The beer bar you always went to looked rather full today, cheers of people in groups and laughs filled the place.

You looked to your side, head falling slack against the counter when your eyes fell on a man who was sitting alone.

A rather ravishing one at that.

He was wearing a white shirt and a black beanie. You stared at him, as he scrolled through his phone. His cheeks were slightly red from drinking, probably. His skin was glowing so much it made you feel like he was the moon himself. You saw a smile take over his features and you smiled at it too. "Hyung, bill please!" He yelled out softly and the owner turned to look at him. "Jaehyun, I'll bring it in a while, wait a little." The owner said and walked towards you, "Are you alright?" He asked you and you gave him a thumbs up, smiling softly. "Anything else I can get you?"

"One more serving of fried chicken." You said and then the man in white stood up.

Going round the kitchen and getting himself a beer. "Hyung! I took another beer." He said and sat down in his place as the owner brought your chicken and typed in the computer.

You stared at him as he scrolled through his phone, analysing more of his features. The owner brought the bill to him and he asked for a pen, he scribbled down something on the bill and got up.

You saw him walk towards you. You thought he'd pass by and leave because the door was near you, but he leaned down to meet your eyes. Your head was still set on the table, one ear down on the table.

"Here." He said and placed the bill in front of you, your eyebrows furrowed and you turned the bill around, there was a number scribbled down on it and you looked up at him, "I think you're pretty too." He smiled and leaned back up, walking out of the beer bar. You gulped and looked at him as he reached the door and turned around to give you one last look and you smiled. "He left this for you and said, "To new beginnings."" The owner left a glass of the beer you had been drinking and you smiled, leaning back in your chair.

You got up as quickly as you could, dashing towards the door and he stood there, a cigarette in between his lips and you smiled at him, "Hi." You said softly and he smiled back, "Hello."

"Jaehyun." You said and he froze. He felt like his entire body was on fire, he needed you to call out his name more and more. "And you?"

"Y/n." You said and his eyes trailed down your body. You had a beige overcoat and white shirt which almost matched his, a pair of blue jeans and black boots which made you look like an angel. "They're such a cute couple!" You heard someone squeal from a corner and you looked down at your feet, a shy blush coating your cheeks.

"Do you smoke?" He asked and you nodded, "Once in a while." You replied and he passed his to you, the smoke gathered around his face and you swore he looked hot at that moment, the way his red eyes met yours made you feel shivers down your spine. You placed the cigarette in between your lips and took a puff, releasing it into the air and handing it back to him, "You don't want more?" He asked and you shook your head, leaning against the same wall as him. "Did you save it?" He asked you and you turned to look at him, "What?"

"Did you save my number?" He asked you and you nodded, "Don't you think you should give me yours too?" You extended a hand and he placed his phone on it, you dialled your number and handed it back to him. "What are you doing after finishing that cigarette?" You asked him and he smiled, "Don't know."

"Will you drink another beer with me?" You asked him and he shook his head, "I could beat it for a coffee though."

You sipped on your iced coffee as Jaehyun watched you, his brown eyes constantly on you, a smile on his features. "What do you major in?" Jaehyun asked you and you looked up, eyes wide, "How do you know I'm a student?" You asked him and he smiled, "You have a huge bag, you came into the bar around 7, which was I'm guessing after college since it's a weekday, you were even working on your laptop on a project, you got a call from a friend and you said, "I'll submit it on Monday."" He said and you leaned back, "Wow! You observed all those things?" You said amazed and he looked down, "It's not much." He said and you stared at him, he had little whiskers each time he smiled, and his dimples were so deep you wish you could just poke them. "I'm a Psychology major." You said and he looked up, "Oh! Me too!" He said and your eyes widened, "Seriously?"

He nodded and you giggled, "I am doing a research paper on criminal behaviour observation and patterns." He said and you gasped, "That's so interesting. I'm doing one on False memories and how dreams affect mental health!" You said and he nodded, "That's a great topic." He said and there was silence again, "What year are you in?" He asked you and you looked up from your coffee, "Second year."

