Imma need a part 2 for that DukeZara prompt bc holy shit things are about to get messy

Duke felt a clench in his jaw line when she made the almost passive suggestion of going to Batburger. But after years of dealing with his found family and so many other colorful individuals he let it slide and followed her.

As they entered the place the older of the two kids eyes lit up at the new limited edition Batgirl toy they offered with the kids meal. He huffed air out of his nose before walking up to the counter to order their food. The younger of the kids stayed in Jahzara arms asleep now.

"What do you want?"

"Oh you got an attitude don't do that" she replied back. He rolled his eyes at her.

"I think I have the right to when you dip for years on end and come back with not one but two kids! Now dont start what do you want"

She was quiet from a moment before the older kid pulled at her jacket and looked up at her.

"Mama can I get the Batgirl toy?" She asked. Her hair was done up in twin afor puffs, one of the cutest hairstyles known to man.

"Yeah baby of course just give her a kids meal and me a batburger and fries"

He nodded and ordered the food while Jahzara walked over to a somewhat private corner of the semi filled restaurant. She didn't wait long for Duke to come over with receipt in his hand. When he sat down at the table neither if them said anything. It was Duke who broke the silence first.

"Are they mines?" His tone was stilled and cold.

Jahzara didn't show it but she flinched on the inside by his voice.

".....yeah" she turned away from him and looked outside the window in the front of the building. The gray stone city if Gotham greeted her eyes. She was always confused in how she hated this place so much but missed at the same time. Maybe that's why she came back.

"And you didn't feel the need to tell me because what?" Duke said with a light almost not there fury in his voice.

Jahzara furrowed her brows, "I had my reasons"

"Reasons I'm sure aren't good enough" he spat.

"Reasons you don't have any roomt to judge on cause your not me and I didn't tell you. I guess Bruce is rubbing off on you a lot huh?" She threw back.

"Don't you fuc-"

"Order #55!" Called an employee.

He hadn't noticed it but he could feel his body tremble with angry at the short but emotions filled conversation. He pushed away from thr table and turned to get the food from the counter. Not even a few steps away He looked over his shoulders and gave a dull look to her.

"Usually I wouldn't let someone talk to me crazy like that especially over something I have the right to be pissed about. But I'll let it go this time but don't try me again Jah and I mean that"

And now for the finale of the DukeZara reunion featuring the rest of the Batfam

"Well that's...do you want-"

"Just call your family so we can squash this please I got better things to do" Jahzara cuts off Duke.

Seeing what was currently happening didn't say how rude she was being just decided to get the rest of the family together. Sending a quick message to the family chat he looked over to his children. Ja and Augustina seemed to be taking everything with a grain a salt. He wasn't sure it was because they were kids or because they were his and Jah kids. And he was too afraid to answer.

"Hey Duke whats- is that Jahzara? And who kids are those?" Jason questioned as soon as he entered the fast food joint.

"Jesus you got here quick as hell" Duke says surprised.

"Wasn't to far from here when you texted now answery question whose kids?"

"Well-"

After that came Stephanie and Cassandra came along with Damian not to far behind them. Cassandra eyebrows hit her hairline when she saw them all, Duke cringed at the fact she already knows.

"When did you and Jahzara have kids?" She asked. Stephanie eyes bugged out of her head while Damian gave a somewhat owl like expression at the news.

"Thomas explain"

"Ok look-"

"Hey guys-" said Dick.

"No were not doing this! We're waiting for everyone to get here before we explain so either sit down or get something to eat while we wait"

After waiting for the others and getting the whole scope of things the family sat quietly as they pondered over the information. A crowd slowly made themselves known in the front of the Batburger curious as to why one of the most influential families was sitting there. After another amount of time passed Jason raised his fist and knocked it into Tim's head.

He cursed as he rubbed the back of his head, "Jesus Jason!"

"It what you deserve you weird bastard!"

