Could you IMAGINE Lestat’s reaction to the internet? Better yet, imagine his reaction to all the fan blogs that would inevitably pop up after his own interview is released after Daniel’s book is published. Lestat’s ego would be bigger than the moon LMAO. Somebody would have to hide ao3 from that man.
Hi anon! I saved this ask until I could take my time with it, but also so that the amazing and brilliant @aemondsbabe could help me. She and I have literally been having a similar conversation for months!
In fact, I love this ask so much that I had to make a gif for it!
Since season two and the Rockstar promo we have been discussing this pretty frequently. One thing I think we can all agree on: Lestat's Twitter would be phenomenal and hilarious. I live for AMC to do a promo account just for the character.
Here's some headcanon we have about Lestat's internet use:
OF - Lestat 100% has an account. He might not use it for explicit acts, but he would love the "private" style of attention, knowing that he is captivating audiences via computers and phone and tablets in their homes.
Twitter/X - This account would be the rambling, unhinged shit we expect from him. Typos, Franglish, absurd comments because he misunderstood a pop culture reference. But most of all, he probably would direct most of his tweets to close friends and we'd get to see his tweets to Louis and about Armand. And the occasional interaction with fans or other celebrities when he figured out retweeting (which would result in the inevitable cancellation that he wouldn't care about at all).
Insta - We discussed this and at first I didn't think that he would have Insta at all. Then aemondsbabe suggested that he would have an account, but he would only post what his PR manager told him to post. I hope someone teaches him to take pictures of things other than shit in Walmart and candids of Louis.
Tumblr - aemondsbabe is a fucking genius! 100% credit where it is due. Lestat would have a Tumblr blog, but wouldn't quite understand that it's not a private diary. In fact, earlier this month during a discussion about this subject, she wrote a blog post for him:
louis, mon cher, how i wish you could be here with me on this, the most périlleuse des nuits… i have fallen prey to an evil poison, a foul spirit!
the tour bus, you see, we had to stop to get l'essence ou, how you say, the gasoline… louis, mon cœur, i was tricked at this heinous shoppe! they had peculiar wares, des médicaments, promising virility of the gods!
i have taken one and i fear this will end me, mon cher! please avenge me by slaying the most wicked of men known as Daryl! he has taken up résidence at l'Exxon outside of Tampa!
I laughed until I cried! Brilliant!
AO3 - I really don't know that he would find AO3 on his own. I think someone (maybe Graham Norton) would show it to him at some point and then he would speed read everything he could and write a "private" entry about the fics on his Tumblr diary. That would be something to read!
Thank you for this ask, anon! This was so much fun!
I hope AMC goes all out with Lestat on social media the way they gave Daniel his own LinkedIn page. I need him to have a twitter at the very least, but they could so much more.

[OLD] So I found this Smiling Critters relationship chart and did it with my OCs because I want to talk about them more
relationship chart template by Valentinbelleyh on twitter
First up is Rozzie Rockoon!
more detailed explanations of her relationships with the main cast of critters are under the cut!
DogDay:
“DogDay’s awesome! He’s totally lead guitar material.”
“Rozzie’s really fun to hang out with! She’s great at playing music too!”
Rozzie and DogDay are good friends! Rozzie admires DogDay’s leadership skills, and DogDay likes Rozzie’s music. Even though DogDay doesn’t hang out with Rozzie as much as the main critters, they enjoy hanging out together, and he often invites her to hang out when she’s around.
Bobby Bearhug:
“Bobby? She’s nice! She’s just a bit… mushy-gushy? It’s not really my style, y’know?”
“Rozzie’s an amazing musician! And she’s just as good a songwriter! I wonder if she’s working on any of my suggestions…”
Bobby considers Rozzie a good friend (no surprise there), and loves her singing! She often tries to suggest song ideas for Rozzie to write, usually having to do with love or romance. Rozzie thinks Bobby is nice, but is a bit off-put by all her lovey-dovey stuff, mainly because Rozzie hasn’t ever been interested in romantic stuff. She’s tried to make a song with her prompts, but hasn’t gotten very far.
CraftyCorn:
“Crafty’s my art sister from another mister! Love her artwork, dude!”
“Rozzie’s very nice! I love making art with her!”
Crafty is a bit shy around Rozzie at first, but they soon bond over their shared love of the arts! Crafty once designed an outfit for Rozzie’s performances, and in return, Rozzie wrote a song inspired by one of Crafty paintings.
Hoppy Hoppscotch:
“Hoppy’s so much fun! I love her energy! I bet she’d be tons of fun at a concert!”
“Rozzie’s so, so, so cool! …And really understanding, thankfully.”
