Jang Low-CC Makeover
Baako & Anaya came to the bustling city so Baako could broaden his reach as a somewhat-popular comedian and Anaya could get clarity on which one of her passions to focus on. Can she split her time between making soul music and painting from her soul? Their quirky kiddo Billie is happy to be along for the ride. This hyperactive social butterfly has no filter when it comes to making new friends--even if that involves barging in her neighbors' apartments.
No-cc version available on the gallery @m0ckest 🖤 See my other low-cc makeovers here
Baako & Anaya left their beautiful home behind in order to find a new one in San Myshuno. With their daughter's blessing, they found a place surrounded by art, music, and a wild variety of sims.
While successful as a painter, Anaya wonders if she should have chased her musical calling years ago. She writes songs everyday, singing and playing from the soul. Sometimes in the evenings, she takes her guitar down to the plaza in front of the Casbah Gallery and harmonizes with the hustle and bustle around her.
Baako easily rose as a comedian, from a simple drunken open-mic night set back home to internet-viral routines. He's hoping the city will provide him with more opportunities to expand--maybe a podcast or even his own show. Either way, he's incredibly happy to see his family thriving.
Billie is a bright, playful, and loud young girl. She's quick to learn about new people and pick up their habits. However, some neighbors of her neighbors find her a bit much--such as when she waits by the trash chute to talk their ears off because she knows what time they take out the garbage. She doesn't care, though! She's having a great time!
And we have Pereko, the Australian cattle dog. He protecc, he snacc, he napp.
No-CC except for my defaults and a couple skin details. I’ve added some relevant relationship levels, preferences, skills, degrees, and more.
Unedited, no-cc:

Cloudgazing in the middle of the road. XD And yes, your eyes do not deceive you, there are glitched tops of buildings in the sky! This city is so glitched, but I still love it.

4.3k, The Witch Part 2: The Other One, blood, mentions of gore, choking, slapping, abuse, physical abuse, verbal abuse, beatings, manipulation, self-insert, stockholm syndrome, harrasment, psycho (@starillusion13)
“Aish…”
Lately there was just mess after mess to clean up, although Jang didn’t mind. It was amusing to see how the dolls destroyed everything that created them. Although this time things were different. He rarely traveled outside the country, but this was something he had to see for himself. Apparently this other secret group had been trying, and failing, to create their own breed of superhumans. Amateurs. Still, his people weren’t going to allow anyone else in this game, so he figured he’d deal with it personally.
Where he wound up was far from impressive, and was very easy to find. There was no need to be subtle, as it seemed the facility was already dealing with a major issue. It took the fun out of the job, but it would proceed nonetheless. His people took off, knowing to take advantage of the situation unfolding before them. It was fortunate this facility faced a disaster of their own as they arrived. They would make sure there was no recovery, and no trace of their activities. With all that going on Jang had no issue finding his way inside and getting to the lab. He browsed over some of the files, amused over the lack of understanding and obvious failures that had taken place. Then he stumbled upon a certain file, perhaps they hadn’t entirely failed.
“Sir, we have a situation.”
“Hm?”
“One of the subjects escaped the facility. They’re the cause of-”
“This one?”
Jang showed the picture from the file he had been reading, receiving confirmation. He glanced back at the image, asking where this runaway doll was, and ordering those that remained to destroy what was left of the facility. He calmly made his way out, following the trail of bodies and blood leading away from the lab and out into the world. It wasn’t long before one of his own came crashing down before him. They had sustained some injuries, and that just made him all the more curious. He continued on until he stumbled upon the runaway. They were covered in blood, looking around like a frightened child.
“Wah… is this what all the fuss is about.” Jang approached, putting on a smile. “Hello.”
“…”
“You don’t belong out here.”
“… you… you don’t wanna kill me…”
“Who? Me? Who told you that?”
“… you… you don’t want to… despite the orders…”
“…” Jang sighed. “… aish… now-”
Before he could finish black veins flared up along his neck and up to his cheeks, but nothing happened, to him that is. Instead everyone else around was lifted into the air and thrown back, all winding up unconscious. Jang looked around, a bit perplexed, before his eyes landed on the cause.
“You forgot me. Now why would you do that?”
“… you… you wanted to talk… alone… so I just…”
“Removed them.” Jang started moving forward. “Fascinating. You can read minds…”
“… nuh… no… not like words… but I… I feel… intentions…”
“Obviously. Your abilities are only surface level. Otherwise you would know the truth.” Jang suddenly had a hand around the throat of the runaway, lifting them up into the air. “I didn’t want to kill you… yet.”