Dick gave a tired sigh, "Guys not this please"

"I mean should we be shocked that it was Tim? To be honest I thought it would be Jason" Stephenie added. Jason gave a look of hurt at the accusation.

"God I too old for this" Bruce grumbled as he rubbed his temple.

As the family went on arguing and debating Duke and Jahzara stayed off to the side and watched as they did so. Duke sometimes couldn't believe what his life became often, and he didn't think he ever would.

"Well at least they took it well" Jahzara said.

Hsi lips went into a straight line, "Yeah they did for the most part"

Part 4 of the DukeZara reunion?

Duke looked at the woman in shock that someone from his family was hunting her down. Now he wpnt lie and say that his wife and family got along, while most of the family she was fine with Cass and Luke. But that thought if them doing so when she had children bothered him a lot.

"...any idea of who it is?" He asked.

She stopped chewing her food and rubbed a thumb on Ja little cheek. He grabbed it with his tiny hand and but her thumb she chuckled at the silly boy.

"It's not who you would think it would be" she answered honestly.

Duke pondered on why she would say that. If he was being honest he could see that from almost anybody if she didn't have the kids with her.

"Then who is it following you?:

"The resident unhinge robin himself, Tim Drake"

"What are you starin at?"

Duke had to blink for a moment to process what was going on in front of him.

It was suppose to be his rare day off of work in the city of Gotham, a nice relaxing day for the metahuman. But nope the gods were just messing eith him today.

Because what he didn't except to see was Jahzara in front of his eyes. But not only was she in his presence but she also had 2 small children with her as well. And if his eyes weren't messing with him they kinda of share some of his features.

"Are you fucking kidding me?" He said with no mind of the fact that there are two kids around.

Jahzara face grimaced at his language and pulled the kids closer closer her body. She motioned her head over to a batburger joint not to far from where they were at the moment.

"Let's talk over there I got a lot to say"

Duke was honestly shocked about well...everything. But there was still some pieces missing to the puzzle. Why did Jahzara have two kids? And how were they born without him there?

"And the kids?"

"His name is Jelani," Jahzara patted her son's head gently. He looked most like Jahzara but with Duke's eyes. He attention then turned to the little girl playing with the Batgirl toy. "And her name is Augustina."

"Nice names," Duke said. "But how were they born when I wasn't in Star City with you?"

Another smirk came to Jahzara's face. Despite them having been married for quite some time now, he had yet to fully know her. "You know a Watcher never turns their back on their allies."

Duke's mouth formed a harsh line. Of course they just had to be involved. I swear it's like they're some kind of cult or something. "Who was it?"

"You remember Copycat? Their Metagene has evolved and now they can make duplicates of anyone they take on the appearance and powers of." Jahzara went back to eating her fries. "I was feeling lonely in Star City. Exile blues, you know?"

DC OC | The Watchers

The Watchers are a secret organization of vigilantes based in Gotham. Their purpose is to contest and oppose the Batfamily's influence on the vigilante scene. They do this by using harsher punishments on high-profile criminals, using superpowers, and most of all: killing if necessary.

Many of the members are Metahumans who reside in Gotham and Bludhaven, frustrated with the lack of non Batfamily vigilantes in the area as well as the no supers allowed in Gotham rule. Fatale is one of the few Human members, but doesn't make her less of a threat.

They have day and night operatives; members often switching between operation hours. This is to cause confusion to both Batman and Gotham PD.

As of recent, the Watchers have over 100 members. Fatale (Jahzara Nwadike) is one of them.

DC | The Watchers

It's time I finally give the full introduction of my anti Batfam group, the Watchers. I've mentioned them in relation to two of my OCs who are members, Fatale & Crimson. I've given the gist of them on this post so I'll mostly be talking about the members here.

