helloooo I’m alive- I’ve just been focusing on my Instagram account lol. I’ll try to post some recent stuff to catch up. Here’s a piece I made for Jassa Week since the aesthetic seemed interesting. It was a pain in the butt to do and took forever but was also a fun challenge.

Jassa Appreciation Week Day 1: The Queen and The General

I’m 5 days late but oh well, I’m pretty much always late for these, hope you guys like it <3

I Have two more illustrations coming up this week/the next week (let’s face it I’m slow ;-;)

DAY 1: THE QUEEN AND THE GENERAL

When leaving her, Jurian kisses her ring finger as a promise to return to her

When kissing, Vassa tugs at Jurian’s bottom lip, which makes him moan

Their thing is to press their foreheads together when speaking intimately

Jurian is a traditional romantic so he kisses Vassa’s forehead and the back of her hand while holding her gaze, which makes her stomach flutter

In public, he shows Vassa affection in subtle ways by giving her soothing touches

When Jurian places his hands on Vassa’s shoulders, it puts her at ease

In public, he only kisses her on the forehead but in private, his kisses are deep and needy

He plays with Vassa’s hands because that’s his favorite part of her

Jurian’s arms are Vassa’s favorite part of him. She likes to run her hands up and down his arms. And when they sit side by side, she wraps her arms around one of his and leans her head against it

Vassa squeezes Jurian’s hand as a way to reassure him

Vassa hugs him from behind

When they’re in bed, Jurian pulls Vassa on top of him and kisses the top of her head

Vassa gives Jurian back massages

Jurian has trouble sleeping at night so Vassa makes him tea. The first time she did this he teased that it was “unqueenly of her”

One month until we release the prompts for Jassa Week, and also one month until the giveaway for a Jassa commission! As we get closer to that time, we want to celebrate creators who have taken time and effort to make content for Jassa. This first post will be highlighting some fanfictions on AO3!

If any of the authors that I have listed below have social medias that would like to be tagged, as well, please do not hesitate to reach out!

Jurian and Vassa have come to support Elain and Lucien on their first Calanmai despite being the only two humans in attendance. Starving and early, Jurian finds a pie tin in the kitchen and assures Vassa no one will care if they take a piece and go for a walk in the garden. Jurian is about to learn just how wrong he can be.

Leading up to Jassa Week, we want to highlight artists, writers, content creators, et cetera., who have made Jassa content! If you would like your work shared on any of our social media platforms, please message us via dm (on any of our socials @/jassaweek) with a link to your work!

We are already planning a series leading up to JW25 where we will highlight artists, both in and out of the fandom, with their commission prices, examples of their work, et cetera. If you know of any artists who you would like to be featured—or if you are an artist who would like to be featured—please do not hesitate to reach out!

We are also interested in doing a small series of writing prompts each month until Jassa Week where writers and crafters can share their work! Essentially, these would be smaller writing prompts catered towards Jassa, and can be responded to on Tumblr, or on any fanfiction sharing site! Would this be something that everyone would be interested in? (Playlist creators and artists, feel free to join this, as well!)

Hello! While we have not yet posted any of the event rules—coming soon—we encourage anything relating to Jassa to be posted! The Band of Exiles are integral to them and their story, and we cannot wait to see more of them that week! Lucien Vanserra is most certainly welcomed in any capacity during this week.

Official rules and guidelines for the event, as well as a small Q/A, will be posted this week! Feel free to ask us any questions that we can either answer here, or in our Q/A!

DAY 2: CURSES

DAY 6: ALTERNATE UNIVERSE

Jassa AUs have been taking up a lot of space in my brain lately. One is a 1920s AU with Jurian being a disgraced general turned bootlegger and Vassa being from a political family.

Another one is a Sleeping with the Enemy/serial killer AU with Vassa being trapped in an abusive marriage with Koschei until he’s arrested for the murders of various women.

A less developed idea I have is Jurian and Vassa attending a private college and being rivals.

DAY 4: FUTURE HOPES/THEORIES

I hope Jurian and Vassa end up ruling over the Mortal Realm when everything is over with because they seem to be the only human characters who care about the humans. The other Mortal Queens are untrustworthy as of right now and I don’t see how SJM can have Vassa forgive them for what they did to her, so it only makes sense to me if they’re dealt with somehow to remove them from power.

And since the Wall was never meant to last, its destruction can allow humans and fae to co-exist. Plus because Jassa is friends with Lucien, I think this will bridge connections between the Mortal Realm and Prythian.
