While there's still no reply from Dunk, Joong told chatgpt to analyse a photo of JoongDunk 😂

Dunk finally responded to him after 50 minutes and their replies were an interval of 1-3 minutes

It's so funny how Joong even offered himself and posted all the different photos from his beach vacation. So those photos were NOT for us 😆

And posting a photo of his back with "haven't even tried a bite, how could we know it'd be delicious or not" is crazy 😭😂

In between replies, Dunk also sent a good night voice message with a 😘 which is finally for us since he's sulking? 😂

What rambutan means:

Joong what did you do to have Dunk sulking at you for 3 days??? 🤣🤣😭 He couldn't take it anymore that he had to take it to Twitter and use(?) us to get Dunk to reply him (I mean it worked 😂)

And I remembered how Joong changed 1 month to 1 week so quickly because he knows he can't stand not talking to Dunk for so long 😂

It's indeed a happy 3rd anniversary to Dungjangs! Despite sulking, Dunk still came online to wish us! 💛

goooood morning let's go! be warned that a lot of this is just based on Vibes and idk horoscoping rather than concrete facts, hahaha, but it's good to start thinking about!

💼 - What do they do for a living?

The easy thing to say is "well of course they work for Parks Canada!" but what that actually entails is a huge range of potential occupations. Are they doing fire prevention or invasive species management? are they doing the stereotypical park warden interpretation and guided tours? are they doing routine maintenance? are they driving out at 6 am to man a cash register for a few hours with a summer student or two? are they laundering all those rented bathing suits and cleaning washrooms?

It's easy enough to say "well yeah all of it" and I'm sure with their depth and breadth of experience over the past hundred years they easily could have done a bit of all of it (or, maybe enough to get blacklisted from certain professions for a decade or two, lol)

Also thinking about how they started, Nor's initial "purpose" was for a sanitarium, so even if she's not like a Trained Medical Professional (tm) I feel like she probably still has this long standing interest in people's health. She's always running around doing different things anyway but I think she's a calm presence in a crisis and the person you want to show up with the first aid kit, whether it's from a scrape with wildlife or climbing or a burn from working in a kitchen, etc. Also somewhat ironically, I think her doing more admin work or chilling in the museum/arts centre is like a nice reprieve from being the token expert in Every Job!

Jas started life as an HBC fort - albeit not a super engaged and successful one compared to Ed, so I'm guessing the retail life was never really their strong suit. I also think Jas would have had a somewhat strained relationship with the national park / feds for a long time (partially due to the expulsion of the First Nations and Metis who were the architects of the famous cozy cabin culture of the area, partially due to kind of ignoring the authority of the HBC previously, and partially just not taking Parks Canada rules as seriously as Nor does). However, I do think Jas is a pretty hardcore naturalist and will take any excuse to be up a tree or down a cave, or out maintaining the trails etc., so conservation work with Parks Canada is still a "natural" [cough] fit for them.

🎹 - Do they have any hobbies?

The implication from the above answer is that they both love their work, which kind of makes some obvious overlaps (is hiking and climbing a hobby if its your job? lol)

I think Eleanor - going off on the centre of the arts, of course - is the most likely to be into things like painting and film making (or at least film watching). These are hobbies that kind of force her to sit in one place and mediate for a little while.

I'm tempted to say that one of Jas' takeaways from the HBC life was an interest in textiles - although the image of them crocheting some kind of amigurumi while hanging off the side of a cliff is really funny now that I think of it. But my impression is that they're more into the ephemeral stuff like music/dance than crafting overall.

🎯 -What do they do best?

I think of the two Eleanor is the one who is better at the interpretation part of chatting to visitors, telling them why something is interesting or important or amazing, telling a story in a way that's easy to follow, and also scolding people for interacting with the park in an irresponsible way. She's also the one who picks up other languages reasonably well because she takes the opportunities to use them and to connect with people.

Apart from being the best at napping and sleeping, lol, Jas is probably the best at noticing when something has changed or is out of whack. I think despite the impressions they give other people that they're actually incredibly observant and will be the first to notice the change in season, or when there's an improvement in an ecological recovery zone/species, or even when someone is acting differently or has a new haircut. They're also just bizarrely good at navigation as part of this - Jas is the person you want on hand when you're lost in the dark (kind of like a contemporary David Thompson? hahaha)

Unfortunately i have no clue if that will be continued. I want to but I haven’t written for it in I think… 8 months 😭 I have no idea where it was going, I read back and a lot of things don’t make sense. A lot of things trail off weird or details were forgotten.

And don’t worry I don’t see you as pressuring me. I understand I kind of just moved on from the twilight fandom ngl.

Like reader was supposed to have a necklace, that was never talked about again.

She was supposed to have piercings and certain things that again don’t get talked about😭 her personality has changed to a place I don’t like.

I’m surprised people enjoy it because I find so many problems with it😭😭😭 but I started that story I want to say back in 2023 or 2022.

But I will say I’ve been seeing a lot more interactions with the story lately where I might just finish it off for you guys. We shall see I don’t know yet😛

Typically Cassandra was one to sleep in until her alarm went off, and even then it often went through multiple cycles of snooze before she awoke. She'd prefer staying up late than waking up early. However, since she started full swing into her pregnancy, she had been sleeping earlier, taking naps, and sleeping lighter at night. Perhaps it was just the hormones, or her body being watchful incase she felt ill suddenly, or a combination of both.

Feeling his hand on her side, and eventually her stomach, brought a hidden smile on her face as she nuzzled slightly into the pillow with a bit of a mewing sound as she willed herself to roll over. She didn't mind his touch, but right there, in that moment, she wanted to curl into him.

Eyes still closed as she settled onto her side, feeling his lips on hers as she returned the kiss. Leaning into it lazily as her hand rested on the side of his neck as she inhaled through her nose. Pulling back just enough to whisper a "good morning," shat was barely audibly as she was still half asleep. She continued towards her goal, pulling herself to cuddle into his front, head on the pillow just before her and legs shifting to curl into his. She knew soon laying face-to-face would be much harder to do, so she wanted to savor it.

Her typical attire made covering up her pregnancy easy, skirts and loose fitting shirts and sweaters, plus at work she was in scrubs and an apron most of the time. Not because of any shame, but wanting to keep it more between them, especially early on. Nuzzling a bit more as she slowly opened her eyes to look up at him.

"Today is the first day of the second trimester."

It was also great "hunting grounds" for his urges for a certain side of him. The one in front of him was cute and pretty, until he opened his mouth. Even though the stranger was giving off the douche personality, Elijah did want to give the other the chance to back off and calm down. Alcohol did bring out the worst in people after all, so perhaps that was the cause. Of course, the other wanted to fall right into his stereotypical role.

"Like I said. It's time for you to pay your tab and finish drinking," he said as he stared hard into those pretty blue eyes. Anyone else would think Elijah was just intimidating, but the other would see a swirl inside the grey eyes. "Go on. Then come right back here. You want to make it up to me for giving me trouble inside that pretty fancy car you rolled up in," he ordered before ending the compulsion.

If anyone is inspired by your summer reading video to want a color related fantasy dystopia read, Fforde's Shades of Grey is pretty interesting and finally got a second installment recently—I think last year.

(not to be confused with the erotica series! although it does sometimes touch on sexuality)

We love a thematic read! I haven't read Shades of Grey but I did quite enjoy Fforde's The Eyre Affair.
