I get being upset about Bonnie not being invited to the Mikaelson ball, but here you go once again, blaming Caroline for a choice the writer's made, something she had no part of. People are getting weird AF with their anti Caroline stance and it's getting ridiculous.

Here you go once again, putting words I didn't say in my mouth.

Does it upset me that Bonnie wasn't invited to the ball? Yes. Does Caroline being there make me mad? No. Do I think she shouldn't have come? Yes, I certainly think so.

I complained about Caroline and Matt being there because plot wise it was absolutely stupid and it made no sense. They didn't add absolutely nothing to the events developing there, and their presence was completely unneeded: Caroline and Matt were there solely because of Klaus and Rebekah/delena. This was the moment the showrunners decided to start writing klaroline, exclusively and only because the fans liked their first scene together, so they decided to have her going to the ball just to have their "romance" developing, which made no sense for her at all;

Klaus literally tried to kill her a few episodes prior, he had Tyler bite her on her birthday leaving her on the brink of death and then he showed up to heal her. Where is her self-preservation? Wasn't she scared of him at all?

It's funny to me that she only accepted to go because of Rebekah inviting Matt. Did she thought he was in potential danger? Did she decide to go to try to protect him? I get she was worried about her friend, but this is slightly strange.

Matt was just there for Rebekah and to make Damon and Elena fight because of his altercation with Kol, nothing else, and his presence and the issue he caused wasn't that serious because they made up an episode later. Why would he go? He was a human on a house full of the oldest vampires to ever live, and he was aware of this. I'm aware Matt isn't the brightest person to walk the earth, but everybody knows a human shouldn't be around bloodthirsty vampires.

Again, just stupid. Caroline and Matt shouldn't have been at the ball, that's all. Elena and the Salvatore going made sense: she was the doppelgänger, Stefan had story with them and Damon wouldn't allow her to go anywhere without any of them.

Bonnie, however, had every single reason to be there:

She was Ayana's descendant.

Esther would want to meet a Bennett witch, seeing she was best friends with one once and she knew they were powerful allies.

She had been more close than anyone to killing Klaus: the fact that he didn't try to seduce her or try to kill her was ooc, especially because he befriended witches before klaroline came in.

Kol loved witches and this bitch knows everything about everyone. It surprises me that he didn't try to get her on his side or at least use her to try to take down any member of his family.

The Bennett bloodline is far more powerful in magic terms than any other family could ever be, their blood was needed for like half of the most powerful spells and the fact that not a single person thought about getting on Bonnie's good side is completely stupid.

What is ridiculous is that people dickride 3x14 to hell because of the fanservice. I love this episode, but calling out it's flaws it's not a bad thing.

Hi! I would love to hear why you think Klaus and Bonnie would be a compatible or at least fascinating match :) I can tell you're going to turn me into a Klonnie shipper even though the last thing I need in my life is another doomed OTP!!

Hey :D I love a good doomed ship it makes the fandom more interesting especially in terms of creativity tbh.

Bonnie had proven herself to be just as morally corrupt as other characters as needed. Sure, it wasn’t to the extreme of others but it existed especially if her friends were threatened. That type of loyalty and strength would be what Klaus would like because of how possessive and selfish he is.

There’s Bennett-Mikaelson connections through the lore of TVD. Ayana was Esther’s mentor. Abby entombed Mikael. Then in present there’s Esther prasing Bonnie for being the one to fight Klaus. Elijah recruited Bonnie to do it. Both Bonnie and Klaus have parental struggles on both sides. Klaus is more forefront than Bonnie’s but it exists. Tagging my friends content here :).

Klaus was introduced with an affinity for witches (Gloria, Maddox, Greta..)it was just dropped after well you know ;). But in a sibling light I could see both Rebekah and Kol taking a liking to Bonnie. Rebekah wanted that normal highschool experience and Kol was formerly a witch. We got a little bit of Kennett moments in s4 but that was dropped. Bonnie is the only TVD character to never have her own side friend out the group.

