INVERTED DAYCARE ATTENDANTS

It's just, Sun and Moon but inverted.

What if Sun was the one you feared? What if he was the more unstable one?

What if Moon was the one loved by kids? What if Moon wanted the lights to specifically STAY OFF.

Well look no further because I got inspired by my own Sun and Moon plushies to make inverted versions of Sun and Moon! Why did my plushies inspire me? ... Well Sun looks traumatized and horrifying while plushie Moon looks soft and inviting compared to him.

I love them but you have no clue how much research I did when I was drawing them I'm actually dying, I love researching marine life but I'm dead rn.

Hello! Sorry to ask but I had an idea for some art after wondering how to draw this next piece- say Y/N tried to train Inverted Sun to be more gentle when playing or handling people smaller than him. Would it work to promise him rewards for playing nice (like star stickers or more toys to play with and craft supplies) or would he be offended? (Like, "I'm not a child!"). I find it cute since so far as I've seen he just acts like a giant child who is just- over excited.

But all in all, you are pretty accurate, he acts like a little kid who wasn't taught shit. Though he definitely wasn't always so aggressive, he used to be gentle at one point but y’know... stuff happened.

Sun could possibly be bribed, incredibly easy may I add.

Snap bracelets, a new supply of art utensils, coloring books, stickers, and more. Though you'd be cursed to doodles being drawn all over your arms in permanent marker and stickers being stuck all over you. May I tell you and inform you to never ever get him confetti or glitter, even glitter glue or glue in general is a no no for this oversized murder child.

He wouldn't be offended by you as long as you didn't call him an actual child, like if you told him he was acting like a child that would peeve him off. Though I will say you will probably break one bone in the process of trying to train him.

And have multiple arguments with Moon as he'd more then likely look you completely over after every single altercation you have with Sun.

Sun isn't friendly with adults.

And he doesn't hurt kids on purpose.

Your lucky the first few weeks of knowing him he thinks YOU ARE a child, his database is the same as Moon's yes, but when Sun is in control some of those things like facial recognition fails to work.

question for the inverted sun and moon au

having lights on isn't generally scary so when the lights accidentally turn off in sb, it's the catalyst for the daycare scene. it plays on the fear of the dark and the unknown. so in this au the lights turning on would symbolize the fear of being known and knowing, right?

like,,,, you know the scene from Over the Garden Wall when the beast is lit up for like a millisecond?? the beast used to be scary because you don't know what was under the shadow, but at that moment the beast is scary because now you know what's under the shadow.

tldr; how would you enable fear via the catalyst of the lights being on?

In this au the fear is being exposed completely.

There is no hiding, there is no safety, you are out in the open.

Exposed.

You could stay behind the security desk out of touch, but that doesn't make you safe with Sun waiting on the other side and waiting. Same goes with the play structures, though he only follows a long side where you are going inside, but will stare blankly at you with his ever growing grin.

Or is it growing?

Maybe your just paranoid.

One moment you look away from him and he's gone the next, now you're wondering where he went.

Where did he go?

Is he inside the structure?

Is he tricking you?

That is the sort of fear I want to be felt.

There is also the fear of failing, if you fail a game Inverted Sun has in store or break a rule then something will happen.

The list can go on, especially with how Inverted Sun's complete personality is. I always show him being a big lively goof but the reality really is... he isn't that way all the time.

He's very dangerous, and as much as Moon's finds Sun in this au to be annoying or irritating... Moon is Scared of Sun, and scared of Sun coming out.

That's why he's distant, he doesn't want to get attached to people older.

He really only shows much love to the kids that come to the Daycare.

How tol are your Sun and Moon? Sun stands up straight..It looks like y/n only reaches Moon’s stomach/lower chest..So like..8ft? Taller?

The tallest my guys get is 9ft, which is completely stretching the springs in their torso and legs. Inverted Moon prefers Hunching over and scrunching down for kids. They got some height on em.

