How would Mileena and Kitana treat their younger sister? Like, Sindel she didn't die shut up had another child with Jerrod (somehow) when he came back as Ermac.

I would like to see how they would adjust to having a new addition to the family and what their dynamics would be like, from childhood to adulthood :)

* Mileena has the hardest time adjusting to the sudden change

* She wasn’t necessarily rude or mean to you but she was pretty distant

* It didn’t help that when she was afflicted with tarkat she held it a secret from you

* After the events of mk1 Mileena decided to come clean to you about everything and vowed her best to mend both of your relationship

* Mileena helps you pick out outfits when you don’t know what to wear for fancy evenings

* Most of the time you spend with Mileena is compromised of walking around the royal gardens, deep talks, girly activities like dress up and makeup

* You were actually the first person she told about her relationship with Tanya

* At least every 2 weeks Mileena will make you and Kitana match with her picked out outfit

* You dont get to spend a lot of time with Mileena due to her royal duties as an empress but from time to time you’ll visit her to help or she’ll invite you to take part in a royal ball taking place in another city

* Most of the time you end up being a third wheel when Raiden comes by to visit Kitana or even a fifth wheel if Mileena and Tanya decide go on a double date with the other mentioned pair

you chuckle nervously as Ermac approaches you with a dark look, hands glowing green as his magic pins you in place, ghostly hands trailing over your body and keeping you from squirming

they had kept you as their companion as they learned to harness their powers and control the millions of souls that harbored inside the body

since the battle of the realms, Ermac had taken their leave from Sun Do when they had lost control of the souls and had nearly rampaged through the palace

you had stayed, dedicated to him as his guard and as a previous guard for Jerrod and Sindel, one of Li Mei’s best

but perhaps, you had underestimated the amount of boredom you would have when watching Ermac trying to control their powers through meditation

the hours dragged on as you kept on watching the same perimeter for weeks on end, walking back and forth and checking and checking and at some point you just sat next to Ermac and picked at the grass, uncaring of your surroundings because there was no one in this forsaken forest

you were bored out of your goddamn mind, point blank, and that had led you to pestering Ermac with questions and dropping your professionalism

which led you to this point in time, where Ermac watches with a frown and furrowed brows, and you give a nervous laugh and apologize for bothering them

they grunt and in their voice, filled with and cracked and flooded with the thousands of voice overlapping with each other, say that they will give you something to do to help with harnessing their powers

their hands flick and suddenly your torso is hoisted forward, arms restrained behind your back, only held up by the green magic and stuck in the awkward position of your torso bent forward while on your knees

another flick of Ermac’s hands, and two ghosts appear before you, unfamiliar faces, and they step up to you

one of them steps behind you and its hands trail over the back of your uniform, sending chills down your spine, and your eyes widen when you hear the clinking of your belt and the cloth fall from your backside

your eyes flick to Ermac, but your view of them is quickly blocked by the other spirit standing in front of you

it shoves two fingers between your lips and into your mouth, and you let out a surprised muffled sound at the feeling

Ermac’s low voice echoes for you to suck, and slowly you begin to do so, running your tongue on the strangely smooth texture of the spirit’s fingers

it’s odd, it tastes like nothing really, and it’s somehow still firm in its grasp while the wisps of its spirit ebb off of the physical form like a mist blowing with the morning breeze

but you can’t say you hate it, not when Ermac gives you an approving nod, as if they could feel your tongue moving against the fingers

the other spirit at your backend pulls down your pants, exposing your skin to the warm air, and you let out a whimper when its fingers dip in between your legs and spreads your folds

Mini aus that I haven't expounded on

Geras and Liu Kang dad bonding -Liu Kang teaches Geras how to embrace the life he was given -a wholesome au where they travel together, takes him to hotpot nights, help him train in the fire temple, and read him literary works that he would find amusing. -Geras would keep a pet rabbit they found in the wild, naming it "Pompom" due to its fluffy fur. -Here we see Liu Kang as a tired but a loving father.