Serilda von Meier-Berger | Duchess

Jonah Yates | Cybiotic: Jonah is the leader and founder of the group. Contrary to what everyone believes, he actually used to admire Batman until he started to see how every vigilante that appeared in Gotham was either an associate of his or within proximity of him. Not to mention the whole "No Metahumans except Duke" rule really killed Jonah's respect for the caped crusader.

With no other options, Jonah decided he'd take matters into his own hands. He and his friend La'Frida traveled around Gotham recruiting young Metahumans who had became disillusioned by Batman to join their organization. Within a few months, they had 100 members with them as the leaders.

As his code name implies, Jonah's Metahuman ability is to use the nanobots in his bones and blood cells to create cybernetic enhancements to his body. He is the strongest of all the Watchers, hence why he's the leader.

La'Frida Nile | Sirenia: Originally from Coast City, La'Frida moved to Gotham after her parents divorced and her mom remarried. She lived in the same neighborhood as Jonah and the two quickly became friends. She had no opinion of Batman until one night. Her family was sleeping when their apartment was destroyed by Bane, whom was fighting Batman.

Even though Bruce Wayne offered to pay for the repairs, it soured La'Frida's opinion of Batman permanently. When Jonah proposed the idea of the Watchers to her, she was immediately on board and joined him in recruiting Metahumans from around the city.

La'Frida's Metahuman powers are based off mermaids/sirens-- including her alluring, supersonic song, water manipulation, and more.

Vicia Lopez | Crimson: Vicia is the first members of the group. A Metahuman from Bludhaven, Vicia ran away from home so her parents could be safe from her powers. Along the way, Vicia got herself into trouble with both the local gangs and police, and was thrown into juvie as a result. She dislikes Batman and his family because they don't care about Metahumans unless they're what she calls "Batman approved".

When she was released from juvie, Cybiotic and Sirena approached her with an offer to join their Metahumans only organization. Vicia accepted the offer and became the first official member of the Watchers.

Vicia's Metahuman power is blood control. She can forcefully pull the blood out of others and herself without any type of opening such as a wound. The stability of her power is tied to her emotional state and as a result Vicia must exercise great emotional control so her powers don't go haywire.

Will Vaughn | Allure: Will is a Metahuman from New Jersey and probably the most laidback of the members. They're also one of the few members that doesn't have any ties to the Batfamily. Will joined because they had a hard time making friends and thought that joining the Watchers would help them make lots of friends.

Will has no ill will towards the Batfamily, they just find them kinda annoying and bratty, especially Tim Drake.

Will's power is illusions via sweet scents. They can emit a person's favorite scents that taps into their pheromones and makes them see happy or positive illusions.

Aviva Santos | Copycat: A Metahuman originally from Panama, Aviva has a reputation for being a trickster and prankster. Aviva has a grudge against the Batfam because Nightwing destroyed their favorite mall while she was shopping and he was fighting a bad guy.

Aviva is also the youngest member of the Watchers at 13 years old.

Aviva's powers are their code name. She can copy the appearances, voices, and abilities of anyone she comes into any type of contact with for up to 24 hours.

Miguel Ramirez | Forger: Miguel probably has one of the most valid reasons to dislike Batman. His family's business was destroyed by a bomb the Joker planted and as a result, his family fell into large amounts of debt. But even with the money Bruce Wayne gave them wasn't enough to recover from the devastation. From that day, Miguel grew to resent Batman and everything he did.

When an opportunity to best his former hero came along, Miguel took it and joined the Watchers without any hesitation.

Miguel can generate liquid metal and heat it to high temperatures to become solid and change its shape or form.

Serilda von Meier-Berger | Duchess: The only daughter of two wealthy German immigrants, Serilda got the short end of the stick when she discovered her Metahuman powers. She is another member that has no connection to the Batfamily; simply joining the Watchers to get an understanding of her newfound powers.

Serilda's the one providing the money for the entire operation thanks to her massive wealth, becoming the treasurer of the Watchers.

