JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Result: National Testing Agency (NTA) today released the result of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 for Session 2. Candidates who appeared for the JEE Main 2024 Session 2 (April session) can now check their results on the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in. In the 2024 examinations, a total of 9.24 lakh candidates registered, of which 8.2 lakh appeared for the JEE Main.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has enhanced the "Abhyas Application" with multiple new features, including the addition of full tests and chapter-wise tests specifically designed for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET).

The agency has introduced 193 Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and 204 National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) full mock tests on the "Abhyas Application," aiming to boost students' exam preparation.

The agency has added 63 Chapter-wise tests for JEE Main and 59 Chapter-wise tests for NEET, aligning with the new pattern for upcoming entrance exams.

"Over the past two years, the "Abhyas Application" has significantly benefited students preparing for exams like JEE Main, NEET, and others," the agency said.

The agency expressed its commitment to supporting students by updating the app with a range of new features, including full tests and chapter-wise tests tailored specifically for JEE Main and NEET exams.

The National Test Abhyas app integrates relevant academic content with an AI-driven personalised adaptive learning platform, facilitating improved performance for students. Designed with a user-friendly interface, the app simplifies the preparation process. Upon download and installation, the app requests necessary permissions for login, ensuring smooth access for students.

JEE Main 2024 Kicks Off: Guidelines and Exam Day Instructions for Over 12 Lakh Candidates

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 commenced with its first session, featuring the paper 2 examination covering BArch (2A) and BPlanning (2B) papers. The JEE Main Paper 1 exam is slated to start on January 27, running until February 1, 2024. With over 12 lakh candidates registered, here are the essential guidelines for the exam days.

The JEE Main 2024 is divided into two phases, the first occurring in January and the second in April, with Session 1 results anticipated in February. The application window for the JEE Main 2024-second session will open on February 2 and close on March 2, 2024.

This year, stringent measures include frisking and biometric attendance even during restroom breaks. Candidates must undergo mandatory frisking and biometrics again after a bio-break.

Items to Carry for JEE Main 2024:

Admit card printed from the NTA website on A4 sized paper.

Affix a passport-size photograph on the Attendance Sheet matching the one uploaded with the Online Application Form.

Original and valid photo ID proof (PAN card, driving licence, voter ID, passport, Aadhaar card with photograph, e-Aadhaar, ration card, or 12th class admit card).

Ensure the question paper aligns with the subject/medium specified in your Admit Card.

For the Drawing Test — Part III of BArch., bring a Geometry Box Set, pencils, erasers, and either colour pencils or crayons. Watercolours on drawing sheets are strictly prohibited.

Prohibited Items:

Instruments/geometry/pencil boxes, handbags, purses.

Any paper/stationery/textual material (printed or written), food, and water.

Mobile phones, earphones, microphones, pagers, calculators, DocuPens, slide rules, log tables, cameras, tape recorders.

Wearing/carrying any type of watch, including electronic watches with calculator features, metallic items, or electronic gadgets/devices into the Examination Hall/Room.

Special Considerations: Students with diabetes can bring essential items like sugar tablets, fruits, and transparent water bottles. However, packed foods like chocolates, candies, sandwiches, etc., are not allowed.

JEE Main 2024 April 12 Exam Live: Paper 2 begins; exam analysis, answer key PDF soon

The National Testing Agency has commenced the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 paper 2 for the April session at 9 am. The BArch, BPlan exams will continue till 12:30 PM. Whereas, 210 minutes are allotted in case the candidates appear for both papers - (Paper 2A and 2B).

Candidates must carry the JEE Main admit card, a valid photo id, and a self-declaration form to the test centre. The link to download the admit card for JEE Main 2024 session 2 is activated on the website, jeemain. To download the JEE Main admit card session 2, candidates have to provide the register number and date of birth.

Candidates must avoid any kind of malpractice during the examination. NTA has introduced biometric, frisking, CCTV and jammer services to conduct the examination smoothly.

Various coaching institutes will release the JEE Main 12 April exam analysis after the conclusion of the exam. Moreover, memory-based JEE Main questions with solutions will be released by coaching institutes. Candidates can use the questions with solutions to verify their answers and predict the probable scores.

The official JEE Main answer key for session 2 is expected to be released in the last week of April 2024. JEE Mains result 2024 session 2 will be published on April 25.