Kronika accepting her mistakes -she apologizes to her children (Cetrion and Shinnok) as both try to help their mother from becoming crazed of the effects of the hourglass (as to how it showed how she wanted to perfect it). -Instead of a cruel and overruling twat, she's a loving mother to the two and keeps one timeline instead of an infinite amount to her desire. Where she would be a titan who knows herself better than being selfish to abuse one's power. -Kronika would seem rather creative in this au to craft different paths of the timeline she holds, rather than sticking to the same thing til the end of the world. -Cetrion and Shinnok have a better sibling relationship, free of their own will to the desired destiny of the mortals in their mother's creation.

Tarkat but with buffs -more likely a zombie apocalypse event instead of treating something similar to corona virus, victims are more likely to be seen (in the first scene where we saw Li Mei in MK1) to have cloths tied around their mouths and chained to prevent them from biting other people. -With the same hunt for bloodlust, there's an insatiable hunger that causes them to grow more rabid. Making them into disgusting creatures that cease to harm people of Outworld. -Shang Tsung screen time? Yes, with a few of the combatants trying to survive and prevent the virus spreading to Earthrealm next.

Jerrod's Secret -This is an idea I had in my head for quite a time, I needed some time to think of it before posting. This occurs to the last lived moments seen with Jerrod, getting to know him being Sindel's man and the dad of both Kitana and Mileena. -Instead of dying mysteriously without NRS giving us proper reasons to how he died, what if he was caught up with Tarkat? He and Li Mei had to keep it a secret and make a cover up story instead of Sindel learning its dark truth. -The moment he fully transformed to an infected Tarkatan, he promised to Li Mei that when all goes wrong from Shang Tsung's medicine that he promised to the king himself, she would kill him. -Yes she did get a backlash from not "saving" Jerrod, scolded by Sindel as she was still mourning with her daughters, she allowed herself to be demoted down to first constable from her Umgadi place.

Titan Ombra

Note: This is so close to “Rise of the Villains: Darker than Black” ending but it’s not the same. So yeah, minor spoilers ahead! Also, this is not proofread.

Title: Ombra the Ironhead, Goddess of knowledge and revenge

Motto: “I infect their minds like a deadly desease.”

Powers:

Ferrokinesis - Ombra has full control over iron, but she can also manipulate other kinds of metals without being able to create them out of thin air.

Gift of Knowledge - Ombra is able to manipulate the minds of those she has chosen to make them “aware”, or in other words, grant them the awakening. Once the awakening has happened, that person unearths the arcane knowledge of the universe whether in just a second (by Ombra) or a lifetime.

Call of rebellion - Ombra gathered an army of angry people all around the tealms to rebel against the cult. She can do that now with less effort.

Realm they favor: Not a realm, but Quan Chi’s timeline. Also, she tends to spend more time in Metalrealm since she used to live there most of her life.

Places of Worship: There are temples all over the realms in which people can go to and pray. At the beginning of her timeline, Ombra was unsure about whether make herself known to her creatures, or keep her identity classified. But then she realized that it’s for the best to do what the Elder Gods did in the previous timeline. So Ombra created her own cult and religion in order to control the creatures. That was exactly what she fought against in the previous timeline, but she came to realize that she was stuck in a loop. There was no escaping this eroded system. Gradually, she watched herself turn into something she used to hate with every bits of her being.

Consort: Titan!Quan Chi is now her unofficial official husband. They found each other again after eons of loneliness and anticipation. However, Ombra made sure that the Quan Chi in her timeline has the good life he deserves.

Physical Appearance: Ombra now has short hair - it’s pretty short on the left side close to her forehead, and it gradually grows longer as it circles around her head to her right side -. Her left eye is golden, and the skin around it is gray with golden edges and veins as though it was exploded. The scars on her cheeks which grow from her iron jaw are golden as well.

Armor/Style of clothing: Ombra remains loyal to the style she used to have in the previous timeline. She’s almost always is seen to be wearing a black overcoat which makes her look a bit huge. Underneath that she wears customized vest with gothic elements, a shirt or a turtleneck. As for shoes, Ombra wears knee-high punk/gothic boots.

Weapons: Ombra doesn’t really need any weapons as she is able to create a lot of them with her powers. However, when it comes to her weapon of choice, Ombra prefers a gunblade. She can manipulate the blade while also shooting those who have dared to wrong her.

