Okay what if Anakin decided to paint Ahsoka's markings onto the 501st armour right after she leaves the jedi order just to piss off the council and to publicly symbolize the fact that Ahsoka always will be with them and a part of them. The 501st were immediately on board and for Ahsoka to meet the 501st later with her markings on their helmets before the entire mandalore siege maybe on the holonet or accidentally seen it in person might've been really emotional for her.

Anakin yelling: YOU WILL ALWAYS HAVE A FAMILY HERE.

Like they always say Anakin has attachment issues that is true but he did let Ahsoka go to find her own path and place in the universe while also being there for her when she needed him...so..I love them your honor.

I just fucking love Anakin shoving one the council's biggest mistakes onto their faces over and over again everytime they call the 501st for aid, assistance and backup they will see Ahsoka's markings everywhere.

They gave him a child, took it away and that probably left him in shambles. I wish there were more episodes of Anakin grieving her loss or Obi-Wan feeling guilty yet again for not being able to stop it from happening or Rex and the 501st missing her dearly.

Edit: okay but Rex with his painted helmet on and Anakin gently caressing and tracing Ahsoka's markings will live inside my head rent free.

Anakin is afraid to lose Rex too and maybe this scene mentioned above happens before a mission and as he is tenderly touching his helmet he says "be safe out there"

listen. i know it's not 2014 anymore and i know it's just a throwaway line and that the russo brothers didnt intend for marvel action blockbuster captain america the winter soldier to become the tragic gay love story that never was but man. having steve say "it's kind of hard to find someone with shared life experience" in a conversation about romantic relationships right before the bucky reveal is so cruel. it's not just about steve and bucky obviously having the shared experience of being "out of time," it's the fact that they've both been stripped of their humanity in opposite directions. steve is a legend, he is an american hero and a national icon before he is a human being the same way that bucky is a weapon and a killing machine before he is a human being. steve knows that anyone who falls in love with him in the 21st century fell in love with captain america first, and that's just not him. but then the one person who knew him first and knew him best and loved him (not captain america, that little guy from brooklyn) so much he died for it is alive, impossibly. and it's a miracle because he's back and it's horrific because he's back under the worst possible circumstances. but to steve, the winter soldier is worth tearing the world apart for because he's always been bucky first. they find each other and suddenly they're human again. and maybe, despite it all, being "out of time" becomes a blessing, because in this century they'd finally be allowed to love each other the way they've always wanted to. like real people do.

like. no. the captain america trilogy isn't about two queer men traumatized and alienated by war and modern life rediscovering and reclaiming their humanity through their love for each other. but. i mean. it couldve been

I think something a lot of people kinda gloss over when talking about Gale and Mystra is how exactly Mystra chooses her chosen (ha.)

She picks them based on who's most dedicated to learning the weave. Who's willing to go the furthest in the pursuit of magic and power, and to understand the we've the best. This is how she had a Lich as her chosen for a while.

(Something to note: Mystras alignment is Lawful Nutral, not good. So, you don't really have to be "good" to earn her favor.)

In this context, Gale begging and pleading with her to give him access to "forbidden" magic was exactly in line with what she wanted from a chosen. It's a behavior she herself cultivated within him.

Him going to find this "lost part of her" to impress her makes absolute sense, she ENCOURAGES adventure in order to better understand and utilize magic. He did everything (to his knowledge) right.

And instead of helping him the first time he messed up, she casted him to the side like an unwanted and unloved toy. One she absolutely had the power to help, but just chose not to.

i feel like being a guy who loves fighting so much while living in a sugar plum soft world gets really boring (outside of the occassional intergalactic threat) if you feel the need to beat up a gorilla 30 fucking times. like what's the deal man? are you getting enough enrichment in your enclosure? do you wish you were in dark souls? could you maybe leave the local wildlife alone for a bit?

thinking about lilia having a small collection of lip balms with different flavors, so he can play a little guessing game with you.

it acts as a way to tease you. if he's feeling specially playful, he'll only give you a quick peck before asking you about the flavor, giggling because he knows it wasn't enough for you.

if you guess wrong, the fae will give you one of his most dramatic sighs before leaning in to kiss you again, properly this time. if you guess correctly, you're still getting another kiss, as a reward.

now, it may be a silly game, but lilia gets what he wants: kisses, and your attention. he wanted nothing more than to have you in front of him, focusing on nothing else but his lips, and waiting for another kiss.

plus, this way he also gets to know which flavors you like the most! what better way to reward you from time to time for being such an amazing lover than giving you a kiss with a taste you enjoy? besides his own, of course.

if you're interested, he'll ask you to be the one choosing the flavor, and he will guess! but don't even think that he won't play with you a little.

instead of just a kiss, lilia would lick your lips. his tongue tasting the lip balm ever so slowly, before pulling away only for him to tell you that oh, it seems that he still isn't sure! so he does it again, until your lips are bare.

bites are also a thing. after he teases your lips with his tongue, he'll leave a small bite before guessing. and his answer is always correct, so he demands a reward.

in the end, the little game would be forgotten, the lip balms abandoned on the table as lilia tells you about which taste he likes the most.

turns out, his favorite flavor is you. and how about you? is he your favorite flavor? if so, he'll make sure to give you a taste as often as he can.
