Inu-Mothership Spotlight Saturday: Holiday Edition! Week 4: Gift Giving
Hi everyone! We here at @inu-mothership are back with another week of holiday-related fic recs! This week's theme is "Gift Giving," and we are so glad to be able to share this list with all of you 💝
This week, below the cut, we have a baker's dozen list of recs, all with the theme of gifts and gift giving. Fics are listed, as always, in alphabetical order, with ship, rating, and status (complete or ongoing) listed in the parentheses. We hope you enjoy and find some new favorites 🌟
4 Carats (SessKag; M; complete) by @sereia1313
Most misunderstandings come from a lack of communication, and this Christmas is no exception.
Chasing Cars (InuKag; T; complete) by @lavendertwilight89
Inuyasha meets Kagome in his freshman communications class and immediately tries to close him off only to be surprised when she doesn't quit. He ends up in a group with her and his other friends and ends up falling for her. When they draw names for secret santa at the end of the year, guess who he ends up with? Will he confess his feelings or continue down a path of loneliness?
Christmas Plushy (InuKag; T; complete) by @windkissedsakura
A Christmas at an idyllic cottage for our favorite couple. A small puppy plushy that surprises a former grumpy hanyou with its significance.
Everything But the Pear Tree (InuKag; E; complete) by @fandomobsessions016
After going through a rough break-up, Kagome decides she's going to pull herself out of her slump by diving head first into holiday preparations. With her friend Sango and the help of her new neighbor, Inuyasha, Kagome is reminded why the holidays are so special to her.
From the Heart - and the Wrapping Company (InuKogKag; NR; complete) by@clearwillow/BrigidtheFae (Ao3)
Christmas isn't going according to anyone's plans, except Koga's. Between the heat in the apartment making it feel like it's July and the endless boxes Inuyasha and Kagome keep finding, there has to be a good reason for the devious look in their boyfriend's eyes.
If You Dare (InuKag; Rated E; complete) by @fawn-eyed-girl
Inuyasha hates Christmas, and looks forward to spending it alone.
Kagome loves Christmas, and is devastated that she has to spend it alone.
She decides to leave a notebook in the stacks at a bookstore, in hopes of making a special connection. When Inuyasha finds it, does he dare take her challenge? And will she dare to accept his?
The Kissing Plant (InuKag; T; complete) by @heynikkiyousofine
Inuyasha finds this so called kissing plant and decides to use it to show Kagome how he feels.
Lucky (InuKag; G; complete) by @lavaffair/coccinelleroses (Ao3)
Inuyasha is on a last-minute mission to find Kagome a Christmas present on Christmas Eve! Luckily, he has the perfect little helper by his side to make sure Kagome gets everything she deserves this Christmas.
A Moment, Together (InuKag; G; complete) by @yukinon-writes
A moment between Kagome and Inuyasha the night before Christmas!
One Little Thing (InuKag; T; complete) by @smmahamazing
Inuyasha wants to propose to his long time girlfriend, Kagome, but can't come up with a good way to pop the question. That is, until he gets her as his Secret Santa.
A Secret Santa (NarSess; T; complete) by @roseheartwhitefox
Naraku loved his job working at Walmart.
He loved it because most of the time, people shopping at Walmart were miserable. They were tired, overworked, underpaid, and generally disgruntled human beings. Not much unlike himself.
It was a glorious job.
It brought Naraku great pleasure to watch the miserable customers plowing through the store at the hand of life’s struggles. That was the case at the store pretty much all the time, except for one time of year.
Christmas.
Skeins and Schemes (InuKag; G; complete) by @cannibalsforbreakfast/Laeoukka
Inuyasha didn’t understand why she was insisting she needed to go back to her time, because this time last year Kagome had said her school was on “ho-li-day” and that there were no classes. She’d tried to put Inuyasha off with excuses — she had a makeup exam, her school had changed its schedule — but she could tell he didn’t believe her.
