Alastor time travel AU, except he time travels back as Cursed Cat Alastor and gets adopted by Kid Charlie so it’s really just an Alastor is Cursed Cat Alastor AU with time traveling shenanigans.

Alastor gets cursed into (or makes a deal) Cursed Cat Form by something seven years before the pilot and then sent many more years back into the past.

He’s picked up and then unceremoniously adopted by Charlie (Lucifer couldn’t say no, Lilith thought he was adorable).

Charlie names him something very grandiose. Lucifer gives him cutesy not intimidating at all nicknames. He only responds to his full title.

He spends 7 years with Charlie as her pet Cursed Cat.

Hijinks occur.

After the seven years are over he’s returned to the present, 7 more years into the future. Aka right before the pilot. He is no longer cursed into Cursed Cat form.

He now discovers he’s homeless due to the 7 year absence and decides to bunk with Charlie again. The hotel is a wonderful excuse.

There are still some Cursed Cat habits he has a hard time shaking off.

He gets into staring contests with Keekee.

Razzle and Dazzle like to sleep on top of him.

He likes sitting in tall places and staring at the people below him, watching, unblinking, from the darkened shadows.

Has forgotten more than once that cutlery is a thing he can use now.

Charlie finds him oddly familiar.

Can’t decide if it’s funnier to have him remember his time as Charlie’s Cursed Cat or for him to Not Remember or know why exactly he’s so comfortable around Charlie and why he feels the sudden urge to destroy anyone/anything that hurts her.

Leaning towards Not Remember— both for his Cursed Cat time as Alastor and his Alastor time as Cursed Cat (isn’t 100% cognitive of himself as Alastor when he gets cursed into Cat form, and doesn’t really recall the 7 years he spent with Charlie as a cat once he’s back to Alastor form).

Lucifer’s the one who makes the connection between the two. He doesn’t breathe a word of it to anyone (no one would believe him).

There are old missing Cursed Cat Alastor posters all over Hell. They’re often posted next to the Beware the Radio Demon ones. Actually, there are also old warning posters for Cursed Cat Alastor everywhere in Hell.

And I don't mean "what if he was in the portal" - he was

what if he was caught?

When Kitty gets stuck in the portal she needs help to leave, needs to posess Jazz as her in between

What if Fenton stayed?

What if Danny Fenton's body lays unseen in that portal every time he is in ghost form?

And what if, every time his in human form, his ghost half is there instead?

What if the portal is his Schrodinger's Box.

What if he can only be either in turns, form always caught at the place where he died.

I've seen takes where the portal turns off and they find Fenton's body floating there

What if they turn it off to find Phantom

The portal turns off - who knows why, maybe sabotage, maybe someone finally realized deactivating the portal to hell would probably stop the constant slew of attacks - and they find Phantom.

Phantom stands, perfectly still inside the portal.

He doesn't react to the change, eyes unseeing, body unmoving.

One of his hands lies on the portal wall, the other clutches at his chest.

His dead, dead eyes (and the Fenton's try to tell themselves he was always dead but this is somehow worse) unseeing, face contorted in a final, silent scream.

He looks like he'd died here.

Standing their portal.

Screaming.

It's their turn to scream when, in a flash of light, their precious son is standing in his place.

The yugioh groupchat au is the bucket where I throw all my headcanons and imaginary oneshots involving the yugioh protags. The basics of the au are that all the yugioh protagonists are in a discord server together, ad have the special kind of ride-or-die friendship found between long distance internet friends who have met in person maybe twice if they're lucky. Yugi started the gc (he's the moderator) with Jaden and Yusei after the events of Bonds Beyond Time (for the sake of this au, the gaps between series is getting squished so there's no time travel involved), as a way to keep in touch. Now, whenever they find another kid with trauma, a knack for cardgames, and frightening knowledge of the cosmos, they shoot 'em an invite. I went into a little more detail here

Other fun facts about this au:

It has an entire expanded lore and cosmology because I can't help myself. The bois have an entire channel dedicated to trying to figure out how it works. It's mostly just a record of wild things Jaden has said offhand and then refused to elaborate on.

Part of the reason they never see each other outside of international tournaments is that only Yugi and Jaden actually live in the states (and with Jaden, he spends half his time traveling or in the dark world so who knows where that boy is at any given time). Yusei and Yusaku (and probably the sevens and go rush kids, haven't decided yet) are in Japan, Yuya is in Mexico, and Yuma is in the Philippines.

Occasionally, Astral will pop in while he's visiting Yuma, but he's notorious for not remembering to log out of Yuma's accounts, leaving everyone to wonder if the person in the gc at 2am asking "do pigeons have feelings?" is an alien, or just a very sleep deprived Yuma.

Jaden and Yuya like to pester Yusaku to write them a plugin that enables keyboard support for the Eldritch Language Of The Damned that they both are fluent in.

Yusaku refuses to do this.

Most random thing but I love that you gave your Donnie a cat. He’s so cat lover coded and I just adore it! And making the cat a SPINX cat was just the cherry on top because yeah! This Donnie would totally have a spinx and adore it more than anything!

Schrödinger’s Cave 1st Anniversary

Hard to believe the first anniversary for Schrödinger’s Cave is only a month away! It’s been a heck of a year, and I’m looking forward to celebrating it with y’all!

I’m so grateful to everyone who’s been with the fic from the beginning, who’ve joined along the way, and who’ve just started reading recently. It’s been a wild ride, and there’s more to come!

When did Luz first met Amity?

im actually on the fence about this one!!!

see, the AU mostly follows the same story as in canon but with some obvious adjustments to luz's characterization/relationships & some story beats (such as like. any of her interactions with anyone from the emperor's coven) so theoretically luz WOULD meet amity in the same place, aka unofficially meets her as willow's fake abomination but officially meets her at the covention

but i also REALLY love the idea of luz and amity meeting way earlier. ive mentioned before my HC about the emperor's coven having a big fancy charity gala for samhain on the BI (here's a link to that post) and how the blights are always on the coven's guestlist...

i think it would be so cute if odalia and alador took amity along with them to one when amity was like 9-10 (both of them having the ulterior motive to introduce her to lilith clawthorne to see if she might take amity on as a protege) and she ends up meeting luz there (luz was only allowed to go if she promised to stick right next to hunter & to keep her ears covered)

i like the idea that theyre quick friends (bcus amity is so lonely after being forced to stop being friends with willow) and have a super fun night together and then part ways at the end and dont see each other until years later. when they do meet again, they dont recognize each other as their one-night friend until luz helps amity to restore willow's memories and she sees baby amity with her brown hair.

and of course, upon the realization that luz was literally also amity's first crush, it only makes amity crush on luz even harder.
