INZOI - Love in limbo - Challenge GEN 1

GEN 1 - GEN 2 and 3 coming soon

💫Episode 1: "New city, New me"

🎭The setup (CAS):

Your zoi is moving to the city to start over after a mysterious incident. Choose to live in either Dowon or Bliss Bay.

Choose one aspiration that reflects what they want from this fresh start (career, love, freedom etc.)

Give them two contrasting outfits:

One for who they pretend to be (polished, confident, city-ready)

One for who they really are (vulnerable, quirky, dramatic, cozy etc.)

📸In-game task:

Take a photo of your zoi arriving at their new home.

Build a small starterhome, worth 20.000M. The remaining M can not be used until episode 3.

🏙Episode 2: "This Wasn`t the Plan"

Your zoi starts a job, but something throws them off.

💔They fall in love with someone completely wrong for them.

"Wrong person, right vibe?"

The setup:

Your zoi is trying to focus on work, dreams, and fresh starts...but then they meet them. The person who throws everything off.

Rules:

This love interest must oppose your zoi`s personality or goals in some way. For example: your zoi is tidy - the love interest is messy and chaotic. Your zoi is career-focused - the love interest is a flirty drifter. Your zoi wants kids - the love interest says "no thanks".

They can be a coworker, neighbor, customer, or even an NPC they meet randomly. The more inconvenient, the better.

🎯Challenge objectives:

🌪1. Build the tension

Interact daily until there is at least a mutual crush

Have a negative conversation (argument, disagreement, jealousy, awkward moment)

💬2. Keep it a secret

Your zoi and their love interest can only meet up in your or their home, or at evenings in the park.

In-game task:

Create a “secret date spot” somewhere on the map (a hidden lot or cozy room). Decorate it like a hideout. Take a photo of you together to hang on the wall

🎭"This can`t work"

Your Zoi must:

Try to break things off at least once.

Experience a sad or uncomfortable moment because of this love interest (e.g., they flirt with someone else, bail on plans, or say the wrong thing).

🎬Trigger a life moment after that:

Give your Sim a “self-care day” (yoga, new outfit, journaling).

Build something to represent their inner conflict (a painting, a messy room etc.)

🍼 EPISODE 3: "Now It's Real"

Your Zoi, despite all the drama, ends up having a child with the love interest. This changes everything.

🎯 Challenge Objectives:

👶 Have the Baby

The child must be from the original love interest.

Take a family picture— the vibes/poses should feel different (uncertain, bittersweet, dramatic).

💔 The Break Point Soon after the child is born, the relationship falls apart for good.

✅ In-game:

Break up or divorce officially.

One Zoi moves out

Take a photo of the breakup moment or aftermath.

🧼 Reset Your Life Your Zoi enters their "Clean Slate Era":

Move to a smaller or cozier home.

Get rid of at least 3 things that remind you of your ex.

Add 3 new things that represent your new identity (plants, mood lighting, fresh wardrobe, etc).

💪 EPISODE 4: "Me, Myself & Gym"

This is the redemption arc. Your Zoi’s building a new life and working on themselves.

🎯 Challenge Objectives:

🏋️‍♀️ Level Up

Get Fitness to Level 10 or max out one skill (music, art, cooking, etc).

Create a “me zone” at home: gym corner, yoga deck, painting room, gaming den—whatever feels like you.

🚗 Get the Car, Symbol of Freedom

Save up and buy a car.

Take a “freedom photo”: your Zoi standing by the car, smiling or leaving the house confidently.

🎨 Optional:

Do a solo hobby photoshoot (your Zoi with their painting, lifting weights, in the mirror looking fire).

👶 Parenting goals:

Bond with the child regularly.

Build a “parent & child” space at home (reading nook, play corner, shared project, etc).

Have a family picture together one the wall

💘 EPISODE 5: “Someone Unexpected”

Your Zoi meets someone new—but this time, it’s easy. No secrets, no games. Just respect and vibes.

🎯 Challenge Objectives:

💌 Meet the New Love Interest

They must be opposite of your ex. (e.g., calm where the ex was chaotic, loyal where the ex was messy.)

Get to Friendship 50% before Romance.

Go on at least two dates before the first kiss.

Let them meet your child early on. If the child dislikes them—your Zoi has to take it slow.

💍 Optional:

Build a romantic rooftop, garden café, or city-view balcony for your new dates.

🏁 FINAL GOAL: “The Life You Built”

Your Zoi has made it through heartbreak, single parenting, personal growth, and found love again—but on their terms.