Narratively TVD would’ve just had to work with their few key points to make Klonnie a slow burn ship from s2-4 tbh. Bonnie kept getting the short-stick. Season 3 she got cheated on, her mother abandoned again, she had all the reasons to distant herself from her friends and end up in someone’s darker arms. The Mikaelson Ball ep Esther is leeching off Bonnie and her bloodline yet Bonnie is no where to be found… huh… Bonnie doesn’t get enough in universe credit for her actions because she has not only nearly killed Klaus she has saved his life(and everyone else’s.)

Season 4 Bonnie was dipping into a darker side with Expression and she blindly trusted Shane just to learn magic. It would be another moment for Klaus to try and get in her good graces. Klaus would have to open up emotionally for Bonnie to sympathize with him. I think they would challenge each other. Bonnie is one of the female characters who can fight back to people who are trying to harm her in a way Elena or Caroline can’t tbh.

Bonnie wasn’t just any witch either she was a Bennett which her family is responsible for nearly everything in TVD. I don’t think Klaus would’ve suddenly became a “Disney prince” type of BF by any means but I could see the relationship working. Klaus is still an elitist bastard with years of knowledge Bonnie would want. Bonnie is willing to give that loyalty to anyone who is good to her. Cami is seen as good and she even falls for Klaus lmao.

Last point people only play morality clauses with Bonnie because the series does. By the end of TVD Bonnie considers Damon not Elena or Caroline or Matt her bestfriend. That should say enough about what Bonnie would allow but….The writers and fans will argue that Bonnie doesn’t deserve to be paired up with toxic men or women but TVD never introduced anyone that was “morally good” by our world standards. Even Enzo physically harmed Bonnie pre-relationship. The other leads are white and never held to the same standards. Elena said it was Stefan until it wasn’t. Caroline said no to Klaus until she didn’t. Hayley’s arc includes with her fucking Klaus and dating Elijah… the list could continue.

she wouldn’t wear the dress that Klaus gifted her just to spite him. Then had she been invited would’ve showed up late and ignored him. Bonnie would think these actions lessens Klaus advances but all it does is make him fight harder.

Word has spread throughout the city like wildfire as the hand crafted invites find themselves into the houses of our guests. Tonight, you will all find yourselves cordially invited to attend our masquerade ball, where of course there will be a prize for the best dressed.

It is no secret to anybody in New Orleans, that no one quite hosts a masquerade ball like the Mikaelsons and all citizens will find themselves invited to the compound for the evening. Once our guests arrive, they will find that the celebrations of new beginnings will already be in full swing, with the the compound decorated beautifully, with no expense spared.

Once all of our guests are situated inside, Delainey Moore and Klaus Mikaelson will take to the stage; sharing with the city their vision moving forward. The entire city is to be involved and all sides are now encouraged to work together, towards a greater future. At the height of the festivities, plans for a council will then be announced by Klaus Mikaelson and it will be revealed who is to lead and represent each faction. The evening itself is for one of hope and unity and questions regarding the allegiance formed between the OEA and the Mikaelsons, are asked to be postponed until after the festivities are over.

For now, welcome back to our vibrant city and we're excited for you to embark on this brand new chapter with us. We just hope that the residents of New Orleans can all feel the same.

Rebekah fetched you and Theo at four in the morning. She had said you were both late. However, neither of you recalled a time being arranged for your holiday preparation day. And neither of you would have agreed to get up so early.

But an hour later you were both sleepily sitting in one of the large rooms in the Mikaelson house that Rebekah had taken over for her preparation day. Rebekah must have been up for hours because there were two large piles of gifts in massive cardboard boxes that had your names on them.