Because how could she tell Inuyasha that she needed to go back to her time to make him a Christmas present?
Wrapped in Red (SessKag; M; complete) by @sereia1313
Christmas has always been a special time for Kagome, but after Rin invites Sesshomaru to join in the festivities, the holidays will never be the same.

It’s @inu-mothership BINGO night!!
Miroku/Inuyasha
Word count:100
Marriage was a lot harder than Miroku had been able to prepare for.
Marriage to INUYASHA…. That was another beast entirely.
Their bond was already unlikely enough, formed in the wake of the loss of Sango in marriage to a feudal Lord and Kagome to the tides of time travel, and Inuyasha seemed terrified of everything soft and affectionate after so many painful goodbyes.
But Miroku was THERE, right in front of him, trying so hard.
“You can leave if you want.” He said, and Miroku could hear his heartache.
“I meant it when I said for better or worse.”
Toga/Jaken
Word count: 100
Toga sighed and rubbed the dull pain throbbing between his eyebrows, keeping his eyes closed to try and ignore the bug eyed stare boring into the side of his head by his son’s green skinned lackey.
Jaken was certainly loyal and efficient, but he couldn’t be more annoying if Sesshomaru paid him to be.
Sometimes he wondered if he did just that.
He cut a glare sideways, returning the unblinking gaze of the yellow eyed pest watching him look over the client files Sesshomaru had sent over.
And then he noticed those eyes trailing lower.
“Are you checking me out?!”
Kagome/InuKimi
Word count: 100
Kagome delivered the plate, her hands shaking against a maelstrom of nervous butterflies.
The woman sitting in her section was just… SO beautiful.
Long silver hair, bright golden eyes, her professionalism had fled for safety in the face of the most beautiful creature Kagome had ever seen.
“Here’s your meal, ma’am. But be careful of the hot plate, oh and the chef added an extra side for ordering his favorite. And I can get you a refill if you need! And if it’s too bright I can open the umbrella. And-“
The beautiful woman chuckled.
“You ramble and it’s adorable.”
Ayame/Kikyo
Word count: 100
For Kikyo, love came strangely.
And it never looked the way she’d imagined as a little girl.
In those dreams, a man from the village would build her a house, give her children, and live the rest of his life at her side.
And then she’d given her heart to a Hanyo which had led to her demise.
Now he loved someone else.
But so did she.
Her fingers brushed through bright red hair, a fluffy, white furred tail wagging and thumping against the ground as her new love napped on her lap.
Apparently she had a thing for canines.
Sesshomaru/Koga
Word count: 100
Sesshomaru clenched his teeth together as he once more took apart the pieces he’d JUST put together and stared back down at the incomprehensible instructions.
The surrogate would give birth within the month, and no matter how hard this crib was trying to shatter his sanity, it had to be built.
Another failed attempt saw it reduced to a puddle of acidic goo courtesy of his claws.
“Well that’s not what the instructions say,” he heard Koga say from the doorway, and he closed his eyes to fight off the desire for homicide.
His baby needed both fathers, after all.

Once more, go to sea once more [Read it on A03]
Tumblr media
So another chapter for my huge Fleet Week tale, for @inu-mothership we would meet sirens with teeth so sharp that tore a sailor's heart, Florence Welch as death (You will see she/they, as they are my favourite to write) and of course a rocky start, in responding to Day 2 prompt: Meet-Ugly which is not my usual thing to do but I have fun writing Midoriko being so spunky and Kirinmaru just be a dumbass.
So enjoy this little tale, for now as the new updates I will do after Fleet week!

This year, Inuvember is getting a new twist!
@feudalconnection & @inu-mothership have partnered with @inuvember to bring you an all new fun-filled way to enjoy the Inuyasha fandom! This November, we will be hosting a modified Bingo to aid the creative process and give rise to new fanfiction, fanart and other creations to share with this wonderful community!