🎯 Endgame Checklist:

✅ Memory board with:

A photo from each life phase (toxic love, the baby, solo era, hobby wins, new love).

✅ House includes:

A dedicated space for your Zoi’s hobby.

A safe, creative or playful space for your child.

A shared space that reflects the new relationship (romantic, calm, respectful).

✅ Personal:

One maxed-out skill.

One personal “trophy” or decoration that symbolizes everything they’ve been through (e.g., a framed photo of family, guitar, car keys, etc).

🎟️💔 HEARTBREAKER TOUR INZOI/SIMS 4 CHALLENGE 💔🎟️ (WIP) 5 Lovers. 5 Arcs. 1 Hot Mess.

I have noticed a demand for InZoi challenges while we wait for the world of InZoi to fill up with what I am sure to be wonderful and intuitive changes, I decided to try my hand at either adapting some of the old sims challenges for InZoi, or creating a new challenge that can be played across both with marginal change in the structure of the challenge. Rags to Riches challenges on InZoi come with the unique obstacle of InZoi's welfare system that won't let you fall under a certain amount of in-game currency without immediately sending 2,000 meow to keep you afloat and 100 baby challenges while possible, are severely hampered by InZoi's relationship/interaction restrictions and the length of an InZoi day being twice as long as a Sims day at it's fastest play speed.

So new story-driven challenge it is.

I am playtesting the challenge on each, switching back and forth between the two as my playable character reaches a milestone.

I won't be using any gameplay mods in my sims run. Just custom content and potentially pose packs for story building. RULES:

Start with one Zoi/Sim

Date all 5 lover types (one at a time)

Each lover has a specific minimum amount of time the relationship must run for

Must hit required milestones before moving on

They do not have to be done in order but The Rebound cannot be first.

Optional: Bonus Drama Triggers for extra chaos

Notes: As of 0.1.5v Zoi do not experience jealousy unless married and witnessing physical cheating acts. The game is still in early access. I am currently looking for ways to adjust for this in my playtest.

I currently own TS4 Base Game, Get to Work, City Living and Get Together, since my goal is to illustrate a comparison between InZoi which is in early access and The Sims 4, I don't think I need more than that for this challenge but if others want to try and help to adapt a version more inclusionary of subsequent packs have at it.

🏆 The Trophy🏆

🕒 Min Time: 3 in-game days ✅ Milestones: – Gain status/money/fame/karma - you must choose someone with more money, or Karma than your Sim/Zoi. – Public appearance together - Throw an event and be sure to be seen on their arm canoodling. – Become Friend & Romantic Interest

Both Games:

Partner must significantly increase your household funds (via career, gifts, moving in)

Attend an event or be seen together in public spaces (bar, club, park)

Reach Maximum Friendly and Romantic Relationship.

Bonus Drama Triggers:

Move in with them, take their stuff, move back out (The Sims Only)

Start a fight at a party

Leave them immediately after reaching a career or aspiration milestone

Relationship must boost your Karma leave the relationship with more Karma than you entered with.

Public appearance = social interaction in venues like clubs, photo/selfie with them. Loads of pics.

💔 The Rebound (cannot be first)

🕒 Min Time: 1–2 in-game days NO MORE THAN 3 days ✅ Milestones: – First kiss same day as meeting – No friendship allowed – Public breakup required 🔥 Bonus Drama: Flirt in front of them, reject proposal, break up post-hook up

Both Games:

First kiss within first day of meeting (before sleeping or work day passes)

Keep friendship bar near zero or negative (this does not include the romance bar)

Break up via negative interaction in public space or with witnesses nearby

In InZoi:

Do not build friendship bar above the first tiny notch (this does not include the romance bar)

"Public" breakup = visible breakup in a crowded venue or near at least 3 Zoi

💔 Rebound Failure Penalty

If you fail to:

Kiss on the first day

OR break up publicly within 3 days

👉 Then:

You must return to a previous ex (any prior lover from the challenge) and rekindle things for at least 2 full in-game days and choose a new potential lover for your next rebound.

🚫 The Forbidden Fruit: Villain Arc

🕒 Min Time: 2 in-game days (after liberating them from their pathetic ex-lover) ✅ Milestones:

– Romance a Married Zoi/Sim and get caught by their spouse – Break up their existing relationship – Only flirt/hooking up —no official dating 🔥 Bonus Drama: Befriend their ex, invite both to a party, get caught kissing

In The Sims 4:

Seduce someone already in a relationship (check relationship panel)

Ensure ex shows Angry moodlet or performs mean interaction toward you or lover

Woohoo/flirt only—do not ask to be official or move in

In InZoi:

Must build relationship with someone already in an official couple (heart icon visible with someone else)

Trigger jealousy by getting caught canoodling with their spouse

No marriage or relationship status change at the max level—must stay casual as possible.

