Chapter 42.

A new sunny wonderful morning. Outside the window, the voices of birds and the rustle of leaves could be heard, which was occasionally stirred by the wind. Soon it became even warmer outside, because the wind had subsided, and there was even more comfortable and joyful vibes on the street...

At this time, Bendy, having cleaned all the rooms, went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. After a while everything was ready, and Bendy came out of the kitchen to call the others for breakfast. Entering Lara's room, the demon noticed his beloved standing near the window and watching the scenery outside. Bendy came closer to her and, hugging her tightly, said, "Good morning, Laura!... Did you sleep well?..."

"Wonderfully..."

"Glad to hear... Then maybe we'll go to the kitchen, have breakfast?..."

"Okay, I'll be right there..."

"Whatever you say, honey... I'll call the others..."

Soon everyone gathered in the kitchen and had breakfast, talked a little on various topics. After that, everyone went back to their rooms. The imps were reading interesting travel-related magazines, and then Bendy saw some impressive and stunning places...

"Larry, look at what interesting and amazing places are depicted here!..." he exclaimed and smiled. "So many interesting plants and natural landscapes..."

"Really nice places..." she answered, looking at them.

"If you want, we can go there with friends!... Any day you want..."

"I don't even know when I would like to go..."

"How about today?... Such a sunny warm day outside, I think the weather is also good in those dimensions where these natural landscapes are located..."

"Then let's go..."

"As you wish, sunshine... I'm going to ask Boris and Alice to come with us..."

Bendy went out into the corridor and went to the mechanic's room. Entering there, Bendy saw Boris and Alice fixing some parts, talking.

"Alice, I promise, when we're done, we'll do whatever you want..." Boris said.

"I hope we'll be free soon..." Alice replied.

"Of course, pumpkin, we're almost done..."

"Maybe I can help you?..." Bendy asked.

"No, you don't need to..." Boris replied, going over the details. "We are already at the 'finish line'."

"All right then." Bendy looked at the mechanism that needed to be repaired, and continued. "When you are free, you can go with us to amazing and very interesting places... Lara and I have already chosen where exactly we will go..."

"Great, then we'll join you when we are done," Boris answered and looked at Alice. "Do you want to go, right?..."

"Of course, I'll be glad..."

"Okay, we'll start packing later... We'll meet the hallway after we're ready."

"Agreed," Bendy smiled. "We're going to get ready now, too... See you soon!..."

Bendy left the room and returned to Lara's room. He saw her leafing through a magazine and smiled.

"Love, our friends have agreed to go with us, so now I'm going to pack the right things..."

"Okay... Will you take some collections of sudoku?..."

"Of course, Laurie, I was just going to take it... I think it'll be interesting for us to solve them there... Although, with you, any activity becomes excellent and impressive... Because you are very interesting and wonderful creature..."

"Thank you, Bendy, you too..."

"Thank you very much, dear..."

Bendy hugged Lara tightly and kissed her on the cheek. Lara smiled and Bendy, seeing this, beamed with happiness. After that, he went to his room for a backpack. He entered Lara's room and began to collect her things and accessories, watching what she was doing. Soon all the stuff were collected, the devils were ready to go. They went out into the corridor and, seeing that Boris and Alice weren't there yet, discussed a little what they would see very soon.

A little later Boris and Alice also went out into the corridor and saw Bendy and Lara.

The friends went outside and saw how wonderful it was in their garden: the sun shone brightly on the foliage of trees and other plants; the voices of birds could be heard from afar; the wind sometimes shook the vegetation.

"Oh, what a wonderful landscape opens up in our garden!..." Bendy exclaimed. "Such a wonderful sunny day..."

"That's for sure..." Boris replied. "It's marvelous here too..."

"We'll find time to admire our natural landscape later. Now we should go..." Bendy said.

The friends walked a little further and stopped. Bendy snapped his fingers - and they all immediately moved to the right place.

The view so amazed and surprised friends that for a while they just looked at such a wonderful landscape with admiration, a smile on their faces. There were fields of bright colors of different shades everywhere: in the first row they were lilac, in the second - pink, in the third - yellow, and so on. There were trees of the most unusual and pleasant colours: pale blue, purple, light orange and some other wonderful shades.

"Wow, what an astonishing landscape!..." Bendy exclaimed. "So many delightful, incredible plants are gathered in one place..."

"Spectacular..." Lara said. "What unusual colors the plants have..."

"Yes, such a place is really worth visiting, more than once..." Alice noticed.

"Sure..." Boris chimed in. "We have never seen such a magical place..."

"That's why we went here," Bendy replied and smiled. "Let's go a little further, see what else is exotic here..."

Friends went a little further and discovered bright interesting flowerbeds with different flowers behind the flower field. As pals approached, Bendy picked a bouquet and, looking tenderly at Lara, said, "For you, sunshine..."

"Thank you..." Lara replied and smiled.

Bendy also smiled and hugged Lara carefully with one arm. Boris also collected a bouquet for Alice a little later and, handing it to her, said, "To you, Alice... When we leave this place, you'll have flowers as memories..."