Hoppy and Rozzie hit it off almost immediately, thanks to their shared tomboyishness. Rozzie tried to teach her to play the drums once. It… didn’t go so well. (Hoppy accidently tore one of the snare drums. Rozzie wasn’t upset, and the drum was easily fixed, but Hoppy decided that playing instruments probably wasn’t her thing.)
Catnap:
“Catnap seems chill! And… a little bit creepy, to be honest.”
“Rozzie’s music is lovely. But her sleep schedule could use some work.”
Rozzie doesn’t dislike CatNap, but she also can’t help but be somewhat unsettled by him. It doesn’t help that CatNap once snuck into Rozzie’s house to put her to sleep when he noticed she was up late working on a song. Catnap either doesn’t notice this, or doesn’t care. He like’s Rozzie’s music, especially her more relaxed songs.
PickyPiggy:
“Picky’s nice! She’s an awesome cook, and she’s got great taste in music!”
“Rozzie’s just peachy keen! And she likes country music, like me!”
Rozzie and Picky don’t immediately hit it off, as they have trouble finding any common ground, but they eventually find a mutual interest in country music! They probably discuss their favorite country musicians over snacks and stuff every so often.
KickinChicken:
“Kickin’s super cool! Dude’s got tons of style!”
“Rozzie rocks! She’s almost as cool as I am!”
Like with Hoppy, Kickin and Rozzie hit it off really quickly. Kickin also plays an instrument (specifically, he plays the bass guitar), so they frequently get together and have jam sessions! Him playing the bass is actually what gave Rozzie the idea to try and teach Hoppy the drums, so they could start a band together! It didn’t end up panning out, though…
Bubba Bubbaphant:
“That Bubba dude is really smart! I wish I was as good at remembering stuff as him.”
“Rozzie’s nice! And surprisingly calm when she’s not playing music.”
Bubba initially finds Rozzie to be a bit intense, but he eventually warms up to her once they interact when she’s not playing music, finding her to be actually pretty mellow and relaxed. Rozzie, on the other hand, took a liking to Bubba pretty quickly, being impressed by his memory and intelligence.
I’ll do Randy and Clever tomorrow probably (or I guess later today cuz it’s 3AM when I’m writing this)
(if catnap were real he’d be so pissed lmao, I gotta sleep)

Right now, wine glass in hand and staring vacantly into the dark corners of the room in which he dwells - Barok can't help but think about his brother. To think about Klint during hard times, the man who he's always admired so much, has always come naturally to him - but it can't bring him any comfort now.
The truth is, Barok doesn't know what he should feel more betrayed about. The fact that the brother he'd wanted to emulate all his life was nothing but a killer, who's actions resulted in the ending and ruining of so many lives, including Barok's own? Or... is it that, until the very end, Klint was too afraid to share that horrible truth with him, even when that fear allowed him to be controlled into committing the most heinous acts imaginable?
It makes him want to laugh with a bitterness he hasn't felt in years. It makes him feel ill; desperate and angry and like a fraying rope about to snap. Perhaps it's sinful, and a sign of Barok's own weak character, that Klint's lack of trust in him might be what hurts the most. Had he thought Barok would break under the weight of the truth, and sought to protect him from that fate? What's worse is that Barok doesn't know how he would've reacted deep down. What's the scarier thought - that Barok would've turned away in despair and been unable to carry on just as his brother feared, or that he would stand with Klint, perhaps even turning a blind eye to his crimes...?
...There's no point in thinking about it now. But if he doesn't think about Klint, then there's no shortage of other things to take his place at the forefront of his mind. Such as the true identity of the Reaper, and how Barok had been complicit in his crimes for the longest time - allowing himself to be used and manipulated like a puppet on a string, even when he didn't see the full extent of it all.
His whole life, these past ten years in which he thought he'd endured so much, all for the sake of the people of London... what were they all for?
When he hears the knock on the door, it's tempting to ignore it entirely - he barely has the energy to stand, anyway. He doesn't know who it could possibly be, considering everything, but... in the end, he rises like a man possessed, and finds himself walking to open the door as if in a trance. What he sees when the door opens is the last thing he expects.
"Mr... Naruhodo...? You... pray tell, what are you doing here at this hour?"
