Top 3 anime for the sleepover ask :)

shit just 3!!!! ok in no particular order:

zankyou no terror. such a good soundtrack and i loved the animation style! the story was unique and i fell in love with all the characters (lisa was a great character ur all wrong for thinking otherwise) i also liked the mystery aspect of it which reminded me of death note (another plus!) and the references to oedipus

banana fish. so. fucking. good. i just. so good! the character designs, soundtrack and animation style added ten years to my life. banana fish is one of the only shows ive ever seen write trauma accurately without sugar coating anything at all, its very honest and also doesn’t write it so that the trauma defines the characters. so good. the characters are also very different from what is typically seen in my opinion.

erased. honestly this was so heartbreaking but heartwarming all at the SAME time god!! it was written so beautifully and itll always have such a big place in my heart. music, art style + voice acting was A* and even though there were parts about the ending i didnt really like, its still one of my favourites and something id recommend to everyone whether or not you enjoy anime

also special shoutout to tokyo ghoul jack which is only one episode but is still one of my favourites because hey its jackrima but ALSo animated so well with a pretty soundtrack,, what happened to u season 3

I WAS BORED SO I MADE 2B LOOK LIKE JACKRIMA

Sometimes I like to think about Jackrima picking up Kaneki from the elementary school and Yusa from the daycare and just taking them out to the park to play a bit before they go home (to Uncle Marude's house! Where there will be take-out food. AGAIN.). Sometimes Fura or little Hide tag along, and sometimes they meet up with middle school student Hirako walking his shibe.

Okay but listen. Jackarima would be that teenager who never actually went to school because he was self-taught but also home-schooled. Because he was very bright and intelligent, he has already finished the curriculum for the entire high school program and just spends most of his free time reading books at home or at the local public library. 

He has made it his habit to spend some time with the children and take them to the park or out for a snack from time to time. He grew really fond of them and spending time with them makes him genuinely happy, a feeling that rarely visits him. He’d take Kaneki and Hide, along with Yusa for ice cream after school/day care. Sometimes, if they are well behaved, he’d take them to a coffee shop - this is when Taichi and Take tag along. 

The children really love Take’s shibe dog and they will often invite Take to spend time with them at the park so that they can play with shibe-chan. Take accepts because he can hang around with Jackarima. 

Back at Uncle Marude’s home, they are of course famished by the end of the day and - as usual - there is nothing to eat. Marude tries to persuade them to eat properly. he encourages them to help Jackarima to cook a meal rather than wasting time at the park. They never listened to him. At the end, they order pizza instead o)-(