"Yes, I think they can be planted in the garden later..." Alice replied.

"I think so too... By the way, Bendy, I forgot to ask what's the name of this place?..."

"It's called the Valley of Flowers, the rarest and most amazing types of flowers grow here." Bendy explained.

"Yes, there are really a lot of interesting plants in this place." Boris replied.

"The atmosphere here is so cozy and calming." Alice supported.

"It's nice for me to walk here..." said Lara.

"I'm glad you like it here," Bendy smiled. "Then we can walk here for a while longer, and we move to another superb, splendid place..."

The friends continued their journey through a bright field dotted with flowers. Soon the guys reached the trees of the most interesting and beautiful shades, and Bendy said," What magnificent trees!... All the leaves are painted in such wonderful colours..."

"Yes, I haven't seen such trees yet..." Boris was surprised.

"Maybe because we haven't been to such enchanting places yet. Although, we've been to different impressive dimensions, of course..." Bendy replied.

"Perhaps it's time for us to go to another dimension?..." asked Lara.

"Yes, I'd also like to go to the next place..." Alice said.

"What are we waiting for, then?..." Boris smiled.

"The next place is called the Cote d'Azur." Bendy said. "The whole coast will be covered with sea flowers and plants. So, let's go take a look!..."

Friends returned back to the field of flowers and teleported.

The view was quite fascinating, charming: the bright blue sea glittered azure and blue in the sun and was surrounded by plants of unusual shapes and colors: some of them resembled corals; others were like violets. The sand on the shore was golden in color, there were many beautiful shells.

"Wow, this place is also impressive and excellent!..." Bendy exclaimed, looking around the shore and the sea. "We'll to come closer to explore all the plants..."

Pals headed closer to the shore and soon discovered miraculous plants; what was most exciting, they all seemed solid in appearance, however, friends felt the buds were liquid once guys touched them. This surprised and delighted my friends immeasurably. The magicians noticed a few more phenomena, which hugely surprised them.

After a while, Bendy took chairs, a table and a beach umbrella out of his backpack.

"Maybe you want to get some rest...?" asked the imps. "Meanwhile, I'll cook you lunch."

"Okay, thanks," Boris replied. "A little rest wouldn't hurt."

Soon the friends had meals and continued to do various interesting things on the coast: Boris began reading articles in the newspaper; Bendy collected shells for his beloved; Lara and Alice drew new outfits in their notebooks. After a while, the friends decided to swim in the warm transparent sea and had so much fun.

Evening came. Darkness covered the surroundings; the friends discussed what a magical day would stay in their memories. Boris remarked, "Of course, everything was wonderful today, but we should go back to the studio... And tomorrow we'll continue our journey..."

"Why return home?... We have tents and a lot of interesting collections of sudoku for tonight..."

"Well, then we'll stay," Boris smiled.

"Let's have a cozy evening here!" Bendy replied.

The devil set up tents, and friends began to solve sudoku and other puzzles. Since Bendy finished solving any sudpku in the collection earlier than the others, he helped Lara solve her puzzles. Soon guys, after talking about various interesting topics, went to their tents.

Boris and Alice were talking about the passing day.

"Alice, did you enjoy today?... Or did you want to visit a couple more places?..."

"No, no, I liked everything... Today was a wonderful day..."

"Great you think so... I think it's time for us to go rest... Good night, darling..."

"Good night, honey..."

Boris kissed Alice on the forehead and she smiled.

Bendy and Lara talked about various topics for some time, and then the young man said to the demoness, "Lau, I'm very glad you liked everything about today... This is the most important thing... Tomorrow we'll see even more extraordinary, fantastic places..."

"I think they'll be wonderful as well... Thank you for today's trip, Bendy..."

"Anything for you, my precious... Glad you're and our friends are happy... Princess, would you like to go to bed now?..."

"Yes, I would..."

"Then let me cover you... Good night, Laura..."

"Good night, Bendy... Tomorrow we'll see even more fascinating places..."

"Of course, sunny... Sweet dreams to you..."

Bendy kissed Lara on the cheek. Soon they fell asleep, and the dark blue sky covered a wide horizon...

The next morning, Bendy woke up first and, seeing that Lara was still asleep, smiled and watching her, wondering what dreams she might have had... Soon the imp woke up, and the demon said, "Good morning, Lara... What dreams did you have today, princess?..."

"Wonderful... And you?..."

"Also magical... Would you like to have breakfast now?..."

"Of course..."

"As you wish, dear..."

Bendy came out of the tent and began to prepare breakfast for Lara and the others. Soon Boris and Alice woke up. They, like Lara, smelled a pleasant smell, and then Bendy called them for breakfast. They ate and talked a little on various topics. Then Bendy started packing things into his rucksack.

"Now we can go," said the imp. "The Alley of Bushes awaits..."

"I hope we'll visit Cote d'Azur again some day..." Lara said.

"Of course we will, honey!... We always come back to such wonderful places, and we really liked it here..."

Friends walked a little further from the blue coast and, looking back, smiled. Then they moved a little further away; Bendy snapped his fingers - pals immediately moved to the right place.