@tenacquity ( starter! )

𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗮𝗯𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰, 𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗸, 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗮𝗻𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗲. Still, chalk it up to his thirst for knowledge, not so much for any thirst for power. Gale, a scholar—inquisitive, curious, and infinitely probing—boasts an insatiable desire to learn all that he can. However, as a follower of Mystra, he's solely from her Weave that he's encouraged to pull from; yet, despite this urging, this unspoken rule, the chasms of the Shadow Weave yet bubble in his thoughts. It's powerful magic, of course, warped under Shar like bones or metal, but still, the arcane is mystery, and the arcane delights him, and even clouded by corruption, it still harbors its worth. Put simply, Gale believes that all magic is essentially fair game. After all, it exists on their plane, sits waiting there a touch like a well for your thirst, and so long as you're careful, what's the harm in sampling? In the Shadow Cursed lands, he'd felt the itch to indulge himself, to whet his need, and when he fashioned that lantern without his goddess' permission, there sprung a devilish delight that timidly gripped him. It was like, well, being a boy again, to be honest, with his hand in a jar of biscuits he'd been told to not touch. It was an act of rebellion, spurred a quiver by Mystra's spite, sure, but far more than that, it came from a weakness to feel its power, and to feel the heft of it and to taste its tang. If it's one thing about Gale, it's that he so thoroughly loves magic. And even if said magic is cursed and bedeviled, it'll always have a draw for him, tamable or otherwise. To be sure, there is some hubris at play here as well: he'll be careful, he tells himself. He can manage.
For better or for worse, Gale, though more morally aligned than not, can still find himself weak to temptation.

Kaijudo Headcannons: Side Effects When Specializing in Certain Civilizations
So when dealing with Kaijudo there are side effects. I think this is how the system works in some way, I hope it's clear and this is more of an outline and ideas out together too.
The basic side effects of using Kaijudo:
A major one we see is that everyone has a limited amount of mana when dueling
Just to define a little bit of what 'dueling' is to know how much mana is considered being used: a duelist must first summon a creature, battle commands for creatures all while also using a supply to keep creatures in the human realm
So a lot of mana is being used to keep in demand of the battle
Safe to say users can experience the normal symptoms of: Fatigue, exhaustion, lightheadedness, in some people an increase of appetite
In extreme cases when overusing mana it could cause: a high fever, fainting, excess sweating, nausea, and delusion
If one were to use mana when there is nothing left, there is the possibility it could cause death
This is why if duelist can they will stick to using their main creature unless the situation calls for a different one
It's easier to control a creature that is used to you and have some sort of 'bond', not an emotional bond or a physical bond of course, that would go against the rules of the Order
More on the terms of: the creature you are using is used to your mana being used on them and it's less likely they'll fight against you when dueling with them (I'll most likely do an in depth look at this in another Kaijudo Headcannons)
So these are some of the basic side effects to consider with a duelist. These effects most likely prone to acolytes who are still debating which civilization to use and are much newer Kaijudo so they switch around creatures
However if a duelist already knows which civilization to stick too, they are going to experience specific effects from using the civilization. We're starting with the Darkness Civilization since it's the most frequent of side effects we see in show when Allie is using it.
Darkness
The most definite side effect is drastic mood swings/change in personalities
A darkness duelist will have a more negative personality and will lash out at others
Subtle changes could also include: expressing cruelty, want for destruction, prone to jealousy, outbursts
Other side effects can include: cold body temperature, skin also may experience becoming slightly paler, eye coloring turning darker, unusual slow heart rate
It should be noted I believe Darkness is one of the hardest to master and not most seeked out to train in
Not everyone equipped to specialize in Darkness and takes certain people to train in it
Another civilization side effects we can saw very slightly is Nature Civilization with Ken. While he was being controlled by humonculon we can use it as some sort of basis in his change in personalities
Nature
It's not easy to experience these side effects and more towards behavioral side effects
But it's important that when duelist are training in nature to be aware that things can get out of hand in their mental state
Change in personalities can include: extreme loyalty, single minded purpose, agitation and outbursts
While extreme loyalty doesn't seem too bad, it can relate to a single minded purpose mindset
In which a person will only focus on one goal, ignoring all else
This can create a toxic mindset that can affect others
The duelist will also lose sight of everything until their goal is reached
Duelist can also experience paranoia and lost of relationships
It's to be noted that it's rare for these side effects to go to such an extreme
I believe Nature one of the most common amongst duelist and most acolytes will seek into training into
Fire
I talked about the side effects a little in my recruitment
I said this is the hardest and also that most duelist come from families that train in it because of how hard it is to master
Duelist can experience: destructive behavior, prone to lash out, extreme mood swings
Other symptoms: high body temperature, which can lead to some mild delusions, high fever, excess sweating, dehydration, paranoia, tingling in hands, spike in anxiety and prone to stress
I said before duelist have to have a certain spark if specializing in fire and it takes a lot of mastery to control very brute and destructive creatures
The spark can get out of control and metaphorically become a uncontrollable fire within
If a duelist starts specializing in specific fire, they have to be moderator and regulated because they can get out of control if they do not have proper training in how to deal with controlling the fire within them
Water
An easier civilization to master and most sought after by most newer duelist
Not a lot of side effects either, but like Nature can show some excessive behavioral side effects
A person may show some side effects of: increase of ignorance, increase of pride and bluntness
More on the rarer side: a change in voice to monotone, can experience some paranoia, some can even experience delusional
Again since it's rare to experience these and most likely to develop if it goes unchecked
I feel like an example is most likely the Choten himself to protray these effects
Choten believed that the Veil will fall and may have experienced paranoia, some delusions as well
He also developed a level of arrogance and got so lost in these effects
Light
Another behavioral, not easy to master but not hard
Most who specialize already have an instilled sense of want for order and rules
But they can go unchecked
It's very rare but a duelist can experience: extreme organization, extremely order
An example of a person may be Nigel but also the episode in which the Light Civilization want to make humans to become like Light Creatures and went to extreme measures to achieve that
When it comes to new duelist, Masters will always recommend to start in two civilization, some combination of Water, Nature or Light since they are easier to and less likely to experience the effects. An example could be Gabe as he has (at least from what I observed) not shown any effects.
