*You can save the ones you find useful for your gaming style and if you don't have a stream deck at least you can take some ideas for your saved outfits 🥰

How to set up your Outfit Hotkey on the Stream deck.

Step 1: Drag the Multi Action button to your deck, click the new action button, then click on the Content arrow

Step 2: Drag two text actions and a hotkey action from the System dropdown menu.

On the first 'System: Text' type a "/" in the Text box like shown in the image below. This will trigger to open the Roblox chat box.

Step 3: In the second "System: Text" you'll need to type: "/e saved outfit name" For example: /e schooluniform

Check on the Press Enter after message box.

This will prompt an emote attempt so it won't appear in chat to others but it will prompt the pop up window to wear that saved outfit.

Step 4: In the "System: Hotkey" button you need to click on the Hotkey box and press the "Enter/Return" key to assist the Step 3 process, so it runs smoothly. For some reason the "Press Enter after message" checkbox wasn't working on Roblox so adding this step fixes that issue.

And there you have it! Now you can set up your saved outfits to hotkeys in the Stream Deck and save a little time without having to type or remember the names of your fits! Just click YES when the pop up window appears 💗

Important Notes:

This trick seems to work only on public servers for some reason. It might be a glitch for me idk, but I do want to mention it so you are aware of this issue.

The limit of saved outfits is different for everyone, and it is influenced by how detailed your saved outfits are as they take more data space. If you want to be like me and have an outfit for different classes my advice is to use only what's necessary in that outfit. I ran into trouble due to this reason; my saved outfit limit was capped at 22 so I made a few adjustments and was able to increase the limit to 25 as of now.

Most of my fits had invisible wings so I could always use them in flight class but since I no longer need that bc having the hotkey button makes changing more quickly I removed my wings on all my fits except flight class and elemental fit.

If earrings or other accesories are not visible due to hair, sleeves, etc. take them out. Body glitter also counts. Halos too, we do not need to wear halos on every single outfit.

Combine outfit slots if necessary. In my case, I had to eliminate Home Ec. fit and decided to wear just regular uniform for that class too. We still don't have it available, so we really don't know what we'll need. I also removed the Sunset Island slot since that one always changes and now I use the dress form icon for the purpose of having a basic, bare outfit that I can build upon with the given theme.

mat: matsuo took a CAD class in college with a professor who was very much on the cool young person end of the professor spectrum. there was a lot of chill-out time where students were just working on designs or hanging out while waiting for the laser cutter to finish, etc, and he got to talk to this professor way more casually than he had with any other educators before. they had a lot of shared interests, and it was nice to have someone who seemed to excited to see him. but like halfway through the semester he started feeling weird about it and switched to doing more of his work outside of the classroom. he's gonna look back at this after a couple of months of being out and wanna slap himself; like, you fuckin idiot you had a crush on him

kaz: first is his senior year hs english teacher. he didn't talk to her about all the shit he had going on but she could tell he was in a bad place, and she did a lot to encourage him to actually go to college and hype him up about the work he was doing. in college his archaeology 101 professor took a shine to him right away, and she ended up being his mentor throughout his time there, hooked him up with connections to digs looking for hands, had him be her TA for a couple of years, etc. unfortunately didn't make up for his shit grades in other courses, or the other various points of failure that've led him to working 2 shitty unrelated jobs

mat: he sees the same doctor, it's just easier to schedule that way. mat does his annual exams and gets all his shots like a good boy. he does lie about how much weed he smokes though

kaz: kaz literally only ever sees a doctor for emergencies/urgent care shit or std tests. he doesn't care who he sees, it's whoever is cheapest without insurance. he doesn't have a gp or do annuals or anything bc he feels fine and they're just gonna tell him to stop drinking, which isn't happening

3. Does [x] drink coffee? If so, how do they take it?

mat: yep, usually black. he likes dark strong coffee. someone should buy him an espresso machine. sometimes he gets a cappuccino or a latte if he's like hanging out with someone at a coffee shop, to have smth more substantial

kaz: yeah, he kind of likes shitty watered down drip coffee best, tbh

mat: nope

kaz: broke his arm once as a dumb teen. don't drink and ride dirt bikes. lucky it was only his arm!

mat: just about any time he's had a group project for school or work, lol. mat wants shit to just be done, so he'll do extra work for no reward, even if he knows that's stupid and he should just speak up. even if he's doing the work for ppl he hates that he knows would never do shit for him.

kaz: one time he let a girl he was hooking up with stay at his and jaimie's place when she got kicked out by her roommates, even though he knew she was volatile and too into him. i mean, she was homeless, wtf, was he gonna not let her stay? lucky for him the only valuable item he owned was a shitty thinkpad, and a lot of his shirts look cooler with tears and burn marks. jaimie is still mad about this - she stole her fucking antique jewelry box!! he didn't even really like her!!!

6. Has [x] ever witnessed something that fundamentally changed them?

mat: 100% had a week or two where he was miserably obsessing over actual gore videos in middle school. this probably made him worse. but also he was outside in the golden hour at a music festival in the woods on shrooms once, and the beauty of the light through the leaves probably made enough of an impact to fix that a little bit

kaz: kaz has seen so much awful shit, it would suck for everyone to list it all out. it does mostly steel his resolve to be good to other people and to never touch harder drugs tho so i guess good changes idk

First, DBB is a school of villainy. They want to bump out good villains (sorry Lloyd) that are actually SMART and KNOW what they're doing.

