Chicago area police murdered a Black woman who called the police in fear of being harmed by her boyfriend and his friends, who were circling around the house that night. Police didn’t believe her and planned to arrest her for a false call. They escalated the situation and shot her in the back, kill her.

i stopped using this deodorant because it (may have been the thing that) caused me to develop an armpit lump but the smell of it reminds me of a really awesome vacation (where i discovered the armpit lump) 2 years ago. similarly i unearthed a half used old spice swagger a while ago and it brought me back to being a high schooler which, while not entirely positive, definitely adds an interesting dimension to my day. so the lesson here is to stash half used deodorants

Daughter of a magical human and a normal human. Her father is a paranormal investigator and his non magical wife acts as his assistant.

Jada can sense supernatural activity like her father and knows some kind of low level dark magic.

She acts incredibly bubbly and cheerful, but seems to be more of a mask for her more direct and cynical attitude that can slip out often. Wants to be a paranormal investigator like her father and aunt. Considers her first "case" to be Tisha, a ghost that died around her age in the 1970s. She haunts a apartment nearby, but her aunt's supernatural agency don't consider her a threat just a nuisance.

Seems to have befriended the ghost in a weird way, despite their demeanor toward the other. The closest way to describe it as a fremeny-friendship.

you had been a basketball fan since you were a little girl; you played growing up and in college as well before pursuing your music career

she had caught your eye, you having a little crush on her (her confidence through the TV when you followed on tour, enticed you insanely)

your relationship is definitely she fell first and she fell harder (you fell first and she fell harder)

Caitlin loved your music, putting the whole team on you so when she saw you in the crowd, courtside, she came to impress

you just so happened to show up on the biggest night of her career (she broke all those records and she’ll say it was her playing…her teammates would say your presence contributing to her ambition to break the records quicker)

after the game, you stayed behind, talking to your other friends in the music industry who had been there when some of the team came up to you asking for pictures
