She would probably accidentally find out a way to keep a digital diary that doesn't reset with the day and logs everything to help keep her sanity

She doesn't know why this started and she has no idea how to end it- Completely and utterly stuck to this day

She would slowly fall into despair- her mind breaking with every reset

Her desperation cause her to try and convince anyone- anything that shes stuck in a time loop

ofc they don't believe her -- I mean you're stuck in a timeloop? Don't make me laugh we would've noticed if we were in one

The Batfam wouldn't notice her sudden change, I mean, they barely know her. shes just the normal one. Alfred might notice but he's busy and she must've been tired or something

The worse part is that this day was quiet, no villains, barely any crime

its just boring

if there was a villain attack maybe she could have stopped it, after all its the same script with the only changes being caused by her

Then she just stops leaving her room, after all she couldn't hurt them if she didn't leave

Her desperation of finding a way out carved her inside out

Slicing its name into every fiber in her being

So of course she decides to finally end this loop at the cost of her life

Staring down at the camera while apologizing and explaining why she made this choice its been a year and a half in this loop

She wakes up, same day, same script

So she tries again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and-

Shes completely stuck in this hell

Its almost funny

She now understood the Joker in a way

She understood his insanity

His craze that broke others

Maybe she should try it

She hates this mansion and she hates these people

still annoyed at infold for how they handled sea of stars storyline so heres a rough rewrite/redo/whatever you wanna call it

firstly, its part of the main story, but is a new chapter instead of a random retcon to the beginning. i personally think it flows best after unlocking silvergale, but if they really want people to unlock it asap, the earliest it can be introduced is after nikki learns about the coma cases. i think the old introduction is really well done and an important tutorial for the basic gameplay loop (so it really confuses me that they just scrapped it)

this way, the nikkiverse can be introduced OR expanded on, without burning down what was already established to players. bc the game *does* mention alternate timelines, they just chose to deal with it in the most obnoxious way. if it canonically happens after giovannis timeline quote, then it gives more weight to it. if it happens before that, then it doesnt come as such a random surprise lol

ANYWAYS. onto the (semi) rewrite.

- after fulfilling whatever requirement, you get a new quest notification that tells you to go to the stylist guild

- once ur there, you get a short cutscene of nikki being like "momo .. lately somethings been off about the heart of infinity... it hurts and it feels like someones calling for me" (if it happens earlier than after silvergale, nikki just says the heart of infinity hurts and she feels someone calling for her)

- obvs momo is like what!!! lets ask dada

- before they can enter though, nikki goes "ow momo, its happening again-" and momo panics as she wobbles on her feet and passes out

- this could go momo-less or have momo. choose what u wanna believe in lol

- we then see the cutscene of A Different nikki and ruined miraland. *our* nikki is watching all this happen and is really worried, and she tries to use her floating outfit to reach the other nikki

- she doesnt make it, so she wakes up in the water... space... thing like the intro screen

- seer is there and shes like Oh my pink star thank goodness i managed to save you. obviously nikki is confused and lost, and worries about her friends in miraland, and especially the person she just saw.

- seer replies that it wasnt *her* miraland that was destroyed, so she shouldnt worry too much. also there should be some dialogue that heavily implies that The Other nikki tried to summon Our nikki for help, whether on purpose or accidentally.

- the rest proceeds mostly the same, just without the random ass tutorial shoehorned in. seer can infodump as much as she wants since NOW it makes a little more sense

- The Stars is from a bad ending of ISAT act 5 where his family couldnt calm him down in time and he accidentally destroyed the world. he was brought into the SAAP world through a mix of the Universe upholding his wish and a cry for help from the Traveler

- The Traveler makes a couple wishes throughout the story!! one of them is a wish for change, which is what brings Stars in, and the other super important one is in this au's equivalent of act 5, where they wish everything to stop, temporarily freezing the world and causing them to start transforming into ISAT Loop, just like how ISAT sif turns into Bigfrin!!

