could do it on the Introversion and Extroversion continuum I thought about the other day while talking to a friend. But what to do with that? There's so much that can be done!!!! I need a topic and I need it fast.
I'm gonna go organize myself.

In & Out
They say introverts are inside their comfort zone... but aren’t extroverts also inside their own comfort zone? .. meaning that introverts need some time alone to recharge, they might not go to some social events because they find them exhausting, they might sometimes be less likely to try new things so we say that they are inside their “comfort zone” .While extroverts love to always be surrounded by people and are more likely to try new things.. resisting new experiences might be hard for them, they might never want to stay alone because they find it uncomfortable .. so does that mean that they are also not willing to leave their “comfort zone”? I think that comfort zones differ from one person to another. They have a different meaning for each person. yet people define them in terms of introverted (love their comfort zone) extroverted (no comfort zone).
