Daisy realized that she was in love with Pietro, and adorably the moment she realized was when she saw Pietro in the kitchen singing and goofing off while tossing pizza dough. There is a lot of silly unnecessary cringy nonsense in this show, but I had no notes for that scene, I 100% approved. This is quickly followed by a scene where Daisy tries to tell him (in a very similar fashion to the scenes where he has tries to tell her), but can’t work up the courage.

After trying to apologize many many times, Luan finally got through to Pixie by dropping out completely of a video game tournament they were both entering—admittedly it kind of fell into the typical trope of the genre where characters have the same argument five million times (which this show does suffer from quite a bit), but in this case it kind of worked, as it was clear that he was getting through to her little by little every time. Still not perfectly executed, but both the characters and the actors playing them have so much chemistry that I am willing to forgive many ills. And then there was this scene where he was playing guitar on the balcony and she came out and started singing with him and then he caught her by surprise and kissed her and I was just sitting there like

Also i agree with you! The ordem universe really has a lot of potential for aro and/or ace readings of sooo many of the relationship between characters. Because i feel like the experiences that come with having contact with the paranormal impact the characters and their relationships with one another in such a deep level that ends up binding them together in ways that are often hard to define but definitely always fun to explore!

Back to your fic specifically, i think you truly get the intricacies of their bond, the way you write about their struggles with both the paranormal and with their own issues aways makes me go "Yes!! Yes you get it!!" When im reading. Their banter and mannerisms are really accurate, and im also a huge fan of how you potrayed Thiago's internal conflicts! In fact, the way you write him its one of my favorites aspecs of your ordem fics...

Glad I could scratch the braincells!! This fic was a lot of fun to write, I simply adore them :D

I myself am aspec (heavier on the aro, probably some flavor of ace) so aromantic readings of ordem relationships are so special to me. And YOU. YOU get it EXACTLY. The circumstances that the characters meet each other in Ordem are incredibly distressing, often life-or-death, and highly unusual---of course the relationships that flourish out of them are going to be different from the more "typical" platonic, romantic, and familial relationships; and putting them strictly in any of those boxes often sacrifices the relationship's nuance. Thus, an aromantic/queer-platonic/unlabeled lens for analyzing the relationships can be very helpful! God I could write paragraphs on the matter (and I have, in insane late-night ramblings in DMs and discords hdskhdj) but what it boils down to is that it's care, and love, and at the end of the day, that's what these characters desperately need from each other, because the story they live in certainly isn't going to provide it for them.

Liz and Thiago are especially fun to chew on. Like many of the other characters, their relationship is founded on a trauma bond: only they really know what happened to Gonzales, Daniel, Alex, and the monster in Nostradamus, and they very nearly didn't survive it themselves. Grief, shock, and desperation are at the roots of their relationship, and their relationship flourishes out of that shared trauma---of course they're going to stick close together. So now you've got this powerful bond between two characters who met a month ago that is constantly being tied tighter by these missions, making them cling to each other harder and lean on each other more heavily as more people die and as circumstances become more and more dire.

So, "friends" becomes a seemingly weak word in the face of that, nor does it seem to check all the boxes when you have such strong feelings for the person that don't seem to fit under what you would typically feel for a "friend." BUT there isn't any language available to accurately or succinctly label your relationship otherwise. Thus, Thiago's conundrum in the fic.

Anyway, yes! Their personal struggles and the paranormal threats they face go hand in hand! The threats they face often pull out the rawest parts of characters, which makes them fun to analyze. I'm glad their banter and mannerisms felt accurate, it was one of the ones I was incredibly mindful of when writing this---taking extra care to make sure that this fic really felt like them. The banter and bickering are essential <3

what’s your ultimate otp(s) among all fandoms?

Alright, I’d have to go through every fandom I’ve ever been in and all the OTPs I’ve had, so let’s start with the most memorable ones:

My very first OTP was Pablo x Marizza from an Argentinian teen telenovela called Rebelde Way, and honestly, this ship basically shaped my entire preteen years and, therefore, my adolescence too. Their relationship was toxic as hell, but to this day, I could spend hours watching compilations of their best moments because it’s like a comfort zone. No fictional couple ever hits as hard as your first one, especially at such a young age, so yeah—they’ll always be my true OG parents.

Around that time, I also watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and well… Buffy and Spike were everything to me.

I also loved Chuck x Blair in Gossip Girl (another incredibly toxic couple, but guys, being a girl in the 2000s was rough, okay? Sorry).