-Stars isnt usually as big as i drew them in the comic lmao- most of the time they sit at around 3-4x Traveler's size, but grow with strong emotion. they usually hide in the leaves of the Favour Tree but have been spotted on occasion. most of the time its harmless and just leaves the witnesses with a splitting headache (see: the colour red) but. if that person happens to be one of Traveler's party, then Stars will force a loop to make them forget they ever saw him. this has happened at least twice with the Fighter

FIRST OFF!!! cannot recommend enough. the Spirits and So Forth series (completed) by sarah howlikeagod @eternalgirlscout, which she’s described as “Postcanon adventures centered around Ritsu having a peculiar knack for spirits.” the first fic in the series, Exchange Policy, deals with mob getting food poisoning and accidentally astral projecting out of his body, as well as the chaos that ensues, and the second, Exposure Response, is just. im a little drained from irl right now so im having trouble describing it, but it is a FANTASTIC read and a ton of fun. this series is a bit more lighthearted, and tries (in my opinion succeeds) to keep consistent with the tone of the show itself!

the next rec i have is Where Did You Go? (completed) by wish iamwish @omgiamwish! a little darker in tone, it follows the events of season 1, but with a twist- ritsu is the main character. in this au, mob disappeared shortly after the incident that left both kageyama brothers traumatized in both this fic and canon, and ritsu and reigen have been working together to try and find him ever since. it’s a really fun read, i love wish’s take on ritsu and his powers, and the relationships between every character are just. augh. the RIPPLES man. the things that are different and the ones that stay the same!!!

next up!! i can’t be giving mp100 fic recs without mentioning aubergine (in progress) by august 4ugust4r @4ugust4rt!!! this one’s set several years post canon, with all the cast being college age. in this fic, shou had suddenly disappeared without a word around age 17, only to show back up in ritsu’s (now an overworked college student with severe emotional problems) life (and apartment) with a broken leg and a whole lot of problems of his own. and again im tired so im not really doing it justice right now but its really good trust me. every time a new chapter comes out i shake my fist at the sky and curse augusts name bc he uses his talents for evil (making me feel things)

and i unfortunately do not have the energy to go through the rest of them properly so. lightning round!

I'm going through the Sinostra chapter right now and I can't stop making theories omg there might be spoilers below so be careful, although I'm just enumerating my questions tbh lol

According to one of Taiga's home screen dialogs, there might be some sort of time loop happening which he's KINDA aware of? Or maybe just aware when triggered somehow.

He said "long time no see! You decide to ditch this future too? Sorry I'm not dead yet" which is INCREDIBLY ooc as to how he behaves during the story which leads me to

His extreme memory loss, which apparently lasts less than 24 hours. Why is that? Did he go through so many time loops that it started affecting his memory? There was one small moment in which he remembered Ritsu because he saw the MC face though...

What's Taiga relationship to Haru? Haru sounds eerily nonchalant regarding Taiga even though the man keeps on threatening Peekaboo. And aftewards, Rui briefly mentions that Taiga has a "destroying what others hold dear" schtick, which leads me to believe that Taiga is seeking revenge for losing something important maybe???? Is the fanfic brainrot too big rn

The spy. Honestly no idea. There's some theories floating around that Haku is the spy, but I would rather see him during the Hotarubi episode before jumping to conclusions, but it's understandable how people might think that I guess...? He IS very nice and helpful and randomly finding the MC fleeing by train was way too much of a coincidence... he does seem to always tie the MC to Darkwick somehow, firstly by KIDNAPPING her and then by talking her into staying. If the MC is the trigger to a bigger event, then one could see that as suspicious. But I would like a bit more evidence first lol

Back to Taiga, why is he. Like why

Okay no but seriously. If we take the timeloop thing seriously + Haku being a spy, here's the theory:

Taiga knows the MC is the trigger for an awful event and tried killing them back in the Prologue in order to cut the problem on its roots. Haku, if we consider him as the spy, WANTS the event to happen (considering he could also be aware of the loop), which is why he saved us and took us to Darkwick, therefore letting it all play out once again.