For November, each participant will receive a bingo card to complete. Participants can get additional bingo cards as they finish their current card. As works are completed, they can be submitted with the corresponding square.  After you have completed a “bingo”, you will have the option to either receive a new card, or continue playing on your current card. If you are able to complete an entire bingo card, you will receive major points!
Each square will focus on a prompt, and you are able to use the prompt however you wish in a work of fiction, art, or other mediums. Once you are able to create a traditional bingo (rows, diagonally, or four corners + center square), you can submit your bingo card for points!
You are able to use multiple squares in one work if you’re able to do it. There is a lot of freedom here to use which ships float your boat, and topics that you enjoy.
In addition, to add a little more fun to the mix, each week will have a designated topic. If you’re able to work-in the topic with your planned creation, you will receive bonus points for that piece!
Week 1: Rare Characters
The character must be a main character in the narrative to count for the bonus.
No bonus: Inuyasha, Kagome, Sesshomaru, Kikyou, Naraku, Kagura, Miroku, Sango, Shippo, Koga, Moroha
25% bonus: Jaken, InuKimi, Toga, Izayoi, Rin, Ayame, Shiori, Hojo, Bankotsu, Jakotsu, Kanna
50% bonus: Everyone else not mentioned.
Week 2: Rare Pairs
The characters must be main characters in the narrative to count for the bonus. Friendships/platonic ships are allowed, and pairs must follow the rules of FeudalConnection and Inu-Mothership.
No bonus: InuKag, SessKag, Sess & Rin, KogKag, InuKagMor
25% bonus: MirSan, SessKagu, TogIza, InuKik, KogAya, KagKik, InuKog
50% bonus: All other pairings not mentioned
Week 3: Black and White Week
Time to either make your characters suffer (Black) or make their teeth ache with fluffy sweetness (White). Whether you want to write about your favorite villain, enemies/rivalries, or just want to beat up on your favorite punching bag, pick your whump! Or if you enjoy the other end of the spectrum, feel free to indulge in your favorite romantic or platonic pairings in fluffy settings.
No bonus: Angst, Minor Character Death, Holding Hands, Sweet Compliments, Blushing
25% bonus: Enemies, Rivals, Major Character Death, Betrayal, Proposal, Snuggles & Huggles, Sensual Seduction
50% bonus: Dark Themes, Gore, Horror, Torture, Kisses (romantic or platonic), Meet Cute, Making Love
Week 4: Tropes
The tropes and AUs can come from here or here. Combinations and mix & match will earn you bonuses!
No bonus: One or two tropes/AUs used
25% bonus: Three tropes/AUs used
50% bonus: Four or more tropes/AUs used
You are not required to participate in the themes each week. These are just added challenges that will help participants obtain more points.
There will be a Leaderboard that you can view to see where you stand in regards to points. At the end of the month there will be prizes based on points as well as random selection.
Stay tuned for a Frequently Asked Questions post to better lay out the rules, requirements, and overall workings of this year’s Inuvember.
We all have potential to make beautiful things. So let’s start closing out the year with a bang!

Part One
Inuyasha refused to look at the email, the one with big, bold capital letters with the title of “Merry Christmas Friend!” from his pervy, lecherous and somehow married closest friend. Oh, hell no. It came through just this morning, before he even had time to finish his first cup of coffee and he promptly shut his browser, deciding he could go without checking his email all day. However, luck was not on his side and by lunch time, he was forced to look.

Will you be participating in any of the IY Fandom events this year? (Inu-Spiration, InuSecretSanta, Inuvember, Sugar and Spice Event, etc.)
Hello, anon! I realise you’ve sent this ask to multiple people, so in the interest of your interest check, I’ll answer your question. I tend to keep musings to hashtags, but as my closest friends here know, I’m an opinionated mouthpiece when given the opportunity. So, I’m going to be honest about my feelings here, since you asked in such good faith.
But for future reference – you don’t need to hide. I won’t bite unless asked. Note: These opinions are my own and not a direct reflection of how others may feel, or the coordinators of these events.
