Happy St. Patrick’s Day, everybody! ☘️☘️☘️

I want to celebrate this holiday by sharing my sketched portrait of Cillian Murphy as I want to congratulate him on winning his first Oscar for Best Actor which he received at the 96th Academy Awards! Yes, he won his first Academy Award for his amazing performance as J. Robert Oppenheimer in the “Oppenheimer” movie! He is officially the first Irish-born actor to win this achievement at the Oscars 2024! Isn’t that incredible? 🤩🤩🤩 I enjoyed the “Oppenheimer” movie and I can’t wait to what other movies he’ll appear in the future.

Declan Mulholland was hired to play Jabba the Hutt in The Empire Strikes Back. He did a scene with Harrison Ford, complete with costuming and set. As it turns out, George Lucas was unsure how he was going to portray Jabba. He really didn't want a human to play him, he thought he would replace Declan in the scene with a stop-action animated Jabba. In the end he cut this scene and used a giant slug-like puppet as Jabba. Some say that Lucas did initially plan to have Declan play Jabba after William Hootkins turned down the role, but it wasn't working out with Declan.

it’s so obvious that they are probably basing this off cillain murphy and barry keoghan and i just have to tell people that you know they are outliers right? like i don’t see tom hiddleston, charlie cox, etc and say all british people are hot because that doesn’t make sense as i know that they are famous actors who are known for being attractive BUT THAT DOESNT MEAN THE WHOLE FUCKING NATIONALITY IS

this isn’t to say that cillain murphy and barry keoghan aren’t gorgeous but pls know that saying the entire country looks like them is so entirely stupid

and don’t even get me started on the irish accents thing. you wouldn’t find it sexy if someone you didn’t find attractive wasn’t saying it and besides there’s tons of different Irish accents and someone of them are just bloody hard to even understand as someone how has lived in ireland their whole life
