ok so here are my personal hcs

he’s definitely surprised els in a relationship and even more surprised that its a healthy relationship

at first he wants to keep the two of them away but he realizes how much they mean to each other and comes around

The light at Melvald‘s general store is bright, too bright, stinging. Joyce hasn‘t felt like herself for the past few weeks, the feeling of joy and curiosity, the little secret inside of her - it has all turned into some kind of nervous anxiety about what the future holds. She stands in front of a shelf packed with baby supplies, a million kinds of pacifiers staring at her as her thoughts wander off. Will she be able to do this?

„Come here, babe!“, a voice yells through the store and that’s it - she‘s back to reality, back from her inside to the outside world, a world full of bright neon lights, grocieries and the rough voice of a man.

„What is it?“ she asks as she crosses the aisles to meet the man, dressed in jeans and a black leather jacket, his hair greasy and his shoes dirty.

„Can you carry this?“, he asks as he looks down on her. He‘s not tall for a man, but she‘s small and has not been eating well or been able to keep in any decent food those past four and a half months. In fact, she‘s skinnier than ever - except for her belly that keeps growing, a vicious circle. In the beginning, when it had just been between herself and the little creature inside of her, it had felt powerful, but now she often found herself thinking that it was taking something away from her, energy, sleep, weight, her whole fucking self.

„Uhm, yeah.“, she says and is not even sure if she‘s able to as the man is handing her a sixpack of beer.

„I don‘t think she should, Byers.“, says another, much darker voice from the other end of the aisle. The store is not even empty, there are a few customers walking around and still she immediately sees him, turns her head around before Lonnie Byers can push the sixpack into her arms. He knows.

Well, she thinks, of course he knows. For a second her thoughts trail off to that one moment last month when she bumped into him in front of the store they were just standing in. Joyce feels a strange kind of nausea creeping up on her and she cannot really tell the reason - her sudden disgust for Lonnie Byers, the presence of Jim Hopper or the baby inside of her.

„Don‘t think that‘s any of your business, Hopper.“, Lonnie snaps, his voice low as Jim Hopper walks over to them. Jim is much taller than Lonnie, wearing jeans and a white shirt and Joyce can even see his muscles underneath. Suddenly, she feels safe because she knows that Lonnie‘s aggression is bubbling up but here, in public, in front of Jim Hopper he‘d never dare to fight because he knows all too well that he‘s got no chance, no chance against a man so much taller, a man with true self confidence. Lonnie was a different kind of man, out of control on the inside and put together in public, at least enough to keep some kind of normal appearences.

„Carry it yourself or put it away, Byers.“, Hopper says and he has not yet taken a single look at Joyce. It makes her even more nervous as she starts to feel like a bystander, a bystander in her own life. Joyce can‘t know it‘s not because he does not want to, does not know that he‘d love to look at her in all ways possible, but that he just can‘t because he would not bear to really see her again, so small and beautiful, carrying the traces of another life under her shirt. Summer was slowly beginning and by now, it was too warm for sweaters, pullovers or jackets, so Joyce was wearing a plain blue shirt and damn, she really could not hide it anymore. She could not hide it and he could not stand that.

Moments pass as the three of them just stand there, Jim staring at Lonnie, Lonnie staring at Jim and Joyce staring at the two of them. Then suddenly, Lonnie breaks the silence. „Alright, Sheriff.“, he whispers ironically, a scoff in his voice as he moves and walks past Jim. Joyce still stands there, it takes her a few seconds to react. „Bye, Jim. Gotta go.“, she whispers, raises her head and looks him in the eyes for less than a second.

„See you.“, he answers as she walks down the aisle, steps behind Lonnie. He can‘t stand it.

Finally, either El would remind him or you would angrily say "Happy Anniversary" before closing the bedroom door on him, leaving him to sleep in the living room.

- The anniversary vacation would last only for three days because Jim only has so many vacation days and not wanting to use them all, just in case of an emergency. Even when coming back home, in the mornings he spends them with you, cuddling up or cooking you breakfast before going to work in the afternoon.

Looking out at the still lake, watching as some birds flew through the cool air above it, having only arrived minutes ago at the cabin you both were to stay at for the days after your anniversary.

Interrupting your moment of thought, Jim's arms warp around you with kisses that attack your neck, causing laughs to erupt out of you. After the surprise attack, he rests his chin atop your shoulder, looking out at the lake that would be yours for the next three days.

My Billy Hargrove Art - 2/28/24

Starting off I wanted to just figure how how i would draw Billy. Like with Cal I'm not super use to drawing fanart of live action characters. If you didn't read this Billy post I made I HC Billy nonbinary using He/Him but Fem leaning and uses Female titles with people he trust.

This is canon divergent so Billy survived the mind flyer (and now lives with Joyce) but I since it is post season 3 - he tends to wear alot more clothes now - its rare for most people to see him without his arms, and chest full covered due to the sever scaring he has from his time being possessed.

Billy will wear make-up; it started out before moving in with the Byers to hide bruises. But now he always wears beach colors nail polishes liking the way it looks, but he will wear blush and lip gloss (not lip stick cause he doesn't like the way it feels) in softer colors when he's feeling on the more fancy or mature fem side. His eyeshadow is always in some shade of blue if he puts eyeshadow on.