How does Geras help them/regard them: They have a love-hate kind of relationship. Geras a admires her calculated and intelligent character, but he also knows what she did in the previous timeline - causing an apocalypse -. At first he tried his best to stop her from executing her new plan: killing the remaining cultists and aiding the deadly alliance. But now he feels like his mindset is gradually becoming like Ombra’s. She’s the one in control after all.

Any characters or events that have drastically changed that you would like to mention?:

1. Quan Chi is the protector of the Netherrealm because he deserves the best.

2. Her parents are alive and have a good life without her. She just watches them from afar.

3. Shao Kahn is the protector of Outworld.

4. Jerrod and Sindel rule Edenia, and Kitana is their only daughter. Then Kitana falls in love with Jade, her bodyguard.

5. Hotaru is the protector of Orderrealm.

6. Havik is the protector of Chaosrealm.

7. Shirai Ryu doesn’t exist.

8. Raiden and Fujin are Ombra’s butlers.

9. Tarkatans are a race of people who live somewhere far from the cities of Outworld. Mileena is their princess.

Backstory/Notes/Tidbits:

The whole world was pouring down my fingers, splitting in between them. The Elder Gods were clawing at the last rope of chance to save their throne, never accepting that it was already too late. Cetrion had sheltered behind her mother, begging her to end me. Little did she know that I would never be dead really. Thousands of me was born all across their realms with sharpened teeth, ready to follow my footsteps. However, I was left with no choice but to fight Kronika in combat.

After the keeper of time turned into solid stone before my eyes, and was shattered to dust, I kneeled down. The blood staining my overcoat was almost invisible. It was only Kronika’s dust which shone like stars over this black sky.

Now I was the keeper of time. This uninvited responsibility of restarting the whole timeline and creating the new one fell heavy on my already exhausted shoulders. It was true what they said about people like me. We fought with monsters only to turn into one. Now I was one of them, exactly. It was all a cycle perhaps.

But I was granted with the greatest power. The reality would bend to my will. I would keep chasing any remaining cultists, and remind them who was their worst nightmare. And I would only hope that one day, I’d shroud myself in Quan Chi’s arms with a peaceful mind.

While Jerrod is also able to do that, there had been time where he got confused, but Sindel had never been wrong about knowing who is who.

Title: Goddess of War

Motto: “He who sweats more in training bleeds less in war.”

Powers: 

Life-Force Absorption - Aella’s power has strengthened with her ascension, she can now drain multiple beings at a time and rarely sees her victims' memories or has any pain. However, she finds herself using this ability less often as it makes her overly aggressive afterward. 

Conjured Weapons - Aella can summon many weapons — axes, spears, swords, staffs, and shields to name a few. This gives her and those she fights alongside dozens of combinations that she can also enchant with her magic. It also grants them the element of surprise, as her opponents will never know what to expect. 

Delirium - She can manipulate her opponents' minds amid battle, making them view their allies as enemies and vice versa. This power can only be used on 10-15 people at a time, but it can easily turn the tide in her favor if she's outnumbered. 

Realm they favor: Aella favors Outworld. She still lives there, alone in the hillsides with her small farm. Outworld is her home, the place that molded her into the warrior she is today, and she will never abandon it. But if conflict occurs in other realms, she will oversee and offer aid. 

Places of worship: She has a temple in the lush hillsides of Outworld. A circular array of pillars with a statue of her holding her sword high in the center. In the spring, the fields of violets surrounding it bloom. After long wars, people make the trek to plunge the weapons of their fallen loved ones and comrades into the ground as an act of remembrance.

During conflicts, people make smaller shrines for her, placing offerings and praying for strength in the battles to come.

Consort: To the surprise of no one, it’s Reiko. Her love for him has transcended time.

However, Aella only admires him from afar for now. She's still weary since the Reiko she knew abandoned her for other women and to become a 'Blood God' and well... She saw the aftermath of how that turned out.

Physical appearance: Aella’s scars on her body from previous battles remain. Her magic no longer glows red, but the same shade of violet as her eyes. Her black hair is still in its trademark braid, now streaked with silver.

Weapons: As stated, she can conjure her weapons, but she favors swords. She has a few on display in her home that she uses for self-defense or just to train with. 

