Anyway thoughts on the new chp below - spoiler warning obviously!

1) Dinosaurs?!?! Both love and despise it. I adore the new coloured art tho and I wish that was the new volume cover art instead. I want a poster of it and I want to Frame it on my wall. I will absolutely be redrawing this one. Are these positive emotions abt the new art style? Disgusting XD

2) Baby Angel Mikaela looks so cute and squishable, I'm adopting this smol child too, he is mine and I'm going to just eat him up like a marshmallow

3) A theory now that I've read this new chp: what if it's present Mika/Yuu's fault that Angel Mikaela was killed?? Like something happened in the past/their memories or they did smth bad to the city, and they were seen by a higher being than Sika and then Angel Mikaela was killed bc of it (bc oh ur future vers caused us trouble so we'll kill your past vers so you don't cause trouble, but that's the whole reason all of the stuff in OnS happens)

OR

alternatively, Angel Mikaela and/or blob Yuu aren't actually supposed to be outside the city, or blob Yuu isn't supposed to be possesing creatures, leading to a higher being killing Angel Mikaela for not following rules.

4) Yuu most certainly has a lizard brain and I love his lizard form

5) For once Kagami-Sensei has given us plot moving forwards (a little, even tho it's ended on another cliffhanger) and I am Unhinged, screaming crying and throwing up, and I will be Hunting this man down to pay for my therapy bills

"This didn't mean anything." (Guren as he was becoming a demon to Mahiru)

The feeling was horrible. How impersonal it all seemed. How many years had she waited for this only to experience something so incredibly empty? So terribly distant. This wasn't what Mahiru wanted. She wanted his heart, not his body.

She paused before buttoning the last button of her uniform. A subtle, disappointed sigh slipped from her. What good was asking? She wondered. Just how different was he from when they were younger? Eyes shifted from the floor, she looked to Guren who'd been buttoning his own shirt.

“ Ne, Guren. ” Mahiru called, tone distant and nearly indifferent. Truthfully, she didn't think his words could hurt her anymore. There was nothing left to break inside of her.

“ Did you do this to hurt me? ”

Putting on his stark white gloves, they slid over a thin hands as he listened to the other. He frowned, not at them, but his eyes narrowed at a loose thread on one fingertip. He'd have to burn it off later.

Turning his head, his eyes stayed narrowed but his voice was lowered, as if he had heard a silly question. Guren, of course did find such a question from Rise silly, as he had heard it so many times.

"If you think that, you'll be dead before you swing your weapon." He said bluntly as he had to many other cadets under his command and not alike. "You need to take hold of the Demon within your CURSED GEAR, and control it, not let it control you."

Flexing his hands, he palmed the KASHIRA (*butt cap) of his sword. Guren was a bit of a hypocrtite, as he had allowed his CURSED GEAR -- Mahiru Hiragi -- to take his body, surrendering to the only woman he had loved... His frown deepened as his gaze shifted from Rise to his side, the weapon. His hand shifted and grew tight upon the ITO (*handle wrap) surrounding the SAME (*rayskin) handle.

"If you do this, and work as a unit, you won't have to worry about anything." Also said hypocritically as Guren preferred to work alone, even when he was younger, he'd often ditch his friends.

He couldn’t really truly recall what exactly had happened after allowing Yu to escape because his plan ended up in failure, a plan that would allow them to leave this place behind. It was the only thing that he could do for the sake of protecting his remaining family member, he had to make sure that Yu survived. The only parting gift Mika was able to give him since he thought that he wasn’t going to leave this place alive, but luck was on his side years later. He was rescued by the very people who managed to bring Yu to a place where he would be safe, a place where the survivors could be safe. 

Mika had to recover though, he needed to rest so he could regain that missing strength from his time spent with the vampires. It would take him a bit until he could reunite with the one person he wanted to see the most. Not until he was able to stand properly on his own two feet without the help of the hovering staff who was there to help him. He couldn’t help, but be wary around that time besides the familiar face of Guren who came to visit him. The man who found Yuuichirou. 

His strength soon returned before he worked hard to join the fight against the vampires which is where this reunion was going to take place. Mikaela was bracing himself to reunite with Yu while he didn’t want to see him in such a weak state even though he most likely would be upset about not learning the truth sooner. Yu probably would have plenty to say to him once he appeared in front of him, words that he would gladly hear because it was from him. 

His arrival was going to be a surprise despite him asking questions about his friend, Guren told him plenty about how he was doing since he was brought here. He wanted Yu to focus on himself while he recovered despite how much he wanted to see him, there was plenty they needed to recover from. Especially with the loss of their family before that fateful day. 

