#wait actually i gotta add to that#one of my uncle has 7 kids (one is an adult and the rest are under 12) (some are children through marriage)#they were there for funeral and the internment which honestly made the whole thing feel like bittersweet#i have cousin who runs a tourist housing business in taiwan and lives in china who came out too#some extended family who live in minnesota also came out for the first time in 20 years#pretty sure another one of my uncles is ocd (self described) and was VERY adamant about white roses#also his glasses fully broke right before he had to give his eulogy which im sure was nightmare for him#but he did great anyway!#and my mom stole a toy dinosaur from the church that the kids had been playing with 💀#also the minister was really sweet and funny and adapted so well to us akdjd#also apparently his mom is in the hospital rn and his car is in the shop and im really worried about this guys mom now#hope shes okay#anyway. i have such an odd family and they all live so fsr away so#its nice to see them again#mal talks#death cw

#this is hands down the most insane script ive read i was sitting slack jawed half the time#not because its Outrageous but because. oh my fucking God#frank sure does have too much influence over *gestures broadly* This.#to see their dysfunction presented like this. is. so.#like. of course the reason they cant be nice to each other is because they all expect some kind of Trick. we see this again in s12#they've set a precedent where everyone is unable to be vulnerable out of fear that someone else is going to take advantage of them#its about knowing to Never let their guard down. because they can't afford to be stupid enough to think someone was being nice#its literally about them not trusting each other. they know each other. care about each other. but they're all still at war with each other#anything could be a trojan horse#and even when they try to do something thoughtful it's ruined bc their motives are being questioned and that provokes a defense#''of course i wasn't being Nice that's stupid why would i ever do that for you'' because otherwise theyre leaving themselves open to attack#i think this episode works purely because theyre All trying to change this at once and since theyre all aware of that fact#its like oh okay youre not fucking with me because we've established we're all trying not to be cynical#i cannot even begin to dig into the pure autism of this entire. not even just the episode premise. the whole basis of the gang's dynamic.#like yeah of course a group of weird neurodivergent people is hypersensitive to this#its the same thing as mac and dennis in suburbs questioning wally's intentions/demeanor welcoming them to the neighbourhood#literally in defense mode all the time because they expect the worst from people and they haven't had any reason to think otherwise#marder and rosell get it but thats not exactly new and surprising <3#but wow this script adds so much. at least for me.#iasip#it's always sunny in philadelphia#ada speaks#character meta#for good measure

The jealousy that began to bubble up, though likely pointless to hide from her of all people, Arsay desperately tried to keep a secret from her dear friend Krile.
#ffxiv#ffxiv gpose#arsay nun#dawntrail spoilers#endwalker spoilers#krile baldesion#miqomarch#miqomarch2025#PLEASE TRUST that Arsay was doing her fucking best to not make anything in the last zone about herself#(except maybe when she was geeking out over the south sea lore)#even though she was getting pelted with her own parental abandonment trauma at an ungodly rate#its insane how much arsay was shaking hands with all the main msq characters in this expansion.#the tldr here is Arsay sees her parents in the aitiascope but she couldn't face them at the time and felt like she had to turn away#and instead of reaching/calling out to her anyways they just left. i dont have the tag allowance to explain the nuance in this choice thoug#I have a big thing i'd like to pose that goes more in depth with how arsay feels about this moment thats post 7.1#but this is the first time she /really/ thinks about this moment again and proceeds to do what she does best#She's framed with a big ol mask behind her and that is symbolic thank you#also cant remember if arsays echo cancels out kriles but even if krile has vibe checked arsay in this moment shes not going to bring it up#mostly because Krile has literally no clue about Arsay's parents and the thing in the aitiascope#thats the other secret that's embedded in this situation tbh since really only Graha and Yshtola know about it#i feel bad ruining this nice moment in canon but arsay also doesnt need krile to thank her for welcoming her on an adventure#because arsays would have welcomed krile on an adventure regardless of combat abilities#and like they also went through eureka together of course she trusts krile with her life already