Another legendary one that my Spanish mutuals might remember, but especially my Latin American ones: MAR AND THIAGO FROM CASI ÁNGELES. Holy hell, this ship takes me right back to peak dumb teenage years. Also, I’m really glad I was SUCH a huge Lali Espósito fan as a kid because, to this day, I still think she’s amazing—love to see my instincts were always on point.

I watched Lost, and I remember shipping Juliet and Sawyer SO hard—like, I was satisfied with Lost’s ending just because they somehow found each other again. Sorry not sorry, I have zero regrets about being this basic.

Pam and Jim from The Office, though I don’t usually count them because they feel too obvious, you know? Meh, but I always liked them.

I was a HUGE Clarke x Lexa fan in The 100, and honestly, how that ship ended was a massive disappointment for me, but whatever—OTP forever, btw.

Speaking of sapphic ships that were clearly doomed to tragedy, how could I ever forget Historia x Ymir from Attack on Titan? That whole situation was criminal, but then again, everything in that anime was tragedy, so I guess I shouldn’t take it personally (even though it felt personal).

Now that we’re on anime, I don’t mention it much, but I’m a huge One Piece fan, and I’m a fucking sucker for Shanks x Buggy. And if we’re talking more canon ships, I love Sanji x Pudding and will defend them to my grave. Actually, I will defend Charlotte Pudding to my grave in general because she has never done anything wrong in her life, and saying otherwise is misogyny, sorry.

Of course, I have to give a special mention to one of my biggest OTPs ever: Jaime x Brienne from A Song of Ice and Fire. My love for that ship is actually insane.

And honestly, I’m leaving out so many because I’m terrible at remembering all the media I’ve consumed, but I think the ones I mentioned should give you a pretty solid idea of all the issues I have in life lol

Hilda Furacão

Their lives change when they see Hilda for the first time and witness her change from a fearless but rich and traditional lady and model, to the most sought after and scandalous prostitute in the entire city.

After being popularized in the city as the most beautiful and popular prostitute, Hilda is accused of being possessed by demons and Malthus decides to try to exorcise her in the Church square, only to discover that he would not be able to resist Hilda's charms, she would become his greatest object of desire and guilt.

This story is full of sensuality, anguish, Catholic guilt and other popular tropes on the community, if you like erotic dramas and thrillers, you will love it, and if you like vintage fashion, you will love it even more. If you are from a Spanish-speaking country you can most likely find the series on the internet, as it was super popular throughout Latin America, and if you speak English, I can make some episodes available via google drive, however the person who subtitles the episodes is translating one at a time, so be patient, maybe the wait will leave you wanting more ;)

I decided to make a series of posts giving recommendations about brazilian coquette/faunlet media, i felt that something about Brazil was missing, im very proud if my country's culture and media and think that it should be spread and appreciated more.

okay my thoughts on the ending

i dont have any criticisms really or questions i think im gonna watch fhe revelando tomorrow so everything i’ll leave to say after i watched that

i cannot describe how heart wrenching it was to watch liz and thiago go through that. you just cant comprehend how it is for someone to stay waiting for years and just aging. i just feel so heavily for them because i just know that was agonizing and to see how liz acted afterwards broke me. cellbit definitely knew the right way to go with the writing in that combat because i wouldve accepted some gruesome death but it being mentally tortuous and liz losing so much of her life is another level of devastating.

then theres thiago which i already predicted was going to die the second he sacrificed himself with that symbol but the way everything played out was so fucking sad. he waited so many years for them to not be in the blast zone knowing he’d die. being unable to do or say anything to them. fuck. he loved them so much and died saving their lives. till the very end. he loved them so much.

liz lost her best friend. their dynamic was so important to her character and he really was her rock. and seeing liz without a thiago is. man. liz lost so much. they all lost so much. the ending had the perfect atmosphere of: was any of it worth it? did it even matter in the end? so much loss and so much pain. and it only led to so much more and its horrible and i detest the doctors for what they did to these innocent people and they all died not knowing. they had no way to live or understand. they all just died.

btw im crying while typing this lmao the more i think about it the more devastated i get.

all i can think about is when cesar felt like there was no going back when they were first entering that forest because theres no moment quite was accurate as that one. they were never coming back the way they arrived. they lost so much. it pains me to think about all their happy moments as a team when they played never have i ever and that damn cemetery scene. they were still so happy and together despite having lost so many people. they still had each other. and they lost even that by the end. they were never coming back from this. nothing was ever going to be the same again.