Inu-spiration: No. Mystery-bag art isn’t on my Christmas list, and the same goes for writing. When I want to collaborate, I have options, and those options come with people I adore and admire, and afford me the gift of knowledge. Not knowing who/what/when/where/why I’m being paired and the type of work I’ll create is not in my repertoire of a good time, and from personal experience, participants tend to be laden with stress up until the very last moment. In the interest of peace and tranquillity, it’s a no from me.
InuSecretSanta: My calendar quakes. In the interest of peace and time-keeping, it’s a no from me.
Inuvember Mothership (and somehow FC) Bingo: No. And because you forced me into having to read, re-read and make sense of something that doesn’t make sense, I returned the favour – this is going to be longwinded.
Incoherent: I have to read a lot to get to the meat of what this event entails. My brain is flighty, and I tend to skip ANs on a good day – so when I did just that, I was brought to percentages. So, I have to go back up to the top to understand why those are there. And when I read it all, it’s still not very clear what the aim is here – apart from, of course, competition, competition, competition.
Longwinded: Bingo. A game beloved by many, particularly OAPs and children. It usually comprises of a card and a time and place to meet. This event, so far, has come with 2 announcement posts, neither of which is a bingo card, and an edit (which I’ll get into) to the event itself. As per the previous incoherency issues, neither of these announcements have come from the Inuvember page, and have been spread between 2 other blogs. Having to jump through multiple hoops to find information is a PR nightmare, and I’ve already thrown my laptop out the window because I don’t know where to look. The OAPs and children weep, for the adults don't have the answers.
Exclusionary: This one is two-fold, so I’ve broken it down. -Themes: are, at best, exclusionary. Forcing people into rare characters and rare pairs has pushed the majority of the fandom out of participation within the first 2 weeks. On top of that, the original event comprised of an entire week of whump, which is baffling for so many reasons – so by week 3, there are half a dozen people left who might participate. By the time we reach week 4 – the only one that makes a lick of sense for a fandom-wide event – it’s Tropes, which, besties, no… Whump is a Trope. And as a final hoorah, the event has been amended before we’ve even seen a bingo card. If that isn’t fumbling the bag, I don’t know what is. At this point, we have 3 weeks until November, no Bingo card, and very little time to come up with a Hojo Whump story. – Competition: Ain’t my schtick. Leaderboards, as a concept, are not cute. Fandom is an escapist plain, and with the incredibly niche themes and modge-podging that has to be done to earn points/percentages/whatever, all but 2 people have “lost” their chance to place anywhere. To meet any requirements here, you’d have to give yourself over to the toxic productivity that only a handful of people thrive in. We already have a quarterly competition that happens too frequently for a small, dying fandom, so this portion of the event was unnecessary, ill-advised, and just plain whack.
Transparency/Prizes: There are prizes…apparently. There has been no mention of what they are and should have been announced from the word go. I’ve gleaned that this section of the event may have sprouted from Feudal Connection’s input, considering I've spotted they've answered a few concerns already. From personal experience, I have received 2/8 Winners banners promised from that specific event (which I do not feel to/shouldn’t have to chase, and no, I’m not a special case here), have found it to be nothing but an administrative nightmare from the ground up, and can't compute when suggestions for improvement are met with combative resistance to change. With all that being said, I am 1) not surprised this hasn’t been coordinated/planned properly yet and 2) not convinced that they will be worth the hassle of chasing up when/if these promises are met.
Convoluted: From my wading through multiple blogs and posts, I have concluded this is a Mothership event and bears no real affiliation with Inuvember, apart from appearing on a banner and in a tag. Three separate blogs/events conducting one’s brainchild is confusing at best, and I struggle to understand where FC or Inuvember come into this event other than being guilty by association.