He’s a premaregressor and a Trauma & Vent Regressor of Baby to 5 year old with most his drops are involuntary. His biggest special interest regressed or not is everything relating to the Ocean or Sea.

As you can see in this picture first Billy doesn't have his dangle earring like he normally does - thats because whenever he drops who ever is around will either switch the dangle earring with the matching non dangle earring, or get someone Billy will trust to switch them. Joyce is really accepting of Billy's age regression but doesn't like the idea of anyone mentally or physically under the age of 10 wearing dangling earrings due to the risk of injury. So its a house rule.

Fun fact most of the stuffed animal Billy have here i own IRL (Or they are my sister's). Since he has a hard time with being gifted things he's slowly collected these since moving in with Joyce from various people.

Ariel, the jellyfish plushy by his hand, was the only one he had before moving in with the Byers from his mother. She is modified to have a rattle box in her body and years ago when she lost an eye Billy stole a stuffed animal eye from a craft store to replace it.

The sea bunny thats on his leg. Joyce gave it to him when he was in the government hospital - The sea bunny's name is Sea-yah.

The sea turtle was also given to him pretty early one by El - her name is Apple. Why? Cause shes green like a apple.

Aegir is a black tip reef shark that Billy got when the whole Byers-Hopper family (including him) went to the aquarium. Jim surprised him with Aegir because he refused to pick out anything from the gift shop not wanting to be a burden. (El told Jim which one Billy liked the most having read his mind). His name is Aegir because Billy knows the name of every sea or ocean themed god. And he thought the shark looked like an Aegir.

So my best friend and the loml @star-x-shine has a headcanon that Joyce was a teen mom when she had Jonathan and

And I have this HC that Joyce and hop we’re genuinely the best of friends in highschool. Like attached at the hip stobin style best friends.

So if you combine these you get a bonkers story.

Joyce, who at 16, pregnant, tells her best friend before she tells her jerk of a boyfriend.

And hop, at 17, easily, instantly offering to say he’s the dad bc even in 1967 he fucking hates Lonnie. The guys a real ass even then.

He says “just say the words, just ask and I’ll go along with it. I’m here, ride or die. Just ask and I’ll say yes, joyce”.

She she can’t. Of corse she can’t do that to jim. He’s too pure and good for this world.

But she begs him not to tell Lonnie, she’s too scared for anyone else to know yet. And of corse he agrees.

But it makes him hate Lonnie all the much more now.

And so a few weeks later everything comes to a head when Lonnie finds out, and finds out jim knows- knew before him. And he makes some kinda comment, something bitchy and demeaning to Joyce and Jim just tears into him. Beats the fuck out of him. Nope.

Unfortunately joyce, young and naive and living in 1967, not realizing she can pick her friends over her boyfriend.

And so that’s the end of her and Jim. And that’s Jonathan.

And Jonathan, who 17 years later, has a hard time warming up to Jim.

Because he’s never had a dad around that was worth much. Sure bob was a nice guy but this is different. Everything about his mom and jim and el is different. Accepting El as his sister? Easy. Accepting jim as his… his what? He’s not sure. That’s tough.

Jim is patient. He’s careful. He knows jon doesn’t need a dad, knows he’s done just fine without one.

But he’s loved that boy like his own since long before his mom even gave him a name.

He’s careful and not pushy and eventually Jonathan warms up to him.

Jim calls him “baby J” and Jonathan doesn’t hate it because it’s not mean, it’s a genuine loving title that comes from the story of “mom, why did you and Jim ever stop being friends anyway?”.

And finding out hop once knocked his dad out? Hop taught his mom the trade mark Byers sucker punch™ that she taught him, and he taught el? Yeah. That made him warm up.

“Loved you like my own since we just called you baby J, kid. (Baby-Joyce). Don’t gotta see me as your dad, not gonna try to be your dad, you’re 17 years old. But he’ll are you gonna stop me from loving you like El and will. Like it or not you’re mine now, always have been”.

And when hopper starts taking extra shifts (the night shift a few times a month) Joyce is confused. Bc they’re financially fine. They don’t need it. She thinks maybe he’s having truck problems he’s embarrassed to tell her about, or he’s trying to make el a college fund. She knows if it was serious he’d explain it.

But she doesn’t know the reason.

He’s taking extra shifts to make a savings for Jonathan. So when he goes off to college he can give him a big envelope of cash, say “listen boy, you know anything you ever need you can just call your mom and I, and we’ll figure it out. But you deserve a little privacy. And you’re gonna need some stuff when you get to New York. So this is for you. I trust you to be smart, you’re a responsible young man, always have been. But there’s more where this came from if you need it, okay?”.

Just thinking abt all of that. Yeah.

The town's heating systems are slowly failing, causing the temperature to drop. Although the townsfolk notice the chill, they remain unaware of the looming danger. Light sources start flickering sporadically, an issue that will only worsen with time.

Jim Hopper vore hc

Jim would most definitely eat small time criminals and keep them in his stomach until he gets to the station. He usually does this so they won’t escape and other times to be a prick. Also in season four he would make deals with the other prisoners where he gets to keep them in his stomach for the night and the get to stay warm.