So! I think these would be the Core Classes they would teach. (Grade 9-12)

9- Algebra 1 & 2 | Algebra is the base of many classes, and like I said, most villains have brains.

10- Statistics & Probability | Honestly, Statistics & Probability is really useful in your day-to-day life. For villains, they would need this for basically everything.

11- Pre-Calculus & Calculus | Pre-Cal & Cal is the base of a lot of advanced classes, and in this list, there are a lot of them.

12- Engineering | Villain would USUALLY build their own things. Even then, engineering is a good skill for a villain.

ENGLISH:

9- Lit/Comp | Decoding different types of literature. OR puzzles and such.

10- Humanities | Learning the rise and falls of Empires, ancient languages, and such.

11- Rhetoric | Learning how to think critically and write efficiently to persuade. For a Villain, this is a key factor.

12- Debate | Using what you learned last year to communicate your point of view to others. In a villainy context, knowing how to win arguments is important.

SOCIAL STUDIES:

9- Government | Learning that your government is fucked up. Learning the origins, development, and structure of a government. In the context of Ninjago, whatever its government is they will learn (as well as other types of governments).

10- Sociology | Studying social, political, economic, diversity, religion, crime, etc. Basically studying society in every good and bad way.

11- Economics | Learning about the economy and policies. For A villain, this would be pretty damn important.

12- Psychology | Learning about the human mind. Manipulation 101.

SCIENCE:

9- Biology | Studying life processes and how organisms live in their environment. The only reason I put this one down is because it's a base class of other things that would be useful for a villain.

10- Chemistry | Studying atom, molecules, and their interactions. For a regular villain, this isn't really needed. But it's background information for classes.

11- Physics | Studying everything in physical existence. This Class is needed for engineering and other thing.

12- Forensic Science | Crime scene investigation and reconstruction. Learning what went wrong and how to prevent it.

All these classes are really advanced, but you have to think about the teachers in Darkley's. (Literal Skeletons) and their dumb dumbs. This could be used as an AU of some sort but honestly, I just got hooked on the idea of Darkley's Boarding School being an efficient school with actual classes that kids can learn to be villains.

Random OOC ramble about Kiraq

I wanna rant and ramble about this, so suffer.

So for starters, the plural and singular is Kiraq. They speak Galactic Common Language (which is just a slightly older form of English) and Kiraqian as their main two forms of communication, and in their universe, they are one of the most respected and feared species, second to humans and a few mindless predators only.

Despite them being one of the most powerful species in the galaxy, there are only about about three hundred thousand Kiraq in total.

They do not do names, they have a number identification system to keep them all in track. And the numbers all mean different things. All Kiraq are selectively bred and trained, not cloned, but similar. DNA is taken from every Kiraq and stored in huge vats, that DNA is carefully selected from and used to create new Kiraq when they need more. Kiraq are not familiar with concept of training, throwing their young right into training and brainwashing.

The lower your number is as a Kiraq, the more important you are.

1-100

These numbers are saved for Kiraq that are deceased but worthy of remembering, only the numbers up to 68 are used currently, and every hundred years or so, there's a new one added. 1 is the Kiraq that established their current society, 2-68 are a series of heroes that died wiping out different species.

101-108

These are the Council, which are 8 Kiraq that are selectively bred and engineered to be the smartest of the species. They're kind of weird. They're life span is planned out and they are protected explicitly they can reach the coveted age of 200, which is when the next Council will be ready to take over after selective breeding. If a Council member dies early, the space is left blank until the next set of Council members complete training. No more than 2 Council members have died early.

109-111

The three Elders. These are the three oldest Kiraq, besides the Council, and they use their wisdom of age to benefit the species and society. If an Elder dies, They're replaced by the next oldest Kiraq. They Elders are usually about 150, most Kiraq don't live over 100 because they're killed by other species.

112-9,999

These are the Breeders, the one that are in charge of breeding the next generations. I have to fix the script I posted to reflect this.

1,000-5,999

These are the Kiraq Agents. Out of the whole species, they're the ones with the most difficult and hard training.

They are essentially spies, sent on solo missions to report, fix, break, or punish other species. 6,031, the Kiraq on this blog, is an anomaly because she was selectively bred to be an Agent but she got demoted so much, she slipped her ranking down. However, it is illegal for a Kiraq to pick or get assigned a new occupation, so she's the lowest ranking Kiraq Agent in history.

6,000-99,999

These are the Scientists, aka inventors, explorers, etc. They create all of Kiraq's tech, they log new species and one of them is a member of the Galactic Database, they record Kiraq's history, they cure diseases and serve as doctors as well. They plan cities, and they handle providing rations to other Kiraq, and keep ships running smoothly.

10,000-99,999

These are lower class soldiers known as Hoardes, they are trained to fight in large groups, destroying whole planets.

100,000+ (the max number is around around 300,000, but never exact)

These are the Masses. Basically slaves for physical labor.

Kiraq are widely known to not feel fear. This is a falsehood that most Kiraq believe. Kiraq are absolutely capable of feeling fear, and the Council are the only ones that know this for a fact.

The lie is reinforced by brainwashing and training. Most Kiraq that exhibit too many traits of fear to an enemy or admit to being afraid to an Elder or Council member are locked up to cleanse the species.