“… please…”
“I saw your file back in the lab. I was curious to see what this supposed success looked like. Not very impressive I’m afraid.”
“… please… I don’t… I don’t… wanna die…”
“No one does.”
“Please!”
A wave of energy threw Jang back. He dropped the doll and made sure he landed properly. The thing was coughing as it regained its breath, trying to stand and then running off.
“Why? I’m doing you a favor.”
Jang wasn’t gonna play this game. It wasn’t really amusing anymore. He caught up to the other fairly quickly, throwing them into the air. They crashed against a tree, collapsing to the floor. He lifted them off the ground, pinning them against a tree trunk, choking them out once again. They squirmed for a moment, but they knew the game was over.
“… please… I could help you…”
“No, you can’t.”
“Please! I haven’t lived! I… I just wanna live…”
“Ah… now that’s unique.”
Jang stepped away, and dropped the doll, staring up at the sky while contemplating. There was no reason to speak out his conclusion.
“Come.”
You sat up, holding your chest as you regained your breath. For a moment you just watched the man walk away before your senses processed everything. You quickly scrambled to your feet and stumbled behind the man who had just attacked you, who had just let you live. You quietly followed despite having so much you wanted to say. Although he suddenly stopped and you bumped into him.
“… sorry…”
“This doesn’t need to be said, but just to be sure you understand your situation.” Jang glanced back at you. “I’m only letting you live for now to see if you’re worth anything. If not, it won’t be difficult to dispose of you.”
“… I understand…”
“Good.”
“Uh… may I… what do I call you?”
Jang chuckled. “Can’t sense that?”
“I… I just want to be sure…”
“Huh, you call me sir.”
“Ah… okay… sir…”
Jang continued and you followed close behind. You could see that despicable place up in flames, hiding a small smile. As you approached a group of other people you stepped closer to Jang, a bit worried you’d have to fight again, but no one made a move. Someone opened a car door as Jang approached, and you were a bit hesitant to get in the vehicle with him. Although as you began to sense his annoyance you quickly got in.
You had no idea where you were going, so it wasn’t easy to relax. You could only take a bit of comfort knowing you weren’t going to die, at least not right now. The ride was silent, and you weren’t going to make conversation, so you just stared out the window. For the first time in your life you could see what was beyond the lab. At first there was nothing but trees and endless fields, but slowly you began to see civilization. People just going about their lives, and you couldn’t help but be fascinated by it all. Eventually the car stopped in front of a building.
You found yourself staring and completely in awe that you didn’t notice someone opening the door. You would have fallen out if your seatbelt didn’t hold you in place. You quickly got your seatbelt off and got out of the car. You paid no attention to your surroundings and quickly ran over to Jang. He led you inside and into an elevator. You went up a few floors and then you found yourself in some fancy room. You looked around with wide eyes, but made sure to follow Jang.
“Clean yourself up. I’ll get you a change of clothes and food.”
“Yes, sir.”
You lightly bowed your head and stepped into the bathroom. It wasn’t a familiar site to you, but you understood the purpose. The door had been shut and you took a moment to look around. You saw your filthy appearance in the mirror, seeing yourself covered with blood and dirt, a shower would do you some good. You figured out how to turn the shower head on, reaching out your hand to touch the water. Back at the lab they rarely cared to clean you, and if they ever did they just hosed you down in your clothes. The soft pitter patter of the water was soothing, bringing a smile to your face.
You undressed and slowly stepped into the tub, getting under the shower head and letting the warm water wash over you. It was a nice feeling against your skin. You closed your eyes and lifted your head up to let the water fall over you. A soft hum escaped your lips, and then you heard the shower curtain yanked to the side. Your eyes shot open and you saw Jang standing there. You didn’t scream, but you quickly reached up to cover yourself. Although he stopped you, grabbing your arm and holding it away. His eyes examined you from head to toe, getting a proper look at what he was working with.
Eventually he let you go, only to hit you in the face. You could feel the sting of an open wound, wincing from the pain. This time Jang grabbed your face so you would look at him. He watched as your wound healed, having used this time to test your abilities. Once he was satisfied with his inspection he told you to hurry up and left the room. You stood frozen for a while before pulling the shower curtain closed and finishing your shower. When you stepped out you noticed fresh clothes folded on the sinktop. You dried yourself off and dressed, leaving the bathroom and looking around for Jang.
