I mostly spent it with my husband. We went to the Hall of Infinite Reflection on Planet Sparkles, something we haven't done since our honeymoon. Thankfully, it was far more relaxing than the last time we went. He insisted on wearing noise canceling headphones and when the staff asked him to take them off, he screamed

"Ya ain't gonna brainwash me!"

When we got back, Her Highness insisted on throwing an elaborate party. It was quite the surprise.

One scene I’m considering putting in the second book of BBW is a scene where the Seagang brings a home video of the performance to Botania. When they meet the Unigang, they let Richard borrow it. That night in their hotel room, Puppycorn swipes the DVD and watches it.

Creative Squad Blurbs

Until I can get actual bios out for them. I'll start updating my MC:SM OCs pretty soon.

Ramona is a sweet and optimistic girl who loves to dream big, come up with plans, and make wishes on the stars at night. She always looks on the bright side of things. Despite having trouble with socializing from time to time, she’s patient, polite, and kind to everybody. She’s also the most creative out of the six, always brainstorming new ideas. Ramona has trouble remembering things, but she’s still brainy, kind, and willing to stand up for herself and her pals. She also allows herself to cry when she needs to. At home, she has a pet rabbit named Paisley. She is a second-year at Beacontown’s recently built local school, the Honeycomb School, which is a place where people can come learn how to live safely and securely in this big Minecraft world. She is autistic. Since she’s such a ray of sunshine, she’s the Unikitty of the group.

Jezabat is a curious person who likes learning about the world. Being knowledgeable about different things is very important to her. She’d like to go out exploring someday, but she’d rather just take it easy for now. She also wants to be prepared for anything. She enjoys brewing potions, as well as acting and dancing. Sometimes, she doesn’t think things through all the way. She tends to take things rather seriously, and she doesn’t have much of a sense of humor. She’s also quite bossy and prefers to do things her own way. Nonetheless, she’s loyal to her friends. Jez knows that she's still got a lot to learn and a lot to unlearn. She has about sixteen pet bats at home, and every day, a few of them follow her wherever she goes; her most recurring bat pal is named Gideon. She is also a second-year at the school, and she is also autistic. Since she’s level-headed and dry-humored, but she wouldn’t let her friends down, she could be the Richard of the group. 

Lena is an inventive and collected friend of Jez's who is in the theater club with her. Her friends find her fun to converse with because she's a fantastic listener and is fun to talk to as well. She’s very smart, and she also likes to come up with plans. She takes a more logical look into situations, analyzing everything before she dives into something. She’s a smart and studious person who is open to pursuing knowledge. She also likes making music, learning about piglins and the Nether, acting, and reading. She's an avid superfan of the Twilight Forest book series (which references the mod). She has trouble watching her tone, but she makes an effort to make up for it. Lena is severely allergic to cats, pollen, some flowers and certain fabrics, so she often carries around elixirs to help manage them. She has a pet axolotl named Cedric. She is a third-year. Because of her inventiveness and smarts, she’s the Dr. Fox of the group.

Tanoshii, or Tano, is closed off most of the time, but their goofy, fun, and outgoing side is shown when they're with the gang. They don’t like to be disturbed. They don't sleep very often, so most of the time, they're half-awake, worn-out and running on any sustenance they can find (mostly carrots). They have strong abilities in music and illustration, and they're in the same music class as Lena. They're also good at crafting, combat and demolitions. They're quite anti-social and brash, and they’re very, very rough. Their hands are often pretty beat up. They still love to talk, and they have a great sense of humor. They struggle with depression. They have a pet parrot at home named Fuki, and they don’t attend the school. They are autistic like Ramona and Jezabat. They’re the Hawkodile of the gang; like him, they’re adventurous, daring, and athletic as well. 

Tristan is a pretty shy kid. While he does have basic redstone knowledge, he's having an identity problem at the moment. He's been around for a while, but he still doesn't know what his calling is. He's a pretty big fan of the New Order, and he’s often seen hanging out with the Creative Squad. He's interested in going out and having an adventure because he hopes it will help him find himself. His crisis affects his ability to make decisions, but he is supportive, helpful, playful and plucky. He's also thoughtful, too, since he cares for his friends and his pet frog, Bart. Tristan’s crisis has affected his self-esteem quite negatively, since he sometimes thinks that his life probably has no purpose. He also can’t eat certain things like porkchops or fish because they give him very bad stomach aches and make him swell up. He's a first-year. He’s a well-intentioned follower who’s still finding his place in the world, so he’s the gang’s Puppycorn.