However, it is illegal for one Kiraq to kill another. So these afraid Kiraq are stripped of their ID and called Nameless, and are held in individual cells until they die or until the Breeders have fixed them.

Breeders are allowed to do experiments on Nameless, though only the Elders and the Council are aware of this. The experiments are meant to fix the Nameless of their fear, when in reality its just purposely traumatizing them until they give in and act more normal. Only a handful of Nameless survive and get reintroduced to society with a new ID.

OCTOBER 2023 MEDITATION LOG

this was inspired by an assignment in my english 101 class. it prompted us to watch/read some mainstream articles/vids about meditation and try meditating for 3 days in a row, then write about it.

Fri, Sep 29    1:05am           Watched the Light Watkins TedX video. Interest was piqued when he said that meditation brings a deeper rest than is possible in sleep. Then he went on and on about the difference in biological age when you meditate. Excited to try more rigorous meditation schedule. Meditated 1:35-1:45am, was really nice. Came close to falling asleep a couple times, I am very tired. Felt grateful to be living in the city hearing rain sounds on the street.

Sat, Sep 30   9:01pm           Took a break from anatomy notes & electronic music to meditate 10 mins. Had a hard time keeping my mind off [redacted]. The things that were difficult then would be easier now that I’ve matured and relaxed a bit. But [redacted].

Sun, Oct 1     10:38am        Tried to do 10 min meditation during AA meeting but had to poop after like 4 mins. Did 10 full mins after meeting ended. It’s easier in the mornings, but I can feel I have lost the groove to a large degree. Still, morning meditation is simpler. By the evening my brain is usually in full pleasure-seeking mode. Mornings I’m usually reeling a bit from soreness and stiffness.

Mon, Oct 2    8:45pm           Did 10 mins sitting up. It’s wild how my body is aware that it’s tired but my mind ignores it, until I try to meditate sitting up and have to fight off sleep over and over. Maybe I should turn in early tonight. When I was awake, I was releasing thoughts about food and women, as usual. Laughed a bit to myself remembering how excited [redacted] was to find the “hidden veggies” pasta recipe on TikTok.

Thu, Oct 5     12:28pm        Had been sinking into phone-greyout, scrolling haze, absolute oblivion, and needed a break. 10 min meditation was the only thing that could work. Counted breaths for most of the 10 mins, after english prof. explained during class that counting breaths is the important part of '20 breaths' meditation. It def helped during 10 min meditation. Leg pain was distracting so toward the end started stretching a bit. Feel refreshed and ready to sit down for some studying before work.

Fri, Oct 6        11:52am         Watched the Andy Puddicombe Ted Talk. I liked his analogy about knowing you have a loose tooth and continuing to mess with it even though you’re in pain. Meditated for 10 mins. Feel less overwhelmed about how many things I need to do this afternoon. I’m calmer and more apt to work through them in an organized manner without resorting to distractions. Thought about what to say to [redacted], thought about doing dishes and stretching and listening to new Drake album and taking anatomy notes and making a doctor’s appointment. Tried to recenter and focus on breaths a few times.

Thought about my plans for the day (going to NYC to have dinner with my aunt), thought about my mom and my grandma, thought about the family counselor Dr. Prakash who taught me to meditate in 4th grade. Used breath counting to help 'let go' of thoughts and return to quiet mind.

Mon, Oct 9    9:50am           Meditated during morning meeting but was kinda drifting in and out of sleep.

                        8:45pm           Went to [redacted]. It got kinda intense but [redacted]. Decided to decompress by meditating together for 10 minutes. It was beautiful and memorable.

Tue, Oct 10   2:10pm           Read ½ of NYT meditation article then set 10 min timer to meditate. Lots of thoughts running through my head, I can be so obsessive about personal stuff. Was good to have a break from that, even though I didn’t really want the break, I wanted to keep obsessing. Post-break though, I feel better. Body is really sore since I’ve gotten 17k steps, two days in a row. So before the 10 mins were up I got out of my chair and started doing some stretches with eyes closed. Love combining stretches and closed eye meditation. Definitely feel better now, and my 'mindfulness muscle' is getting a tiny bit stronger each day. I find it easier to return to the centered calmness of counting breaths.

Thu, Oct 12   10:47am        Meditated 10 mins after morning meeting. Really out of the groove today but tried to just count 100 breaths. Thought about chopping wood for work, about sex, about being messy in romantic relationships, about stretching after meditation, about the kid in my math class who seems to be following along better than anyone else.

Sun, Oct 15   2:01pm           Took a break from studying anatomy to meditate. Was sort of fighting off sleep part of the time. Said simple prayers to ask for God’s will to be done, and to discover what that will is. Prayed also for a loving and generous spirit in my heart.

Mon, Oct 16  11:00pm         Meditated 10 mins after looking at Twitter/Reddit for ~3 hours. I think I need to try 15 or 20 minute meditations because sometimes I find myself totally distracted and overstimulated for more than half of a 10 minute meditation. That was the case this time. At some points I opened my eyes and just stared at the wall to keep from thinking about downtown Montreal, or applying to a Master’s program in 5 years, or how I had a bad attitude at work the other day.