“Eat.”
You came across Jang in another room. He was sitting at a table, reading something, but you were quickly drawn to the plate of hot food. It smelled delicious and you looked at it in awe. Your stomach growled, but you didn’t move, attracting attention.
“What? You don’t like it?”
“I don’t know… how…”
“Ah, right. They fed you through a tube.”
Jang put down his book and reached over to pull the bowl of food away from you. He grabbed the chopsticks and started mixing around the food. He glanced over at you and then gestured with the chopsticks for you to sit down. You nervously took a seat next to him, the food smelling better than before. After a moment he held up some noodles for you to eat. He gave you a nod and you leaned over, opening your mouth. The taste was delicious and your eyes lit up. He put the chopsticks down and slid over the bowl. You weren’t really good with the chopsticks so you kept your face close to the food, practically scooping it into your mouth.
“Don’t choke.”
When you finished the bowl you licked your lips, missing the taste and wanting more, but you were too nervous to ask. Jang had gone back to his book, focused on that and not even glancing at you.
“Done?”
“Yes, sir.”
“Good. It’s time to leave.”
Jang got up and you quickly followed, although after a few steps you began to feel dizzy. You grabbed onto the nearest thing, trying to hold yourself up.
“Sir…”
“Don’t concern yourself. Transporting you across the ocean is easier if you’re cargo.”
“I…”
You could barely keep your eyes open and ultimately collapsed to the floor. Everything was spinning and soon enough you noticed Jang’s face looking down on you. He had an amused look on his face, and it was the last thing you saw before everything cut to black.
“We need to work on your tolerance.”
🖤
You slowly regained consciousness, feeling a throbbing ache in your head. As you opened your eyes you took in your surroundings, soon realizing you were tied down to a chair. You barely had any room to move, and you weren’t alone. There were two other men standing on either side of you. They weren’t paying you any attention, and you continued to look around. There were some dim lights, but a lot of darkness you couldn’t see past. Still, you noticed a glass window pane, and saw Jang on the other side. A few men stood behind him, but he had his attention elsewhere. You wanted to ask what was happening, but before you could speak he raised his hand and you received a punch to the gut.
The two men standing at your sides began to hit you, beating you down. One blow after another without any relief. You wound up knocked over, coughing up blood. You didn’t understand this, why Jang was doing this to you, and then you heard him laugh. In his mind he was laughing at you. It wasn’t so long ago that you told him you wanted to live, and yet here you were now, letting death approach you. Now you understood his inventions, or at least you believed to. This wasn’t some test to see how much you would take for him, but a test of power. You let out a blood gurgling giggle, a small smile appearing on your face.
You broke free from your restraints, jumping on your nearest attacker. You fought back like a monster, remembering the day you broke out. You weren’t going to go back to being caged, to being treated like an animal. So you were going to fight to survive. You managed to beat one of the men down, and you threw the other through the window pane. Jang and the others had stepped out of the way when they realized your intentions. You were breathing heavily, looking over at Jang, spitting out some blood from your mouth. He merely looked at the scene and the gentleman catching their breath on the floor next to him.
“Decent.”
That was the start for you. Everyday Jang threw you into a fight. Sometimes it was a one-on-one with someone, or multiple people against you. It was how you learned how to fight, practicing everyday, and doing your best to improve. Jang would always be watching, but you found it difficult to read him. Everyone else was like an open book. As your physical skills improved you began to get better at reading your opponents. You could avoid hits and strike when they least expected it. Being in the midst of combat never affected you, yet even while you stood next to Jang you couldn’t read him clearly. As far as you understood he was the only one who really knew what you could do, and thus protected himself accordingly. You were impressed by that, but you still had a long way to go.
Once Jang deemed you ready you were allowed to travel with him. He kept you close, and even if the others around would throw glances your way, they said nothing. You remained silent as well, only speaking when spoken to, and that only applied with Jang. He gave you no details about where you were going, just having you sit in the passenger seat of the vehicle he was driving. Most of the time he was driven somewhere, but this time he was behind the wheel. The drive was long, and soon enough you realized there was nothing around you. It just seemed to be endless trees, and then even that was gone. Replaced by open space.
“I should teach you how to drive.”
