Who is one that slays?

[I dont know Jack of Blades is that type of pureblood villain. You dont need to think much about his upbringing to know whats the deal. I felt like coming to OG Fable and I felt like making art of the lad! I find villains of the Void quite interesting!]

There is so much I love about this cutscene from Fable. Jack of Blades was an awesome villain and this was a key moment where he tries to come off innocent in wanting to reunite you with your Mother and Sister. Strange that they deepened Jack’s voice in Lost Chapters and the Anniversary edition. His original voice was perfect. You don’t need to deepen a character’s voice to make them a villain. All you need to do is read their intentions.

Once again thinking about how Lady Grey literally lured Amanda out by pretending to be her boyfriend, locked her in the celler leaving her to die of suffocation, threw away the key, and then when her parents were scared and looking for their older daughter was just like

"Whoaaaa thats crazy, man wouldn't it be weird if i had to become mayor instead bc my stupid sisters dead or something. Hehe, man I hope shes okay"

I've been watching ST Prodigy –it's very good btw– , and I don't know if it's just me, but I find it very Fable-ish.

The humour is different but not completely unalike, in its goofyness and childlishness. Prodigy is supposed to be a child show, and it is 'childish' ig, but like Fable it's playing with that. I mean, some moments are a bit heavy for a children's show.

The aesthetic is a bit Fable like, I think it's because of these very contemplative moments that throw you off guards.

The way Holo-Janeway interacts with the kids is kinda reminiscent of Teresa's or the Guildmaster's role. Obviously for the mentoring, but also because of her relative non-interference and because she kind of plays her cards close to her chest.

What especially ticked me as Fable-ish is the Vau N'Akat. Gwyn feels like a Fable hero, and our Diviner gives me a strong Jack of Blades or Maze vibe.