Tue, Oct 17   12:14pm        Been feeling emotionally unhinged lately, lowkey lashing out at people. Trying to redirect. Meditation is a good starting place. Meditated 10 minutes and had to stop myself over and over from planning out my day. How much time will I spend in the restaurant working on prep? How much time on schoolwork? Will I have time to pick up a cleaning project? Could I meditate for 10 minutes on the clock? Who will I see there and what will the vibe be when I talk to them? Used breath counting to reel in some of the thoughts. Asked God for help. I have a long way to go toward being centered, organized, disciplined. Please, God, help me make some progress today.

Thu, Oct 19   10:30am        Meditated in morning meeting. Feel at peace with my life, with who I am and where I’m at, with my propensity for anxiety, for mistakes, for seeing things through a distorted lens. I’m gonna keep learning and I’m gonna be okay.

Fri, Oct 20     10:30am        Meditated in morning meeting. Had trouble staying quiet mentally. In the meeting we talked about the 'confusion' that exists without a spiritual connection. Thought about how meditation and confusion are like exact opposites. Lot of confusion and noise for me lately. Meditation must be one of the main solutions. Not just meditation but a meditation practice. Prayer as well, I need more of that. Talked about meditation with my sponsor later. He recommended I try the 'toes-to-head' meditation.

Sat, Oct 21    9:00am           Made coffee then meditated for 10 mins before meeting.

                        9:45am           Meditated for 10 mins in morning meeting. It felt good to get more time in. Would like to do one longer session but 10x2 was easy and felt very calming.

Sun, Oct 22   9:30am           Set a timer and laid on yoga mat to meditate for 10 minutes. Said a prayer for my mom and grandma, who are going through a difficult time. Had to keep returning to baseline as I kept fantasizing about sex with [redacted], who I’ve been texting. Sex is a constant refrain for my tired brain, I think I’m subconsciously convinced that there’s some simple relief there. But intellectually I know it’s never that simple, relationships are complicated and usually come with more stress than being single. Important to talk myself down from these underlying desires.

Mon, Oct 23                          Didn’t meditate. Busy day, but I think I need to start finding more time. It’s possible to replace some of my phone-scrolling time with meditation every day, sometimes I just don’t do it. This log is helping me stay accountable and showing me what I need to change to meditate more.

Tue, Oct 24   12:45pm        Meditated 10 mins laying on yoga mat. Was really able to start calm with deep breaths, maybe because I was laying down. Often I start with a hectic mind and try to calm it for the first 5 mins.

Trying to spend the day doing work, chores, service to others, or meditative things like prayer, listening to spiritual talks, walking. There are two main Language branches in India, the Vedic Sanskrit that give rise to mostly northern language branches like Magdhi (Odia, Bangla, Assamese/Axomiya, Bhopuri), Hindustani(Hindi, Urdu), Pahari(Nepali), Maharashtrian and SO MANY MORE IF I WERE TO LIST NORTH INDIAN LANGUAGES ID BE HERE FOR AGES.

4. South Indian languages emerge from the branches of Proto-Dravidian. The branvhes that i can list from the top of my head are Central Dravidian (Telegu) Southern Dravidian(Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada) and Nothern.

My Hero Academia: 101 how to start

For people who want to try to get into MHA but don't know where to start! I will talk here about the manga and how the anime adapts it, but also an order to read all the spin offs and watch all the extra content.

Just now that the main canon story is just the manga, so if you want to start and try... I recommend simply reading the manga (or watching the anime) and avoiding for now any extra content.

I also added links for translated drama cds, extra chapters and the Ultra Stage adaptation (the musical).

THE MANGA (vs anime)

The anime is a pretty loyal adaptation of the manga, almost scene for scene in most cases, with no plot-decisive changes, and mainly little scenes added. S1, S2, S3, S4 and S5 also all have a one added anime-only exclusive episode with some small storyline.

The manga is currently at volume 36, and every 10 chapters (more or less) we have a new volume announcement. If you are reading in English, the manga is published by Viz and the publication is about 3 or 4 volumes behind the Japanese release.

If you keep up with each new chapter you will be able to read them for free here as soon as they come out, each Sunday. Each Sunday it is a new chapter, which on twitter is usually tagged as #MHA+chapter number, but leaks are out usually on Wednesday or Thursday, so be careful of the spoilers. On twitter you can follow DabisPoleDance, RukasuMHA and Justixplode if you are interested in reading the leaks for the weekly chapters.

ANIME, OVAs, MOVIES

As said before, the anime is a pretty accurate adaptation. The first season covers about 3 volumes. The second season up till volume 8, the third season up till volume 14, the fourth season up till volume 20, the fifth season up till volume 26. The fifth season also covered the arc known as My Villain Academia and focused on the villains, but ended up reducing it in size so many people will reccomend you to read the manga too.

For the watching order of anime, OVAs and Movies, this should be accurate:

Season 1 OVA 1: Save! Rescue Training Season 2 OVA 2: Training of the Dead OVA for movie 3: All Might Rising Movie: Two Heroes Season 3 up till episode 15 OVA 3: Make It! Do-or-Die Survival Training Season 3 up till the end Season 4 Season 5 Movie 2: Heroes Rising (at any point in the middle of season 5 or after season 5 even, as its placement is a bit confusing) OVA for movie 3: Departure Movie 3: World Hero Mission (can be watched after the teaser at s05E16 or after season 5) OVA 4: Hero League Baseball OVA 5: Laugh! As if you are in Hell! Season 6

The OVAs are not necessary for the plot as they are extra anime-only stories. The movies are technically canon, given that some of the characters appear in the anime and in the spin off manga.

