Jaeha's alive for sure. He also disappeared right after he was shot by an arrow in chapter 242 when Kyoga saw him in dragon form. So I refuse to believe he's dead. He has been concerned about his longevity bcoz his predecessor died at a young age, and he's now transforming into a dragon involuntarily making matters worse for him and making him believe it's really the end. where's Zeno and Shinah? 😥 give my babies some break! 😩
I believe that not all of Yona's dreams will or should come true; now that she realises her ability, she shouldn't take her dreams lightly, I guess she needs to find ALL means to prevent them. she must, bcoz imma riot if they all die wtfff!!! what in the isayama is this!!

Hello!!! I was wondering if you could write Hanju Gu x Reader and Jeaha Han x Reader separately, where the reader is female but due to some traumatic experience Reader hides her face and acts like a guy, not knowing that the reader is female they befriend her, recruiting her into their gang, during a big fight between gangs her mask breaks off, and they find out that they are actually female, and if you can please make the reader badass.
I hope it is not too much and please do not mind my English it is not my first language.

Hajun Gu:
Hajun should've known that she were a girl at first but he brushed it off, he always thought it was odd that her voice was slightly much higher than the other guys.
Or how there was a slight curve whenever she wore a shirt, how her chest seemed slightly round than the others guy who also had big chest. Everything about her basically screams girl.
But he ignored it.
She was good at fighting, flexible, fast and light in her feet. Much quicker than the fastest guy he see, especially Haru Seong. But it was probably because of how small and light that made it easier for her to navigate faster during fights.
But it was probably because of how she always had a hat and a mask on, basically hiding her identity.
So when the big fight happened between East and West, the reveal of her gender was shown.
The mask and hat being taken by some of the East members and Hajun was with [Name] when it happened, but Hajun noticed something when her gender identity was reveal. And that was fear.
She was quick to beat the members up before they even got the chance to fight.
And now, Hajun was standing as he stared at her back. She was slightly shaking and nervous and it made Hajun want to comfort her. "[Name]?" The girl flinched when he called out to her, she slowly turned and look at Hajun, and he could see it clearly. The fear in her eyes and Hajun wanted to comfort her. Reassure her that everything was alright.
The same she did when he got his ass kicked by Suhyeon, he slowly walked towards her but she took a step forward. Hajun knew she was going to run away after this. "Wait... don't go.." Hajun said as [Name] looked away and clenched her fist together. "... You're a girl? The entire time..?" Hajun said as [Name] looked down on the ground and nodded, she bit her bottom lip. "Yes... the entire time..." [Name] said as Hajun nodded.
The two were able to settle down, in a private area. She was wearing her cap as she adjusted her hair, she was fiddling with the mask. Hajun leaning against the wall as she was sitting down on the stairs.
His arms crossed as he stared down at her. "Why..? Why did you hide your identity? Specifically your gender identity?" He asked as [Name] looked down on the ground, Hajun could see that she was slightly shaking.
He sighed, maybe he shouldn't ask now especially since he had just found out [Name] was a girl.
"You know what... you can tell me some other ti-" "You won't tell the others if I do?" Hajun looked at her in confusion before he shook his head. "No, no... of course not. I won't tell the others if you don't want me too..." Hajun said as [Name] looked at him.
He could see the reassurance in her eyes, she was quiet before she quietly spoke. ".... I think... you should know... after all... we've known each other since middle school..." [Name] said as Hajun seem surprised.
"Are you sure?" "Yeah..." [Name] told Hajun everything, the reason on why she did her identity and hid it from everyone.
She was assaulted, when she was in middle school. Before she met Hajun, she went to a different school. She was assaulted by a bunch of guys one day and she was traumatized, she couldn't get the feeling away.
She was scared that if she sleeps, she'll woke up one day with the men standing by her bedside. It scared her, it scared her so much. She constantly walked around in edge after what happened, overthinking and being cautious.
[Name] eventually made the decision to hid her identity and learned on how to fight, she felt that if she hid her identity then she won't get assaulted and felt that if she fought then nobody would bother her ever.
She feels this was the only way for her to prevent from being assaulted once more, she didn't want to relive that experience once more. [Name] wanted to make sure that nobody would ever mess with her.
[Name] knew that if she fights with her gender identity revealed, she would still be constantly harassed by the men around her. That's why she also hid her gender identity.
After she finished telling her story, Hajun stared at her in shock. "So... that's why.." Hajun said as she nodded, her head put down. Hajun sighed and knelt in front of her and lightly ruffled her hair.
"I won't tell the others..." Hajun said as [Name] looked up at him. "Thank you..." She said as Hajun smiled. "I'll keep your secret, I promise. I'll make sure of it..." [Name] felt tears prickling in her eyes as Hajun wiped it away. "Don't worry... and I'll make sure no one touch you in that way ever again."