How does Geras help them/regard them: Geras advises Aella, having lived billions of lifetimes and observing many wars, he has seen and learned a lot about warfare. He will occasionally aid her on the battlefield, using his powers to halt enemies in time, blind them with sand, or teleport himself or Aella around to aid their allies. As much as Aella knows about kombat, she finds herself learning new things and for that, she is forever thankful. She will always treasure his company in and out of battle, and make sure he is well taken care of.

Geras' armor:

Any characters or events that have drastically changed that you would like to mention?:

The tournament was started by Sindel and Aella, all realms can participate if they wish to. Sindel and Jerrod rule Outworld. Mileena and Kitana are twin sisters. Shang Tsung leads a meaningless life, Quan Chi and Shinnok simply do not exist.

Tarkatans are born the way they are and are not cannibals, they are nomads but live comfortably that way. They are also fierce warriors and make up a large portion of Outworld’s army along with the Shokan. Shao is still a bit of a cocky General, but he serves Outworld and the throne faithfully for now. 

Saurians are still apart of Earthrealm. The Osh-Tekk have yet to be discovered, but their realm is still within Outworld. 

The Kytinn are a much larger threat, with millions in their population. They have much stronger defenses and are led by D’Vorah, who plans to invade the entirety of Outworld. 

The Netherrealm is more akin to Hades, being made up of three distinct regions. The deepest region is where all who are evil in life go to be tortured eternally, the region above it is where the majority of the dead dwell, and the highest is a haven for all those who died honorably or were virtuous in life. Ashrah and her sisters Sareena, Kia, and Jataaka guard these realms and usher the dead to their final resting place.

Aella’s family has no reason to disappear, they instead help run the College of Mages and teach restorative magic. 

The Umgadi exists, with rules less strict — no longer do all first-born daughters have to be Umgadi, they can enlist on their own like in the army. They now consist of more female Shokan. Still, they guard the throne with their lives.

Backstory/Notes/Tidbits:

I find myself falling for him once more. Even now, as I stand in front of the hourglass, my thoughts wander to him.

The Reiko I knew had eyes for many, but his lust for blood and battle was insatiable... until Havik's deception allowed it to devour him. But as I peer into the glass, observing the ghostly replay of this current Reiko's heroic acts, I feel my heart swell with the same love I held for him eons ago.

We have only met briefly, as I helped defend his encampment from Kytinn invaders, but we never shared any words other than ''Thanks for the assist.'' Seeing him in the flesh helped me to understand that he isn't the Reiko I knew, and I pray he never makes the same mistakes, but my heart aches all the same.

Geras advised that I should stay out of his life, and let him carve his own path... but I can't turn off my selfish heart. I can't forget everything that happened. But I will take things slow, and take my time in getting to know this Reiko, and maybe one day we will share the hourglass' power together.

A Distant Memory

While his life is getting better with his new friends and new lover Johnny MacTavish, Simon is reminded of a friend he once had as he had found an old tape recorder from his teen years when he used to run away from the house when he was a teen before enlisting. Looking through the tapes, he is struck with a heavy sense of nostalgia and sits inside all day rewatching the funny things they used to do as friends. Her name was Penny Brown, she was eccentric both in fashion and in her personal beliefs, but she was always there for Simon when he was at his lowest even when he was facing with his own homosexuality. At one moment, he pauses and stares at her.

He wonders if she ever made it out of that small town, it was way too small for someone with a mind like hers... Let's find out. + + + [Chapter: A Walk Down Memory Lane] 'Cheer up will ya? As long as I'm here, you'll never be truly alone.' He can remember the day she said that, it was the day they had met each other in middle school. She was much younger then from the Penny seen in the tapes, but she still kept her incredible smile as they grew. Originally she had honey-golden eyes with blonde hair however as she grew, Penny started dying her hair and putting red eye contacts in more often. The first day she started doing that, it was the first day of the new high school year in their junior year. Everyone was shocked but Penny wore her new appearance with pride. But as pretty and confident as she was, she was the weird kid for a reason. A multitude of reasons. (Fuck you I'm feeling silly) While Simon sits in his living room, looking through the tapes, he's reminded of the time they both were working on a school project for presentation day in social studies... Penny had the bright idea of making the slides herself and there were too many innuendos in there. She chose violence that day especially because their social studies teacher was a sweaty nerd in all the wrong ways, and it led to his arrest when the rumors were confirmed about his perversion. Everyone took note that day not to mess with Penny Brown. She also made a point very clear that she is a force to be reckoned with, and that she's a believer in equal rights because her hands were rated E for everyone. Mortal Kombat Oc Headcanons lets go (why am I calling this headcanons, I control their canon)

