petz catz 2's anniversary is in two days and i've apparently never drawn ivlet before. happy sweet sixteen to my favorite edgy wolf <3

i can’t even remotely remember the last time i posted art on tumblr but i cramped my hand doing this so I might as well

this is Citrala, my dnd character for my friend’s campaign. she’s a feral tiefling ranger (beast master subclass).

her dire wolf is named Ivlet, and she’s had him since he was a little puppy. Ivlet has the intelligence level of a shrimp but he obeys her orders and can also dance on command.

logically i know petz dogz 2 for the wii and playstation 2 was likely conceptualized before the catz version in development because of all the game mechanics like digging and sniffing and yelling (also those are all things cats do irl but people tend to think about dogs doing those things before they think of cats) and also ivlet being a wolf but i was too much of a warrior cats kid so i still refer to it as "Petz Catz 2 and also theres a dog version" instead

Best magician boi got a redesign after ... 7-10 years ...

Well, shit, Ivi really needed a new look after pretty much a decade being with me X'D

And if I do say so myself, I'm really proud of my wolf boi! Yup, just like Socsi is now a full fox, Ivlet is now a full wolf and his design reflects on that very gud. Just like with Darkness, Ivlet shows what a decade of drawing and character designing can evolve and grow into and it makes me proud how far I came :'3

MMMRGH I actually really adore his 'modern wizard' look with the hoody with the huge ass hood and the symbol on his back, and the rings on his wrists and his new wings--!!

Socsi's BF is now a more handsome boi and I found a new adoation and love with my fluffy OCs qWq

(And yes, I used sorcerer, wizard and magician all to describe Ivi cuz he's just that swagger that he can do all kinds of magicz heuhuehue ewe)

Ivlet is an old evil wolf whose intention is to bring chaos to the islands. He was the “leader” of his island’s pack and many looked up to his powers and his hatred of the cats' use of magic. While previous wolves did not like the cats much, Ivlet escalated their hatred into believing that only wolves should be the ones to control all the magic, and that cats were using it wrongly.  Ivlet has magical blood and a power specific to himself- within a certain range he can mind control a being. The person when controlled can only do whatever has already been revealed to him. He is very strong physically, has a great sense of smell, and can see in the dark.  Ivlet is impulsive, mean, and manipulative. Truly a bad wolf! He will do what he wants to get his way, but also make hasty decisions to do what he wants as soon as possible. 

FINALLY i can start posting these. here is my rewrite & redesign if Ivlet from “Petz 2: Catz (or Dogz)”. i am doing this in the context of catz because i prefer the contrast of cats and wolves for designing... keep an eye out for the full rewrite i will post once i finish posting the designs (not going all the NPCs, just some relevant ones, i am too tired and wanna move on from this project in terms of art lol))

note: i have added loads of lore and stuff to the story which i will go over in the main rewrite post, but in short, Ivlet is designed to have magic crystals to represent his ability to use magic! also sorry no design for the dragon part- i just dont have time but keep a look out for the full rewrite post because it works differently!

These games are my favorite ones to play while small / I think would be good to play while small! (Some may be difficult for small kiddos)

Mario Kart Wii! This is the game that started my true video game addiction. I one day want to become great at all the versions. Fun fact about myself- I won a Mario Kart Championship irl at a Comic Con one year!

Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 , these games are very fun and I highly suggest them!

PokéPark 1 and 2 , these! are! so! fUN!!!! Just trust me if you like Pokémon but like really cute- then you have to play these!!! You get to *be* a Pokémon!

Barnyard , based off the cartoon, this one has to be one of my most favorite Wii games while small, it- to me -is soooo good!

Disney’s Epic Mickey 1 and 2 , these games are amazing but might be a little difficult for tiny kiddos! This is where my obsession with Oswald the Lucky Rabbit came from! He’s so cute!!

Wii Sports , I love the tennis and bowling games so much (*´꒳`*)

Disney Infinity , very fun but you will need the accompanying figures to play it unfortunately (you don’t need all of them tho). I personally might own all the figures but not all the little “power up chips” (idk what they are actually called)

Petz Dogz 2 (and Catz 2), I have finished the dog version more times than homework- I adore this game with all my heart! You get to play as a dog who has to save the dog village (Pawville) from an evil wolf named Ivlet.

Littlest Pet Shop , mini games and collecting cute animals what else could a kiddo ask for?! I had an intense LPS phase and this game was one of my favorites for a long time! (I still have some old figures from when they first came out but they’re not in good condition- oh and the houses/playsets!!)

Madagascar Escape 2 Africa , oh how I love this game series! This one is my favorite! You get top,ah as all the main characters and go through the world whilst getting to play mini games! (Melmen’s and Gloria’s play throughs are my favorite parts!)

Skylanders, very fun but you need figures to play

Disney Princess Enchanted Journey , kinda fun, you get to help out the Princesses and save their lands from the evil bogs! This one is aimed at women/girls only but anyone can play but your character has to be a girl unfortunately. Sorry lil Princes, Princettes and Royality!