"I'm doing my Majors." He said and you nodded, "Where do you get your observation skills from?" You asked and he laughed, "Can I be honest?" He asked and you closed your eyes and nodded, reassuring him, "I watched and read a lot of Sherlock Holmes as a kid and as a teen so I like observing people when I go to bars and stuff, trying to figure out what they do, it's fun." He said and you chuckled at his revelation, "I do that too, I was just too tired today." You said and he looked around.

"That guy, far left near the window, what do you think happened to him?" He asked you and you turned to look at him in a not so subtle way, and then you turned back to look at Jaehyun, who's eyes were glued to the man, "He got dumped." You said and Jaehyun looked back at you, "Aye! No way!"

"And that too by text." You said and Jaehyun's eyebrows furrowed, "Okay, explain!"

"He has been sitting there since before we came here and he's been sitting with flowers and since the past half an hour he keeps staring at his phone and his finger is grazing over one particular text." You said and Jaehyun nodded along, "Which means, someone texted him that they're not coming and based on his clothing, he recently got hired by a company and started working there about roughly two weeks ago." Now you were nodding, "His laptop bag looks like fresh leather and his shirt also looks fairly new, things you do when you get a good job also he's friends with the barista." You said and his eyebrows furrowed again, "The barista keeps checking on him and he's watching from the sidelines." You explained and Jaehyun burst out in laughter, "You're so good at this!"

"I have got a skill set of my own!" You said and he laughed.

As he walked with you, you observed how when he talks his tone was so low and his eyes would sparkle for mere seconds before the glimmer would vanish in his coffee coloured eyes. Others may even perceive him as cold because of the way he sometimes holds a stoic face as you explain something to him but then you knew that he was just trying to absorb what you were talking about.

"This is me!" You said at the bus stand and he shook his head, "I have a car! I'll drop you." He said and you shook your head, "It's fine, it's not even that late." You said and grabbed your wrist, "I can't believe a second year student would say no to a free ride." He said and you giggled as he dragged you down a block. A tingle ran down inside you as the taller male dragged you. There wasn't much to his clothing, one would even think that what he's wearing was rather too simple, but you came to terms with it. He still looked ravishing and amazing. The both of you arrived near a black car and he opened the door for you, "Milady." He said and you bent down, getting into the car and a low chuckle of amusement left your lips.

"So where do I take you?" He asked you and you explained your address to him. As soon as you took the building's name, his eyes widened, "That's my neighbouring building." He said and your eyes widened too, "Wow! That's so amazing!" You said and he smiled and started driving, "These coincidences are beautiful." He said and you turned to look at him, "I always wonder how it is that so many people live around us and we know nothing about them, but when we try there's always something you'll find about them which is similar to you. The more similarities you have, the closer you get even if you have different personalities. Isn't that amazing?"

You could feel your stomach turn and you smiled at his statement, "It is interesting." You said and he turned to look at you. You looked down to where his hand was, you wanted to hold it, you knew there was no way that you shouldn't be holding it. You looked up at him again, you let your pinky finger guide your entire hand.

His hand rested on the gear stick and you held his pinky finger at first, you looked up at him and he smiled, his hand now moving to accommodate yours and intertwining your hands in the process.

A warmth spread across your chest as soon as he held it, eyes turning into crescents and you looked out the window as a deep blush coated your cheeks.

When the car came to an abrupt stop you wished that time somehow dragged itself out so that you could stay with him longer. Familiar buildings were in your vision and his hand left yours as he stepped out of the car towards your side, you felt his warmth leave you and you sighed, you knew you needed more but decided it would be selfish of you.

When you stepped out of the car he held your hand again, fingers intertwining, you leaned against the closed door as you played with his rather long fingers, you let one of your fingers caress one of his veins and he grabbed you by the waist with his other hand. His arm snug so perfectly around your waist, you looked up, his eyes were already on you. He intertwined your hands again and leaned down, "Tell me if this is okay?" He asked you and you gulped, his cologne was just perfect, it drove your head a little light and you nodded as your breath hitched, "It's okay." You whispered with whatever you could muster at the proximity, your hand was on his chest, you gulped once again as his lips ghosted over yours. Your eyes closed and he leaned in closer, lips meeting yours fully now.