DRAMA CDs

Each anime dvd boxset (Japanese version) comes with some small audio tracks of extra stories that can be enjoyed alongside the episodes. For example, when the class goes to the forest camp in season 3, the dvd set has an extra track (in the drama cds) about Ochako and Tsuyu being enthusiastic.

These drama cds are only in Japanese, but thanks to fan translators some of them can be found in English, or have summaries. I made a list here.

This is not technically canon content, just anime-only added content, a part for the first drama cd which was a manga special.

OTHER ADAPTATIONS: THE ULTRA STAGE

The MHA manga has also been adapted into a stage play/musical. There are currently 3 stage plays following the story of the anime and manga pretty closely up till the middle of season 3. You can find the titles, actors, how to buy them and more information here.

MANGA SPIN OFFS

There are currently three manga spin offs, two of them are complete, one is still ongoing. All mangas are licensed by Viz in English, so the information I give is based on that, but if you speak another language you might have earlier release dates. I will write the list in chronological (from older) order:

a) Smash!! - this manga is a parodic retelling of MHA. Nothing in it is canon as it is simply a serious of one page/half a page sketches that retell the story of MHA up till season 3, more or less, changing a lot of the plot just for the sake of comedy. It has 5 short volumes.

b) Vigilantes - this is a prequel of MHA, it has 15 volumes and it was recently concluded. It tells the story of a new character called Koichi. It also has some chapters about Aizawa's time in high school, Present Mic, and some Midnight. One chapter is also about Mirko.

c) Team up mission - this is a series of volumes (volume 4 recently came out in Japan, volume 3 is coming out soon in English) about class 1a, with some appearances from class 1b, other students, some pro heroes and even some movies characters. The stories are all set in season 5, and each chapter is a self-contained extra adventure. For example: one chapter in volume 1 was Ochako, Deku and Bakugou working together at a work-study. Another chapter in volume 2 was about Monoma and class 1a etc. The series is still ongoing.

d) Movies special manga: Each movie is usually accompanied by a short manga that introduces some characters or elements. These are not fundamental.

Movie 1 has "Volume Origin" which contains a prologue for the movie, a small story about All Might and some character extra files. Movie 2 has "Volume Rising" which contains extra files and a story that introduces the villains of the movie. With Movie 2 there was also a new special two chapters called "Deku and Bakugou rising" (part 1 and 2) which came out, but luckily they were added to the Team Up Mission mangas so can be found in those volumes. Movie 3 has "Volume World Heroes" which contains some extra stuff and a chapter that introduces Deku, Bakugou and Todoroki leaving for the mission. This chapter is called "Hawks: Soothe" and was actually adapted into the OVA for movie 3 called "Departure" (word for word adaptation, basically). There was also a special one chapter that came out for the movie, called "Endeavor's Mission", which introduces the trio accepting the mission.

These volumes are particularly hard to find in English as they are usually specials given to people who buy movie tickets in Japan, but if you want to read them it is more convenient to search for the title of the chapters with plot, so "All Might Rising" (movie 1), (movie 2) "League of Villains: Undercover", "Deku and Bakugou rising" and (movie 3) "Endeavor's Mission" and "Hawks: Soothe".

NOVELS

MHA has a series of novels called School briefs. Each novel also usually has about 4 or 5 illustrations. Each chapter expands on a certain manga scene or add some additional adventures.

Each novels add extra scenes to the manga arcs that they cover. You can find the list here, but just as a way to choose when to read them:

School briefs 1: can be read just after the Sport Festival and Stain (as it has spoilers for them), so just after volume 6.

School briefs 2: it is set in volume 8, so before volume 9 events.

School briefs 3: is set between volume 13 and 14 (it has spoilers for the first chapter of volume 14)

School briefs 4: it covers some events of volume 18 to 20, so it can be safely read after volume 20

School briefs 5: It has some elements of manga volume 26, so it can be read at that volume.

School briefs 6 is not out yet, but knowing the plot is is also set up till volume 26, so nothing of the events of volume 27 and onwards will be in it.

The movies also have novels as adaptation (written after the movie). Movie one has Two heroes. My Hero Academia the movie novel but I could only found it translated it in Italian. It is identical to the movie Two Heroes and only adds a final epilogue (I translated it here among other parts of the novel). The second movie has a novel adaptation called Heroes: Rising. My Hero Academia the Movie. I will receive it soon and add translations of any extra from the movie.

EXTRAS

BNHA also has two extra information volumes that presents characters, extra data, small interactions between them and also a small short story in the first volume (an omake called "The Depth", which is set after volume 8 of the manga):

MHA also has some videogames, mainly the pc games One's Justice and One's Justice 2 which are fighting games with a little bit of story covering up till volume 11 more or less.

There are also currently two android phone games that do not really have a story but are mainly battle/collecting characters. One is MHA: The strongest hero and the more popular one is called My Hero Ultra Impact. The second one is more popular because it adds small events where the characters interact (ex. they go to a festival).

There is also a battle royale game called My Hero Ultra Rumble. None of these videogames add any canon material.