-Seraphina and Tomas are the two most stealthiest of the Lin Kuei/Shirai Ryu and definitely used it to play pranks when they were younger

-absolute hide and seek champions

-Yumi was a surprise baby, as Sindel and Jerrod decided they were done after Kitana and Mileena were born

-she was also a very sickly child, making her much shorter and weaker than her sisters as children, so she hit her growth spurt much later than they did

-Claudia secretly kept a Photo Booth picture of she and Johnny as kids when they were still estranged, she still has it

-Long Fei and Ai Xue (parents to the Lin Kuei bros+sis) were an arranged marriage

-Long Fei’s side of the family has a long history of elemental magic, mainly fire and earth, he was arranged to married Ai Xue due to her family history of ice magic

-Min Le first showed signs of earth magic when she was only six and threw a tantrum, where her stomping started a small earthquake and dislodged the ground around her

-Seraphina does not like Nitara (for obvious reasons) like many others but has explicit beef with her solely based on the fact that Nitara thought her blood magic superior to water magic and Seraphina just went “bet” and is currently trying to learn how to bend blood

-out of all of my girls, Seraphina is the most hot headed. You get this woman mad, all hell breaks loose. She also can be hella petty too

-on the opposite end of the spectrum, it takes a lot to get Min Le truly angry, mostly because she takes a lot of unjust shit thrown at her but the one thing she will not take is someone underestimating her skills in combat

-when Yumi was born, Kitana and Mileena were NOT happy that they had another sibling, they were very mean towards her for awhile

Meet Marta Chiwaco (art from picrew)

She is a woman of Nigerian origin, born from a time different from ours and theirs, and raised in a Yoruba tribe.

Her grandmother was skilled at healing and magic and taught it to Marta. She learned about Mortal Kombat and the Realms by chance through her grandmother's stories.

Her grandmother was one of the Earthrealm champions decades ago by Liu Kang. At that time, Marta wanted to know more, so she asked her grandmother to tell her the story in all the details.

She ended up being interested in everything she heard and tried to open a portal herself. The first response failed as expected, but she finally managed to do it after many attempts.

But as soon as she tried to set foot in a door, Geras came out of it. Saying that what she was doing might lead to consequences and harm, they ended up having a long discussion about the matter.

Marta's grandmother took action in this matter and calmed down her granddaughter and introduced her to Geras.

The three of them entered the gate, straight to the Fire Temple where Liu Kang was waiting for them. Grandma introduced Marta to Liu Kang as well and told her who they were.

Overnight, Marta found herself a student at Wu Shi Academy, learning combat and magic. And of course she did. Marta became one of the best magic and healing users, and close to Liu Kang and Geras.

With her personality being a mixture of calm, fun, caring and motherly, there are times when she is like a mother to the rest of Earthrealm's protectors and defenders.

Marta stopped aging in her thirties.

Idris is Marta's favorite intelligent student, and frankly her only one... He is a young man with a lively and quiet personality.

He is of African-European descent, born and raised in a foreign country, and was subjected to forced abandonment by his parents due to circumstances that he did not know about until this moment. He grew up in foster homes and the streets.

He met Marta by pure coincidence while he was quarreling with some older boys, and she helped him in secret with a little magic. Of course, Idris was not an idiot. He became suspicious of her and followed her and began talking over her head, insisting that he find out what she had done.

Idris, a young abandoned boy, soon became Marta's student and later her adopted son.

He is a skilled fighter. He can fight using magic, but he prefers using his hands and daggers more.

He has a calm, sarcastic and uninterested personality at times. He can be painfully honest and rude, but he does not mean bad.
