Peace Shoes Posture. . . – feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace . Peace. I knew ultimately this mess would end. I knew there was a point to it all. I was given answers before I had to ask the question. God was with me throughout the entire process. . After they found the first tumor, I was at home with the kids and ended up with this horrible stomach ache. All of my organs hurt from the inside. I thought maybe I had picked up a virus somewhere. . I took a bath hoping to ease the pain or maybe get things moving out of me. I got out, got dressed and proceeded to empty the contents of my stomach. . A few times. I then needed to change my clothes. Projectile vomit tends to make a mess of things. While changing, I started to feel like I was going to black out. I laid down on the tile until I came back around and crawled to the kitchen. . In the past I always felt like water or juice helped after blacking out. I made it to a small container of bright blue Gatorade. You know the blue I’m talking about. But then I blacked out again without warning. . I woke up on the kitchen floor in a puddle of blue Gatorade in a towel. I called my husband, who was not happy I didn’t call 911. We still argue about this, although it is laced with humor and not a serious argument. . I didn’t know what was wrong at the time but I had this very calm feeling the whole time. I didn’t panic. I was ready for whatever this mess was going to bring us because I knew God was with me. . I had read the gospel over and over and I had seen Jesus heal people far worse than me. I knew healing was coming, even in that bright blue pool. . Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you.