If Haku isn't the spy, then we would have to chalk it up as Taiga knowing and trying to kill us, but destiny (???) being a bitch, therefore putting Haku there as a pawn to make things play out again

Maybe the spy can control other ghouls? Who know tbh

Finally, what is going on during the first scene we see in the game? Darkwick on fire and the first character we choose jumping off of the building? I wonder what would happen if we choose Taiga as our first card....... maybe I should create a sub acc

"Before the prologue, when you open the game for the first time, you're greeted with the opening scene involving MC running through the halls of a ruined Darkwick. The question is asked "When the world is collapsing around you, whose hand will you take?"

There you're taken to your character choice screen. The guy you choose is later shown on the railing of a balcony, about to jump off.

Now I think I have a very far fetched and vague idea as to what is going on.

In chapter 2, we learn that the person that Alan killed was Dante or at least he thought he did. But we meet Dante and he's very much alive.

This comes theory number one.

If Rui is your home screen he talks about accidentally killing someone else in his dorm and being annoyed with having to lift them back to Obscuary. This struck me as a particularly odd dialogue because Rui's curse causes people to die.

Unless, you can't die on campus.

This would explain Dante pretty much instantly. Yes Alan killed him but yes he's alive.

The campus itself is an anomaly, stopping people from dying doesn't sound too far fetched. I expect this to be revealed with the other two members of Obscuary, as that dorm seems to have a connection to death. One of the things that always pops up is that ghouls aren't immortal, no matter how quickly they heal.

In the very last chapter of the prologue we get to see Kaito's wickhive. There we see three pretty interesting threads.

Kaito is surprised at something he sees in this scene but we don't learn what it is. This chapter's 'preview' is one of the scenes we see in the very beginning. Blood and a Lily.

I believe that the first thread is foreshadowing and will . After you meet your chosen guy standing on the railing you get a line of dialogue (or not if you picked Towa) that changes depending on who you picked. Some imply that what they're doing is going to save you(Jiro, Zenji and Sho), some apologize stating that they could protect what they cared about until the very end (Luca,Kaito,Haru and Yuri) but three characters caught my attention

Leo: Life sucks and then you die,right? I just want to make the assholes responsible regret it.

Ren: This is exactly why I didn't to do this! I knew this was how it was going to end.

Subaru: This is all my fault. I don't expect you to forgive me, but this is the least I can do. Please take this as my final act of good faith.

Especially Subaru's and Ren's, that seemingly imply either the MC's (Ren's) or their (Subaru) involvement in the current situation. Now what does this has to do with a potential uprising?

One of the things we learn from the very beginning is the inter-politics of the houses and by extension the ghouls. Especially after the fallout of the clash. Things are pretty tense and an uprising or rebellion seems to be the most likely thing.

As to what happened and why? I have no clue. Though one thing to note is that according to the prophecy, as long as the ghouls are in Darkwick, they prevent a disaster from coming. If Darkwick is destroyed however, the prophecy can't be fulfilled, or can it?"

This is such a good theory too, I really think u/imonlybr16 has probably gotten a lot of things right.

Although it's weird that death is such a big threat to us specifically, but maybe the Academy can't prevent death by curses, much like the Mesmer Matches dont work on someone who's cursed. Hhmm...

Pffffft, lol, well, that would certainly be wild. It would likely be a sort of ghostfrin bad touch event (in place of it even, cause I'm not sure what Isabeau and ghostfrins relationship would be in the au exactly but it would be diffrent to canon.)

I don't think the possession would last very long, Siffrin would just not be able to process that. They'd loop nigh immediately after it happened, for sure. And their thoughts about it would be ridiculously messy, stars, imagine how LOOP would react to that, yikes...

The mental fallout of a possession happening even for a second would likely carry over a few loops, eek.