Because I hate myself, I decided to go to the effort of compiling as much lore as I could extract from the hosts (exclusively from The Ride since it’s way more linear) because a lot of it was cool and I didn’t assume there would be so much.

Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

I do (but - to be honest - it takes me FOREVER). I love comments. It’s so much easier to not leave comments than leave comments, so every time someone leaves one I’m blown away. I feel like - for leaving me a comment - you’re definitely owed an answer! I do apologize that it takes me awhile though - I am very bad at answering because they mean a lot to me and I get easily overwhelmed by the AO3 inbox I don’t know why. Blame anxiety. 

What's the fic you've written with the angstiest ending?

I’ll be honest, I don’t like angsty endings so I don’t have many of them. By far the angstiest ending I have is Flowers, Lies, and Forgiveness. This is a Bianca Davri/Varric Tethras fic set during the final act of DA2. I wrote it from Bianca’s POV - showing Varric unraveling under the pressure of Kirkwall and Bianca’s complicated feelings about infidelity to her husband who clearly cares about her as well. I wrote it for @hollyand-writes who always lets me lean into the tragic “fucked upness” of the pairing when I’m feeling like making Varric suffer.  

What's the fic you've written with the happiest ending

I prefer happy endings so almost EVERYTHING has a happy ending. My favorite endings, so far, are for Cheating the Dread Wolf, which is my Varric/Cadash/Solas polycule (or as I like to refer to it - Solas has a dwarf kink) and The Viscount’s Mistress which is my Hurt/Comfort Cadash/Varric Trespasser bullshit. 

Do you write crossovers? If so, what is the craziest one you've written?

I have not written crossovers - but I am very into AUs in another setting that belongs to a different fictional universe. Most recently I got back into my Downton Abbey bullshit and wrote Flappers for Fen’harel which is basically a Downton Abbey AU Solas/Cadash and I’m not taking comments about the outrageousness of it. 

Have you ever received hate on a fic?

Yep. Honestly though? Over the two years I’ve been active in Fandom, the shitty comments can be counted on one hand and usually came from the same people over and over again, who are easily blocked, and should stop seeking out clearly labeled content they don’t like. Me and my work are not for everyone - that’s REALLY okay. I’ve blocked people for no other reason than making things I don’t like - that doesn’t mean they’re bad people. 

Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

GOD DO I.

I am extremely sex and kink positive. Because of this - a lot of my work involves sex in some way or another. I think sex is a beautiful part of many (although not all) relationships, and that it’s frequently glossed over in mainstream media (particularly queer, kinky, and polyam sex). 

This ranges from sort of vanilla slow burns (My Cole/Bea fic, Compassion for an Assassin, has smut which hasn’t been posted yet. It’s Cole’s first time and is fairly vanilla and romantic, and occurs approximately 40k into the fic) to some pretty dubious consent near 24/7 dom/sub dynamics with BDSM kinks (I’ve written JUST as much of the Sereda/Gorim problematic smut as @jarakrisafis has in our series Forced Moves). 

There’s very few kinks I’m not willing to touch at least to try out - even if I end up not liking them. And the ones that aren’t for me are 100% allowed to exist and I will fight for them to the bloody end. My only recommendation is CLEARLY labeling your shit and not being afraid to add a tag if someone asks you to.

I’ve seen ideas I’ve tried on picked up by other people - but I don’t consider that stealing and it’s hard to trace “who has been inspired by who” because we ALL have been inspired by thousands of other people and frankly more stuff for me when I pull you over to my weird AUs and rarepairs. 

I also think that’s a huge part of not getting stolen - I’ve got so much weird niche shit that only a couple people read that stealing from me is going to most likely be caught IMMEDIATELY the audience is so small. 

Have you ever had a fic translated?

I don’t believe so!

Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Yes! I’ve got some co-written secret smut with @blarfkey which almost nobody has seen, I’ve borrowed @tightassets Hawke, Lavellan, and Shepard for fics that she has illustrated, borrowed @tuffypelly‘s Adaars for some great fics, and my most ambitious project - the Forced Moves series with @jarakrisafis. It started out as us just exchanging gifts back and forth but we’ve wrangled it into Gambits and Countergambits, an Aeducan-origin prequel, that I’m VERY proud of. 

I love co-writing very much, but it’s very important to find the right partner and for it to be someone you trust completely. 

What's your all time favourite ship?

This is a stupidly hard question because I am, at heart, a multi-shipper. 

I love Varric/Hawke and Varric/Cadash. I’m also a sucker for Solas/Cadash. My fandom pool noodle is Varric/Cadash/Solas which I adore, and I’m very fond of Cole/Cadash. 

Most recently I’ve been DEEP in Aeducan/Gorim Saelac, Bhelen/Rica/Vartag, and Aeducan/Brosca feels. Dwarf origins are the best origins in my opinion and those characters are PERFECT. 

What's a WIP you want to finish but don't think you ever will?

I fully plan on finishing everything. My writing style changed a lot, for the better, in a short period of time. I need to integrate my old style/new style and had to get a pep talk about how to do that. Now I’m ready to try as soon as I finish Compassion for an Assassin. 

What are your writing strengths? 

I write very sexy, hot smut. I also really like playing with character voice and making sure I get them “right” so I do a lot of experimenting before publishing a new character for the first time. 