“Ok. (Y/N) you take Hayley, Cami and Hopes gifts. Theo, you take Klaus and Kols. I’ll wrap Elijah's, he's a particular snob when it comes to gifts being wrapped well.” Rebekah said. While Rebekah had the fancy thick version of the wrapping paper, the kind with measuring squares on the back so you knew exactly how much to cut as you glided the scissors through, you noticed that you and Theo had identical roles only they were much thinner and probably cheaper. No doubt due to Rebekah’s uncertainty that either of you could wrap anything at her standard. 

While you managed to wrap your gifts rather well and after an hour and a half your pile was halfway through, Theo was still on his first few gifts. You showed yours to Rebekah once each was done, she added a few ribbons and added it to the correct box if it was approved. If not it was sent back to be wrapped again.

“Hey! Don’t steal my wrapping paper!” You complained. Theo rolled his eyes as he looked at you. He had sticky tape in his hair and stuck to the arms of his jumper. There were small scrunched balls of wrapping paper and some torn bits scattered around him. 

“I ran out.” He grumbled as he tried to wrap a large gift and found that the bit left from the tube of paper he took from you wasn’t big enough.

“You ran out. We had fifteen tubes each. How did you run out?” You said and chuckled slightly.

“Because wrapping is hard now give me another tube. This one’s really big and hard to wrap.” He said and snatched at one next to you.

"Rebekah. Make Theo stop wasting my wrapping paper or I hit them with the tube." You complained. Rebekah looked up from the gift that she was wrapping carefully. The last of hers that she had to wrap. 

“Maybe you should just stick the little bows on the gifts for me instead?” Rebekah said as she looked over at him and saw several rolls worth of paper strewn everywhere. 

“I can do this! It’s just wrapping.” Theo said as he accidentally ripped the bit of paper he’d been using to wrap the large gift. “Where are the bows?” He asked in defeat. Rebekah patted the floor next to her and they went through each gift adding bows and ribbons she hadn’t gotten to you. You joined them once you were done.

“My god it looks like christmas threw up in here!” Kol said as he passed by the room towards the end of the day and looked around.

Caroline and I with our arms linked together with one another, walked up to the Mikaelson’s mansion. She was wearing some heels but I kept my boots on since you could see them with the front of the dress being see through it part of the front. There was music blaring when we came through the door and from the looks of it the whole town was invited. “I’m going to find Matt. I’ll see you later.” She squeezes my arm leaving me on my own.

Scanning my eyes across the crowd I couldn’t find anyone I really recognized but I paused feeling someone staring daggers into the back of my head making me slightly turn around finally seeing it was Klaus. “Klaus…..woah. You clean up rather well.” He was in a black tux but he had a white bow tie that went well with the white shirt underneath his jacket.

“Raelyn, you look stunning in that dress. I must say your designer must have good taste.” He shook his head almost frozen in place by the girl in front of him. I had actually curled the ends of my hair and tied two strands of my hair back in a clip. Paired with my brother's necklace as always.

Leaning up on my toes I smiled up at the hybrid who was taller than me. “Oh I'll be sure to let him know…excuse me sir are you perhaps Nik Mikaelson I must tell him what a splendid job he did on this dress." I mocked pretending to search around for Klaus even though he was standing right in front of me.

"You're so silly sometimes, Rae. I don't think I've ever laughed this much with anyone else." He chuckled, bending his head down to me smiling.

Placing my hands together in front of me, sending him the same expression back. "I can say the same about you, Nik. After what happened to my brother I - I didn't think I could have fun anymore."

"I'd do anything to keep you happy, Ms. Lane." He responded simply lifting his gaze up towards the long winding staircase where his gaze locked with his mother who was watching us and wearing a black cocktail dress from the looks of it. "If you're still worried about her, why don't you just go talk with her?"

"Oh hell no. I can't possibly do that." I made a noise in disgust at his proposal.

He responded. "She might like you."

"Or she might want me dead like the Bennett witches did. A witch without their own magic is basically against nature." I cut him off quickly.

He stepped closer where I could feel his hot breath mixing with mine. "A vampire is also against nature, Raelyn."