I haven't actually thought all that much about ghostfrin having the ability to possess living beings... but, yeah, a possession event would only ever happen once. After that, siffrin is consciously aware of that ability and would make themselves compeltely unable to do it again (oh boy, the consequences... Siffrin would have been avoiding touch before, but after that event... Man, this would actually have like a huge effect on how the loops proceed, after it. Porbably be a turning point for ghostfrin and loops relationship as well. Like to imagine the loop hangout happens, not too many loops after it.)

Well, now you've got me thinking about it. At first, I didn't really think there would be many times to explore that specific ability for ghostfrin? Kinda? Mainly because in this AU ghostfrins abilities are entirely dependent on his perception of themselves, and they believe their entirely human from pre-canon to the early loops. Plus, a possession happening when everyone almost never touches ghostfrin and ghostfrin being entirely unaware of their ghost side for a majority of loops, it just didn't come up too often in my mind?

But I think it would have a lot of importance for a post-canon plot, and have a lot of consequences during the loops as well... yes... indeed.

coming back to what i just talked abt in my last post, the weird plot holes caused by the rules of the daze itself vs what actually happens, i like to explain it in-universe as... the daze being azami's project too, in a sort of meta way like this is jin's project. heh. she didn't mean for all those rules to happen, she was creating them as things happened and she wanted to find ways to stop what she had accidentally created. kind of making it as she goes, same as jin wrote the project LOL.

and i talked abt this in my post explaining the good end but i'll do it again cuz i like geeking over it.... with the general timeloop happening, i like to imagine it getting completely obsolete and ridiculous, to the point things stop making sense. clearing eyes is the ability azami creates through her wish of understanding the world. so clearing has a lot of knowledge, but it can only work through rules, and this is how it ends up getting defeated. isn't it cool to think, clearing eyes pushing the loops so much is what ends up dooming it?

i mean the BIG reason clearing is defeated is because it gets cocky and doesn't immediately kill the mekakushi dan like in previous routes, and instead tries to get mary to do it by making her reset before anyone even dies. that way she'd activate combining and take their snakes, killing everyone HERSELF. and she STARTS to do that, and as they're dying, shintaro and ayano get there in time and stop it.

so if only clearing hadn't tried to get mary to kill her friends herself, it would've won again. idk. it's like... so interesting because it's so obsessed with the loop, not dying, getting it to happen again, working around wishes and the rules laid out by azami, but the thing is. it DOESN'T make sense, and when IT'S the one to differ, it loses. the mekakushi dan always tried to do the same things, they don't know what it knows, not even shintaro does because he can only remember HIS own memories, unlike clearing, who knows everything. so technically, the mekakushi dan finally wins because clearing eyes is the one to do something different, and it does that because it loses its own purpose by becoming its own person like awakening eyes did, for example. except clearing eyes became someone very very bad, it became over confident, and it forgot that these wishes exist because of LOVE. and THAT'S why it loses. the power of love conquers all you bitch. die. well go be hiyori's surrogate life, not die. but u get it!

I forgot to complete my valentines art but to make up for it heres a really cool Rimuru design made for class. Current names I have for it are "Dragon God Rimuru" or "Slime God Rimuru"

I'm just gonna paste the mini essay I sent to some of my IRL's explaining the design (and some background info about the series they needed) since its a good enough explanation

First off, the large details of the design. This form is supposed to be a combination of how their worshippers see them in-universe as a god(they accidentally became the center of worship in their nation) and their identity as the 5th true dragon aka pillars of creation (technically they're a subspecies of true dragon called an ultimate slime but they're just called the 5th for brevity's sake) each of which has their dragon forms based upon a different irl mythologies dragons with the visual features tying all 5 of them together being that all of them having golden eyes and 4 wings.