TLDR: From my understanding, previous Inuvember events have been this: 30 days of themes for us to celebrate our love for Inuyasha as a fandom, in whatever way we see fit. This is 30 days of competition to see whose Franken-fic comes out on top. Fandom accolades have never been the aim of my game, so you’ll have to find this very, very particular bloodlust elsewhere. Verdict: In the interest of peace and sanity, it’s a no from me.
Sugar and Spice: Probably not, cause it’s too far in the future for me to say for certain what with having no concept of time. In the interest of refusing to believe 2023 is near, it’s a no from me.
Etc: Fandom is supposed to be about fun. And yes, some find competition and Being Number 1 fun. But I’m tired, I have a child to raise, and I just wanna write/draw my silly little grocery store daydreams and delight over them with my friends. I do not care who is the best. I do not care about stretching myself thin for things that do not bring me joy. And you won’t find any HoW tO WiN aT FaNdOm nonsense here. We have snacks – that’s about it.
Hope this helps! 🥰❤

Fawnie's Mothership Stories: A collection of short stories based on @inu-mothership Bingo nights
Hi everyone! So this is a...slightly different kind of post from me. I'm very excited to share these little stories with you. I wrote them as part of our Bingo nights over on the @inu-mothership Discord server, and they're pretty different from most things I've done before.
These stories hit a pretty wide variety of ships (both romantic and platonic) and ratings. I'm going to list them here for you (along with setting; prompts are in the chapter summaries in the fic). They were really fun to write, though, and so I hope you enjoy!
Inuyasha & InuKimi: rated T (modern AU) Kikyō/InuKimi: rated E (modern AU) Inuyasha & Sesshōmaru: rated G (modern AU) Kōga/Naraku: rated E (modern AU) Kikyō/Ayame: rated G (canon-divergentish?)

The cryptocurrency market can be a serious business, but there’s also a lighter side fueled by internet humor and virality. Enter meme coins – cryptocurrencies inspired by internet memes and online jokes. While they may lack the perceived utility of other crypto projects, meme coins can experience explosive growth thanks to community hype and social media trends. Let’s take a deep dive into 12 of the most popular meme coins, exploring their origins, functionalities, and potential:
<blockquote class=”twitter-tweet”><p lang=”en” dir=”ltr”>Which one will you Buy during this dip?<a href=”https://twitter.com/search?q=%24DOGE&src=ctag&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw”>$DOGE</a><a href=”https://twitter.com/search?q=%24FLOKI&src=ctag&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw”>$FLOKI</a><a href=”https://twitter.com/search?q=%24SLERF&src=ctag&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw”>$SLERF</a><a href=”https://twitter.com/search?q=%24DUKO&src=ctag&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw”>$DUKO</a><a href=”https://twitter.com/search?q=%24MFER&src=ctag&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw”>$MFER</a><a href=”https://twitter.com/search?q=%24PENG&src=ctag&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw”>$PENG</a><a href=”https://twitter.com/search?q=%24BOME&src=ctag&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw”>$BOME</a><a href=”https://twitter.com/search?q=%24CANDLE&src=ctag&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw”>$CANDLE</a><a href=”https://twitter.com/search?q=%24TROLL&src=ctag&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw”>$TROLL</a><a href=”https://twitter.com/search?q=%24MUMU&src=ctag&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw”>$MUMU</a></p>— Elon Musk (Parody) (@ElonMuskPDA) <a href=”https://twitter.com/ElonMuskPDA/status/1783102815017308291?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw”>April 24, 2024</a></blockquote> <script async src=”https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js” charset=”utf-8″></script>
1. Dogecoin (DOGE) – The OG Doggo Coin (https://dogecoin.com/) Dogecoin, the granddaddy of meme coins, features the iconic Shiba Inu dog from the “Doge” meme. Launched in 2013 as a joke by Billy Markus and Jackson Palmer, Dogecoin gained mainstream popularity with tweets from Elon Musk and garnered a passionate community known as the “Doge Army.” DOGE has limited functionality beyond being a medium of exchange, but its cultural significance and strong community backing have fueled its success.