Jaeha Han:
Jaeha always had a inkling suspicions. I mean that man is smart as hell. Nothing could by pass him except for the betrayal of Sikyung.
Their eyes widened when the cap and mask fell down to the ground after Sikyung took it off her, it shocked them especially Jaeha. It confirmed his suspicious about [Name] genders.
"You... you were a girl the entire time...?" Sikyung said with his eyes widened but he dodged another kick from [Name], the anger and frustration in her eyes were obvious. The fact her gender identity was revealed, it frustrated her to no end.
Sikyung kept dodging her kicks and punch but it was slowly started to get overwhelming for Sikyung, she was fight. No doubt, flexible too. Since her body was small and light, she could move quicker.
As she raised her leg to kick him in his shoulders, he held her leg and was about to throw her before she spin her body and kicked him across the face.
Sikyung felt his face, the kick hurt a lot. He hasn't seen it before, but it was clear she had experience from fighting someone.
"That shit hurts... I never thought you would be a girl [Name]. Any reason why you hid it?" Sikyung said as [Name] only glared at him before he got a call.
He eventually left as it was quiet before everyone started to eventually got up and left, to get their injuries treated. Jaeha kept staring at [Name] even after they got into a meeting, and they left as Jaeha and [Name] walked down the same path as always.
...
"So, you're a girl." Jaeha said as [Name] looked up at him before she nodded. It was quiet for a moment before [Name] spoke out once more.
"... are you mad that I kept it as a secret?" She asked as Jaeha chuckled as he shook his head. "Nope, not made. Just curious.. on why you hid your gender identity..." Jaeha said as he blew a smoke.
[Name] hummed and nodded his head. "Can't blame you for getting curious..." She said as Jaeha looked down at her. It went back to being quiet once more.
Jaeha didn't want to pressure her on telling him, he'll wait. [Name] has always been by his side ever since she joined him, she was loyal and followed and didn't ask anything.
So, he'll wait until she tells him.
But for now, he'll just revel at the fact that his suspicions were correct that [Name] was indeed girl. He blew a smoke before he felt [Name] stopped walking, he turned around and stared at [Name]. "[Name]?" Jaeha called out. "Is something wrong?" ... "My father..." Jaeha tilted his head. "What about him?" He asked as he walked towards [Name] and stood in front of her, she frowned as she clenched her first. "He always wanted a boy... he forced me to be one..." She said as Jaeha seemed shock at the revelation.
"Even now that he's dead... I can't seem... to get away from this... being a boy... pretending to be one..." [Name] said as Jaeha frowned, he can feel the pain and desperation in her voice. "It's just that.... every time I act like a girl or... be a girl out in the public... I can hear his voice in the back of my mind... his words echoing... it haunts me..." She said as she held her arms.
"I... I just wan to live normally... but I just can't..." [Name] said as Jaehe frowned as he felt his heart tug at the sound of her voice, he walked towards her and pulled her into a hug. Catching [Name] off guard at what Jaeha just did, his hug tightened. "I'll be here for you.." Jaeha whispered against her ear as her eyes widened at his words. "Every step into the way... I'll make you'll feel comfortable being yourself... not hiding behind something you aren't.." Jaeha said as she felt her eyes watered, she buried her face against his shoulder. "I promise you..."