"Yeah but that doesn't mean…" I didn't really know what to say back.

Klaus whispered, sending me a cheeky smile. "Aren't we the perfect pair then? Uh Raelyn I have to join my mother. I'll find you shortly." He maneuvered through the crowd of people now standing on the staircase with his mother and siblings.

Elijah declared to everyone in the room. "Welcome. Thank you for joining us. You know, whenever my mother brings our family together like this, it's tradition for us to commence the evening with a dance. Tonight's pick is a centuries-old waltz, so if all of you could please find yourselves a partner, please join us in the ballroom."

I moved through the crowd of people accidentally stumbling over someone's dress where we both tumbled to the wooden floor. "Oops sorry I'm sorry." I immediately apologize for getting to my feet and helping the girl up.

"It's fine, it was an accident. I'm Elena…and you're the new siphon witch in town the Salvatore's are afraid of." She knitted her brows together for me to notice she had dark brown hair and brown eyes. "But they won't really tell me why."

Knitting my brows at the girl I asked softly. "If they are so protective of you then why are you here exactly?"

"The original witch invited me. Apparently she wants to speak with me alone about something." The brunette responds.

Glancing over my shoulder back at the staircase I could see that she was indeed watching us from above. "I wish I could tell you what she wanted to tell you but I don't know anything about it. What I can tell you though is the Salvatore Brothers have nothing to fear from me. Klaus has no intention of using me as a weapon against you and your friends. He's simply offered me a home and protection from my own monstrous family."

"What do you mean monstrous family?" She asked.

Sternly looking at her I decided to tell her what she really wanted to know. "My Coven tricked me into killing my twin brother. Have a nice dance, Elena." Turning on my heels I could faintly hear Damon ask her.

"Why were you talking with the enemy witch?"

Clutching my hands into fists I was getting really annoyed with him anymore. I might just consider throwing his ass around since I revealed the other night that I have enough power to take the Originals to their knees. Some people pushed me around where I nearly tripped until someone put a hand on my waist. I grabbed their forearm making them wince siphoning some magic until they spoke up. "Ah! Raelyn, it's me, love."

"Oh sorry, Klaus." I apologize quietly removing my hand from his arm.

He cleared his throat, removing his hand from my waist and offering up his right hand instead with a slight bow like I was a queen. "May I have this dance, M'Lady?"

"Yes." I snorted a laugh at him placing my hand in his letting him lead me into the crowd with everyone else getting in line for the dance. Placing one hand on his shoulder he put his other on my waist keeping our other hands intertwined together.

"You seem nervous. Your heart's beating faster." He pointed out making me roll my eyes at his vampire hearing.

"Is this going to be like the dances we practiced?"

He said. "Yes, except we will have to switch partners occasionally."

"Switch partners!"

He leans forward nuzzling his nose against mine chuckling. "Don't worry, little siphon. If any of my siblings becomes your partner they all know the moves quite well."

The music began playing where everyone started spinning around the room in step with the tunes that were being played. Klaus squeezed my hand twirling me out and back into his chest a few times making me smile. “Let me try to twirl you now.”

“Alright let’s see you try, Rae.” He smiled when he removed his hand from my waist. I let go of his shoulder. I raised my arm as high as I could where our hands were still intertwined and he spun out. Yet when I spun him back in I did it faster than I thought where we tumbled to the ground causing some of the people dancing beside us to break away and send us glaring looks. “We might have to work on that one, love.”

I chuckled, hugging my knees to my chest even though I had a dress on watching him get to his feet offering me his hand. “Yeah you’re probably right, Nik. Thanks.” He tugged me up to stand with our chests pressed up against one another beginning to get back into the dance routine.

“Don’t panic darling but we have to switch now.” He told me where I gulped nervously letting him twirl me out of his arms with my blonde hair throwing around in the air.

A new set of hands caught me where my gaze lifted up meeting the brown eyes of Kol. “Hello darling, fiery witch.”

