Ertugrul Friend Abdul Rehman Ghazi donating Blood for Pakistani Thalassemia Children's in Karachi #ErtugrulFriend #AbdulRehmanGhazi #ThalassemiaChildren Renowned Turkish actor Celal Al, who played the role of Abdur Rehman Alp in famous Turkish drama serial Dirilis: Ertugrul, on Sunday visited Omair-Sana Foundation (OSF) and Children's Hospital Karachi in Gulshan-e-Iqbal and donated blood for children diagnosed with thalassemia. “I’m donating my blood for the Pakistani children suffering from thalassemia. This will not only strengthen the bond between Turkey and Pakistan but will also encourage others to donate blood for those who need blood donations for living normal lives,” he said, during his visit on the invitation of administrations of both the health facilities. Accompanied by producer of the epic serial Kemal Tekdin, the Turkish actor recited verses from the Holy Quran, raised slogans which he chanted in the drama serial and also shouted "Jeevey Jeevey Pakistan", "Pakistan-Turkey friendship zindabad" and vowed to come visit Pakistan again. The production team of Dirilis: Ertugrul was invited to visit the Omair-Sana Foundation and Children Hospital Karachi by the its founders Dr Kashif Ansari, a US-based oncologist, and Dr Saqib Ansari, an eminent pediatric hematologist who are striving to eliminate thalassemia and other blood disorders from Pakistan. Emir Jamat-e-Islami Karachi Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman and dozens of fans of Ertugrul’s cast and actors were also present on the occasion. Sidhu arrive in pakistan for Imran Khan oath swearing ceremony

Islamabad, August 17, 2018: Former Indian cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu arrived in Pakistan on Friday to attend the oath-taking ceremony of Prime Minister-in-waiting Imran Khan. Sidhu reached Lahore via Wagah border and will arrive here for the oath-taking ceremony scheduled for Saturday. Speaking to reporters in Lahore, Sidhu said: "I have come to Pakistan on my friend's (Imran) invitation. These are very special moments." "Athletes and artists erase distances (between countries)... I have come here bearing the message of love, and prayers for Pakistanis," he added. "Hindustan jeevey, Pakistan jeevey!" Sidhu chanted as he welcomed the "change" in the country brought about by the advent of the Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government. Khan is expected be sworn in as Prime Minister on August 18 after his party swept the July 25 general elections. Earlier this week, former Indian captain Kapil Dev said he will not be attending the oath-taking ceremony, citing "personal reasons". Dev was one of the three cricketers from India invited to attend Khan's swearing-in ceremony, along with Sidhu and Sunil Gavaskar.
