This month I had the chance to try dried wakame seaweed in my usual noodles: delicious, texture is seaweed though less salty than fresh plucked seaweed.

Himalayan salt: did not like that at all. Mostly because I tried it straight on my hand and hadn't read the back and was taken aback by that sulfur taste. It tasted like way overcooked egg but i can definitely see why vegans find it useful.

Aged camembert: when I was 14 there was a very long, very hot car drive with a bag of stuff to make your own sandwitches, auntie Jane brought the camembert. I haven't been able to eat it once it starts to get stinky since. But this month when it aged within two days I thought maybe I'll quarantine it in an airtight container and see if I can get over the old instinct. It's been yummy but I do have to air the room after food prep or roommates start sniffing their tops in case we got the wrong detergent again or left the washing out wet for too long. 😭🤣 It's cool, M likes her toast burnt, her boiled cabbage and to cook garlic in eye watering quantities, J likes to do papercraft with old nail polishes. A heads up is all that's required.

I swear Ive left this app for a long time and therefore not update anything whatsoever. So here's one!

A Present pt1

First thing first, I wanna address my crush as "candy" because I always try to give him treats to make him smile. (Though I doubt my existence is acknowledged by him much)

Our first term holiday started (Mid Jan-Late Feb/Early March) and we students are supposed to be on holiday. But my grade will take a break on late Feb.

Candy's grade's holiday started late January, so I couldn't see him for another 3 weeks or so. I felt like I should give him something before I couldn't see him anymore for a period of time.

Then a little bird told me (/j I did my research) and apparently his birthday is coming up. BUT UNFORTUNATELY it's the week AFTER the holiday started, so I couldn't see him on his birthday to do anything.

So I decided to do something and give it to him before his grade goes on holiday. And tbh I planned this thing since last December, but I never really did anything.

I decided to make him a birthday card. I put my effort into it and kinda, felt proud of it too. I made a pop up style, wrote him some poems, did some papercrafts and basically put my heart into something.

Heyyyy another papercraft! 🔥

This time featuring the tag-team trio from ACOSF! This was made as an exclusive art print in the latest @/atouchofmagicdesigns (IG) art drop.

Ever since I made the papercraft for Gild a while back, I've become more and more comfortable experimenting with metallic papers. I used to be so controlling with my colors using paint, but now I get to create some amazing effects once I get the lighting just right. Thereafter, the papercraft is so much more eye-catching to look at in person.

In order to get these bright greens and blues to work and blend, I had to use NEON glow in the dark paint. (It's very faint, and it doesn't add much to the artwork, but it does glow in the dark!)

Who else was ready and waiting for these ladies to join the Blood Rite as soon as it was mentioned early on? I can't say that it wasn't obvious, but more-so, I was just tapping my fingers through the smut scenes waiting for it to finally happen! Gimme my Bat-boy Hunger Games! ✊👏

This papercraft isn't really a scene from the book, but more as a commemorative aftermath shot of the Blood Rite. Dressed in newly fitted Valkyrie uniforms, the three who came and conquered.