“Hi Kol. I hope you know this dance like your brother said. I’ve only had a few lessons.” I responded by placing my hands where they needed to be and we began the dance once more.

Kol smiled down at me closely, focusing on my necklace around my neck. “So what type of witch are you. I have never seen one who was strong enough to bring all Originals to their feet.”

“I apologize for that I was just afraid that he would die, he’s the only person I honestly trust at this moment in my life.” I explained meeting his gaze for only a brief second.

He tilted his head cursively. “Hmm. So what type of witch are you?”

“I wasn’t born with my own magic. My mother referred to what I am as a siphon. I draw magic from anything that has supernatural powers. Vampire, werewolf or witches. I can also take it from objects such as I took magic from the wall. But I always have to take from something else regardless.”

Kol smirked, moving one of his hands to brush over the blue diamond necklace. “Have you ever considered turning this into a source to place your powers.”

“I don't know what you mean, Kol.”

“Turn this jewelry into a talisman for your magic. That way you can just siphon magic from it unless you need a stronger source then you can siphon from someone else.” He explains spinning me out and back into his chest where we broke away bowing to one since everyone else was doing so.

I smiled actually, never thinking that was possible. “I never thought of that. How do you know about it. Could you teach it to me?”

“Before I was turned into a vampire I was a very powerful witch like you clearly are. But yes I can help you do such a thing someday but it seems my brother wishes for your attention.” He nodded his head making me look over my shoulder seeing Klaus coming over to us.

He smiled, holding his hand out for me. “Brother may I steal Ms. Lane froze you. I wish to show her something in private.”

“Of course, Nik.” Kol took my hand kissing the palm of it before going to find another dance partner. “It’s been a pleasure, Raelyn.”

Klaus led me up the staircase and down some hallways before we entered a large room filled with paintings and drawings. The supplies were scattered all across the room putting me at awe until he shut the door letting the music die down. “In the time I have lived in this house, how have I never come across this room before now?”

“It’s one of my passions.” He replied with his hands behind his back. “Do you like it?”

I smiled in his direction seeing that he was worried that I wouldn’t. He probably wouldn’t dare to let his guard down with anyone else. My eyes landed on a large painting on the wall in front of us. “This is amazing. You weren’t kidding when you said you were an artist…I take the curators at the louvre aren't on vervain.”

Klaus sighed with a smile. “Yeah, well, that's their mistake. So how was your day with Caroline?”

“It was good.”

“Oh come on there has to be more than that.” He presses on wanting to know more.

Shaking my head at him he was trying to be noisey. “Sorry Niklaus but if I told you that would break the girl code.”

“Not even a peak.” He tried again nudging me with his arm, making me nudge him back.

“Not a chance.” Moving my eyes across the table in front of us I could see piles of sketch drawings. Picking up one of a girl looking off in the distance I asked him finally to look at him. “Wait a second. Did... Did you do these?”

Klaus nodded at me watching my espression. “Yeah. What do you think of them?”

“They’re incredible. My brother would be more impressed than I am. He wanted - um would have been an artist.” I sucked in a breath fighting back some tears.

“Actually one of my landscapes is hanging at the hermitage, not that anyone would notice.” He replied, biting his lip.

Pushing some of them away I paused recognizing a familiar face on one of the drawings he had done. Lifting the page up I scanned over the image carefully hoping that I wasn’t missing something. But the image was so clear: the matching eye shape, the slight curly hair and the genuine smile that he last gave me before he died in my arms. “You….you drew my brother, Jacob. But how…I…I don’t see how you could have.”

“Yes I did, Rae. It…it was the night you showed me into your memories. I did my best to remember what he looked like. I am not completely finished with it but it was supposed to be a surprise.” Klaus turned to fully face me not expecting that I would have found it underneath all the others. “What uh - what do you think? I can have it finished by tomorrow if there’s something I missed.”