Deepa is a charming and peppy girl who's pretty well-known by her schoolmates. She almost always says whatever comes to her mind, and she speaks out if something unfair is going on. She’s adventurous, merciful and calm, but she gets overwhelmed if there are too many things happening at once. She’s also very clumsy when it comes to combat; the best she can do is fire arrows. Deepa is very interested in the arts. She’s a fan of reading and writing, and she also has an eye for style. Even though she's not 100% coordinated, she's encouraging to her friends and herself. At home, she has two pet dogs named Tara and Mira. She is a fourth-year, meaning it's her last year at Honeycomb before she’s done. She is the Swanna of the group because she’s adventurous, fashionable, and doesn’t officially join the gang until later in the story. She used to be a Unikitty OC before she became an MC:SM OC.

Alright, fine. I’ll talk about Wish.

Here are some ideas I had for how I’d redo it. It might be bad, but I’ll give it a shot. Here goes nothing…

- I would've changed the title to something like The Wishing Star, or The Kingdom of Wishes, or Asha and the Wishing Star. 

- I'd keep the 2D-3D animation blend. I can see why they'd want to go with that. It's like, a nod to all eras of the Disney studio's animation. But, it would look better however possible. 

- I think we should redo the entire soundtrack to make it way less pop. The best movies from the studio have Broadway-ish soundtracks. I've read on YouTube comments and such that it's better for musicals to focus on the story and themes and not pop replay-ability. Not every song needs to peak on the charts like We Don't Talk About Bruno did. (We can probably keep At All Costs, though.) 

- For the soundtrack, I would have taken a similar approach to the SpongeBob Musical, where each of the songs are from different songwriters they’ve worked with. Like, one song from Lin-Manuel, one from the Lopezes, one from Alan Menken, etc. As I saw in one comment, they could even bring in Elton John and Phil Collins. Another way I would’ve done it is have all of them collaborate on the soundtrack together. That would have been impactful. 

- Probably change the designs of the characters, the architecture and backgrounds of Rosas, and the music so that they better represent the Iberian peninsula/Andalusia. There's so much to work with from that area. Some of the characters' names can be changed to better fit the area, too. But I'm not from that area, nor am I of that heritage, so I'm not sure how that would be done. 

- The name of Rosas can also be changed so that it fits in with the theme of stars and wishes. I was thinking something along the lines of Estrellas. 

- What kind of a name is Magnificent? I thought of changing King Magnifico's name to something like King Maximilio. He can be called Maximilio the Magnificent (Maximilio el Magnifico). 

- I was thinking that Asha is his and Amaya's adoptive daughter. 

- The major supporting characters would be Star (as that shapeshifting humanoid being), Dahlia, and Sakina, who can be Asha's (biological) aunt.

- I'm not sure if Valentino would be there as well, honestly. 

- @annymation’s rewrite had the king and queen have a pet bobcat, and I think that's cool! I think they could have an Iberian lynx or something!

- I like the idea of Asha having a human friend group, and I understand basing them off of the 7 dwarves. While I've heard people say that there doesn't need to be so many of them, we could possibly make them all work. We've just gotta give them more recognizable character traits and more to do in the story. (Off-topic, but Bazeema looks like an OC I would make.) 

- I'd also keep the beginning of the movie having a storybook being opened and read from. But, what I think I'd want is for there to be some opening credits with a song, like in Cinderella and Alice in Wonderland. The prologue song can be about, well, starlight and wishing or whatever. 

- For the actual plot of the movie, and for Asha and Star's dynamic, I'd have it be pretty similar to these ideas because I have none of my own:

- My ideas aren't exactly like these, of course. They're, like, adjacent to these. Do you understand what I mean? 

- Anyways, Rosas (or whatever it's called) wasn't founded by Maximilio and Amaya. It's been there. They're just the current rulers of the place. It's painted as this happy, colorful place where all of your wishes can come true just like that. You can do anything or be anything you want to be. 

- I wouldn't make Asha pessimistic. I'd make it so that she's living idyllically in her kingdom, which, like I said, is marketed as the world's greatest kingdom or something. But then, she learns the hard truth about the way it's run when she hears of the people's untold suffering. 

- Sabino can be a poor old man that Asha meets, and he can be her very first encounter with someone who knows the truth about what's going on. 

