How gas nanobubbles accelerate solid-liquid-gas reactions

Solid-liquid-gas reactions are common in various natural phenomenon and industrial applications, such as hydrogen-oxygen fuel cell reactions, heterogeneous catalysis and metal corrosion in ambient environments. However, the gas transport in liquid and following reactions at the triple-phase interfaces are not well understood.

A joint research team led by Prof. Chen Jige from the Shanghai Advanced Research Institute (SARI) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences reported a real-time observation of the accelerated solid-liquid-gas etching progress of gold nanorods by introducing gas nanobubbles. They found that the underlying microscopic mechanism was dependent on liquid layer thickness.

The results were published in Nature Materials.

Liquid-cell transmission electron microscopy (TEM) enables the real-time observation of the accelerated etching of gold nanorods with oxygen nanobubbles in aqueous hydrobromic acid.

who is your favorite character in Lupin 3 and why exactly. also just curiosity what made you get into this media, something specific caught your attention?

Goemo/n was my fav at first cuz I’m into his whole thing of being specifically into old traditional stuff and refusing to wear or try modern things besides the occasional cellphone or pop music he listens to. I understand him. I don’t like how in modern adaptations they make it seem that he’s out of touch and doesn’t understand modern things to the point the gist of the joke is to embarrass or frustrate him. The Goem/on I know reads history books, had a smartphone with an animated wallpaper, played video games, travels around the world.

Jige/n became my second number 1 cuz there’s a lotta little details about him that are very charming like how he’s introverted, likes cute things and is a fellow city slicker. He gives me, latino vibes, just give a listen to his theme song. There’s a buncha other details I could tell more about his potential mixed blasian swag but I’d have to pull up sources. I think he’s very neato, I love when be does 3 mouth smile, and his anti american comments, what a king.

I’ve watched Part I a long time ago for one day and forgot about it but picked the series back up after how that cg movie came out, and ever since then seen Every Thing now since I have thing where; if I get into a thing I don’t stop at just a few I gotta know absolutely everything. The fact that episodes and movies don’t tie in really does make this series just last forever without getting stale. Though there’s a bit of chronological moments that make sense if going in order that can be observed. I do prefer the kinda thing it has going on where there’s no long arcs (well ahem aside for the post 2012 shows but I’m not talking about those, for now at least).

I think it’s the only real anime experience I ever gotten (that’s not an anime styled game or somethin) so could this be considered my anime phase?
