How do you plan out your stories? Do you come up with what will happen ahead of time or do you just go with whatever your sims are doing?
uhmmm.. i don't 😆
i've recently fully planned and written a short story ahead of time and it's reminded me why i don't do it.. like the outline is fun to do and i know the end result will be too, but the in between stuff seems to take foreverrrr and i kinda get bored and hate it lmao
i prefer short bursts of planning and executing so like rn i have this lil camping trip then i think Robin will go back to school (i only have basic notes on this tho) then it'll be my Halloween special then a surprise! (again not even basic notes on this one skdjskj) then who knows 🤷♀️
i usually have a rough idea where i'm going and how character growth will go over time but how we're gonna get there i've no idea!
i don't plan ahead very far at all and even when i do it's basic notes or brain rot ideas/scenes.. most of what i come up with is just me playing dolls in my head 🤸♀️

i can’t believe how you’re getting hate/rude anon messages, i came across your blog because of in limbo and i’m in awe of how talented of a writer you are. i think people need to appreciate how much it takes to write at the level you do. i will spend time going through your other work. thank u.
i've honestly been very lucky to not receive explicit hate as much as i receive more misguided rudeness, more often than not, but that kind of comes with the whole... being on tumblr thing lmao. i have some very lovely anons (who i hope are all doing well!) so it's not all bad!
but eek, thank you so much! In Limbo is quickly becoming my favorite series to write, and i'm so glad you're enjoying it (: hope you have a lovely day/night

Were akira and tooru also orphans?
Mahiru never mentions maternal grandparents, at one point he realizes that when akira died his uncle also became alone and while it doesn't have to mean anything I did find it interesting that when they were still in school and tooru asked touma to come to his house to eat he said akira would cook for them and not their mother or father. When mahiru thinks about heroes always coming back smiling we saw a flashback of akira coming back after apparently leaving a very young mahiru in tooru's care, not with her parents.
The discussion at akira's funeral service also made it sound like the people were more extended family than close family? Where is the rest of the shirota family? Is it just them?

wild that I just saw a poll about the watcher situation asking what people expect their response to be and the option sweeping was “they won’t respond to it”. like. that would be absolutely insane. maybe a lot of people have become jaded by big corporate entities ignoring issues as if theyre just not happening (understandable) but watcher Very Literally cant afford to not acknowledge the situation. like yeah this was a very corporate-adjacent, out of touch choice they just made but they're still, in the scheme of things, Quite small. completely ignoring the backlash could/would very likely ruin their careers and burn everything they've worked for and I just don’t think that’s realistic

Kind of weird that people constantly rag on Zelda's accent and criticise Nintendo for not hiring an actual brit instead of an American VA (Which like, let me make it clear is valid criticism. I'll defend Zelda til my dying breath but I think finding the fake British accent kind of grating is fair enough). But... Sidon and his VA are literally in the same boat, yet I've never heard a peep of criticism or finger waggling about his accent or Nintendo's VA choices. Hmm

im thinking about clara’s ending, though. like, on a very self-indulgent level, i do enjoy that she gets to live (kind of) and time travel and get an immortal girlfriend to do it with. but on another level, i’m kind of curious… why? given how much emphasis this episode and the last put on how clara herself made her choice and didn’t want the doctor to go through all of this to bring her back, i mean she’s horrified by it, both for his sake but also for the sake of her own memory that was used to bring him to this point. and then, of course, the exchange at the end with Me and the Doctor, “summer can’t last forever” “it can if you have a time machine”, that is so obviously meant to be this desperate, denying plea from the doctor to a universe that can’t care about the time he wants because it doesn’t even have enough for itself to keep living, and an immortal who has all the time in the world and can’t even remember all of it, even remember herself most of the time.
which. it’s just odd, then. that the episode ends with clara getting to have that forever summer. you’d think it goes both ways, not just that the doctor can’t run forever but neither can clara. she says they’ll be going back to gallifrey eventually, but words are a bit cheap against her literally running away with the last second of her life in a time machine. (and uh. given what eventually happens to gallifrey. lol. lmao. girl no one is putting u back there ever.)
i don’t think i’d call this a criticism exactly. just a strange choice to make, that the ending there seems completely at odds with everything else Heaven Sent/Hell Bent have been about. that this grief and denial are so destructive, and to no one more than themselves. but then clara escapes through a loophole anyway.

I don't understand luktavian (luke x octavian),, likee luke hated the gods and octavian was a priest. their motives are so opposing and i always thought they would find eachother absolutely unbearable lmao. also I find the age gap slightly strange but that might just be me??

the nature of being a tougahead is laughing along with someone dunking on him like hahaha yes he’s so terrible and dysfunctional and he sucks so bad and then they’re like And He Should Die For Real By The Way and you’re like oh! ok! especially fun when someone writes a really considered and meaningful analysis of his character that youre nodding along to like ‘yes, finally a touga understander!!’ and then they end it saying that he’s irredeemable. you guys know that ‘he’s not a fucking coupon’ post? yea