You almost had to suppress a moan as his grip tightened around your waist and his full lips moved in sync with yours. Your lips molded into his, almost as if both of yours were made for each other. His tongue grazed over your lower lip and you could feel your body burst into butterflies and flames all at the same time. You gave him access and he was quick to discover every cavern of your mouth, relishing the moment as your tongue lay slack against his and then he played with your tongue and you responded, colliding it with his and he let out an amused chuckle, you could feel the vibrations travel down your spine and you couldn't hold yourself back now, a soft moan escaped your lips and Jaehyun moaned back, his hand now travelling to your hair.

You were making out with a stranger you met a few hours ago, but something about him felt so known. Something about the way his cologne filled your senses was so desirable and so knowing. Something about the way he held you made you feel like you were molded to remain in his arms.

Your fingers were still intertwined with his, he leaned back and his forehead met yours, "I'll have to hold myself back, I think." He said and you shook your head, "Please don't." You said softly and placed a peck on his lips, he smiled and kissed you back, "No but I should." He said and breathed in harshly, "You just feel like you're mine. You're my person." He said and you smiled, he placed a kiss on your forehead and your eyes closed as he started placing kisses all over your face. "Or are we drunk?" He asked you and your eyes opened, "What about that large venti latte you drowned?"

"How about we get breakfast together, tomorrow?" He asked you and you looked up at him, "Of course." You said and he smiled, kissing your cheek.

When you locked the door behind yourself, you could feel your heart thump so loud you almost felt sorry for your heart because of how fast things were going. It felt too much and too fast and it wasn't like you were trying to hold back.

You lay down on your bed and your phone dinged, you turned to look at the notification and you felt like your heart would explode as your cheeks became a hue of red.

"Sleep well, see you tomorrow."

The text read and you stared at it, ey es closing and feet stomping in the air in excitement as you squealed.

As you munched down on your pancakes, your brain voiced out everything Jaehyun was saying. Your eyes set on his broad shoulders and his lips. You remembered last night's kiss, the smell of his cologne still fresh in your senses. "Are you listening?" He asked and you snapped out of it, instantly looking at him, "What?"

"Which college-"

"Seventh Sense University." You replied and Jaehyun looked stunned again, eyes widening, "Is this all a bloody joke?" He gasped and you smiled, "Why?"

"We're in the same college too!" He said and you almost felt your jaw drop to the floor, "You're not fucking with me are you? Did you see me in college by chance and-"

"Why would I do that?" He giggled and you leaned back, all the suspicions flying out the window.

"Why do you go to that beer bar?" Both of you asked at the same time and looked down embarassed, "Because he gives a discount-"

"If you show him your student ID." Jaehyun completed your sentence and you smiled, "That is a rule for all the students on our campus, you go to that particular one-"

"To get the discount since he's an alumni. He's my old friend by the way." Jaehyun said and your mouth formed an O, "That's why you called him hyung?"

"Yeah." He said and you smiled, "What was his name again?"

"Johnny." Jaehyun replied and you nodded, "He's very hot!"

"And me?" Jaehyun asked and you almost choked on mid bite, eyes shifting away from his, "You're hot too." You said when you caught your breath. You could see how much amusement Jaehyun was deriving from this. He chortled at your state and his hand came up to cover his mouth as he laughed, "You should've seen your face!" He said and you started laughing a long, a few tears of happiness collecting around your eyelids.

"How about we start going to college together?" He asked you and you nodded, "That sounds like an amazing plan!" You thought about it as Jaehyun and you walked in a park. Taking the bus everyday had started to take a toll on you and you had been looking for someone to start carpooling with you and this seemed like the perfect way to do so. "I'll pay for the gas or whatever, we can split the costs that's better for my back too." You said and Jaehyun smiled, "It is better for your back to sit with me in my car and come back home." Jaehyun said and you smiled, your arm was wrapped around his, "Do you have any roommates or flatmates?" You asked him and he shook his head, "It's just me in my apartment, it's my parent's actually, so I'm not living on rent."

"I'm alone too! I'm paying rent though." You said and Jaehyun turned to look at you, "How much?"

"Around 200,000 won." You said and Jaehyun stopped in his tracks, "That's reasonable." He said and you nodded back, "It is and I live alone so." You said and played with his hands, your fingers always tracing his vein.

"Isn't that Jung Jaehyun?"