Ouryuu Zeno (yellow dragon), Zeno was once a priest, he took blood from a dragon and became a 'dragon warrior'. Zeno agreed to accept the dragon's blood to help King Hiyuu defeat the human rebellion. Hiryuu was a red dragon who took the form of a human because he loved them so much, even after their betrayal he still loved them and refused to return to the heavens. The dragons didn't want to lose him either, so they gave their blood and four excellent people drank the dragons's blood.
Zeno is my most beloved dragon of all! He gained immortality, his body was like steel, but before that he had to be wounded, pierced, his legs/arms and head cut off, which regrew to activate the dragon's power. He gained immortality in the process. He lost his beloved brothers and got married. Zeno was briefly happy with his wife, who died because she had a terminal illness. He… lay beside her for a long time… did not leave her for a long time, then traveled aimlessly, saw wars begin, saw many deaths, although he could not die himself. He saw how the generation of dragon warriors was treated, and he understood how he was to die. Hiryuu's Yona reincarnation was his salvation, but not before he took with him new brothers who had reached their limit.

Zeno....
Tumblr media
When they tried to stop him. He said it.
Tumblr media
He wanted to end his suffering as well as the dragons'. I can't accuse him for anything because he went through hell, everyone he loved died and the same would happen to Yona, Haku and their new dragon brothers. They would die and he would stay. He simply couldn't stand it once again and decided to take action. I can't blame him! I CAN'T, even if my heart breaks for what Jeaha, Kija, Shin Ah, Haku and Yona did. I love them all, I hate to see them suffer, but I will side with Zeno here, and I'm not going to blame him for anything. If it was to help him die and be reunited with his brothers and wife and stop suffering and losing everyone he loves, my heart goes out to him, but I'm also with Yona and Haku.
Zeno didn't even use their names because there would be no point in being attached to them, knowing that he would allow himself to be hurt again and condemn himself and the dragon generation to more suffering that they experienced from humans (except Kija), he was extremely lucky.
You know who else I can't blame? he does bad deeds, fights against fate for a girl who loves and wants to protect her and his brother! Although he has proven many times that killing the supernatural is the right thing, he cannot leave and suffers for 50 years, not 2,000 like Zeno. But he also has his reasons and he keeps fighting even though he fails all the time.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Although it is unknown why Amane does this. It's no secret that he would do it to make Tsukasa protect. Just like Zeno,Amane in order to save nene's life, he was ready to be one of the half-guilty sacrifices for her friend. He agreed to fulfill her wish, knowing what she had to do. Just like he imprisoned her in a perfect arc to protect her so she could live in this fictional world. he killed his brother for some reason, but wanting to protect him, he went with him and protected him all the time, which he also admitted. Both are desperate to the point that they are willing to risk everything for the people they love, to help end suffering in a truly extreme way or to save the life of the person they love.
I can't blame them for their actions and I won't.
With Zeno it's harder for me to go through this because I love Jeaha, Shinha, Zeno, Yona and Haku. And their hurt and pain hurts me, but I understand Zeno and I'm not really going to blame him for anything. Likewise, I'm not going to blame Amane. They do what they want and how they want so that they can finish and save what is important to them even if it is bad and extremely painful! I understand THEM! and I'm on THEIR SIDE! But I also hope that Yona and Haku will find a way to save them! Just like I hope Amane will stop and get to Tsukasa. Even if I know what they are doing is wrong, I will support them and I will be on their side and I will not criticize any of them!

I'm sure absolutely nothing will go wrong with any of these missions.
I'm surprised Rina isn't on team giant zombie, but that's likely because she's going where Token Guy/Min-soo I think I don't know is going and he's all set on having that heart to hear the Jeaha. Plus Chaerin is technically more dangerous.

