Hi friend!!! 💕💕 so sorry for such a late response on this, the week got away from me a bit heheh but thanks so much for asking! hope you're doing well!!

5. favorite form of potato? previously i said baked potato which is true but it is a very very close tie with literally any other kind of potato. so i gotta take this moment to shout out to my homie from dinner last night, sweet potato fries <33

8. do you change into specific clothes for the house when you get home? YES ABSOLUTELY i have house clothes and outside clothes and never the twain shall meet. house clothes are much cozier and sometimes when i get home from work i do put off changing into them for a while just bc i'm a little weird about transitions but usually that yields me, in my work clothes, scrolling my phone while perched on an uncomfy chair instead of sunken into my couch because outside clothes do not belong on my cozy couch.

23. do you wear jewelry? sometimes! mostly just small necklaces tho i am wearing a ring right now bc it's fun to fiddle with. I don't wear rings or bracelets to work much bc they just kinda get in the way. and no pierced ears yet bc my earlobes are Lumpy but hoping to finally change that soon!

summer child is inspired by the movie palm springs. I hate this fic as much as I love it. I started it almost 2 years ago and I'm still working on it, I love it too much to abandon. But anytime I'm getting somewhere I want to change the pairing, currently it's a bartylus fic and I hope this is the one that will stick (so help me god).

There’s a few why you should watch posts floating around here but I think the character dynamics between the min trio is very enjoyable, and the production quality is pretty damn high. It is also as gay or not a you want it to be in a good way. Also solving mysteries

i recently found a hq character tiermaker list i did with friends like 4 years ago (shortly after i had just watched the whole show) and to this day it makes me laugh how much i truly HATED oikawa the first time around. i recognized how fun of a character he was but deeply resented it i guess??? anyways

i literally isolated the poor guy in his own category right in the middle of all the tiers. all the rest of them were just letters from S+ down through E and this son of a gun was put in his own special containment field of infinite nuance. Free Him

17. an anxious compulsion you do everyday? do you want that alphabetically or chronologically LOL. hmm most of my habits are rooted in an anxious compulsion some way or other, but one that sticks out the most i think is i tend to flex my fingers and hands a lot after a particularly sideways social interaction. i'll smile at someone the wrong way and then be walkin down the hall just 🤜🫳🤘🤜🤙🤟🫱🫳

26. how's your spice tolerance? very wimpy i am bad at being latina. then again cuban food isn't especially spicy so maybe i'm not a totally hopeless gringa traitor after all (in other words i can handle a bit of spice but it just detracts from the flavor to me and i prefer my food without it!)

So I was rewatching the second pizza phukbang and the whole bit about how ii (Interactive Introverts) was suppose to be the end of Dan and Phil always gets me thinking.

It makes me think about how much Dnp’s comeback has set off a sort of butterfly effect in my life, and how many things I wouldn’t have realized/not done just within these past couple of months, had they not unhiatus-ed (if thats even a word).

So I was thinking this could be a sort of sharing moment :D! I want to know how the comeback of the gaming channel has affected you! (I’ll share a little down below), but pop into my inbox/or reblog/ and share as much or as little as you’d like!

A few examples can be:

-What are some new memories that you’ve made?

-Have you made new phannie friends (online/or IRL)??

-Have your non-phannie family members/friends had to endure long rants regarding Dnp? (Just when they thought they were in the clear for five years….) (I know one of my friends was a victim of my “lore rants” during the release of all the clues for the tour).

-Has the fan-person within you come back full force?

-Have some opportunities come up for you that wouldn’t have happened otherwise?

-If you’re a new post-hiatus fan, how have you interacted with the community? Have Dan and Phil become a new fixation that you wouldn’t have found without the comeback?

For me, the gaming channel comeback has honesty allowed me to move past internalized homophobia/other things I was hiding from myself. Rediscovering Dan and Phils story and seeing them be so happy being their authentic selves made me rethink the way I was treating myself. Especially because I hadn’t realized how similar me and Dans journeys were regarding queerness. It made me not feel so alone! And now with my Tumblr I’ve found so many more people and it makes me sappy to think about it too hard 😭.

I’ve also genuinely reverted back to the interests and mindset that made me so happy back before the hiatus. In the last five years I was bullied heavily for being one of those “weird kids” and I eventually caved in and hid any and all of my interests. I tried desperately to run away from what made me happy in order to appease those around me. When I found Dan and Phil again, something in my mind set off. Letting go of that old mindset and reverting back to interacting with the content that actually made ME happy has been the biggest thing i’ve realized. Dan and Phil have reminded me that I need to embrace that nerd part of myself, otherwise its not really me.

(Yes, its all sort of cheesy, but its true)

So those two along with a lot more positivity thats come into my life solely from these last few months has been absolutely lovely. My life was honestly saved and to think of all the butterfly effects boggles my mind @_@ !