Serilda's powers allow her to generate crystals on her body. These crystals are more harder and have more luster than others, making Serilda a threat when exposed to any kind of bright light.

Jahzara Nwadike | Fatale: Jahzara is the Watchers' most remarkable member as she is the first human to be accepted into their ranks. What she lacks in Metahuman powers she makes up for in her other skills such as martial arts, swordsmanship, and agility.

Middle child of a successful Nigerian businesswoman, Jahzara doesn't have any beef with Batman, but Bruce Wayne himself instead. She sees Wayne Enterprises as a threat to her mother's business and joined the Watchers as a way to use their connections to gain access to them in order to take them down.

DukeZara Period Romance AU

Inspired by @calciumcryptid

Duke Thomas is the newest ward of the local tycoon Bruce Wayne, making him one of the heirs to the Wayne fortune. He indulges in the everyday activities his brothers for take in like horse riding, fencing, and more.

But his happiness is soon interrupted by a group of muckrackers calling themselves the Watchers make his father the first target of their hit pieces.

Jahzara Nwadike has left her comfortable life in Nigeria behind for the gloom of Gotham City, and isn't happy about it. Especially since her parents' business is failing thanks to the Wayne Enterprises monopoly. To give her parents a better chance at success, she joins a group of muckrackers called the Watchers.

One night while surveying the Wayne property, Duke comes across the most beautiful girl he's ever met. While Jahzara vehemently denies her feelings for him, her heart can't help but long for him.

But loving Duke means betraying the Watchers and having Jahzara means putting his family at risk...

Honor Among Rogues: Jahzara lives a double life. By day she is Jahzara Nwadike, daughter of business mogul Nneka Nwadike. At night, she's Fatale, member of the Watchers. But both sides of her share one goal: destroy Bruce Wayne and Wayne Enterprises.

There are many words to describe Vicia Lopez. Punk. Cocky. Lost. Rogue. All these traits make her the perfect Watcher and the perfect opponent of the Red Hood. But what happens when her feelings for him become more than hatred?

Nyctophilia (Back from the Dead): Greynasha's days as a member of the Cat's Claw gang were simple. But then the Big Bang changed everything-- including her. She's gotten used to the changes, but refuses to give up her life. Unfortunately the new circumstances won't allow for refusal.

Cosmogyral (Between Heaven and Hell): Life on Earth suits Sophia Evangelista. Being able to go to school, play video games, and travel across the world is all that Heaven and Themyscira couldn't offer. Everything's going well until the Princess of Hell shows up at her doorstep with an urgent message.

Celebrity Skin: Teen idol. Megastar. World-renowned celebrity. Marietta Brooks has it all, even as the foundation her career is built on threatens to crack under shady dealings. But Marietta is not taking this laying down. Donning the alias of Glamor, she's going to do whatever it takes to preserve her image-- even at the risk of losing everything.

Back Home I Go: For as long as Sasha can remember, Venice Beach has always been her home; but she can't shake off the feeling that there's something out there calling for her. There has to be answers and Sasha wants them-- even if she has to join the Titans to get them.

Billie Sunday | Faerie: For the first half of her story, Billie is a junior at Huntington Beach High. Once she graduates, she goes to Miami to study medicine and become a doctor.

Jahzara Nwadike | Fatale: Jahzara primarily works as a vigilante then becomes a lawyer as an adult (idk if I would also make her a student bc idk how old Duke is supposed to be).

Vicia Lopez | Crimson: Vicia works as a trucker to support herself as she goes through trade school to become a mechanic.

Greynasha Wiley | Crypt: For a majority of Nyctophilia (Back From the Dead), Greynasha is a student at Ernest Hemingway High. After graduating high school, Greynasha becomes a freelance graphic designer.

Sophia Evangelista | Angeknight: Sophia works as an interior designer at the Star City location of Nneka Nwadike's interior design firm. She eventually goes back to college and becomes an architect. During this time, she still works at the firm but leaves once she graduates.