I cut him off sitting the picture down grinning through happy tears that I now would be able to see my brother happy and not go to sleep seeing him die at my hand. “No don’t do anything it’s perfect. That’s how I want to remember him - that’s how he should be remembered. I can’t believe you did this for me…no one ever has…I - thank you.” Flinging my arms around his neck I buried my face in the crook of his neck.

“You’re welcome, little Siphon.” He wrapped his arms around my waist, hugging me back until I broke the hug still keeping my hands on his chest. “What do you say about getting out of here huh?”

“And where would we go?” I decided to play along with his game. “London, Italy or New Orleans.”

His grin grew wider across his face. At my words the blue of his eyes lightened up. “Rome, Paris, Tokyo. Wherever you want. All you have to do is ask, love.” He slowly began to lean forward and I did the same moving my hands around his neck feeling him move his arms around my waist tugging me until I was pressed up against his chest.

I moved my head upward so close to kissing him until we heard someone banging on the door causing us to pull apart. “Nik. Rae. Mother is ready to make the toast!” That could be identified as Rebekah.

“I’ll put a dagger in the next person who interrupts us!” Klaus growled showing me his golden werewolf eyes.

Running my hands down his chest I broke the embrace we shared. “Hey, be nice. She’s your sister.”

“I’m still annoyed with Caroline too.” He grumbled watching me open the door waiting for him to follow me.

Smirking at him playfully I flipped my hair over my shoulder leaving the room. “We could always run away for the weekend with the world at our fingertips, Nik.” He grinned at the idea following me outside to see that there were waiters bringing around glass filled with red liquid and his mother was standing at the top of the staircase holding her own drink.

She makes a speech while Klaus handed me one of the glasses clinking it with mine. “Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. Waiters are coming round with champagne. I invite you all to join me in raising a glass. It provides me with no greater joy than to see my family back together as one. I'd like to thank you all for being part of this spectacular evening. Cheers. “ He takes a drink first and I followed but I felt a bitter taste in my which was weird but I sent him a smile back.

It was a cold morning as Elijah found hisself missing his wife as he hadn't seen her in ten years while his wife wasn't a vampire nor witch as Elijah learned there was a side effect of the exliur that he took that linked her life to his. Elijah looked seeing Hayley cling to him as he was no fool, he knew of Hayley's feelings for him but Elijah wanted his sweet little wife that he missed dearly.

"Elijah!" Elijah stood up surprising Hayley when he heard Y/N's sweet honey laced voice making him quickly rush out to see her. Y/N stood in a sweater dress, hair up looking at Elijah with a smile, seeing him dressed in a suit looking just as devilishly handsome as the night they met.

Y/N ran to her husband and Elijah lifted her with ease, Y/N wasted no time kissing her husband. Elijah growled deeply kissing back roughly as Anastasia faked gagged at her parents as it seemed her father was trying to devour her mother.

"Come now Anastasia. Your parents haven't seen one another for the last decade." Klaus teased as the young vampire rolled her eyes while Elijah place Y/N back down peppering her neck with kisses.

Anastasia caught Hayley's attention as the vampire looked so much like her father, Anastasia got most of Elijah's genes having his dark eyes. The young vampire wore a white botton up under a vest with black slacks as she was an Mikaelson though and though having chased off men hitting on her mother.

"I've missed you."

"I missed you more, my love." Elijah muttered against Y/N's skin pulling away cupping her face seeing her flushed cheeks before kissing her softly then moved to hug Anastasia.

"Hello father." Anastasia mumbled against Elijah's chest hugging back as both Y/N and Anastasia had been in England to finish the girl's studies and Y/N finishing up work for the Queen.

"My sweet girl, keeps your mother safe?"

"Always father." Anastasia said smiling at her father then went to say hi to her aunt, uncles and cousin. Elijah turned his attention back to his wife walking over to her kissing her again just as Hayley cleared her throat before Elijah could get carried away.