The alley was spectacular, goregous: all the leaves on the bushes were of the most exotic colors and shapes, looked like flowers. However, the magicians didn't notice the flowers themselves in that dimension - everything was dotted with shrubs, near which several trees grew.

"Oh, what a marvelous dimension!..." Bendy exclaimed and smiled. "So many wondrous shrubs here, all the leaves look so much like flowers..."

Pals approached the plants and looked at the shape of the leaves of each bush - they differed considerably.

"Oh, there are even leaves in the form of stars..." Boris was surprised. "Interesting..."

"Yes, and these leaves are very similar to rose flowers! ..." Bendy smiled. "How peculiar..."

"Enchanting bushes..." Lara said.

"That's for sure. We haven't seen anything like them yet." Alice replied.

Bendy noticed that Lara liked the bush with lilac leaves that resembled lilies the most, and he collected a bouquet for her from those very leaves.

"This is for you, Larry..." Bendy said, giving her a bouquet. "It doesn't consist of flowers, but hope you like..."

"Of course I do... Thank you..." Lara answered.

"Glad it brought you positive emotions..." Bendy smiled. "Dearie, it's delightful we went on a trip, isn't it?... We have already explored so many excellent, brilliant landscapes..."

"Such an amazing adventure..."

"And most importantly - you and our friends liked all the places... And we learned a lot of interesting things about them..."

"Thanks to your stories..."

"I'm telling a lot of new and impressive things in order to brighten up your day..."

The imp bent his head to the girl's face and kissed her on the cheek. The devils joined others and continued their walk...

However, soon it was time to go to a new place. The friends looked around the bushes and started walking in the opposite direction, back.

"What a wonderful place..." Bendy said, smiling. "We'll definitely come here again!... The next place we're going to is called the Field of Light - all the plants there are made of some elements."

Bendy snapped his fingers - the guys teleported. And they began to examine the view around...

Hmm, I really don't know. I have my usual things that would qualify but my "obsessions" but they don't often consume me to a high degree, so I have a hard time dubbing anything I like a full blown obsession. 

That being said, it's probably tiktok. The obsession of the moment, I find myself on the app entirely too much because it's just a fun party and oh the things that lead to little research dives are fascinating. Mostly it's the musicians that get me. I love creativity and am forever amazed by the collaborations and straight magic people make in the time allotted... but it takes up way too much of my time when it really shouldn't. I have better things I could be doing. 

3. Ever done any drugs?

Yup.

None. My ears are pierced to the degree I like and I don't really desire anything else to be pierced.

6. Describe your dream home.

The house I live in outdoes anything I could possibly come up with. I'm very happy with my home, but I'd be happy most anywhere. If I'm honest, I'm a bit Aladdin-like when it comes to living arrangements. My dream home list, if I only considered myself, is the very low bar of a roof over my head  that has a beautiful view. Bonus it has a pool but it's not a requirement. 

Clearly, where I live outdoes that by a longshot and I'm very lucky to have the things I have. I'm not unaware of that fact. 

7. Who are you jealous of?

There is no way for this not to sound like a humble brag in my head, but no one. I've never been the jealous type. There's so much unnecessary energy in wanting what someone else has and jealousy is a negative you just don't need in your life. It's much better to focus on your own joy and not worry about what others are doing.

Maybe? But probably not. I don't particularly like my name. It's kind of dull, if I'm honest, but at the same time it's my name and I don't have a replacement in my head for it. So, I'm Sara and I'll forever be Sara. It's alright.

I already answered this, but I suppose my general obsession is pokemon. I like the games and the lore. The whole thing is fun and I enjoy it a lot. 

21. Describe your best friend.

She's like sunshine. She's bubbly and sweet. Anna has optimism for days. She can be a little naive but people also see naivety in what is actually her stubbornness. She won't give up on people even if she should. She sees good in almost everything but she isn't unaware that bad exists.

And because of this her kindness shines. She'd help a stranger without hesitation or a need for anything back. She very much is a person who would stick her neck out to save a life. She brings out the best in people and makes it look effortless. She is kind and caring but has a determination that can tackle damn near anything that becomes an obstacle. Anna's a force to reckon with and not many people realize this truth.

It's getting warmer so, right now, it's an evening with Nikolas on our back patio. Fire up the grill and enjoy a meal outdoors. Maybe spend some time in the pool. End the evening with a warm blanket and a cuddle.

Summer. My skin may take issue with the sun but I like it best when it's warm and sunny and being outside.

When I am listening to music… I probably don't want to talk to you. Leave me alone. I do not like when I'm interrupted when my music is on. 

Also, if I'm doing art or sewing … be aware I might get snippy if you choose to interrupt my flow. I like reaching stopping points before I'm asked to change gears.

Probably Jakub. He's the king of one liners and his sass gets me.

I dislike questions that make me feel like I'm bragging. Or that could be seen as such but my wardrobe wouldn't really change because my boyfriend allows me to use his funds from time to time to have the nicer clothing items I like. Which sit right alongside my jeans I got from TJ Maxx. Legitimately, it probably wouldn't change at all.