i kept thinking about when verissimo says oh youre team hope now right? and they still are but it felt so empty without thiago. i just thought back to his speech to liz when she wanted to shoot the old guy. saying hope was all they had. and now hes gone

liz’s attitude and fury towards verissimo in the end was just a direct parallel of the last mission when she had lost alex and daniel but now she lost thiago and she lost everyone she had from that mission and now its only her and she lost part of herself as well.

in the end it just felt like loss. only loss. and i know thats intention and fucking good writing but wow. theres no satisfaction in anything that happened.

i want so badly for them to be together again and happy and laughing and they just supported each other so well throughout the mission.

in conclusion um. yeah o segredo na floresta is not for the weak. i honestly considered quitting at two points in my watching of it. its so incredibly sad. props to the players for roleplaying so damn hard and making me fall so in love with their characters and friendship that i wanted so badly for all of them to make it out okay even though i knew they wouldnt. props to cellbit for writing such a great story and building this world. props to the entire ordem team cause holy shit they are the backbone of all of this.

10/10 would rewatch and cry again.

1) What is a habit your character has that others might find cute?

whenever thiago sneezes it's a very soft sneeze and he always makes a little >_< !!! face with it which is very cute because his nose scrunches up and all :] he also tends to pull the sleeves of his shirt over his hands when he's in deep thought or listening to someone, and he fidgets with his earrings a lot

2) Are there particular sounds your character is fond of?

thiago loves the sound of crickets and rustling of leaves! that's the sounds of the night to him and he loves sitting outside at night to just be in nature and to feel like he's part of the world :] he also really loves the sound of music playing in another room. he doesn't listen to music himself too often but he enjoys it when others are listening to music and he can kind of listen along, it's less about the music and more about the vibe and the feel it gives him

3) Is your character more prone to fight or flight?

thiago will always shoot directly into fight mode but usually in a cat kind of way. when something startles him or catches him off guard he will start slapping toward the source and he jumps back at the same time LMAO when it's an actual serious situation he will react more appropriately though, either by pulling out a weapon or jumping to take cover :]

4) Does your character believe in myths and fairy tales?

thiago doesn't necessarily believe in any of them but he IS very fascinated by them and loves reading or hearing about them! also a big fan of like, cryptids and stuff. DEFINITELY does believe in ghosts though and is also superstitious but wouldn't be quick to admit that out loud but you can tell if you watch him go about his business for long enough

5) What words could tear your character down?

being called a coward :] and funnily enough the two people he cares about the most in the world both call him a coward!! and they're right about it too!!! [dies in the explosion]

but yeah in all seriousness thiago is so scared of so many things but he's trying so hard to not let it show. and he's doing such a great job at it and despite his fears he's still kicking!!! but also the way he's handling some things Does in fact make him a coward but he doesn't want to hear it. he can't hear it because everything is already difficult enough for him as it is and if people can't even see how brave he's being about it all then what's even the point?

6) How well does your character act under pressure?

thiago thinks he performs well under pressure but he very much does not. in fact, the second there's too much pressure on him he ends up losing control of situations because he stops using his brain cells and tries to get to a solution as quick as possible without really taking any consequences into account, which in the long run only negatively affects him or the rest of the gang

7) Is your character good at practicing self-care?

no :( thiago has never really had anyone looking out for him or taking care of him so he doesn't really have anything to base any self care on so he just doesn't really do it. the best he can do is take a nice warm bath + jack off + go to sleep early with a big glass of ice cold water. but he considers that to be a once a month reward that he needs to earn :/ one day he'll learn he can just do that every day if he wants

8) What scents does your character find comforting?

any sort of homey smell!! fresh linen, cedar wood, anything warm and inviting and cozy :] basically this (the "he" in question is bodhi btw):

9) Does your character have any allergies?

thiago has a light allergic reaction to several fruits but that won't stop him from eating them, but he will also always complain about his tongue feeling weird afterwards. like yeah buddy what did you think was gonna happen

10) Is your character a light, medium or heavy sleeper?

thiago is a pretty light sleeper but also not easily disturbed by noises :] he Will wake up a little bit but drifts off into sleep basically immediately again. it's very difficult to annoy him when he's trying to sleep, the most he will do is roll away from you if you're trying to annoy him on purpose but he will mostly just be dozing off. world's sleepiest man

11) Does your character have strong willpower?

thiago has exceptional self control most of the time, unless he is very distraught in which case he will spiral so fast and do all the wrong things. he's very prone to just giving up completely when a situation seems broken beyond repair and in that scenario he simply gets up and leaves which is a very bad habit he can't seem to break. if he cares about the other person involved enough he will instead start doing everything and anything they ask of him without any limits in order to get back on their good side in some insane attempt to fix the relationship. also not very good :(

but in any other regular situation thiago is very self aware especially when it comes to vices and temptations. he knows what's good for him (and what's not) and knows what and where to stay away from