"Hayley meet my wife, Duchess Y/N Vermount-Mikaelson."

"Elijah, no need for titles." Y/N said giggling eyes twinkling as Elijah kissed her hand while Hayley was surprised then noticed the wedding bands seeing Elijah kissing his wife's ring. Hayley felt pang of jealousy as all of Elijah's rejections and avoiding to be alone with her made sense but Hayley still wanted Elijah.

"Pleasure to meet you, Hayley Marshall. You are a lucky woman to have Elijah."

"No Hayley, I am the lucky one." Elijah says looking at his wife with such adoration as Y/N flushed at the affection Elijah was showering her with. Hayley swallowed looking away before telling Elijah she needed to go that was until Klaus said he was going to throw a ball that night.

Elijah took Y/N up to his bedroom that he was going to share with her then picked her kissing her roughly. Y/N mewled against Elijah's mouth as he pressed her up against a wall kissing along her neck leaving marks there then moved to the bed.

"Elijah." Y/N breathed trembling feeling Elijah's hands move up her bare legs under her dress, Elijah moved his mouth along her neck. Elijah pulling away letting her push off his suit jacket, Y/N flushed feeling Elijah slowly pulled the lace she wore.

Elijah looked down at his wife seeing her lips swollen from his rough kisses as her neck covered with dark marks. As she looked up at him with such innocent eyes made him growl lowly leaning down to her ear.

"Allow me to show you just how much I've missed you."

Hayley arrived to the ball dressed in a dress that showed just a little too much skin to try and get Elijah's attention which got Anastasia's attention. She narrowed her eyes watching Hayley, the young woman was always a bit too smart for her own and had picked up on Hayley's feelings for her father.

"Something bothering you dear niece?" Anastasia heard her uncle asked as she looked at the Original Hybrid and Klaus looked at his beloved niece.

"The wolf is interested in father....aunt Rebekah said she just had your child yet she seems to want father's affections."

"Yes, well your father was sweet to Hayley and you know your father. Always needing to save the woman."

"So mother tells me." Anastasia says seeing that her parents finally showed their faces, Elijah dressed in a dark suit that got Hayley's attention as she swallowed with how handsome he looked. Y/N was next to her husband dressed in a elegant long sleeved backless with her hair up and looking like perfection on Elijah's arm.

"It seems your father was a little too rough." Klaus said noticing how Y/N limpped a bit as Elijah noticed also peppering his wife with kisses getting a giggle from her.

"Father missed mother....please don't talk to me about this."

"Sorry my dear Anastasia." Klaus chuckled patting the young woman's back looking down at Elijah and Y/N seeing the two dancing as the night went on. Elijah stood by Rebekah talking to her and his niece, Rosalie who cling to his arm as if to hide herself from young men that was staring too long.

"Something wrong little Princess." Elijah asked gently running his fingers through her long blonde hair with Rebekah standing by.

"Just hate these things uncle....oh there is a wolf talking to aunty." Rosalie says quietly as Elijah looked over growling seeing a relatively handsome wolf talking to his wife as they danced. The wolf's hand was on Y/N's lower back as he smiled when Y/N laughed at the joke the wolf told her as Elijah narrowed his eyes growling.

"She and Henry are kinda cute together." Hayley says standing next to Elijah smiling at the Original but was taken back by the predatory glit in Elijah's eyes. As Hayley was unaware of just how much Elijah was possessive of his wife he was.

"Hayley, may I suggest you go save the wolf before Elijah tears his heart out." Rebekah says as Hayley looked at Elijah seeing the Original's eyes get darker when Henry pulled Y/N closer.

Hayley quickly got to Henry's side while keeping a note of letting Henry come with her to the Abattoir seeing that Y/N was charmed by the wolf. Elijah was quick to be by his wife kissing her deeply surprising her but melt against him.

"What was that for?"

