Day 02 of Alt ZaDr Week! This time with a Species Swap >:3 @alt-zadr-b1tch3z
Wanted to go for something a little different-- so I hope you enjoy Invader Dib - a lab-rat Irken who just wants to prove to the Tallests his researches on inferior alien species are worth their precious, tall time - and Zim, the Vortian who's supposed to serve and build shit for him as the rest of his species, but it's not like he's a very obedient Vortian. Far from it, his whole existence seems to be directed at making Dib's life a nightmare.

I am always thinking about This Guy… so much.
His ‘petty’ act of resistance is played as a joke but, it seems like he did manage to throw a major wrench into Invader Ten’s conquest of Meekrob.
And, like, if the Defective SIR Units really had a chance to kill Zim or significantly hurt his mission in any way if they were actually delivered to him, that’s a double victory for Smikka Smikka Smoodoo. After all, every moment that Zim is alive is a hindrance to the Irken Empire.
Especially if you take ‘Enter the Florpus’ as the canon ending of the show.
Just goes to show, every little bit of resistance can make a difference.
(Also, someone probably will bring up ‘Invader Dib’, so I am going to point out right now that it’s nothing but a fan-made rumor that has been debunked
But also, the fact that the fan-made made-up fake 'real planned finale' all the fans loved and believed in for so long also heavily featured the consequences of this one poor little dude’s attempt at doing Something…
That’s also kinda heartwarming on its own. All along we all wanted him to Make a Difference.)

They should make another Zim movie and call it “Invader Dib” and make it look like it’s going to be the lameass fan wish-fulfillment BS storyline from the rumors in all the trailers and content “leaks”. But it’s actually a troll to disguise the fact that it’s really an adaptation/sequel to the Zimvoid storyline from the comics. Anything to do with Dib, the Resisty, or the Meekrob battling the Irken Empire, or Zim conquering earth and getting Gaz to betray her own planet, or Tak, Tenn, or Skoodge playing a part turns out to just be from a 10 second montage of moments in different multiverses that get destroyed by Zib’s evil plan and are completely inconsequential to the main plot.

I was browsing Walmart online the other day and I searched for IZ stuff (not expecting to find much, if anything, but since Walmart has devolved into the likes of Amazon these last few years, some products actually did come up), and uh...
They're offering a blanket depicting a FAKE fan-made rumor episode/special that never existed??? I think it's supposed to be that "Invader Dib" idea that has circulated since waaayy back in the day. (Maybe????)
Now I'm left wondering - who designed this?? There's no way this is official merch right - it's clearly a weird knockoff item, so like... someone drew this. Some person somewhere designed this incredibly cheap-looking very obviously fake blanket and struck a deal with Walmart to sell it for actual money.
And I'm sorry, but it's not even a good design. (It's even cut off a little on the side if this is an accurate product "photo.")
What is going on??? Lmao

The way you can tell "Invader Dib" was always a hoax, aside from every version of the alleged storyline being obvious fan wish-fulfillment, is by the fact that it was called "Invader Dib".
Fools, the only proper title for an Invader Zim series finale would be "The Nightmare is Over".