Cold brew or if it's cold I typically, latte it's usually a hazelnut

True crime documentaries or horror movies. I do not watch them often. Nikolas isn't into it and I'm not going to be the ass that takes the tv and makes him watch something he doesn't like. So, I save it for when I am alone.

I have but I don't seek it out. Typically the erotica I have read has been tucked away in a romance novel and was far more than I expected it to go from the synopsis or anything before that point.

I have to go with the one where it was clear he asked me out as some sort of revenge date. His ex-girlfriend was at the location with friends and he kept looking over at her trying to see her reaction. It was bad and I dismissed myself as quickly as I could.

Again, I don't know. I know it's mostly friends and artists or designers but I'm too lazy to look up the number because I don't care.

Kombat Krew Summertime Headcanons;

For one brief moment, the UK had some sunshine, now it’s gone back to raining and being windy. I blame Brexit. So, I wrote these whilst it was hot and finished them when it was pissing them down. The price I pay for living in the North and having beautiful landscapes, nice water and friendly locals; is that the weather will always be shit. I also went overboard for Kabal. As per.  Warnings; Little NSFW, 18+  so it’s under the cut. Kano. But it’s a shitpost. Swearing, fluff, angst, all the usual shit.

Kabal;

·         Just like his mom used to say, ‘Suns out, guns out’ He will literally wear little to nothing. The littlest bit of sun, and he’s already stripped down to shorts and a vest. He’s used to the heat and fucking loves it.

·         He will take you on cute dates. Walks in the park, late night walks through the city, him driving an hour to get to the best places that sells shakes and ice cream. He’s down for it all.

·         He loves that it doesn’t get dark till later on, it means if he’s working a late shift, he can still spend a fair bit of time with you.

·         Summer means his bike comes out of the garage. He loves nothing more than to go for a long bike ride on a Sunday. He’ll sometimes go a bit quicker, just to make you wrap your arms around his waist tighter. But your safety is his priority.

·         Cute. Fucking. Picnics. He can sort of cook, but he’ll love to just lounge about with you… then turn into making out with you.

·         He’s deeply into PDA, he just thinks the world needs to know of your love for each other. So, he’ll always have an arm around you, taking selfies with you and just generally being cute as fuck.

·         Will rock up and take you to lunch. You can go wherever you want.

·         Swimming is on the table. He’s more into teasing in the water.

·         At night you’ll have to forsake cuddling for hand holding. If it’s too warm to cuddle.

·         He’ll let you play with the AC. He’s easy.

·         Most of the above is Pre-Burn. Post-Burn is a lot different.

·         He hates his body and doesn’t want to overly show it off in Public. It’s different on Missions but in terms of casual wear. He’s going to suffer through the heat.

·         So, for the sake of him, you stick to cool places or stay at home.

·         He prefers winter now. And at first, he won’t take as many selfies with you, but that will change once he feels more confident.

·         The body thing won’t change, people can be cruel, and he doesn’t want to put himself or you through that.

·         He’ll still sit half naked at home once his confidence has returned.

·         His skin is also much more sensitive and can burn very easily. So, he has to stay in if it’s too warm. Or else it will feel like he’s on fire again.

·         So cold baths and cold showers are on the table. With a little bit of teasing and a whole lot of body worship.

Sub Zero (Kuai Liang);

·         What. Is. This. Fresh. Fucking. Hell?

·         He hates this. He fucking hates it. It’s why he doesn’t visit Hanzo a lot. Or leave Arktika. Because he hates it.

·         He won’t let on how much he hates it. No. He tries to suffer in silence, but you can tell by how uncomfortable he looks.

·         Whilst he doesn’t melt or feel the heat overly, he is affected by it a fair bit. If it’s majorly warm, then he’s going to mildly be uncomfortable. That, and he has hay fever.

·         When he wakes up with scratchy eyes, his throat on fire and he looks like he’s just been punched. He knows summer is here.

·         He does like that you wear cute clothes in summer though. It does bring a smile to his face, and if you’re happy then he can live with the uncomfortableness.

·         He grew up with the cold most of his life. So, he never really got experience summer. He never really got to experience much outside training to be honest.

·         So, you’ll get to introduce him to fun summer things to do. All whilst he’s worrying about the Clan because Bi-Han is in charge.

·         He has a sweet-tooth, so the fact you can both divulge in that pleasure is great. He’ll love to share his ice-cream with you.

·         He also likes how cuddly you get in summer. How you cuddle up to him at night, press his hands against your face, neck, back, stomach etc. He is now your personal air conditioner. And he now understands Jonny’s joke.

·         He doesn’t mind. He just wants to be close to you and feel close to you. So, he feels content with this. He’ll only feel comfortable doing it in private however. PDA is not his thing.

·         At night, he loves that he finally gets to spoon you. His once cold hands that woke you up, becoming a relieving comfort. He wants to be close to you. He’s so touch starved and now he gets all the touch he wants. Even deep within the night.

·         Kissing him as more refreshing than all the lemonade in the world. His mouth feels cold, and breathing him in, is like breathing in cold air.