12) Is your character more likely to give advice or seek it?

thiago is more likely to give advice! whether it's good advice or not is a whole different story but he would rather listen to himself speak (and in a way he's also talking himself through the problem this way so it's a win-win) than give in to the mortifying ordeal of having to ask for help

13) How does your character relax?

thiago has somehow managed to convince himself he's the most laid-back and relaxed guy in all of night city when in reality he's definitely more like a neurotic prey animal than anything else. he thinks that when he's sitting somewhere in dead silence with nothing going on in his head it's because he's chilling and so relaxed but in reality it's because he's just frozen in fear of basically everything. but he doesn't know that. because he's a bit dumb

14) Is there a secret thing your character longs to hear?

thiago just needs to hear that he's doing a good job. most of the time he's not even entirely sure what he's doing or if it's gonna work out for him etc etc so just having someone else tell him he's actually doing Good. would help him a lot. also just needs to be called a good boy tbh

15) Does your character have a sleep routine?

not really! thiago usually just keeps going with his day until he feels like he's going to pass out and then he drags himself to bed to do just that. and then he's gone

16) Would your character feel confident in a fight?

absolutely. thiago is the leader of the gang umbra and he's a very skilled mercenary so he knows how to handle himself in a fight. if it's a fight with words though he will struggle a bit more, especially if it's with someone he cares a lot about. when he's doing his gang leader act and it's with some random person he'll be fine, but once it's with someone close enough to him that he can't use that persona and instead has to be honest, he will struggle with finding the right words to say and if he gets frustrated he will end up becoming very petty

17) Is your character more energized in the morning, afternoon or at night?

thiago is most energized in the afternoon! he's most focused in the mornings so he gets boring meetings and paperwork and stuff like that out of the way first thing of the day and then he has the whole afternoon to go out and do stuff :]

18) How often does your character have nightmares?

not all that often! thiago has a lot of very weird dreams that he can always remember in vivid detail, and while a lot of them ARE pretty scary he's mostly just intrigued by them and wouldn't consider them to be nightmares. however, the closer he grows with scintilla ("deity" that his gang serves) the more bad dreams he has until at some point he basically has nightmares every single night :(

19) Are there scents your character dislikes?

thiago really does not like the smell of night city :/ the outer districts are fine usually with the exception of everything in the north, the more industrial a district smells the less inclined he feels to hang out there because he just doesn't vibe with it

20) Is there a fear your character wants to learn to overcome?

thiago wants to become better at building meaningful relationships with people which means he needs to overcome his fear of attachment :] good luck with that buddy :] he will get there in the end. hopefully

21) If your character had to act in a play what role would they think they’d best perform?

thiago would be a very good main character honestly. and he knows this! and he's right!! as the prophet he's basically the face of umbra and he's a showman and an actor and he's charismatic and also he can sing so if it's a musical he can pull that off too. he would be very entertaining to watch and listen to

22) Does your character have a high pain tolerance?

yeah. unfortunately. thiago is a bit of a masochist (though that's not how his pain tolerance got that high, it's mainly just a mix of it's always been fairly high to begin with and he's been through a LOT) so like. yeah he can handle a lot basically

So! The dog cage thing its the worst offense id say. Basically the cage was hers and she suggested they put the guy (said guy being Alex btw) there so he wouldnt escape during the night because they were suspicious of him. Then they refused to take him out of it in the morning even when he asked to go to the bathroom to piss (I say they because Daniel was also there, the whole team this season was crazy i tell you). Shes also guilty of general mistreatment of Alex but so is everyone else

The teenager thing is actually kind of funny imo! The team needed to get inside the teens house to get some clues and stuff so she decided that the best way to get him to agree to let them in was to. Yknow. Do a flirt roll and smooth talk him into opening the door. But she failed the roll. badly. And ended up just embarassing herself

The last crime that people associated with her wasnt even hers lmao. It was a common misconception that she was the one who shot Agatha in the foot during the interrogation, but it wasnt, it was actually Thiago! This whole team was on some kind of quest to fill out the penal code or something

She was also generally wayy more rude than she is in the comic, in there shes way more filtered! I dont mind because i do get why they did it, but her constantly telling people to go fuck themselfs will be forerver in my heart

Also you said you saw s2 right? So yeah a lot of those rude moments that she had there also added up to her bad rep. I dont think they are that bad tho, i started with this season and she became one of my favs really fast!
