Isabeau: "Hey Mira! You doing alright?"

Mirabelle: "Um… I have an important question. AND YOU'RE NOT ALLOWED TO LAUGH AT ME >:("

(The party is all focused on Mira)

Odile: "Well? We're waiting."

Mirabelle: "Okay… Would you all still be my friend …If I were a worm?"

Odile: "What"

Isabeau: "Yes!"

Bonnie: "A worm? Like the ones that wiggle and stuff? The dirt guys?"

Mirabelle: "Yes! That kind of worm! If I were magically transformed into a wriggling worm, would you all still be my friend?????"

(It's all you can do to hold back a laugh)

Isabeau: "Mira, I would be your friend if you were in any shape."

Bonnie: "Even a crab?"

Isabeau: "Yes. Even a crab. (small text) but it would definitely be harder."

Odile: "So in this hypothetical situation, can you still communicate? Can you speak? How do we even know it's you in the first place?"

Mirabelle: "I don't really know… But you would know the worm was me."

Odile: "Then yes, I think you could still hang around us. It would be sad that we couldn't have you join in on the conversation, but I think we would bring you along."

Bonnie: "Worms are icky and slimy so I don't want to carry you."

Mirabelle: "!"

Bonnie: "But we could get a little box! Some of the other kids at school really liked collecting bugs, and I remember they use this special kind of box. So we could use that to carry you around!"

(Mirabelle is intent on hearing all the answers, seemingly taking mental notes.)