Robin chose Steve. Robin made the conscious and deliberate decision that she could and would trust Steve. She already liked him! She had fun working and bantering with him! They were already on their way to being weird little bffs and the torture just expedited the process. Steve chose Robin just the same! He thinks she's fun and cool and likes her so much! He chose to be honest and open with her too, putting himself out there.
Even though their interests on the surface level don't match why wouldn't they share them? Steve clearly caves when Robin wants to watch a movie he doesn't think he'll like, Robin can watch a March madness game or five.
Stop trying to take away their bond oh my god people can be close to more than one person!!! Their best friend doesn't have to be dismissive or mean or whatever in order for a romance to be special to them!

#kingdom hearts 3#kh3#monstropolis#scenery#my gif#this factory is enormous and i'm impressed by how much of it we're able to explore since a lot of these locations aren't even in the movie#monsters in this world profit off of collecting childrens' fear; sadness; and misery and i think integrating-#those negative emotions into the recreation of vanitas was soooo clever#even if they did manage to get rid of him in such a comedic manner lol. makes sense sense that it took place on the laugh floor i suppose#but it's always good to see aspects of a disney world create an impact on the story and have its inclusion feel more meaningful#also it's nice to see the unversed again#on another note#sora donald and goofy's monster designs are fun and i'm glad we got to see them look so drastically different#i'd be so sad if instead they had sora stay as his human self and made him wander through a door into the monster world#without letting him be a Creature

actually so proud that in a time period where a show is lucky to last a year on broadway, the outsiders is extending to the TWO YEAR mark
#it bums me out so much that these new original musicals get sniped after a like a year#especially bttf i never got to see it in person but it looked SO cool and im so sad it ended that soon#but its really nice to see the outsiders extended their tickets all the way until next april#lets hope these newer original musicals get the time they deserve on broadway#im hoping maybe happy ending and boop wont be closed super early and replaced with some revival or smthn#we need more original musicals and we need them to last longer sigh#again tho just super proud of the outsiders for making it this far#the outsiders musical

jegulus microfic | a sunny morning | 354 words
just some pure fluff i started writing months ago when summer started and i completely forgot about
Regulus’ door slammed open with a bang, shocking him awake. He peeked out from under the covers, squinting one eye open and a look of groggy confusion only to jump again with the realisation that his boyfriend's bright and smiling face was right in front of his. Soft puffs of air brushing against his sleep-streaked cheeks.
“Jamie what’re you doin’” Regulus slurred, his voice thick as he rubbed the crust out of his eyes. James was crouched next to his bed, practically vibrating with barely concealed excitement. His joy was palpable, infectious, and Regulus couldn’t stop the corners of his mouth from turning up into a soft smile.
“Reggie it’s warm outside! It’s sunny!”
Humming softly and pushing himself up into a sitting position, Regulus blinked softly at James. “Wow,” he mumbled with an unimpressed expression, before stifling a yawn with his hand, “What does that have to do with me? It’s too early to be that lively.” He was clearly trying to look serious (although in the opinion of James Potter, who was always right, he just looked cute) and James pressed his lips together to make sure he didn’t let any giggles out. He did not succeed, earning himself a scowl from his tired (and beautiful) boyfriend.
“It means we get to do something fun! Go on a walk, have a picnic, a footie match, the opportunities are endless!” James gushed, speaking a mile a minute. Immediately, a horrified expression overtook Regulus’ face and he began shuffling backwards, pulling the covers with him and stretching them over his head. A dumbfounded whisper of ‘footie match? who does he think I am’ leaving the blanket cocoon.
A valiant attempt at hiding, James thought, though not enough to stop him, who immediately pulled the sheets off the bed and held them behind his back with a chuckle. Regulus hissed at the sudden attack of cold, curling up tightly and still in the process of shuffling away, though now also shooting a glare towards James. Yeesh. If looks could kill he’d have at least a million gravestones, but every single one would be worth it.