This was the first thing that popped up on my mind when i watched the series before, and this is the reason why i found jeaha's character interesting cs he seems the only one who questions his bound with yona and that everything he feels is because of dragon blood, and he was the only one who tried to fight his fate.
But i still think that even if their connection to yona as hiryuu and his servants was gone, they will still like her and be with her and that's the whole thing behind the hhb and how they were a family in the first place. They have no one but eo. So yeah, i think the only thing that will change is that their rs will be healthy cs we won't find kija worshipping her as he used to do, maybe. Even tho i doubt anything will change really.
Or, since Kusanagi seems to take from aot, there is a possibility that after all of that everyone will forget about hiryuu/ yona and the only person who will always remember her is hak.
The cherry to add on top of the "Yona Is Selfish" discourse is that the dragons aren't even her real friends.
THEY WERE LITERALLY MAGICALLY COMPELLED TO FOLLOW HER.
Kija wouldn't have left his village if Yona just a girl had asked him. Or even Yona the princess, if her hair hadn't been red and the sight of her hadn't moved the dragon blood in him.
The three of them are magically bespelled to follow Yona and bond with her, and Zeno has to tag along because she's possibly the only person who can end his misery.
So Yona convinces the Hiryuu of the past to condemn hundreds of generations of dragons to early death just so she could meet her "friends"... Who are really her slaves. Who would've had a potentially happy and fulfilling life if not for her. Whom she had searched out just so she can have "power" and not put Hak in danger. Not only they wouldn't have cared for her, but she wouldn't have cared for them either.
I swear if the genders were reversed and it was a red-haired prince with three dragon women who are magically bound to protect him and serve him, and they fall in love with him in a perfect exemplification of the Stockholm Syndrome - no one would've had any doubt how yuck it is. But the MC is a woman and therefore it's progressive and feminist, and go girl!
LMAO.
At least the original dragons had a choice whether or not to drink dragon blood. None of their descendants had any choice.

If there's one thing I'd change about that chapter, it's Yona not reflecting enough on Hiryuu's proposal and responding immediately, which could've been interpreted as her being selfish and immature by some people.
Otherwise Yona is in no place to rewrite history and erase the existence of hundreds of people. Yes, the dragons and descendants suffered but they also had happy moments in their lives. We saw that with Yonhi, Soowon, Mei-Nyan, Jeaha, Kija, Shinha, Zeno. They all had "someone" or "something" that made them happy in life. Is it Yona's place to decide that their pain outweighed their happiness? and thus they should all be erased from existence?
What happened already happened and we can only work to make the future better. I'm sure that if Yona went along with Hiryuu's plan, we'll have as much people complaining about her "murdering" Soowon, Mei-Nyan and the four dragons as those who are currently calling her selfish.
hm. i apparently have an unpopular opinion about yona’s decision during her conversation with hiryuu…… like. obviously she’s motivated by the desire to save her friends—she loves them and cares about them deeply and is scared of losing them—and there’s some selfishness in that (on a more facetious note though, god forbid teenage girls do anything i guess…). but the interpretation of her decision as selfish to the point of cruelty and/or naïveté just doesn’t sit right with me. like there is no solution to the conundrum she was presented with that doesn’t involve tragedy. and i’m never, ever letting anyone forget that jaeha, gija, and sinha were never given a choice regarding zeno’s whole murder-suicide plan, and they don’t regret being alive, so wouldn’t changing the past and effectively erasing them from existence (when they already have no agency atm!!!!) be so much more cruel? wouldn’t discarding two millennia worth of lives, regardless of how painful they’d been, be so much more cruel? does a life lived not matter because there was suffering?
and yona values life, even when it hurts, so she was never gonna make a different choice, and i just don't think that that's extremely selfish or naïve of her; the dragon warriors are not just vessels for the gods, they're people, and they don't deserve to be erased because the gods don't care about the pain they cause, and she can't confront the gods in the dream realm, she has to do it in her present which can't exist if she changes it! (also on a purely narrative level, any other choice would've basically rendered 40+ volumes of the story pointless.) and besides, it's more interesting to focus on trying to make things better rather than rewriting the past, and she'll have to sacrifice something to save everyone (the part of her that's a reincarnation of hiryuu, obviously, and possibly something more) which will even things out anyway.