·         He’ll also be more inclined to lounge around with you with his shirt off, so you can lay on his chest, back pressed firmly against him. He’s getting to keep you cool and be close to you, and you’re getting the same. He sees this as a win, win situation.

·         He knows summer makes him uncomfortable, not so much so its unbearable, he still has a human side. But you make it all better for him.

Scorpion (Hanzo Hasashi);

·         Summertime, unlike Sub, does not bother him in the slightest. In fact, the Shira Ryu Fire garden is in full bloom. Everything looks scenic and majestic as fuck. He has to admit he’s low-key relaxed.

·         Training and meditation outside happen more so for him. He detests the cold. He’ll stand with a big coat on in winter. But Summer, he can relax, and everything feels so much calmer.

·         He’ll love to take you on walks through the garden. Pointing out various flora and fauna. Telling you the Japanese names of all the flowers.

·         He’ll also be more inclined to take his food outside and sit with you. The both of you sat in peace, enjoying each other’s company.

·         The cool summer breeze will occasionally blow hairs from his man-bun, letting them cascade and frame his face. Which makes him seem less gruff and stubborn and softer.

·         Night times with him consist of a lot of tossing and turning on your part. He’s warmer than average. Which means when it comes time to cuddle, he’s making you warmer. ·         He would love to go to something like a museum or an aquarium. If it’s warm and sunny outside, he wants to go out and experience all there is!

·         He can swim but not well… so you stick to shallow waters at first, before swimming a little further out. Nothing above waist height. He’s loving it.

·         Whilst he is a Demi-God, nobody else seemingly notices. So, he will sneak a few kisses here and there.

·         He’ll love exploring the city with you, trying new food and sitting on rooftop terraces. He will ask lots of questions and also compliment you a lot.

·         Loves camping and will always take you camping when he can in summer. He’ll tell you all the stories he knows, you’re unsure which are made up and which are true. You don’t want to know because the excitement is in the guessing.

·         He’s lived a long time, and can you tell you anything you want to know.

·         At night if you cannot sleep, he will maybe, just maybe, if you bat your eyelids enough, conjure up a breeze to keep you cool. Not so much you’re cold but more of a comfortable breeze. Now you can both cuddle when you fall asleep.

This year's winter had been particularly harsh with temperatures going far below zero, so low that if one wasn’t careful enough with reading them correctly they would have believed they were in the middle of a hot summer's day. Thankfully the days became warmer come March but with it the micro dust came, making breathing outside close to impossible. And then the spring rains came, washing away the fine dust in the air and clearing up the sky.

Spring was finally here and you and your boyfriends couldn’t be happier about it. Your dates lately had become rather boring, alternating between movie nights or board game nights with the occasional fancy dinner thrown into the mix. Of course there had been also some date highlights, one can’t forget about your trip to a local ice rink in late December or that one time you decided to take a day trip to Jeju Island in early March which ended in all of you coming down with food poisoning from eating expired sushi, safe for Seokjin, who had found the restaurant ‘sketchy’ from the beginning (it had been a hell of a week for him following that trip, having to clean up after seven severly sick grown-ups).

But in the end, your dates had become rather dull for everyone involved and all of you couldn’t be more happy when the weather forecast for this Saturday promised warm sunshine and clean spring air.

So two days later, and after a very long discussion where exactly your long-awaited outdoor-date will take you, the eight of you are standing in the middle of the local zoo, a big grin on each of your faces.

Jimin has pulled you close to him, his arm wrapped around you protectively and his fingertips softly caressing your arm. You are currently watching a flock of pink flamingos getting fed. Their feathers resemble the current hair color of your boyfriend, a soft cotton pink which glows in the bright sunlight.

You look up from where you had been watching a baby flamingo try to get food into its mouth when an amused giggle suddenly rings through the quiet air.

Namjoon has found his way to your side, his dark sunglasses and grey facemask nearly covering all of his face.

"It's nothing special. I just read it somewhere online", he mumbles shyly, scratching the back of his neck.

"I think it's fascinating", you assure him, reaching out and intertwining your fingers with his.

"Well, then I am happy to tell you another fact. The plastic lawn flamingo was invented by the artist Don Featherstone in 1957 and it took him around two weeks to finalise his design", he finishes his statement with a proud nod of his head.

You smile, finding his habit of babbling about the most random facts ever adorable. You really love it, especially because it gives him that childlike glow on his cheeks. But before you can lean over and press a loving kiss to his face you are interrupted by Seokjin suddenly resting his chin on your shoulder.

"Guys come on let's go somewhere other than these boring birds", he whines with pouted lips.

"They aren't boring", Jimin retorts, sending Seokjin an annoyed look.

Seokjin shrugs his shoulders, snaking his arm around your waist and giving you a gentle squeeze.

"After having to stare at them for more than ten minutes they are getting pretty boring. I want to see other animals too, dangerous ones."

"Dangerous ones?" you ask, raising your eyebrow in question.

Seokjin straightens himself up before he nods, smiling brightly. It makes his cheeks puff out, a soft blush rising on his skin adding to the overall cute appearance of him.

"Yeah I want to see snakes or spiders or even better wolfs", he babbles excitedly.