- Basically, there's a false sense of equality and equal opportunity at play in this kingdom, and the rulers don't care about what the people want and won't do crap about the kingdom's issues. It's basically this, except it’s actually happening.

- So, when Star is summoned down, Asha hopes he'll be able to fix everything in a snap because her parents told her the stars were capable of anything. But, he can't do that. He, of course, helps her on her journey, and she challenges her parents, who aren't who they claim to be and all that. 

- A scene where Asha's friends and Sakina explain their wishes would probably be good.

- Maybe the rulers colonized the stars. Like, they exploited them and their power to only benefit themselves, and that has a really negative effect on them. So then maybe, when Asha wished on the stars, they saw it as a chance to save them, and so they sent down Star. 

- So Asha feels like her happiness is tainted because of what she knows now, but she keeps her mind open and tries to fight for a better future where all the people's wishes can come true.

- When the rulers are defeated and the stars are free, Star wants to stay with Asha because they've caught the feels for each other. It's kind of a Ponyo-like ending because Star has to give up his magic in order to do that. Maybe he could change his name to something like Aster or Esteban. 

- When he becomes human, he sends his magic up into the sky, and it takes the form of the wishing star. It's there to remind people that the stars will be there to guide you, and they'll help anyone in need.

- The theme I had in mind for this is like, No one’s wishes can really come true unless we’re all truly free to make them. In other words, don’t be greedy or ignorant and actually care about people.

Citizens of Marevi, Part 1

Way to go, Jezabat. Because of your affinity for drawing Lego sea animals, and because you have too many ideas for the Marevi quintet, you had to expand this land's citizens into multiple pages!

Eh, whatever. Let's dive in!

Waterlily's family is formally known as the Medusozoa royal family. Multiple species have ruled over Marevi over the years. King Nettle Coelenta is a sea nettle. He is kind and respectful to everyone, but he's not very good at noticing lies or tricks. Still, he's willing to do whatever it takes to help someone. He never wants to hurt another person's feelings. Queen Moonlily is a moon jellyfish. She aims to make sure that people, especially Waterlily, are healthy and safe. She always tells Waterlily to remember to smile, and she adores her creativity. She keeps a calm heart and hardly ever gets mad. I imagine King Nettle sounding like Wade from Elemental for some reason.

Shelltop's parents are good friends with Waterlily's and have been working with them for a very long time. Snailtop Molluskas is a fun-loving man who will try to make something fun if it isn't. He's rather comical; he's been joking about Shelltop's likeness in appearance to him since Shelltop first hatched out of his egg. Clamilla Bivalva is considered to be where Shelltop gets his boldness from, since she's a decisive and confident woman. She tries to help Shelltop keep his room and belongings orderly. Snailtop and Clamilla love to play sports just like Shelltop does. Clamilla is great at badminton, and Snailtop is skilled at cricket.

Celina Cecae is Spike's mother. She is an affectionate and loving woman with a cool, relaxed mood. As kind as she is, she tries not to let anyone use her kindness to their advantage. Often times, she breaks down and cries. She was once the resident royal swordswoman of Marevi. She was known for her stealth, swift movements, ability to blend in with her surroundings, and illusory combat techniques. In those days, she called herself Nightrain. However, because of Needle's horrible treatment of her and her loved ones, Celina stopped swordfighting. She’s since taken her work to the strategists’ table, spreading peace, friendship and positivity to everyone. She calls Spike her little shining sun and admires his vocal talents. People casually call her Nightrain nowadays.

Pierre Gilden, Marcella's dad, is a courageous and insightful explorer. He's been on land numerous times throughout his life, and he usually carries his satchel around with him. To him, you never know when you'll see something interesting. He also really likes to cook for the family, which Marcie thinks influenced her "Butterpearl" nickname. Elena, her mom, is a jeweler who's made jewelry for the royal family and for her children. She even wears her creations. She's enthusiastic and buoyant, though sometimes critical. Elena and Pierre have always told Marcella to never stop being adventurous, curious or creative. They've also helped her learn to know when she might be in danger, or when she might have gone too far.

Dominic Gilden, who's often nicknamed Dom, is smart and not as reckless as his siblings tend to be. He's known by his family for being knowledgeable with furniture, so they'll come to him if there's something they need to fix or set up. He hopes to join Marcella and Cream on one of their adventures sometime. When he's bored, he likes to make tiny submarine sculptures with rocks. He looks after Felicia and Julien.