Imo, if Hiryuu that time tried to put the dragon cycle to an end, he himself had to return to the heaven as that's the sole reason why those dragon gods created the warriors in the first place...
We don't know about that. He never talked about returning to heaven, just putting an end to the dragon cycle. Maybe he would've explained things out and asked the dragons not to have children so their powers won't get passed on?
In any case, the method he intended to apply involved cutting down the dragons' lineage, because Yona was afraid that her friends will no longer exist. She asked Hiryuu to not put an end to them because she wanted them to exist. If Hiryuu, like you said, merely planned to return to heaven, it wouldn't have prevented Kija, Jeaha and Shinha from existing. So Yona's request would've had no sense.
I think it'd be kouren's sister (forgot her name) rather than Soo-Won who'd get the credit since it was initially her but not Yona's idea to have the negotiations & Soo-Won agreed to that...
Well, she would've never managed to do it without Yona's help. Remember that she asked for the hhb's help because she thought they were close to Soowon?
Anyways, personally I don't like the idea of this memory erase thingy, as it'd alter a lot of things which I think Kusa won't be having the time to properly execute...
Fair enough. I thought it was worth discussing though.
Theory about the "Price to pay"
Spoilers 'till chapter 260
So we're finally at the point where Yona has to talk to the dragon gods herself. We knew this was bound to happen and it was honestly the most logical turn of events. What we don't know however is the price she'll have to pay to get such a wish fulfilled.
Two theories come to mind:
1/ The first and most popular one is that Yona will have to leave the mortal realm and return to heaven to be the Crimson dragon King again.
No need for the dragon warriors anymore, they'll simply lose their powers, and the gods can finally have Yona back like they always wanted, which could be the interpretation of the last line from the prophecy "And The Red Dragon Shall Return At Dawn".
This theory, although logical, is just too cruel. Akayona is not a tragedy, I can't imagine Kusanagi will end a story about found family, self growth and overcoming your trauma with the death of the main character. I desperately tried to find another suitable price that didn't envolve Yona sacrificing herself, which leads us to the second theory:
2/Yona gets to stay on earth, but all the people she knew forget about her. I know this might sound just as cruel if not more than the previous one, but please hear me out 'till the end!!!!
Yona had done much more to the country as a normal girl than a princess. She went to different tribes on foot, bonded with peasants, pretended to be a bandit, pirate, an entertainer... etc, and fought off traffickers and dealers without ever mentioning she was a princess. Yes those people she helped will probably forget about her, but she can return to them and help them while being herself again. She doesn't need recognition as "Princess Yona". She draws people no matter her title.
On the other, since she'll no longer possess warriors with divine powers, she won't be a target for greedy individuals or people from enemy nations, so the gods can rest assured about her safety.
Lastly, everyone forgetting about her means that the red dragon no longer exists on earth. It's like his memory left the mortal realm and ascended to heaven again "And The Red Dragon Shall Return At Dawn". This could be an interpretation of the prophecy. The red dragon won't literally return to heaven. It's his memory that will leave people's minds and return to be a property of the heaven.
Now, even though I said that everyone will forget about Yona, I'm sure there'll be one exception to this rule. Only one individual will never forget about Yona while everyone else will, and it's Hak. The first reason is obviously the romance that'll just get reset to zero if he forgets about her. I mean, knowing  him he'll probably fall in love with her again, but it's like all their moments and all the development in their relationship will disappear and restart from zero which is something a lot of readers won't accept.
The second and most powerful reason (literally the reason that made me write  this post) is that one scene from chapter 25 that everyone hated. Remember when Yona asked Hak to be the only one to call her "Princess"? Remember when she told him even if EVERYONE IN THE COUNTRY FORGETS ABOUT HER, HE HAS TO BE THE ONLY ONE WHO REMEMBERS?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What if that scene was actually foreshadowing the ending of the series? That everyone will forget about who Yona was, and that he will be the only one to remember? Ofc I'm sure it won't be that easy. Hak will probably have to pass some kind of test to prove that he's worthy of remembering Yona, but I'm sure he'll succeed and the gods will begrudgingly yield to his request so Yona won't live a sad and lonely life after they cast their spell.
Ofc I'm aware this is still a cruel predicament. The family she fought so hard to save will forget about her, but she'll be able to start a new relationship with them. It'll prove that their bond was always genuine, that it had nothing to do with the dragons' blood, and I'm sure they'll love her as much as they loved her before.
The country also will forget about princess Yona. Her achievements will probably all be attributed to Soowon (but it's not like she cares about fame or recognition anyway).
Speaking of Soowon, it's kinda fucked up that he gets to forget the girl he hurt so much. He'll forget that he ever had a cousin, that it was her father he murdered that night, that she was the one who got the gods to heal the descendants from the Crimson illness...etc, It's unfair but we can't do much about it I guess.
What do you guys think about this theory? Would you be okay with it if it happened at the end?