I struggle to write action scenes - it’s like pulling fucking teeth - but people really LOVE my action scenes and they read well. So that’s something I’m proud of even if it feels like doing fucking pull ups. 

What are your writing weaknesses?

I never learned anything. My experiences with English and writing teachers were overwhelmingly negative. I’m unsure if I’m just not cut out for classes or if they were that bad, but I always left feeling like there was one “right” way to do it, and everything I liked was “bad”, so what was the point of “learning” anything? 

It turns out there’s this very pompous, pretentious thought process in writing where people “assume” things must be done, but GOOD writing teachers teach you the rules and then how to break them. I either never had a good writing teacher or got too intimidated to give them a chance before bouncing. 

So I’m exceedingly self-taught. I lack the vocabulary to discuss plot structure, characterization, grammar, etc. I instinctively know most of these things based on trial and error and reading, but I didn’t learn them and I miss a lot of nuance in the rules, but until recently I was still too intimidated and unsure of myself to admit that or take it seriously. 

So - my defense mechanism is NOT taking ANYTHING seriously. If my writing is a joke to me, it’s gotta be a joke to everyone else, but that’s been a shield to hide behind instead of being thoughtful about things. I’m here to have fun, yes, but there’s nothing wrong with learning a technique to the art. 

I’ve learned - mostly thanks to @blarfkey who is an amazing person and a wonderful teacher - that I am a good writer based on my self-teaching. And being intimidated of people who throw around impressive sounding words is a weakness that I am working on. 

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic? 

Use sparingly and with good reason. It should be short and explained later or clear from context. 

What was the first fandom you wrote for?

Harry Potter on message boards back in the fucking day. Thankfully none of it exists anywhere anymore. 

What's your favourite fic you've written?

This is such a sappy answer and I’m so sorry. My favorite things have been written for and because of people I love and care about. When I read them, I’m not just reading the story, but remembering the relationships I’ve made and how important they are. 

So, my top three fics for THAT reason: 

1. Cheating the Dread Wolf - written for @blarfkey who inspired the idea and ruthlessly encouraged me to make it happen. This fic was so healing for me because it heavily features Fatherhood within it - and I lost my father in June 2020. I don’t know if I’d have been able to do it without her and it was so important for me to do. 

2. Gambits and Countergambits - written with @jarakrisafis and the culmination of a years worth of gifting shit back and forth and crafting a shared universe. The worldbuilding, smut, relationships, EVERYTHING about this fic is so deeply and passionately cared about by both of us and to our knowledge it is completely, totally unique.  

3. Relentless, Ridiculous, and Rakish - one of my only primarily gen-fics focusing on a forming brother/sister relationship between Maria Cadash and @tuffypelly‘s Otsar Adaar. I very much enjoyed writing it for her <3 

And then my overall favorite fic: 

The Viscount’s Mistress: I have a lot of opinions about how fanfiction treats the anchor’s meltdown and the aftermath. It’s one of the things in DAI that resonated with me SO much as someone who lives with chronic pain and a disability. I loved the fact my OC was in the same shoes and STILL saving the world. This is very much a fic that explores all the dark sides of trauma, pain, and the mental health effects of it. But it ends on a happy and hopeful note.

Hey, so I graduated this past May and since then I've just been working 40 hours a week. I feel like I need to go to college to do something with my life but I feel like theres so much in my way and I havent done anything to even start and I dont have a clue what I'd want to do. I'm so unsure on how to do anything regarding financial aid or even applying to colleges. I'm also worried that it wouldn't work with my schedule for my job. I work 5 days with 2 off days and I'm on evenings so I feel like I wouldn't be able to balance work and school, but I would have to bc I'm my only financial support. Sorry for the dumping my problems, but any advice?

How To Do College 101

Congratulations on your graduation! Working a full-time job after graduation (during a freaking pandemic, no less) is no small feat either, and I applaud you for that, too. Once upon a time, I was like you: I didn’t know anything about college except that I wanted to go, and now I run a blog telling people how to go to college. College might be strange and unfamiliar now, but in time, you will learn how to do it! 

This might be my longest post, so strap in for a fun ride!! My answer comes to you in three parts:

How To Do Community College

How To Do University

How To Do Financial Aid

P.S. I’m going to say this only once, but feel free to ask why: Do not attend a for-profit college. Okay, now onto the basics!

How To Do Community College

I encourage you to read my Ode to Community College. Community colleges are real colleges designed for people who are low on funds, are working or have other responsibilities, don’t know what they want to study yet, and/or don’t know how college works yet.

Step 1: Applying

Community colleges accept anyone who applies, and the application is usually just like filling out a job application, but you will also need to send in your high school transcript, and I recommend sending any test scores. Your college may have you take a placement test to see if you’re ready for college. If you’re not quite ready, they may have you take some pre-college courses in English or math before you officially start a degree program.

Step 2: Choosing a Degree Program

Among other things, community colleges award associate’s degrees, which are essentially the first two years of a bachelor’s degree at a four-year college or university. You’ll take introductory classes like English, math, science, and social sciences, as well as electives (i.e. fun classes). Here’s a list of programs that might be offered at your community college.