Question about Inverted Sun and Moon:

How would either of them deal with an abusive parent, kidnapper, or intruder. Also, since it's reversed, does that mean Sun handles security after the pizzaplex closes?

It depends.

If it's a danger to the child's safety and they see the signs they'll do whatever to protect said child from the parent or whomever their legal guardian is. Also, it definitely depends on who is in control!

Moon won't be physically aggressive, he tries in all situations (unless there is a weapon) to subdue the aggressor, if they have a weapon... he'll protect children at all costs, putting himself in harms way, afterall he's just a robot. Or he'd even break the aggressors arm or pop it out of socket, whatever to make the aggressor drop the weapon. That being the only time he'd actually use violence.

Sun is another story. Older Sun, he'd let Moon handle the situation as he protects the kids in a corner or safer room possibly. However he cannot do that anymore, and he's been affected by the virus, starting small getting worse up to the point it is at.

There's a lot of things Sun would do to protect kids, even under the control of the virus.

Sun doesn't handle security!

He's not fit for the seriousness, nor would he fair well functioning around the other animatronics. Especially those staff bots.

Moon still handles security and you can tell as his left eye turns red with his classic ring pupil! He doesn't do security every night it's an off and on thing but if there is an intruder he'd be alerted to take over even if Sun is in current control. Security protocol overrides Sun.

How would you describe Inverted Sun/Moon's personality? In your Inverted universe it seems as if Sun is more dangerous- yet still wants to be friends just based off what Ive seen. Is this true? Im a bit curious and trying to put something together -E

Inverted Sun and Moon are sort of swapped, the easiest way to explain it is that Sun is still himself but with the virus, though it doesn't hit him as hard as it did the others.

Sun doesn't know when to stop or even how to stop.

This ask by @just-an-artists-stuff explains it pretty much perfectly on how he acts, I love the way they worded it.

And Sun basically just doesn't know his own strength or if he's being to rough or harsh, like grabbing and bruising your arm, shoving too hard, and those blades he has on his head are dangerous enough to hurt you. Especially when they spin as fast as they do, it would be like putting your hand inside a metal fan that's set on high. And he gets a bit too rough with kids who must go in timeout too.

With Moon,

He's like a tired, overworked dude working an minimum wage job.

He still carries his chaotic energy but sometimes he wishes he was capable of drinking coffee and if it would help. He loves the kids but dislikes Y/N for bugging him even though they've gotten along with the star of PizzaPlex, Bonnie. He just wants to care for good kids, not "Brats" and not be bugged by Sun. He genuinely loves caring for good kids and playing games, seriously will not tolerate bullying or screaming spoiled kids and their self entitled parents. Just won't take it, he'll give it straight to em, aka banning them from the daycare if they continue or temporarily banning at least.

He gives the kids little air acrobatic shows as well, even asking what month they were born to tell them their astrological sign and their meaning <3

He does get a break luckily, at night when Sun cleans.

He doesn't mind adults, he won't take shit from entitled parents or ones that may have harmful or ill intent towards their own child.

If an adult is a reoccurring parent that drops off their kid and picks them up, has a good kid, and the parents are good and not snobby... then he warms up to them. Especially If no rules are broken and that the parent is understanding and overall kind.

Inverted Sun WOULD NOT allow any adults near a child even if they were the parents child. He would be overly aggressive as if the parent is the aggressor.

Going as far as to keep the parent away from their child even if the child wants them or is even severely injured. Not listening to the kids stress levels or paying attention to them because of an adult in the room, he'd rather take care of them before helping the kid.

Something in his code was just encrypted to be more... rough, aggressive, passive aggressive even, and more.

Inverted Moon is just vibing.

He's really chill unless your an annoying coworker, or someone entitled/ a rulebreaker. Though I apologize if I straight up said he just hates adults, Inverted Moon doesn't, he's usually indifferent or friendly with regulars.