🎭 The Long Con: Friends To Lovers

🕒 Min Time: 5 in-game days ✅ Milestones: – Start as friends – No flirting until Day 3 – Equal friend & romance bars – 2 dates + 1 full night together 🔥 Bonus Drama: Lead to proposal then reject, use them for connections, talk trash

In The Sims 4:

Use “Get to Know” or “Deep Conversation” early on

Avoid romantic interactions until Day 3

Build both friendship and romance to at least 50%

Go on 2 Gold-Medal dates, and sleep over once

In InZoi:

Talk only through friendly social wheel for first 3 in-game days

Ensure friend and romance bars visually match

Use “date” interactions (or set up outings in lounge/restaurant) twice

Spend one in-game night together (past 2 a.m.)

🔥 The Rival: Enemies to Lovers

🕒 Min Time: 5 in-game days ✅ Milestones: – Start with a negative relationship – 3+ mean/mischievous interactions before flirting – Kiss after major argument – Hook up before going official 🔥 Bonus Drama: Secret relationship, post-coital fight, sabotage someone else, messy rebound arc

In The Sims 4:

Lower relationship bar to "Disliked"

Use “Insult,” “Mock,” or “Mischief” 3 times before any flirt

Trigger a negative moodlet (Tense or Angry) before first kiss

Woohoo, then ask to be boyfriend/girlfriend or marry

In InZoi:

Use rude interactions to drop relationship into red zone

Confirm at least 3 negative interactions before flirting appears

Kiss must follow a visible argument (either angry reaction or negative moodlet)

Use hook up before asking to become an official couple

You can do an end-of-love summary where I will. Rate each lover from 1–5 for: 💣 Drama | 💘 Chemistry | 💸 Usefulness | �� Aesthetic

At the end of the 5 lovers you must choose one to go back to for your Sim/Zoi to marry! Even if you know who you plan to marry is your last lover, you must break up with EACH of the 5 partners before choosing one to marry.

Open to suggestions! This is a work in progress. If you want to mention things you've noticed that may or may not work in either a Sims playthrough or an InZoi playthrough, I haven't played a lot of InZoi so as I playtest this I will be adjusting the parameters of the challenge. I would also be looking for questions to fine-tune and clarify certain concepts in the challenge.

And of course I will be posting the stories as they unfold! As well as an analysis of decisions I made based on the play style of each game and why.

Days pass and I settle in to life in Bliss Bay. I spend my days hanging out at the museum, just to see Walker, going to the beach, and searching the want ads for job. None of them are appealing. But soon, the money I brought with me from home will be gone and rent money will be hard to come by.

As Walker and I grow closer, an idea begins to take root. He is here, in the city, he has money. He is definitely into me.

I ask him to move in with me. I am surprised when he says that he won't just move in with someone. Not without being married.

So... we did it. We eloped because I knew I couldn't keep living nothing, and Walker moved in with me.

So recreated Shanna Winters and rebuilt her house in Inzoi! Her house is inspired by 1980s Miami Beach houses, so i tried to convey those vibes in the build! The House includes a private Gym, Office, Recording Studio, Floor to Ceiling Windows, Pink Fur Carpeted Bathrooms and about a dozen photos of Shanna! Star Light: Dowon's Next Top Idol

I had the pleasure of participating in the What's your story challenge hosted for inZOI influencers. I did a live let's play of my Zoi Jayda. Jayda was a troubled girl with dreams of being coming an idol, but everything went wrong when she landed in jail. We have completed generation one of Star Light here are all of the episodes if you would like to tune in!.

Episode One: Meet Jayda

Jayda moved to Dowon with her mother just before her graduation. Ripped from her friends and future, she decided to take her anger out on Dowon while chasing her dreams of becoming an idol.

Episode Two: Mixtape Era

Jayda cuts a mixtape in hopes of being signed to Adam Entertainment. Sadly, she gets into some trouble while trying to get a job to keep her mother happy.

Episode Three: Moving Out & Jail

Jayda's mother, sick of her behavior, kicks Jayda out on the street. Jayda decides to do some shady things to better her life and it all goes wrong.

Episode Four: Flop Era

Jayda starts a relationship with the house manager that allows her to live a luxury life she never had. Sadly, time goes by and so do her dreams. Jayda marries her long time room mate and adopts a daughter that looks just like her.