Up on a hill you saw a house by the water, and realized that was the destination. Jang stepped out of the vehicle and you followed behind him, taking in the scenery.
“That’s nice.”
The air was different here, but refreshing as well. The never ending waves had a sense of calm and peace to them, but then you began to sense something off. You looked over at Jang just as his gaze shifted as well, following his eyes to see what was behind you.
“What’s that? Where did that come from?”
You didn’t like it, but you said nothing. When Jang moved, so did you, staying right behind him. The others remained outside, but you followed him in. You had no idea who he was here to see, and it really didn’t matter. The only real threat you were sensing was that girl from earlier, the one who was watching you when you arrived. You waited with Jang inside, staring out into the water, although you kept your eyes on him. The black veins on his neck suddenly appeared, and he made a comment about being here, but you said nothing on the matter. Soon enough the host appeared, a woman in a wheelchair with that same girl from before right behind her. Now that you got a closer look you felt all the more alert. Whoever she was, her mind was certainly a mess.
Just as she stood behind her master, you did the same. Jang was trying to make small talk, but when the other interrupted him, going straight to business, you felt a shift in his demeanor. Still he seemed to be in control of the conversation. You were getting bits and pieces of information that you couldn’t ask about. Yet it was interesting to know there were many others like you who were created before, and destroyed too. Something was wrong, but you weren’t gonna get any details besides what you heard today. You thought the conversation was finally over, and you would be leaving, but the host just had to ask about you. In that moment you could sense Jang telling you to behave yourself. He merely put a smile on his.
“It’s of no concern.”
“It’s not one of ours. So what-”
“Ours? Didn’t I just say you were retired?” Jang scoffed. “You are still privy to some knowledge, but you have no right to answers of what I do with my personal life.”
“I recognize a foreign mutt when I see one.”
For a moment you could feel tension coming from Jang, and even you took offense to the word. You took a half step forward but Jang held his hand up, telling you to yield. You did as you were told, lowering your head as well.
“I’m afraid that thing behind you is the mutt.” Jang stated. “I can assure you I take good care of my doll.”
That seemed to be the end of it. Jang left without another word and you followed him out. Those outside did the same, and soon enough you were back on the road. He seemed calm and collected once more, just like his usual self.
“What did you get from that?”
“I didn’t like either of them, nor do I trust them.”
“That’s quite irrelevant. Anything important?”
“The host felt very uneasy over the things you told her. She was starting to think of her next steps.”
“Is that so? I’m curious to see what that is.”
After that day you’d travel with Jang at all times. Wherever he was needed, you were there, basically his right hand. Of course everyone always felt a need to ask about you since you were an unfamiliar face, but Jang always gave the same answer. No one needed to know about you, and they seemed to drop it there. You still had your training and kept up your strength. Although you couldn’t deny you had trouble understanding Jang’s work and your position in all this. You never saw much action, just a lot of talking. After one of your sessions though Jang received a call, seeming annoyed, and soon you were both on the move. You were expecting some kind of action, but it was just more talking.
You were driven somewhere with Jang, coming to an empty hillside. Two other vehicles, and other people were there too. You were sensing tension again, but Jang was still annoyed. As you stepped out of the vehicle Jang seemed to know where he was going and as always you followed, but another gentleman stood in his way. He stared him down for a moment, and then glanced up at the hills. You saw someone up there, believing that to be the boss. Another mess of a mind, but more coherence. You could tell everyone around was like you too. After a moment the other yielded and stepped aside to let Jang through.
“Stay.”
You knew that order was for you, slightly bowing your head and taking a step back even though he couldn’t see you. The other gentlemen looked you over, seeming curious, but he kept his thoughts to himself. Still, you weren’t surprised over being compared to a dog again. You waited and watched. You saw a woman come down from the hill, and to your surprise her party left first. Jang remained up on the hill and after a moment you felt him calling you up.
“What did you get?”
“Confidence. A sense of duty, and repayment. She’s determined in her mission.”
“Of course she is.”
There was something going on, something big, but you only had pieces, and none of them really fit together. You did want to ask, but there really was no reason for you to know anything. All you had to do was listen to Jang, and the rest would take care of itself. You’d be alright in the end. So all you did was follow orders and make sure nothing went wrong. This type of life though led to seeing things you didn’t expect, and it was full of dead bodies. You didn’t know what you were investigating, but you came upon a scene that was clearly more than just murder. The bodies around were badly beaten, showing signs of having faced someone with inhuman strength. You had come to learn there were other groups with inhuman individuals, and everyone had their own agenda.