"I just felt affectionate is all my Duchess." Elijah said nuzzling her neck as the night went on Elijah would share glares with Henry who just smirked at the vampire clearly ready to challenge the Original for his wife.

You walked in the housed as caroline invite you in. She invited you and the girls to have a girls night because you guys haven’t hang out for so long. “You’re late young lady!” Caroline squeaked drunk “Sorry i told you i’ll be late” you said frowning “here have a drink!” bonnie said out load because of the music elena is dancing and it seems like they’re all pretty drunk you sighed and grabbed the drink you’ve been busy since klaus is so obsessed with his little hybrids you’re his bestfriend so you’re helping him.

You and the girls dance like its the end of the world. walking towards carolines room you look around her room it’s been awhile since you’ve been there. You’re having fun until you saw a piece of paper with carolines face in it.

your smile immediately falts when you saw it.

your heart crushed as you remember the day you asked him to draw you.

flashback:

you walked into the room and see klaus working on a deawing you smiled seeing him smiling while drawing he looks so light when he’s painting. like he has nothing in mind but to paint not to breed hybrids.

he looks at you and you feel your stomach fluttering “What are you doing and your smiling alone there?” you asked him “just painting” he responded you look into what he was working and sees carolines face.

your smile disappeared.

“can you draw me?” you asked he raised his brows

“why would i do that” he said bluntly he’s in a bad mood

“nothing it’s just- nothing” you said faking a smile and walked away he’s confused by your behavior but he ignored it.

“hey!” elena shrugged you, you shakes your head coming back to reality.

“sorry i think i’m drunk” you said faking a smile and holding back the tears how is it he can draw caroline when she doesn’t even care about him but you, you’re always there for him when he needed you when he’s family is daggered in a box.

“i’m gonna go home now it’s late” you smiled with watering eyes they nodded as they clean up the mess. you walked out of the door, you walked slowly in the middle of the road you find peace in it you try laying in the middle now you understand damon why he’s doing it when he’s upset.

you go home in to mikaelson mansion you’re greeted by playful kol.

“hey love, how are you doing?” he playfully asked leaning closer to you, you rolled your eyes and walked upstairs trying to calm your self down but tears wouldn’t let you win. you broke down sliding down against the floor holding you mouth to prevent them to hear you. but they did.

You’re avoiding klaus for the last three days. he’s been trying to approach you for three days but you just walked out or wouldn’t stay out of your room.

now you’re at a bar drunk. dancing with a boy when suddenly he just crushed to the ground. you were shocked as you helped him get up, you looked up to see klaus looking furious at you as he grabbed you and pulled you out to the back of the bar.

“What the hell is wrong with you?!” you asked him angrily.

“What’s wrong with me? no what is wrong with you?! you’ve been avoiding me for three days and now you’re dancing with some other boy!” he pinned you against the wall.

“What us wrong with me?” you scoffed “So what if i’m avoiding you as if you care” you look up to him with angry tears falling.

his face softened “I care Y/n! I care” he shouted

“No you don’t all you care about is caroline!” you shouted back “I like you niklaus!” you hit his chest

“You make me buy her dress to the ball! You made me buy that bracelet you gave to her! Do you even knows how much it hurts me? You’re treating me like i’m your personal assistant! I’m not nik! i’m not! i’m your fucking bestfriend!”you continued.

“Youre giving her things but she doesn’t care nik! when will you ever see me? huh? or did you ever see me? did you even realized that i only stayed with you for a hundred year is because i love you!?”you cried.

he stayed silent for a while looking shocked. you widen your eyes when you realized what have you just done.

you walked out you can hear him calling you but you didn’t dare look at him because of the tears starting to fall you wiped them off and run until a hand caught your shoulders and slammed it against the wall with vamp speed you looked up to see klaus.

and he kissed you

“I’m sorry love, i didn’t mean to hurt you that was just a gift for caroline love i’m so sorry to hurt you” you were too shock that you didn’t get a chance to speak before he kissed you.

“i love you too”