2. Floki Inu (FLOKI) – Taking Over for Doge? (https://floki.com/) Capitalizing on the Shiba Inu theme, Floki Inu claims to be the “son of Doge” and has gained traction with its association with Elon Musk’s dog of the same name. FLOKI aims to be more than just a meme coin, offering features like an NFT marketplace, a play-to-earn game, and a charitable arm. However, its long-term success hinges on the execution of its development roadmap and maintaining community interest.
3. Slurp ($SLERF) – All About the Memes (https://blockworks.co/) Slurp embraces the meme culture with a constantly evolving mascot, often featuring internet-famous characters and references. The project prioritizes fun and community engagement, hosting regular contests and giveaways. SLERF has limited real-world use cases beyond being a community token, but its focus on fun and lightheartedness could attract users seeking a more light-hearted crypto experience.
4. Ducky Inu (DUKO) – Quacking its Way into Crypto (https://www.duckychannel.com.tw/) DUKO features a cute duck character and aims to provide a fun and easy entry point for new crypto users. The project offers a decentralized exchange (DEX) and a staking platform within the Binance Smart Chain ecosystem. However, DUKO faces stiff competition from established DEX platforms, and its long-term success relies on attracting and retaining a loyal user base.
5. Mothership (MFER) – Bringing the Memes to DeFi (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/mothership/) MFER takes a different approach, utilizing the “Mfers” meme within a Decentralized Finance (DeFi) ecosystem. The MFER token grants access to a platform offering various DeFi features like staking, governance, and potential future NFT integration. While the project holds promise for DeFi enthusiasts, its success hinges on attracting users who value both the meme aspect and the DeFi functionalities.
6. Penguin Finance (PENG) – Waddling into the Market (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/penguincoin-old/) PENG features a penguin mascot and focuses on building a decentralized exchange (DEX) within the Binance Smart Chain ecosystem. Unlike some meme coins with limited functionality, PENG offers a real-world use case for users seeking alternative trading platforms. However, the success of PENG relies heavily on the overall adoption and liquidity of its DEX platform.
7. Bombshell (BOME) – Making a Big Bang (https://www.wsj.com/articles/bitcoin-blockchain-hacking-arrests-93a4cb29)
BOME utilizes a sexy anime character as its mascot and aims to create a fun and engaging community around its token. The project has plans for an NFT marketplace, a play-to-earn game, and its own anime series. However, BOME faces criticism for its reliance on a potentially exclusionary mascot and the ambitiousness of its development roadmap.
8. Candle (CANDLE) – Burning Bright in the Memeverse (https://www.candlestick.io/)
CANDLE features a simple candle chart as its logo and focuses on building a sustainable meme coin through a deflationary token model. A portion of every transaction is burned, reducing the total supply of CANDLE tokens over time, which some believe can increase its value. However, the effectiveness of this model in a volatile market like meme coins remains to be seen.
9. TrollCoin (TROLL) – Feeding the Online Antics (https://www.coinbase.com/price/trollcoin)
TROLL uses the “trolling” meme as its inspiration and aims to create a fun and engaging community for internet pranksters. The project has limited real-world use cases beyond being a community token, but its focus on humor and lightheartedness could resonate with users seeking a more playful crypto experience.
10. Mumu the Bull (MUMU) – A Bovine Take on Meme Coins
Mumu the Bull (MUMU) takes a unique approach to the meme coin space by featuring a bullish character instead of the more common dog theme. Inspired by the “Mumu the Bull” meme, popular within the crypto community as a symbol of bullish market sentiment, MUMU aims to capitalize on this positive association.
The project has plans for a decentralized exchange (DEX) and a yield-generating mechanism for MUMU holders. However, the long-term success of Mumu the Bull hinges on the execution of its development roadmap and attracting users who see value in its specific meme and its functionalities.