"Why not pot-bellied pigs hyung? Don't you miss your relatives?" Jungkook throws in, breaking into wholehearted laughter the minute the joke left his mouth.

Seokjin gasps in shock, his eyes becoming three times their size.

"You dare to call me a pig? Me? Now listen here Jeon Jungkook, this was too much. You will come back here and pay for your actions", he nearly stumbles over his words from how fast they leave his lips before he finally gets into full sprint running after a fleeing and cackling Jungkook.

The rest of you follow after them, all of you either laughing at Jungkooks joke or at the funny imagine of two grown man chasing after each other like two little children. Everyone safe for Taehyung, who had already wandered of again to snap some pictures of a cute little monkey he had spotted right next to an acacia.

"Kids these days", Yoongi mumbles and despite his judging tone he has a fond smile on his lips.

"Just wait until one of them trips and seriously hurts himself", Hoseok says with actual worry in his voice.

"They can handle themselves don't worry. Just let them power themselves out for a little more, so naptime will be extra quiet later", you joke, cracking up Jimin.

He laughs loudly, clutching onto your arm and burying his face in your hair. He really looks adorable like, his cute behavior enough to send a fond smile to your faces.

"You are so funny guys", he stutters out between laughs, rubbing at his eyes to dry his tears.

Soon both Jungkook and Seokjin return to your sides, they are both panting and whilst Jungkook has a shit eating grin on his face, a big pout had formed on Seokjins.

"You good again?" Yoongi asks, smirking amused.

"We're good. We stumbled upon some cute meerkats and made up in honor of them. Right hyung?"

Seokjin hums, nodding his head.

"They were really cute. They had their hands like this", he says, raising his arms to his chest and letting his hand tangle down, "and then they had this cute look on them", he continues, opening his eyes as wide as possible.

He looked adorable right now in his oversized sweater that goes over his hands and his big eyes staring at you, and you can't help but reach out to cup his cheek.

"Cute", you giggle, caressing his skin.

Seokjin lowers his eyes, his ears turning bright red. He turns away from you so his back is turned to the rest of you. You know he is too shy to show the rest of you how much your compliment had affected him. But before you can tease him any further Taehyung returns to your side, calling the attention of all of you.

“Guys listen, guys oh my god!” he already screams from far away whilst running to you. He has a big boxy smile on his face and his big metal-framed glasses have slipped down the bridge of his nose, now sitting on the tip of his pretty nose.

“Why are you looking at us like you just saw god or something?” Hoseok asks when Taehyung has arrived at your side.

“Because I honestly think I just met some sort of forest god. Listen-”, he pauses to breath heavily, “-I was taking some pictures right back there at the big acacia when suddenly and now listen carefully a monkey visited me”, he pauses to breath again.

“We know, you literally told us that you want to try to take a pic of the monkey”, Namjoon says, shrugging his shoulders.

Taehyung dismisses him with a wave of his hand, shaking his head.

“I know I did but listen. I tried to talk with the monkey and at first I thought it doesn’t understand me, but then I asked it if it could pose for me underneath that purple flower I spotted and-”, he giggles excitedly, “-and he actually went to the flower and sat next to it!”

His whole face is glowing with excitement, his arms wailing around from the grand gestures he uses.

Yoongi chuckles, so do you and Jungkook, the three of you watching your boyfriend wiggle his shoulders happily in front of you.

“This sounds like a nice adventure”, Jimin states, reaching out to take Taehyungs hand into his’.

“It was magical. I am convinced that this was some old forest god that just wanted me to take a nice picture of him. I have to return to him once I developed it and hand it to him. I am sure he will be happy about my present”, Taehyung babbles on.

“Sure precious do that, I’m sure you will make his day”, you chuckle, reaching over to ruffle Taehyungs blonde hair.

Suddenly both Seokjin and Yoongi gasp loudly, startling the rest of you. Your heads snap around to search for the source of their obvious change in mood, expecting to find a group of fans storming to you. Expect you can’t spot anyone and you look to your boyfriends in question.

“Yoongi-ah are you seeing what I am seeing?” Seokjin asks with a big grin.

“Sure as hell I do”, Yoongi says before storming off with Seokjin following close by.

You look around to find answers in your other boyfriends faces, only to find confusion in all of them.

“Either they just spotted a vending machine that sells beer or they officially have lost their minds”, Hoseok mumbles with his eyes fixated on Seokjin and Yoongi, who are both now standing in front of something you can’t quite make out.

Soon however your questions get answered when a deep pit appears in front of you. A high metal fence with a metal net taut over it pierces into the blue sky and judging by the faint regular clicking sounds electricity runs through it. You step closer to the enclosure, holding your breath in excitement before releasing it in a loud "woow". Three big wolfs are lying next to a small pond, watching you with lazy eyes. Their fur is as black as the night and their half-lidded eyes glisten in bright orange colours. They looked majestic.

“They are huge, I bet they could swallow you whole Yoongi-ah”, Seokjin says, nudging his elbow teasingly into Yoongis side.

Yoongi sends Seokjin a quick annoyed glance before he scoffs.

“You aren’t that tall either hyung”, he mumbles with a pout on his cute lips.