"Yah! Who's that girl with him?" You heard whispers as Jaehyun and you walked together in the hallways, the stares had started to make you feel uncomfortable by now. "Don't listen to it." Jaehyun whispered in your ear and your fingers wrapped around his as he smiled and kissed your cheek.

It was a month after that when you were sitting at a gathering of the psychology department, "Are you dating Jaehyun sunbae?" One of your classmates whispered in your ear, Jaehyun was sitting on the other end of the table, your eyes shifted to meet his and you looked at your classmate, "It's not like that-"

"Y/n how about you show us how well you can drink?" One of your seniors said and his arm draped around your shoulder, "Why does only Jaehyun get to touch the pretty girls?" The senior whispered in your ear and you felt tears form in your eyes as you tried pushing him softly, "Minjae, please stop." One of his classmates urged and then you felt someone grab your arm and pull you away from him, "You're drunk, go home Minjae." Jaehyun stood behind you and you leaned back into his touch, "Look at this! He doesn't let anyone else have fun and he takes all the pretty girls- What an asshole you are, Jaehyun! Leave some for us too, we want to have a little fun too, you know?" Minjae walked towards you, eyes closing and drooping, "He fuck you good, pretty lady?" Minjae stuttered in your face and you looked up at Jaehyun, his jaw clenched and you held his arm trying to calm him down.

"What?" He retorted and you pulled him back, "Why did you do that?"

"Why did I do what?"

"Why did you punch him for me? You didn't have to! I'm not even your girlfriend! What even is our relationship? When people gossip about us, you tell me to ignore it, when people ask me if I'm seeing you, I don't know what to tell them! You've kissed me, you take me out, you don't want me to see other people but you never asked me if I want to be your girlfriend! So, what do I tell my friends when they ask me if I'm seeing Jung Jaehyun? I say-"

"You say he's your boyfriend." He said and you looked up at him, "You say, he's your boyfriend. Jung Jaehyun, is your boyfriend." Jaehyun said and you felt your breath hitch, "You're my what?"

"Boyfriend, unless you don't want-" You leaned up and kissed him, eyes closing and hand travelling to his neck, you stood on your tiptoes and he kissed you back, his lips moved against yours just like before but with more familiarity, this time you knew what you were doing, he stumbled a little but balanced himself, kissing you back.

"Your hand's bleeding boyfie."

"Are you and Jaehyun sunbae a thing?" Your classmate asked you and your friend snickered, "Shut up!"

"I just wanna know-"

"Yeah well they are, are you blind?" Your friend said and she turned around, "Why are people so interested in gossiping about other people's lives?" Yuki said and you soothed her back, "It's okay! I kind of expected this if I was to date him."

"Well you're equally beautiful alright? And on top of that why do people have to know! Like why can't they just leave you alone?"

"They're scared to ask Jaehyun, I guess." You said and she nodded, "Yeah they are. Do you wanna get lunch together?" Yuki asked and you looked at your phone which had buzzed just a few seconds earlier. "Jaehyun's saying he wants to get lunch together."

"We can all go together? If you're comfortable with that." Yuki said and your eyes brightened at the idea, "Sure! We can do that!"

Yuki had always been outgoing so you didn't see a problem in making her meet Jaehyun, plus she's close to you so someone approving of him did seem like a good idea. When you ran towards him in the parking lot, his arms opened and then wrapped around your form, "Hello, baby!" Jaehyun squeezed you as you smiled and kissed his cheek, "Hello."

"Jaehyun, Yuki-" You pointed to Yuki and then turned to Yuki, "Yuki, Jaehyun!" The both of them greeted each other and Jaehyun smiled at her even, "By the way, I invited a friend of mine, his name's Mark!" He said as he started driving, "You're comfortable with that, right?" He asked you and Yuki and both of you nodded, "He's an easy going guy, he plays the guitar and even the keyboard and he's good at it!"

"Oh, I sing! I'm in the college band." Yuki said and Jaehyun turned to look at her, "Well, I think you guys will get along then." Jaehyun smiled and you smiled back at him, he looked at you and winked softly and you got the message.

You had spoken to Jaehyun about Yuki before, telling him about her interests and behaviour, so he set her up with someone and you smiled inside at the thought of it. Your boyfriend was indeed perfect. "Is Mark younger than you?"

