There are certain shades of green that are definitely "ick".

Well... I mean, I don't really think any of them are real. It is pretty cool, though, what a number of them have been found to be stylized or exaggerated versions of real creatures!

Hmm... I mean, the first thought was "otters!" - followed quickly by "penguins!". But... are those aquarium animals? 🤔

yaknow i wish people didnt act like having areas of skin that are different shades was a feature exclusive to black peoples hands like, thats a really noticable area so when people get it wrong its pretty obvious but even in white people the palms of your hands are a noticably different color then the back

skin color is not even on literally anybody you are always going to have variations in shades and undertones in different sections of your body and when trying to draw skin more accurately that really shouldnt stop at just using a lighter shade on the hands of ur poc chrs

im white so i cant speak abt darker skin tones that much, but i think that people rlly need to stop acting like stuff like having variations in skin shade is a feature exclusive to them everybody has melinin and its gonna be distributed acrosss your skin differently always and you trying to be more accurate in how u draw skin shouldnt end at instagram info graphics abt how to draw black people better you should be looking at photos and at yourself (even if youre white, black people are not a different species and traits can & do apply to both groups) and trying to notice various features because thats always gonna give you a more accurate picture of things

this is twistroot! (or twistedroot if ur feeling special). they are a magic/witchy cat that has their "medicine den" in the roots of an old tree...how fitting!

they use they/them pronouns and are queer but not necessarily seeking out a relationship as they prefer spending their time working on new potions and spells over their cauldron. favorite pastimes besides magic practice is talking to apprentices and making them special elixirs (fruit punch) during sunny days. twistroot finds the apprentices amusing and may even indulge in helping them with pranks and lend an ear to their troubles. sometimes they even bring the warriors in training to help with ingredient gathering and decorate the elders den.

they are open to a potential apprentice(s) and may even share tips outside of training! anything to help the mommyclan alliance.

a side note is that they can stand on their hind paws sometimes and have slightly more dextrose front paws to help grab things off their shelves

auauaugh i can't even imagine how im going to get through sophomore year 😭 i don't even know how i'm going to get through this semester i always feel like i'm scrambling. even though i can tell im making way better progress compared to last semester like i'm learning things quicker im getting more done i have experience to build on instead of doing 10 fitups of shitty t joints im doing 3 or 4 and that's because (even if my teacher has to come in my booth to show me how to do it) with each bead slowly i remember how i've welded before and understand how i'm supposed to do it but that's still so much time im still behind compared to where my teacher said we should be and i don't understand how everyone else is understanding and doing everything faster than i am 😭