Not wanting the two of them to fight you step right in between them and intertwine your fingers with theirs.

"Are you happy now that you found your dangerous animals sweetheart?” you say, looking at Seokjin to your right.

He nods before turning his face to you and leaning closer to press a loving kiss to your cheek.

“They are so cool. I mean just look at them”, overfilled with joy he wraps his arm around you and pulls you close before littering your whole face with kisses.

You giggle, closing your eyes. It feels nice being kissed by him like that. Especially in public as he isn't the type of guy who normally likes to show his affection like that. However worries about getting caught still manages to gnaw at you.

“What if someone sees us sweetheart?” you manage to get out between his kisses, gently pushing at his chest to get him to stop.

“I don’t care. I just want to show you how much I love you”, he mumbles against your skin, making you blush.

“I love you too Jinnie”, you raise your head to look at all of your boyfriends who have gathered around you, “I love all of you”, you add, looking into each of their beautiful eyes.

“We love you too”, Jungkook says, smiling fondly at you.

He steps closer before hugging you from behind, swaying both of you from side to side.

"Today is amazing I love hanging out with you and seeing all these cute animals", he sighs before closing his eyes to really savour the moment.

"I love it too", you breathe, caressing the skin of his forearm.

"As much as I love watching you guys cuddle I would really like to get to the giraffes feeding in time. I read that they always pick out two people who can feed the baby giraffes and I really want to be that person", Hoseok throws in, pointing into the direction of the giraffes enclosure.

The rest of you can't help but crack up at the randomness of his request, making Hoseok pout his lips out at you.

"Sure sunshine let's go", you say once you have calmed down enough to be able to talk again.

You take his hand into yours, intertwining your other hand with Namjoons, before starting to walk to your next destination.

general //. those who have never made the great pilgrimage to florida often associate the sunshine state with, well, sunshine. they imagine a tropical paradise where they can frolic through disneyworld, contentedly eating a mickey bar and taking wall pictures for the `gram. the reality of the matter is, florida is not the paradise that so many think it to be. and those cute disney instagramers? they thank god for face tune to hide just how fucking awful they feel. the moment you leave the orlando international airport, it feels like chuck norris became the human embodiment of heat and punched you in the face. while there are occasional periods of reasonable temperatures, they are punctuated by a lot of rain and devestating heat and humidity that leaves many a newcomer experiencing this lovely thing called heat stroke. let us dive further into florida's imaginary "seasons." hurricane season //. hurricane season runs from june the first to november the thirtieth. it is during this time that florida's weather is the true embodiment of hell's front porch. on a normal day, temperatures can range anywhere from the high eighties to the low one hundreds with humidity that leaves things feeling like it's twenty degrees hotter than they actually are. those that have keyless start up for their cars are thankful during the summer time, as they can get the a/c in their car going before they get in. for the plebs that do not have those privileges? they have to hachachachacha their way into their car and start the car and get their seatbelt on without burning off all of their skin. and for those of you with leather interiors? you're basically fucked. june and july are certainly hot, but they're not unbearable. morning time is reasonably comfortable, and you can almost certainly guarantee that there will be an afternoon rain storm sometime between the hours of 1PM and 4PM. the period fo time in which it rains varies, it can be anywhere from downpouring for fifteen straight minutes or raining light enough to be an inconvenience for four whole hours. it is a truly floridian thing to place an umbrella into your car, and then to never actually use the umbrella because it rains so frequently that you give up on lugging the umbrella everywhere. during the more dramatic of thunderstorms that occur during the summertime, the thunder can get so intense that it can shake houses and apartment buildings. roads will flood, and everyone will mysteriously decide to turn on their flashers and drive thirty miles over the speed limit on the interstate. because for being a state where it's always raining, nobody actually knows how to properly drive in the rain. most of the tropical storms and hurricanes that form in the atlantic end up affecting florida in some way, shape, or form. in instances of the outer bands brushing up against the state, it'll prompt the usual amount of rain. nothing too shocking or devestating. life will go on as it usually does. if a category 1 to a mid tier category 3 storm threatens to hit the state, floridians will rejoice as work and school are cancelled and go buy out the entirety of the liquor aisle to ride out the storm. "hurricane parties" are a legitimate thing in florida. no exaggeration. for an upper tier category 3 storm to a category 5 storm, floridians will act like it is the appocalypse and will effectively buy thousands of dollars of supplies. for those non native to florida, they typically fall into the "act like it's the appocalypse" category no matter what the level of storm is. they'll barricade themselves in their house or their apartment until after they've done the hurricane thing a few times and then it becomes normal. if you thought the heat before the rain was bad, the heat after the rain is exponentially worse. the humidity increases tenfold and you're not only wet from rain, you're wet from sweat that largely feels you leaving like a drowned rat. the worst of the florida summer is august and september. the heat and humidity can get so bad that it feels like you are venturing outside into soup. the air is thick, and sticky, and forget looking cute because you are guaranteed to have swamp ass two seconds into leaving the air conditioning. influencers and beauty gurus have to pump hundreds of dollars into luxury setting sprays to keep their faces from melting off, and frizzy haired chic may as well become a trend during this time of year. the recommendations for surviving the heat, the rain, the hurricane season? drink water. now drink more water. now drink even more water. find a hurricane buddy, someone that has grown up in florida and can recommend the best brand of tequila to make hurricane margaritas with. keep several changes of clothes and shoes in your car for the inevitable downpour, maybe consider using that umbrella for a change? who am i kidding, we all know it's worth it. and, of course, drink . fucking . water. sfall and swinter //. the end of hurricane season (october and november), and december through february be labeled sfall or swinter ... essentially, slightly less bad summer punctuated by occasional and surprising cold fronts. if the temperature drops below seventy five degrees, that is when you'll see floridians pulling out the knit sweaters, thick hoodies, and the uggs. non-floridians will question what on earth is wrong with them as they are standing their in their t-shirts and flip flops enjoying the fact that they don't feel like death for once. these tiny dips in temperature, however, will typically last all of two to four days before it spikes right back up to being eighty five degrees with humidity making it feel like it's ninety eight again. you see why it's sfall? I like smoother, plainer merino sweaters under sport coats, but for everything else, I think textured knitwear adds a bit more visual interest. One of my favorites is a cream-colored zigzag sweater from A Kind of Guise (unfortunately long sold out), but companies have new designs every season. 6. Wide Legged Pants