Today though, they wouldn’t have to be apart any longer while he wore that familiar uniform which showed that he was apart of the army for the sake of fighting against their enemy. One which most likely wasn’t going to disappear anytime soon. The blonde soon appeared in front of him though while he was waiting for a lecture to be thrown his way, Yuuichirou had other ideas from the hug that gripped at his shoulder. 

A light smile moved to grace his lips though “I’ve missed you too, Yu.”

actions speak louder than words

The first time Guren had spoken about family it dug a knife through his heart. Rise, a kid Guren had also took in, also kept repeating the same word over and over and that knife only twisted harder.

He had almost come to hate that word for how much hurt it gave him.

Family did not exist anymore, not in a world like that.

No matter how hard he tried to cling to revenge, how much he tried to cling to his hatred, every single day he kept questioning what was the point to be still there for him. He had died the day his parents had turned against him and he died again that day in Sanguinem when everything he lived for slipped through his fingers once again.

There was a secret spot he had found, a place that the soldiers seemed to not hang out to a lot, when the sorrow was too heavy to even practice the exercises that Guren left for him to do.

Only Rise seemed to have a radar for him and found him every time, like Akane had done for all the years in the underground city. He did not hate the kid, but at the time he was too busy with his own sorrow to notice that she was not too far away to where he was.

That day she found him behind some heavy boxes, his face buried in his knees. Tears were rolling down his red cheeks, his trousers had basically become soaked. He barely heard steps as they approached and quickly he rubbed his face hard with his sleeves, red eyes narrowing at the figure that was now standing by his side.

"I got something in my eyes..." his voice came out lower than he meant and before he could stood up himself, a warm hand was placed on his cheeks. The shock of that simple gesture stopped the child in his tracks, he could feel again the knife pushing forward into his heart.

"Don't touch me." a callous hand moved away hers and Yu made his way back to the training area.

Greece is the Word

A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM Gatehouse Theatre, Stafford, Wednesday 28th June 2023 Greece-on-Sea makes more sense as a setting for Shakespeare’s Dream, than for Mamma Mia, and with the added period touch (it’s the 1930s) the stage is set for an atmospheric, evocative show.  Actor-musicians add to the mood, and there’s a lengthy dumb show sequence, an overture to set the scene and to transport us…

-would probably brush it off like he doesn't care

-like yeah you're all that shy and he knows it too better that the shy ones are tipically touch starved

-he likes it when you beg for his attention,so unless you really want something from him,he isn't going to give in so easily

-would laugh a bit at your condition at being touch starved

-like what do you mean? the most shy person he's ever met is wanting some touching attention?

Kureto Hiiragi

-he is probably the type to make fun of you but deep inside he is kinda touch starved to

-all those meetings,those tasks,heck,all the work that needs to be done at the JIDA is very exhausting for him

-after all,he is the leader of the company so he can't accept failure especially coming from his side

-once he notices that you both are touch starved,he starts to make the first move(which he really does everytime in your relationship)

-he is kinda surprised to see that his sweet shy s/o is as touch starved as he is or even more touch starved

-he puts you in his arms,slowly but surely carressing your every body part

-loves these moments where he can be much more that the Hiiragi head

Crowley Eusford

-enjoys it almost too much

-a teasing guy and I must say VERY teasing

-would touch you in your sensitive parts just to tease you more

-you practically are a mess whenever he touches you

-even if it's just massaging your head or even kissing your sweet hands,he drives you even crazier

-will make you sit on his lap just for him to enjoy your cute all red face

-being all shy and flustered while he is touching you drives him insane too,he just loves for that look on your face and all your facial expressions

-being shy only brings him more enjoyment from what he's doing to you

-though he has his limits,if he sees that you can't take much more teasing then he will stop the teasing and 'get to work'

-you can view that 'get to work' however you want to:)

Shinya Hiiragi

-Shinya is just a sweet person in general,I can't imagine him being waaaay to teasing or anything that would annoy you

-I mean of course he could tease you for being that touch starved,but not in a Crowley way

-so don't panick,he is just very sweet

-is his precious angel carving some attention?

-cuddling time is ready,the bedsheets are all clean for a movie time

-kissing is just the start

-would kiss you all over your body and whenever he kisses a new spot he would go just like "mwah"

-he is so precious please touch him too,he's probably too shy to also say that to you

-He is really the master of affection,he knows so well how to please his darling and how to make them feel their best moments whenever he touches them