However some are already adept in certain civilizations and will begin training in those civilizations. Two examples I think of are both Ray and Allie.
Ray
He literal title is the Natural, so he's shown to be well in depth with all civilization
But he has clear alignment to both Nature and Fire, but a stronger alignment to Fire
Chavez most likely took him up in his training in Fire to moderator him
He's shown some small side effects maybe irrational actions or single minded purpose
It could be chalked up to him still being a child, but some of his actions sometimes can go to the extreme and may have been more encouraged by side effects, most likely fire
However since he does also specializes in nature it counter balances a little and shown little to no effects
Allie
She has shown extreme side effects
She favors darkness and rarely goes into other Civilizations unless it calls for it
It could be said Allie is the natural in darkness and most likely why she doesn't stray to other civilizations
Jaha has been shown to be more harsh with Allie and can be implied she has taken over Allie's training
A lot of darkness specialist have lost their way as well and Jaha has shown she cares for Allie and was sympathetic when she was about to lose her way in episode 13 of season 2
I think it's good to think about a system when using mana to duel with creatures. A price to pay when using such creatures.
However with the newer generation of duelist like the Choten with his more technology based gauntlet, the rules are changed. And with Ray's method of befriending creatures, I feel like it also changes the rules a little bit
If anyone is interested in hearing that I can make a post on it ^^
But this post is more directed towards the traditional methods of Kaijudo

A Brief History of the Element of Love
Recorded by... (the name is scratched and scrawled. You cannot make out any letters beyond M and T)
Type: Metaphysical
Previous Known Master(s): Elizabeth Chumsworth (née Lamoree)
Current Master(s): Nataly Chumsworth
Abilities: Masters of Love are known for being able to sense emotional connections. Unlike the Element of Peace, they are unable to manipulate or persuade these connections in any direction, only sense them.
Personally, I have sometimes questioned the use of Love as this element's name, as it goes beyond the realms of platonic and romantic affections into those of hate.
At the start of--and according to Elizabeth Chumsworth's personal account, even before--training, Masters of Love are attuned to three types of affection: Romantic, Platonic, and Malicious.
Romantic
Described as feeling like one's heart is on fire and/or feeling like they're "floating."
Platonic
Described as feeling like "sparklers" in one's mind, also compared to "eating an entire bag of pop rocks."
Malicious
Described as feeling a bottomless pit in one's stomach or throat. Hollowness.
According to some personal correspondence with Nataly Chumsworth, multiple of these feelings can be present at once. Additionally, there are "sibling" feelings that appear under the umbrellas.
Familial affection is understood as falling under platonic, but has a feeling more akin to the "crackle of a hearth," comforting as opposed to zealous.
Additionally, Nataly Chumsworth has described a type of "Toxic" love that is a mix of the romantic and malicious categories. She's said the two combine to create extreme nausea, almost like an acid reflux response. She says she's only had the experience twice, but both times she felt physically ill.
"It was like being trapped in vengestone, complete disconnection from my element..." - From personal correspondence with Nataly Chumsworth.
Some evidence suggests Masters of Love have strong emotional capacities and tend toward aiding others in emotional strife, both personal and interpersonal. It is unclear whether this is a product of their elemental powers or not.
Currently, there are no other known abilities tied to being a Master of Love.
First Appearance: Secondary, appeared after the initial share of powers by the First Master and within the second generation, led by his sons. First known Master was Elizabeth Chumsworth
This Element could have spawned as a way to manage the passing of Elemental Powers to mortals, or could have been made in the wake of interpersonal conflicts between the first generation of Elemental Masters. It seems to work with the Element of Peace, acting as its passive counterpart. With Love sensing animosity or affection, it can correspond with Peace to help with mediation. The tendency of Masters of Love to help alleviate personal issues could also be connected. Further research and possible historical analysis needed.