I’ve been on a kick with wide legged pants lately. Mine for this winter is a pair of self-belted Tomorrowland trousers made from heavy Melton wool, which I bought last year at Unionmade. 7. Tweed Sport Coats

A navy sport coat is the most versatile tailored jacket you can own, but running a close second is a brown tweed. Unlike gray sport coats, these can be easily paired with grey trousers, which are the foundation of more classic ensembles. And unlike sport coats in some other materials, the rustic nature of tweed makes it easy to wear with denim. I love simple herringbones and checks, but lately the tweed I reach for the most is a dark brown Donegal. 

8. Cavalry Twill Trousers

Cavalry twill was originally made for riding horses. It’s a bit like denim, if denim was made of wool. Strong, slightly stretchy, and surprisingly soft, it’s perfect for casual wear with country-ish coats. I bought a custom pair last year from Tailors’ Keep and have been wearing them with rustic sport coats. It can be hard to find a pair these days in a slightly more modern cut, but you can search shops such as No Man Walks Alone and The Armoury. If you can’t find anything in cavalry twill, look for fabrics such as covert cloth and whipcord -- they’re basically the same thing.  

9. Plaid Shirts

A basic building block for almost any winter wardrobe. I really like the ones from J. Crew’s Wallace & Barnes, their slightly higher-end subline inspired by vintage workwear and Americana. To be sure, there are a ton of brands for this sort of thing, but theirs are reasonably well made without costing a fortune, and they neither fit too full nor too skinny. Options can be limited each season, but it’s worth checking back with them every five or six months as new inventory rolls in. You can also find them on eBay for about $50 a pop. 

10. LL Bean Boots

Although the craze for all things prep has died down, I still wear my LL Bean boots. They go just as well with denim and workwear as they do with that Northeastern take on American style. "I-I…" she stuttered, and his eyes immediately fell to her mouth —pink as her hair, plump, teeth sinking into the soft flesh— and as distracting as the sight was, it didn't keep him from noticing her crimson drenched hand. Oh. A piece of glass was sticking out of her palm, and it looked very painful.

"Damn," he breathed, reaching to carefully inspect the cut with ginger fingers. Her skin was warm, the back of her hand smooth and soft to the touch. He would've taken the time to admire it had her injury not looked so deep. "That looks pretty serious, come on you should probably go to the hospital."

She seemed in a daze as he helped her to her feet and he was beginning to worry. His words seemed to suddenly register in her mind and she stammered, much like he did whenever the H word was mentioned. "H-hospital? W-wait, it's fine. I'm— I'm a med student."

Well, that he could safely say he wasn't expecting. "Med student?" It wasn't to say she looked dumb, but he had just met her and he could already see the way brightness surrounded her like a warm embrace. From her captivating green eyes to the shine of her almost translucent silk-like skin, to the way her hair seemed to absorb the sunlight above and become the colour of the sunset— someone like her had no business in a place as dull as a hospital.

He realised he was yet to let go of her, and from where he held her, he could see the golden tinge in her eyes, the faint rosiness blooming in her cheeks, the slight moistness of her lips— and then she was regrettably staggering out of his hold, all while nodding and insisting she'll go home.

It was ridiculous that he missed her warmth immediately— even more ludicrous that he was abruptly and inconceivably attracted to a woman he knew for the whole of three minutes. All that aside, the fact stood that her injury was raining crimson droplets on the innocent pavement, and dying her red pea coat a dull maroon colour. He couldn't comprehend how she was calmly chatting with him in her situation. "Alright, I'll drop you."

For a few moments she seemed too stunned to reply, which in itself was curious, and then her eyes slowly roamed every inch of his face like she was studying an unnatural, unworldly phenomena: his eyes, his scar, his hair, his mouth, and finally back to his eyes.