11. Hege Coin (HEGE) – Inspired by a Controversial Figure (https://coinmarketcap.com/dexscan/solana/CJcu7ciRHBHu4BDnpLgAUm1A6iSp9RuhJMG36rjjrxnd/)
HEGE is a more controversial meme coin, inspired by a historical figure. While the inspiration can be a source of community engagement, it can also raise ethical concerns and potentially limit its mainstream appeal. It’s crucial to conduct thorough research on the project’s background and community before investing in HEGE.
12. MongCoin (MONG) – Bringing Memes to the Real World (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/mongcoin/)
MONG aims to bridge the gap between the meme coin world and real-world applications, focusing on charity and social good. The project partners with various charities and donates a portion of its transaction fees to support them. MONG offers a unique approach within the meme coin space, potentially attracting investors seeking to combine meme culture with social impact.
Important Note: Meme coins are inherently risky investments due to their high volatility and lack of underlying utility. Always conduct thorough research before investing in any cryptocurrency, and consider your risk tolerance. The information provided here is for informational purposes only and should not be considered financial advice.

Hello everyone! We here at the @inu-mothership are back with our final week of holiday fic recs. This set is focused on the theme of holiday parties. From Feudal Japan to modern AUs, we hope you will enjoy the festivities!

And at Tōga and Izayoi’s annual New Year’s Eve party, she decides to put her plan into action.
Too bad that Tōga and Izayoi figure out Inukimi’s plan, and decide to concoct a scheme of their own, to teach both Inukimi and Inuyasha a lesson.

Chapter 9
Rating: Explicit Status: In Progress Summary: In Kagome’s new neighborhood, there’s a wall. It’s been there for years, this massive sheet of concrete stretching across the land, separating a memorial from the neighboring church. One day on her afternoon walks, curiosity has Kagome seeking out the history behind this piece, why it exists, and what the stories around it mean. She didn’t expect the stories to be real.
Chapter Excerpt:
The door opened behind her, footsteps coming in. Miroku and Sango got over here quick, considering how bad traffic could be on a Friday afternoon. Turning to greet them, she froze at the sight of silver hair looking over the papers on the coffee table.
He was in jeans and a tee, very much not his work scrubs, and the last person she expected to see. After Wednesday, she couldn’t imagine pulling him back into this and didn’t understand why he was there. She distinctly recalled Touga telling him to leave it all alone, so why would he be standing there reading over the copies she’d received from Shiori?
“Dad called me,” he started saying, not looking up from the table. “Myouga called him as soon as he knew you were heading over and wanted someone else to be here. I was the closest one.”
Amber eyes looked up at her, weary, but friendly, and he offered her a self-deprecating smile. “I’m just as surprised as you are.”

A new adventure, for the sea bellows those who draw near [Read it at A03]
So hello there!! I hope all of you are safe and well, in conjunction of @inu-mothership fleet week, day 1, I chose Port: Enemies to Lovers to kickstart on this new voyage which is my pirate Midokirin adventure- to the Qilin!.
I would say like the sea, that story Is tumultuous AF, with me encountering writing blocks in addition, a few weeks back I fell sick with Covid so it nearly sank to a shipwreck, however I am going to push the first one out, which I hope you enjoy this tale!
And oh I have a playlist for you guys to listen, and yes it is pirate AF, but what can you do <3
So enjoy this swashbuckling tale!!

So I did a thing. For this @inu-mothership Fleet Week, I decided I wanted to see what I had time to do and where the tide took me (yes the nautical pun was intentional), and for this, it became an exploration of a ship I've never done, one that I consider to be exceedingly sexy. So I give you the beautiful ladies who gave us our favorite boys, in an AU.
Mistress IzaKimi Enemies to Lovers
Summary: Sometimes the chickens come home to roost, and Izayoi can no longer look at her relationship with Tōga as something abstract, not when the statuesque perfection that is his wife InuKimi is standing at her door. But InuKimi is not there solely for a confrontation, she is there for something else too.
I hope you all enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it!