What am I doing here? Story of the Niffs Legacy

It's funny that I call it Niffs Legacy, when the only one with surname "Niffs" is founder of the family. But anyway!

Hi! My name is Kaktus and I felt in love with inzoi by first sight. Well, almost. At first I was a little disapointed that the game is not a big "wow" I hyped for, but then I started fresh, without expectations and now I'm having a blast with the game. And that blast and joy I want to share!

So, first image I shared here is my "zoisona", zoi version of myself. Now I'll show you my founder, and say something about the legacy.

This is Pandora Niffs, when she was younger. Currently she is an old lady, but I'm using young adult version of my zois in family tree I'm making (I love family trees, lol).

As for the family, currently there are 11 members. I'll try to say more about them (and Pandora herself) in future posts, so you can keep up with current state of the legacy.

For now, I'll show you the family tree!

If you're curious, current heir is Nari Martin, and Heir of secound gen was Ye-won Kim. But we'll talk about that another time.

INZOI - Love in Limbo - Challenge GEN 3

🌱 GEN 3: “Chaos or Control?”

Gen 3 is the wildcard, the generation born from two lines of strong will and emotional growth. But now, they face the ultimate decision: Will they embrace the structure of their family’s success, or will they throw it all out for something unexpected and wild?

🎭 BACKSTORY (build it in CAS):

Raised with love but constantly “under the microscope” (everyone expects them to be perfect, just like their parent(s)).

Traits:

One must be wild, chaotic, or rebellious

One must reflect what they feel is expected of them

🎯 GEN 3 LIFE PHASES

✨ PHASE 1: “Do I Follow or Do I Rebel?”

At the start of Gen 3’s journey, they are conflicted. They’ve seen how their parent(s) succeeded, but do they even want the same things? Or is the pressure too much?

Challenge Objective:

Move out (maybe this is a rebellion or a fresh start).

Pick a non-conventional career (something that goes against family expectations—maybe even a risky or controversial job.

Get into a public fight - to show they’re done with the status quo.

💔 PHASE 2: “Flirting with Chaos”

Your Zoi is flirting with chaos, which means they’re pushing boundaries—in relationships, career, and lifestyle.

Challenge Objective:

Break at least one serious rule (don’t pay bills for a while, start a forbidden romance, skip work/school for no reason, or throw an outrageous party).

Fall for someone "wrong" again, but this time, make it messier and more complicated.

The love interest should be polar opposite (e.g., bad reputation, taboo relationship, commitment issues, etc.)

A chaotic or passionate love affair with drama, but it has to blow up.

Have a public meltdown (maybe in front of their parent or significant other) to show how much they’re struggling to find their own way.

⚡️ PHASE 3: “Burn It All Down (Or Rise Up)”

Your Zoi has gone through some intense emotional turmoil. Now it’s time to rebuild. They’ll either rise like a phoenix—or just spiral further.

Challenge Objective:

Reevaluate life: Your Zoi must have a “midlife crisis” moment (even if they’re still young). This can involve:

A big career change or quitting a job.

A complete house overhaul (redecorate, change locations, or move to a new lot).

Throwing out something that represents their past (old relationships, childhood mementos, etc.).

Get focused: Max out one hobby or skill, but it should reflect a passion that is wildly different from their parents' choices.

e.g., they might suddenly be obsessed with yoga, street art, gardening, or fitness, completely shifting from their original path.

💥 PHASE 4: “The Chaos Is My Legacy”

At this point, your Zoi has either successfully rebuilt their life after the emotional turmoil—or they’ve fully embraced the chaotic path.

Challenge Objective:

Move in with a chaotic group of people (this could be a house full of other rebellious Zois, roommates.

Get involved in a major scandal (social media feud, career downfall, cheating scandal, etc.). This could affect their relationships and career, but it’s all part of their rebellious journey.

💘 FINAL ROMANCE: "Fated or Cursed?"

Your Zoi has seen their parents’ relationships, the messy breakups, and the healing that followed. Now, they’re ready for love again—but it will be complicated.

Challenge Objective:

Fall in love with someone who embodies the opposite of everything your Zoi’s been through.

If Gen 1 & 2 had toxic, messy relationships, Gen 3 should find someone calm, supportive, and trustworthy.

The goal is to make sure their relationship is healthy, but with a twist—maybe they struggle with commitment or communication, forcing Gen 3 to learn something about themselves.

🌈 FINAL LEGACY CHOICES

At the end of Gen 3, your Zoi decides whether to break the family cycle or pass it down:

Option 1: The Rebel Legacy Your Zoi decides to embrace the chaos fully and pass on their wild spirit to future generations. Maybe they have a child who’s even wilder than them, and the legacy continues.