Felicia is Marcie's little sister. She loves giving people hugs, and she'll usually greet people with a hug. She always talks like she has something important to say. She often mentions wanting to live in the castle like her big sister does. Felicia also likes to blow into things, like coral tubes and horns.

Julien Gilden is the youngest of these siblings. They love to hear about what Marcella is up to, especially him. He asks lots and lots of questions, regardless of how relevant to the plot of this AU they are. If the others don't finish a meal, he'll do it.

Yogurt Pygmae and Meringue Hippokamp are Cream's fathers, and they run a confectionery. They often send Cream and his friends some seaweed buns, sponge cakes or candies. They comfort their sons whenever they’re not feeling good, and Cream goes to stay with them if he’s sick, injured, or otherwise unwell. Yogurt is a smiley, sugary, and very encouraging man who’s always rooting for his kids. Cream was pretty shy as a kid, so Yogurt helped him socialize. Meringue has a warm, tender heart and is just about the sweetest seahorse man you’ll ever meet. He pours his sweetness and care into everything he does.

Whip Hippokamp is Cream’s older brother. He’s a very trustworthy guy, and Cream loves him with all of his heart. He knows that he can call on Whip if he’s in a nervous or tight situation. Whip also stands by Cream’s side when he’s not okay. If he’s asked to do something or wants to do something, he’ll do it, regardless of how long it takes him. He likes to bake donuts, or as Marevians call them, sand rings. He taught Cream to bake them, and he even wears clothes with sand rings on them.

Emilio Cecae is Spike’s breezy grandfather. He’s in his late 70s-early 80s, but he’s had gray hair for his entire life. He’s carefree, brisk, and doesn’t let little things bother him. He works as a meteorologist, and that’s because of his fascination with weather, on the surface or in the sea. He also plays the flute and has taught Spike to play it. Xenia, his grandmother, is a technology expert who’s living her best life. Though she’s a little stormy sometimes, she’s an incredibly hospitable woman with a very open mind. She keeps appliances running in earth-friendly ways.

Gabbro is a hybrid of a pufferfish and a hermit crab. He’s a member of Shelltop’s volleyball team. He’s the teammate he’s closest to, and the friend that he’s closest to outside of his main friend group. He’s adaptable, dependable, and as tough as a rock when on the court. When faced with difficulties, he doesn’t really know what to say or do, but he’s trying his best. His name comes from a type of igneous rock.

Carla is a cardinal fish and another member of Shelltop’s team. She’s spirited and a fun person to have around. She knows just what to say for any situation. She can usually be seen wearing the team’s uniform, even when she isn’t playing with them.

Ursula is an oarfish and one of many Marevian citizens who isn’t a merperson. In contrast to the regular sea animals, the merpeople look more like Lego humanoids. She’s the head coach of Shelltop’s team, and she’s a lot bigger than she appears here. She’s great at managing her team, though she does it in the calm, lenient way of coaching that’s done in Marevi. Like, she does blow a whistle every so often, but she doesn’t shout that much. She’s also incredibly supportive.

Aura is an oyster and a friend of Waterlily’s. They’re usually taking rides on their train of thought, think-think-thinking up new ideas. They’re also an honest person. They meet up with her in the castle gardens or in another calming place to paint with her. They don’t know how to make pottery, but Waterlily’s been showing them. Their color scheme and appearance are influenced by the curious oysters from Alice in Wonderland.

Natalie Nautilusia is a cheeky nautilus and a close friend of Spike and Waterlily. She does things her own way and doesn’t care what anyone says or thinks about her. She’s also brash and frivolous. She likes to act, sing, and perform comedy routines. She performed with Spike in Quoth the Penguin, “Nevermore!”, and she’s been to Waterlily’s intimate get-togethers. In the show, she played the penguin. Her headcanon voice is Andrea Macasaet.

Chrysa is a hybrid of a crinoid, more specifically a feather star, and a sea anemone. She is a good friend of Cream’s and a regular customer of his family’s bakery. She’s friendly and tries to do good for others. She’s currently attending language school, hoping to be an author someday.

Unikitty

- Unikitty: Big Bright World

My biggest and most developed AU project. The fanfiction series set in this alternate universe takes place roughly three years after the show. In this AU, The Birthday to End All Birthdays didn't happen. It’s like, “What if Unikitty was more like Minecraft: Story Mode?”

- Unikitty: Cuckoo Land Pals

This AU is where the My Little Pony: Equestria Girls movies are reenacted with the cast of the show. There is another world where the gang are human Lego figurines, and they attend a school called Cuckoo Land High. Unikitty travels to this world to get back a miniature version of the Smiles Sphere, which will be awarded as a prize at a dance. A teenage human version of her attends another school called Frowntown Prep.

Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart

- The Lunar AU

This is a universe in which there is an area in Pure Heart Valley called Forest County. It is mostly populated by Lunar Sweetypies, which are Sweetypies with crescent moon markings somewhere on their body. They have low energy, droopy eyelids, dark fur/skin colors, very high sensitivity to the sun, and deeper voices than most Sweetypies. Eugene has been friends with a Lunar Sweetypie named Edgar Cresselion, and their daughters, Adorabat and Annette, were friends once. Also, in this AU, Mao Mao's mother has a chronic illness.

- Mao Mao: Dancers of Pure Heart

Each character specializes in a certain type of dance instead of fighting. Each Sweetypie specializes in their own kind of dance, as do the heroes and Sky Pirates. Mao Mao does jazz, Badgerclops does hip-hop and Adorabat does ballet.

Trolls

- Seven Tribes

Everything is the same except there are seven troll tribes instead of six. The seventh tribe is the swing music trolls, and they live on Mt. Big Band. Their homes and their fashion sense are 1930s and 1940s-inspired. There are also musical theater trolls.

The Nightmare Before Christmas

- Monster Children

This AU gives more plot to Halloween Town’s trick-or-treaters. It also adds Birthday Land, New Year City and Earth Day Town to the holiday forest. Plus, there’s Tooth Town, where the Tooth Fairy lives, and Time Land, where Father Time lives.

Minecraft: Story Mode

- Minecraft: Story Mode- The Next Chapters

This is an inverse AU to Unikitty: Big Bright World. It’s like, “What if Minecraft: Story Mode was more like Unikitty?” The fanfiction series set in this alternate universe takes place roughly five or six years after Season 2. New protagonists are introduced in this one.

- Minecraft: Music Mode

Almost everybody specializes in a certain kind of music, and they use musical powers to fight monsters.

Mabel Maples is a character in the Unikitty: Big Bright World series. She is a citizen of the Unikingdom who makes friends with Unikitty. Her voice is similar to Mabel's voice in Minecraft: Story Mode.

Physical Appearance: Mabel is a maple tree being (or a Stumplet, as she calls herself) who is Unikitty's age. Her head appears to be a sideways stump, which her face is carved into. She has light brown eyes with carved "eyelashes" and a small circular nose. She often dabs sparkles onto her face. She has small red maple leaves for hair, and her "space buns" are trimmed to look like larger maple leaves. Her torso resembles a tree trunk with the bark poking out near its bottom. Her arms resemble branches, as they have little maple leaves growing on their sides. Her legs resemble smaller trunks, and her feet resemble roots.

Personality: Mabel is a very open-minded girl. She listens to other people when they need to talk to her. She's good-natured and imaginative, and she always puts her best foot forward. She's quite a hugger as well, and she's known by her friends as giving some firm and strong hugs. Mabel likes to listen to music and learn about it. She plays the clarinet and the piccolo. Mabel‘s super interested in marching bands and what they do, and she is a part of the band at her school. She hopes to become a drum major. 

Mabel is optimistic, walking through life with a smile on her face. She loves to entertain others and find and spread joy. She never shies away from going all out. For this reason, she does whatever she can to make sure people stay entertained, at her band concerts and other occasions. She’s determined to leave a seed of herself in others’ memories, if you know what I mean. Before her life is over, she’ll make her mark on the world, and she swears by it.

Mabel does things with lots of energy, but it’s hard for her to recognize when she’s going too full-throttle. Sometimes, she has to remind herself to slow down.

Trivia

Mabel looks a bit similar to Spinel from Steven Universe and Circus Baby from Five Nights at Freddy's, but this is all coincidental.

Her interests came from Jezabat's idea to create a character who is in band, inspired by her best friend @ra1nb0w-ph0en1x.

One of Mabel's instruments is the piccolo because most professional piccolos are made out of wood.

Her design takes inspiration from the Whittles from Super Mario Galaxy 2 and the Mario Party series.

Mabel is sensitive to heat.

If a bug bites her, she'll begin to feel weak and woozy.

Mabel is a lesbian.

Mabel also appears in Jezabat's Cuckoo Land Pals AU, in which she is an attendee at Camp Action and Artsy Unikitty's love interest.

Jezabat pictures her and Unikitty having a romantic interest in each other in Big Bright World as well.
