All about "La Concha"

The city of San Sebastian built its fame as a seaside resort thanks to the bay of La Concha (Kontxako badia, in Basque), very well protected from the harsh conditions that the Bay of Biscay distributes equally to the Cantabrian and Gascon coasts.

San Sebastian (Donostia, in Basque) is a city of strategic points that separate on both sides spaces with a very different character. The Old Quarter separates the bay of La Concha from the beach of Zurriola, with the help of the Urumea River, which flows next to the peninsula that culminates in Mount Urgull. The same river separates the neighborhood of Gros, located behind the surfing beach of Zurriola and the giant blocks of steel and glass of the Kursaal complex, the widening of the city inland.

In the middle of the entrance to the bay, the island of Santa Clara cuts off the onslaught of the sea, but without preventing the tides from creating the predictable ups and downs of the sea level inside the Concha. This makes the Bay of Biscay dangerous even at the very foot of the city.

Between the long beach of La Concha and Ondarreta, which extends to the foot of Mount Igeldo, which closes the bay on its western side, the rocks go into the sea. But this only happens at high tide. When the tide is low, you can move from one beach to another without danger.

And precisely on these rocks stands the Miramar Palace (Miramar Jauregia, in Basque). It is an exceptional viewpoint, chosen by the Spanish Queen Maria Cristina to enjoy the summer conditions that Donostia offered to visitors with the necessary comforts for her and her family and courtiers.

The palace, surrounded by a park that offers views of both the bay and the surrounding mountains and the promenade that runs parallel to the beaches, is an excellent place to admire the entire city. From there you can see from the sculptural ensemble of Eduardo Chillida's Comb of the Wind, on the western edge of the coastline, to Jorge Oteiza's Empty Building, at the eastern end of the bay, almost leaving the island of Santa Clara behind, at the foot of Mount Urgull and facing the open sea.

The Miramar building recalls ancient times, and its garden and the forest that extends in some corners make one think -for those who do not know it- that San Sebastian is far, far away, also in time.

HELLO!!! THANKS FOR SUBMITTING THIS ASK!!

Oh boy, where do I fucking begin? I have over 50 main characters in Extinct Galactic alone and I do not know which ones to talk about and I definitely cannot ramble about them all! (I will do separate intros to each character later)

So maybe I will just list.... some unique characters? (Well, fuck me they are all unique!!!)

Maybe let’s just start with Amadeus!

Amadeus was initially a human (also known as Dunam) living on Milkyway until the very very sad day that turned him into an Elluminum against his will and was sent to galaxy Ellumina where he was treated like a prisoner for a fairly good amount of time since Elluminums were trying to figure out how did he became one of them just like that!! He is a shape-shifter, one of the last two on galaxy Ellumina actually and his shape-shifiting abilities has no limits to going as far as being able to shift his fist into a machine gun! He can also send bursts of lightning (a bit like Thor) but ti drains him out so he doesn’t do it much! He is also pretty fast, actually one of the fastest Elluminums there is!! In the end he falls in love with the King’s daughter since she is actually his soulmate and the King being the ‘tantrum-throwing-asshole’ he is..... mad.... as fuck... to say the least.....

next up is Frontress Pulse!!

Le smol (not so small actually) sarcastic bean who everyone loves and is always misunderstood! He is an Elluminum and a Varison, part of the V which are the strongest beings on Galaxy Ellumina and he is the one who found Amadeus after he was chucked into Ellumina and gave him a place to stay at his house! He has the ability to manipulate crystals and crystalline salts (that includes diamonds too) (technically he can go as far as earth and soil but it drains him) He can erase memories and he can also read the fragments of memories people leave laying around by contact. He has a diamond bow that only he can use since he can change the characteristics of diamond to be more elastic than it really is! He is in a very very very toxic abusive relationship with Lucy Wave but he cannot exactly get out of it :’(

Xerzie Vaxt

Also Elluminum and a Varison! He has the ability to control time like for example freeze it! But he refuses to go back in time to avoid altering timelines. He also has the ability to sense changes in the world around him, so he can tell if somebody is coming his way from miles miles MILES away! His weapon is a scythe which he is too attached to.... one might think he is married to his scythe by the amount of attachment and affection he has for the bloody thing! He is in no relationships [single as a pringle.] but he also has a very very very VERY dark past that one should definitely stir away from!

Everybody likes a strong, dependent, authoritative woman who is not afraid to take off her slipper and smack the most powerful two high-beings in the universe on the head with it (Elijah and Ajax) She is an Elluminum and she works as the head of maids in the Royal palace!

Etha Bibliotheca

The current reincarnation of the all-seeing, all-knowing, omniscient Bibliotheca, keeper of all knowledge, arts and sciences. She resides on planet Cosmos on Ellumina, specifically in her palace of knowledge that defies every law of physics called, The Jauregia. She does not fight but she will teach you how to efficiently cut a bitch lmao.