Option 2: The Healer Legacy Your Zoi decides to finally settle down, make peace with the past, and give the next generation something more stable. They break the pattern of chaos and find balance.

Option 3: The “Forgotten Child” Legacy Your Zoi goes off the grid and leaves everything behind. They become a forgotten figure in the family history, but one whose legacy is marked by their choices and the paths they didn’t follow.

I'm a sims 3 girlie and I'm gonna make a long post abt my experience as a NEW sims 2 player. I know nobody cares about this but this is my blog I can do whatever I want!!! And I wanna write appreciation for sims 2.

Ok so first of all, playing ts2 from ts3 is HARD. I underestimated sims 2. Before playing it, I already have prejudice that it will have less content than sims 3 & that the experience of playing sims 2 will be boring bc there is less lifetime goals, no traits, and less gameplay. And I was right. The first time I played sims 2, I found myself getting bored playing with Strangetown. My first gameplay was playing 1 rotation with all of sims 2 strangetown households & I thought to myself "damn i really have to force myself playing with so many households so everybody age up." I closed my game & think so myself "yep. I'm never gonna play sims 2 again." Don't get me wrong, the story of Strangetown is AWESOME. But the lack of gameplay makes me feel like i'm stuck with doing the same mundane tasks again and again for a week with every household (ex: making sure my sims got promoted, taking care of needs, socializing). I admit that going on dates are more fun in sims 2 but it isn't enough to hook me.

Tbh I can't play sims 4 bc it feels like dollhouse simulator. And sims 2 feels a little bit like dollhouse simulator too at first. The reason why I love the sims 3 so much is because of the sims 3 skill challenges. I love that if you play the guitar in 10 parties you will get a bigger tip every time you perform for tips in public. Or if you do an interaction for a certain amount you will get special perks. This is the same reason why I love playing stardew valley and feel so much joy when my character fall asleep & level up their farming/foraging/fishing & unlock new craftables/abilities/gameplay.

But then I tried giving sims 2 a second chance, and this time I play with open for business & this EP CHANGED MY LIFE. OFB is the best sims EP ever. The gameplay is SMOOTH & I've never felt so much joy from playing ANY sims games. It's so awesome bc we can make any business we want! And I eventually fall in love with sims 2 rotational gameplay when I do a BACC challenge & made my own hood with 4 founding families where each family have a role & businesses. Farmers in my hood own a grocery store & my restaurant owner buy his ingredients from them. I also make my 'mechanic' sim service sims, meaning that when I'm playing with another family & their plumbing broke, my mechanic sim (who also run a business where he restore junk cars) will come & fix their plumbing for them. Everyone's life is intertwined and they all need each other. My mayor sim also collect money from the households, and once the mayor have enough money to build a new park, the townies will have more places to visit. So I'm always motivated to make each rotation counts & tried to make as much money as possible.

After playing TS2, i'm not sure how I can go back to playing sims 3. Climbing the corporate ladder with sims 3 job now feels meaningless and sims 3 outings SUCKS. But I am still frustrated with the lack of gameplay sims 2 have compared to sims 3. I just want sims 2 to have all of sims 3 gameplay & it'll be my ultimate dream game😭 (yes now i prefer sims 2 graphics + rotational/aging system + loading screens + the freedom to decorate the hood + etc.) I just need sims 2 to have more skills, opportunities, skill challenges, interactions, and traits & I won't even look at any sims games that are being developed like paralives/inzoi😭 I really do think sims 2 found the formula for the perfect life simulator, but it's flawed. Anyways if you're a sims 3 girlie who only ever played sims 3, do give sims 2 a chance :D You won't regret it!

Chapter 1.1

I leave my apartment and head out to explore Bliss Bay and see what there is. It's a bustling city and everywhere I look, people are walking around, driving around, buses and taxis stop on every street corner, all waiting to take you where you wanted to do.

I board the bus headed for the Lumiere Art Gallery and find a seat. Everywhere around me people are chatting and laughing.

I look out the bus window, my mind wandering to a rainy day a month ago, as I boarded another bus. All buses are basically the same, but this one was carrying me away from my old life and towards a new destiny. Away from my mother, standing at the bus stop, with tears in her eyes and my youngest step sibling on her hip.

"Don't make the same mistakes I did..."

Her famous last words to me.

Momma married poor, had too many kids she couldn't support. Divorced. Married again. Still poor. Always poor.

This is the Zoi I made rather quickly. I named her April Alphabet because I think I will use her for an A to Z legacy challenge. =D