Step 3: Taking the Right Classes

Make sure you stick to your college’s degree plan so that you take classes that 1) count toward your associate’s degree and 2) will transfer to a university. Most classes you take for an associate’s degree (AA, AS, or AFA) should transfer to a bachelor’s degree (BA, BS, or BFA) easily enough, but sometimes universities aren’t very transfer-friendly. The best option is to transfer to a university that has a partnership with your community college, which is information you should be able to find on your community college’s website. If your community college doesn’t have any partners, you’ll want to research the transfer policies at the universities you’re interested in and follow their guidelines on what classes to take.

Step 4: Transferring

In your last year of community college, you will apply to a four-year college or university for your bachelor’s degree. You’ll need to pick a major when you apply because for the next two years, that’s what you will be studying. Make sure you tour the university before you attend and get acclimated before your first day! 

How To Do University

Whether or not you attend community college for the first two years or enroll directly into a four-year college or university, you’ll want to understand how to navigate the basics as early as possible.

Step 1: Exploring Your Options

Use my Self-Reflection Toolkit and this quiz from Marquette University to explore potential majors. These are just meant to get you thinking and guide you as you learn more about yourself and your interests. This process will take time to research and figure out, and if you enroll directly into a four-year college you can change your major after you apply. As I mentioned, the first two years are mostly basics and figuring stuff out, so either way you have time. 

I was very bad at choosing colleges to apply to and applied almost at random. I learned a lot from those mistakes, and on my FAQ page you’ll see me trying to impart that wisdom on others. I recommend doing your research, going on virtual tours, and getting used to just looking at college websites, even if you don’t know what you want yet. Start by window shopping for colleges in your state and see what they have to offer you. College Board also has tools for finding a college that fits your needs. It’s worth starting as early as possible, and I know that you can do it. Like I said, I was really bad at it and I still made it through.

Step 2: Applying

Applying to a four-year college will take more steps than a community college application. Many colleges require letters of recommendation, essays, and application fees (look on their websites for fee waivers). More information is on my FAQ page, of course, but be prepared to complete these steps before application deadlines. Each college sets its own deadline, but if you want to go next year, you’ll likely need to apply by January or February. Applying can be daunting, but you will need to do it at some point, even if you go to community college first. 

Step 3: Finding Resources

Access any and all resources your university offers, which will include advising, counseling, career services, and more. The same is true at a community college, but I would argue it’s even more true at a university. You might find out about internships, research opportunities, fun events, and all that stuff that excited you when you saw it on your university’s website! Even if you don’t feel like you need resources, you’re paying for them, so you might as well use them! Often people won’t know how to help you unless you tell them you’re struggling, like how you told me what you’re going through and I wrote a post that’s turning into a short novel! (I’ll be done soon, I promise.)

Step 4: Taking The Right Classes

Just like at a community college, you want to make sure you’re taking classes that count toward your degree and interest you. Make sure you’re following the prescribed degree plan on your university’s website and communicated by your advisor. If you find that you’ve chosen a major that doesn’t fit your interests, make sure you speak with your professors, your advisor, and anyone else whose opinion you trust.

How To Do Financial Aid

Step 1: Understanding The Basics

There are three major types of financial aid: loans (money you have to pay back after you graduate), grants (government money you’re awarded based on your financial need that you don’t have to pay back), and scholarships (money from a college or other source that is awarded for any reason that you don’t have to pay back). Loans might come from the government, your college, or a bank. I recommend borrowing from the federal government because the interest is so low (basically, it’s cheaper to pay off than a bank loan).

Step 2: Filling Out FAFSA

If you want to go to college next fall, or if you just want to do a practice round, fill out FAFSA now. I’m assuming you’re under 24, so you will need your parents’ tax information even if they’re not going to help you pay for college. Filling out FAFSA will never, not ever ever ever require you or your parents to take out any loans. Rather, FAFSA gives you access to any need-based financial aid you might be eligible for, whether that aid comes from the government or not. Loans agreements are a totally separate form, and you can take some loans without your parents’ help. If you’re not eligible for FAFSA, check whether your state or college has its own FAFSA alternative.

Step 3: Reading Your Award Letter

After a college sends an acceptance letter, they will also send a financial aid award letter. The letter will show you how much you’ve been awarded in scholarships and grants and how much you can take out in loans from the federal government or the college itself. You should compare your financial aid amount to the total cost of attendance, will you can find on the college’s financial aid webpage. The total cost of attendance is how much it costs to pay for tuition, fees, housing, and a rough estimate of your other living expenses. Basically, it’s how much it costs to be a student for one year.

As you said, I wouldn’t expect you to be able to work 40 hours while maintaining good grades, so may need to be frugal and creative to fill in any gaps financial aid didn’t cover. Private colleges tend to have a really big “sticker price,” but may offer generous scholarships as discounts, whereas public colleges tend to be cheaper and may have (large and small) scholarships to help you pay.

Step 4: Applying

In addition to the scholarships that you may be automatically awarded if you meet certain criteria, your colleges may also have scholarships that you have to apply for by yourself. This information will be located on a college’s financial aid webpage. There are also scholarships from nonprofit organizations and businesses. Visit my resources page for info, ask people you know if they’re aware of any scholarships, ask your boss and coworkers, and ask Google for “scholarships in [your town].”

Okay, I threw a lot at you, but those are the basics as I see them! You can totally do this. It’s going to be a big learning curve, but the payoffs will be big. And you can always come back here for more advice and reassurance. I’m proud of you already for thinking of your future and doing what you can to support yourself and your learning.