"He's your age." Jaehyun replied and Yuki pursed her lips together, "Tell me what he is like?" She asked and Jaehyun leaned back, smiling inside, "So, about Mark-"

Mark looked nothing like Jaehyun had described him to be, when Jaehyun said he's short, you were expecting him to be a head shorter than him, but that wasn't true, Mark was tall nonetheless, he was almost Jaehyun's height, maybe a little short of a few inches because Jaehyun stood a little taller. His eyes were like drops of rain, beautiful and wide, you smiled at him, and he smiled back, "Ah! Y/n, I've heard a lot about you."

"Is it bad stuff?" You asked and Mark giggled, you felt like he was the most adorable human on earth, his eyes made him that way and he laughed at every little thing, just like Jaehyun had said, "No, the good stuff." Mark said and you noticed how smooth his voice was.

"This is Yuki!" You introduced your friend who was standing with an arm around your shoulder, "Yo!" She greeted and Mark smiled, "Hello!"

"Lunch?"

Mark was good at making conversations, Yuki would look at him from time to time, stealing glances, "You know there's this party my friend's organizing, how about you guys come to it too?" Yuki said and Mark looked at her, "It's at Reds! We can all go together, I think it'll be fun." She said and you felt Jaehyun's leg move to kick Mark's, "Sure!" Mark said before Jaehyun could kick him, "Oh, by the way I don't have your number-" Yuki said and Mark handed her his phone, "Give me yours first!"

"It worked!" Jaehyun whispered in your ear and you chuckled, placing a kiss on his cheek.

The party Yuki had mentioned was a grand one, it was thrown by some rich kid who had just returned to college, someone you didn't even have recollection of.

The pink lights made you feel lightheaded and the few shots of vodka you had taken ran through your system, buzzing your brain and making you feel energetic. A pair of arms wrapped around your waist as you danced in between the swarm of people. The familiar cologne filled your nostrils and you leaned back, arm wrapping around his neck. "Hey, love." Jaehyun said softly and you smiled, "Hi."

"Yuki said you're drunk, so I came to pick you up." He whispered and you turned to look at him, he was wearing a black t-shirt and a pair of jeans. He smiled at you as you looked up at him, your breathing was hastened as he started swaying along with you.

Your other arm wrapped around his neck too, pulling him down and your lips met his. He froze for a second, before responding back, his hands travelled from your waist to your hips. As soon as you slipped your tongue in his mouth you heard him groan softly and the loud music made you feel ecstatic as Jaehyun kissed you. "You're drunk, love." He mumbled as he pulled away, his breath still lingering in your nose, you looked up at him, you were on your toes, even when you were wearing heels, "I want you." You whispered back and he looked down at you and kissed your cheek, "We can do this when you're sober."

"Jaehyun, if you don't bloody fuck me I'll throw a fit." You whispered back and he giggled. "Let's go home then, is that fine?" He asked you and you nodded.

As his fingers slipped in your and he dragged you through the crowd, anticipation started filling your stomach. You knew that everything you had done so far with him gave you butterflies. Even now as he was in front he looked so handsome, the pink lights made his milk skin look so beautiful you started wondering how you got so lucky.

When Jaehyun turned to look back at you, your breathing stopped again, he pulled you closer, he leaned down and kissed your neck, his hands grabbed your ass and your hands wrapped around his slicked back hair, tugging at it. He pulled away from your neck, his eyes were closed as he kissed your lips again. "I want you just as much too." He whispered in your ear and your eyes closed, "Jaehyun, please." You whimpered and he kissed your cheek, "Could never say no to you."

At that very moment, you wanted him then and there, other people started seeming like a haze, just you and him in the entire pink house and you couldn't hold yourself back for much longer. You needed to get home soon and you needed to drag him up to your apartment. "Let's go home." Now you were the one rushing him, you saw Mark and Yuki together from your peripheral vision but your needs clouded your brain as you dragged Jaehyun out of the party.

As Jaehyun got into the car, he ignited the engine and started driving. His palm settled on your inner thigh and he ran his thumb up and down, caressing it softly. "Patience is a fucking virtue." He said as he drove, familiar buildings came into sight and you sighed in relief as Jaehyun parked his car and opened your side of the door.

He grabbed your hand and pulled you out slamming the door shut behind you. He walked up to you and pushed you up against the hood of the car.