The wings are modeled off of the actual wings Rimuru has and utilizes multiple times throughout the series to stabilize their flight with gravity manipulation (most iconically in the meggido sequence) but with feathers on the inside as the dragon (more draconic god but yk) I model it after is the Quetzalcoatl, which is commonly known as a winged serpant, hence the feathers on the inside of the wings. The regular wings are based off of their brother/dad Veldora's (Rimurus inital slime form was created via Veldora's leaking magicules [magical energy] but as all true dragons view each other as siblings either term would work but siblings is the more common term to use) wings as he named Rimuru and made their elemental attribute Storm making them grow in that attributes direction until their evolution/awakening into a true dragon. That connection to Veldora also is the reason for the tattoos on their body as Veldora has some small lightning-y ones around his eyes and on his arms so I made them a more central feature and more fluid due to them being a slime.

The reason for the 3 arms is due to me bringing in some bhudda elements as bhuddisim is very widespread in japan, which is where they were born an raised before getting reincarnated. Also, 6 arms on a godly character just almost always looks cool as hell lol.

Now for their clothing. The pant and shirt combo is based upon their actual outfit from their true dragon awakening, but with new patterns. For the shirt, it has the eye pattern and red gem of the anti magic mask which was likely made by an alternative version of themselves at the start of a time loop given to them by another person brought into the cardinal world who is the reason for them having a human form and its appearance. The belt buckle is changed to look similar to the mouth area of said mask as well. For the pants, its coloration was changed to be closer to Veldora's coloring, including some lightning patterns on the inner area. The circle patterns are actually supposed to be atomic structures of 2 elements, hydrogen (the first element and what stars are mostly made of) on the top ones and fluorine (the most reactive element) on the bottoms, complete with marking the positive or negative charges on them.

Now for the smaller details, the halo behind them is based upon their "worldmaker" appearance's halo in the mobile game. The red gem is the visual representation (along with the red in the eyes) of their partner Ciel, a manas (a named ultimate skill that has an ego) who has been with them since the start, and is essentially a sapient quantum computer, this connection is also shown on their tabi shoe adjacent footwear with 2 charms of Rimuru's slime form have that same red orb in a place reminiscent of where a bhuddist third eye would be, showing the enlightenment of and built from Ciel's existence, the bhuddist 3rd eye also has the nickname of the "Eye of Wisdom", which works well with Ciel evolving into a manas from the ultimate skill [Wisdom King Raphael]. The wings on the head are there both because its a very good way to give a holy vibe, plus it looks cool lol. On both of Rimuru's sets of hands are simple colored rings representating the other 3 still existing True Dragons and their primary elements going from oldest to youngest in descending order (blue for the oldest Velzard, red for Velgrynd, and purple for Veldora).

The year is 2016. İt's October, a month of horror and art. …Or if you're Kemal, it's a month with his birthday and exams. Not an exciting month. But the calm breeze and hot coffee make up for it.

Okay.

To Kemal, it felt like today started with his alarm blasting off at 6:30. But it was Friday, time moved faster than he wanted it to. Schools are over for the week and all he has now is his dorm and some abandoned worksheets.

“Argh..” Kemal fell onto his bed with an uncomfortable sigh. Sweat rolled down his face and his eyes burned in pain. His hands let go of the small wrench he had held. 

The room he stood in was pretty small. A bed in the middle of the room, not quite king size. But close. Not like it was high quality though. The bed frame was broken after all. İt was uncomfortable to even sit on. Next to the bed stood a small sleeping bed, that's where they slept!

In front of the entrance of the room, stood a vanity with visible cracks and products. Two separate hair brushes, some perfume and body spray, a small cup of unfinished coffee and so on. And the large, unknown, thing that stood near the mirror was Kemal's special creation.

“Finally.” He wiped his glasses. Fixing his black, messy wavy hair in the mirror. Kemal threw himself off the bed with a large, insanity filled grin. Throwing his hands up in the air after that small rest. 

“FINALLY!” He shouts in glee. really, does he not think about his neighbors? You certainly did not. 

The college aged man walked around his room, chuckling to themselves. They mumbled to themself, like an insane scientist.