“Anyone alive?”
“No.”
“Shame.”
You were overlooking the bodies, and looking for evidence as to who committed this crime when you suddenly felt someone approaching. You stepped in front of Jang, seeing the black veins on his face as well. Soon enough you saw another man step into view, although he stopped, a cocky grin on his face.
“Wow, aren’t you slow? A little late to the party don’t you think?” The man scoffed. “The older generation really is inferior.”
“You don’t know what you’re talking about!”
“Nobody asked you, brat!”
You don’t really know what got the better of you, but you weren’t going to let this slide. Without orders you chased after this man, and soon enough started a fight. He was enjoying this, but even among that you could still read him. Every strike he attempted was a miss, and you landed a few blows. He even became irrational as you seemed to be easily beating him.
“I don’t know you, but I like you, and should let you in on a secret. You shouldn’t stick with the older generation.”
“That’s dumb advice.” You spat. “In this world you die young, so you should be scared that he’s still alive.”
“I’m not afraid of some old man.”
“You should be.”
You continued to fight him, more upset than before, but when he had a moment to escape he did so. You intended to pursue him, but were held back.
“Enough!”
You turned around to see Jang and the others approaching. You went over to Jang, wanting to tell him that you needed to follow the other to get answers, but instead once you were close he slapped you. The action left you stunned, but you knew to keep your mouth shut. Jang didn’t say anything else, and you followed him as it was your place. You couldn’t read him so you had no idea what awaited you when you returned to base. No one else spoke, and eventually you retreated with Jang to a private room. Once you were alone you were met with another slap to the face, this time strong enough to knock you to the ground.
“What is that for?”
“Speaking out of turn… and disobeying you…”
“If you know so well your crimes, why commit them?”
“I-”
You were cut off as Jang wrapped a hand around your throat and slammed you up against a wall, holding you in place. You struggled to breathe, but his grip was firm.
“You are my doll. You are alive because I allow it.” Jang hissed. “If you wish to remain useful then obey.”
“… sa… sorry… sir…”
Jang dropped you to the floor and you took a deep breath. You hadn’t seen him like this since the day you met, yet you knew you deserved this. You remained on your hands and knees, catching your breath, waiting for a command. Instead Jang knelt down and grabbed your chin, lifting your gaze to meet his. You could see that he was looking you over.
“You do have other uses.” Jang smirked. “You like me, don’t you?”
“… yes…”
Jang chuckled. “I chose a good doll.”
He let go of your chin, following it up with one last slap. It stung worse than the last, but you kept your complaints to yourself. Then he grabbed your face again so you’d look at him.
“Don’t step out of line again.”
“Yes, sir.”
“Good doll.”
Jang caressed your cheek for a moment before gently patting you on the head and leaving you alone. You reached up to your cheek, it was still burning but there was this lingering touch from Jang. A smile appeared on your lips for a moment, but you had to keep your composure. No matter your feelings, you were just Jang’s right hand, his doll. The next day continued as always, but it seemed that everything going on had come to its peak. You and a few others accompanied Jang to an unknown location. You were out in the woods, and soon you saw a farmhouse a ways away. You weren’t sure what was going on, and you heard it all.
There was gunfire and screaming, and all kinds of disasters going on, but you weren’t interfering, at least not yet. At one point Jang pulled his hair up, giving the impression that you would act, but still you remained as spectators. You were itching to throw a punch, seeing that guy from before and wanting a rematch, but that wasn’t going to happen once he was dead. Watching it all, you could finally understand that all the things that had been going on lately were all over some little girl. You didn’t know what was so special about her, but you couldn’t deny that she was powerful.
“What can you tell me?”
“Her power… it’s incredible, and she’s quite focused, but…”
“What?”
“The humans, she cares for them, deeply. There’s a mix of anger and loss.”
“Hm. Attachments can be a good thing.” Jang glanced over at you. “When they’re used properly.”

With Baako being a successful comedian, his wife Anaya is feeling the pressure to advance her career, though she is struggling to decide if she wants to be a singer or a painter. Young Billie is excelling at school and her parents are hoping that once she ages to a teen she will not stray from her A grade and get distracted by boys. Both Baako and Anaya have been discussing moving to a different town and with so many great towns in Simlandia it is proving to be a difficult decision.
