Favorite character: it’s Marvin!! he’s a messy jerk when you first meet him but he learns and grows and is so much better by the end.

Least Favorite character: the therapy patient lol, Diane/Caroline

5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): there are only 3 valid ships, Marvin/Whizzer, Mendel/Trina, and Charlotte/Cordelia, and they are all canon! any other combinations are not acceptable (like apparently some people ship Marvin and one/both of the lesbians?? no!)

Character I find most attractive: Whizzer

Character I would marry: Mendel

Character I would be best friends with: Mendel and Cordelia

a random thought: there is so much nuanced jewish culture in this show, it makes me love it that much more

An unpopular opinion: memes making fun of Mendel (i.e. Mendel eating dirt) make me feel icky bc he’s the most overtly jewish character (and is played by a jewish actor in both the original cast and the revival), especially because there are way more memes like that about him than any other character

My Canon OTP: the three that I listed above!!

My Non-canon OTP: n/a

Most Badass Character: definitely Trina, who goes through so much and still comes out with her head held high

Most Epic Villain: n/a

Pairing I am not a fan of: anything that isn’t the three canon couples

Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): n/a

Favourite Friendship: I love Marvin’s friendship with the lesbians, and I think Mendel and Whizzer could have had a nice friendship given more time

Character I most identify with: probably Mendel (other than the wildly unethical relationship with his patient! yikes!)

Character I wish I could be: none of them really, but if anybody maybe Charlotte bc she is very cool and has a beautiful wife and is a rich doctor

When I started shipping them: “this is a rescue”

My thoughts: invented love!! and got so screwed by the writers. like we really could have gotten this amazing inter-racial gay space couple but instead we got nothing. the scraps we got are because John and Oscar made conscious choices to put in little pieces of romance. also Poe asking Finn to be his co-general was a proposal, that’s just a fact. Finn wore Shara Bey’s ring under his shirt during the last battle, and you can’t change my mind.

What makes me happy about them: the way they fell in love right away, and the way they hugged like THAT after knowing each other for like 45 minutes.

What makes me sad about them: that they’re not canon and it’s so obnoxious that they’re not, because they really could have impacted so many people but disney/lf was like, nah let’s keep introducing female potential love interests so the audience KNOWS that they’re 100% straight

Things done in fanfic that annoys me: so much of the fic can be wildly racist, it’s horrific. the way they hyper-sexualize both of them, or focus on Poe’s trauma as though Finn wasn’t taken from his family as a child, enslaved by the first order, and raised as a child soldier. or when they do acknowledge Finn’s past, it’s to make Finn a simple child with no life experience at all who has to rely on Poe to learn every single thing about life outside the first order. I’ve read fics about them that I love with all my heart, and ones that I’ve gone back to reread, but some of it?? YIKES

Things I look for in fanfic: stories where they’re equals who support each other, and also ones that aren’t just. so racist.

My wishlist: to go back in time and rewrite the movies lol? or that this apparent NEW sequel trilogy will be the finnpoe saga, focusing on jedi Finn.

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: n/a lol

My happily ever after for them: a house on Yavin 4 near Kes, a handful of former storm trooper kiddos that they adopt, a big yard for all their kids and animals and BB-8 to play in

Things that took me too long to realize

The owners of Lady from Lady and the Tramp aren’t actually named “Jim Dear” and “Darling”, that’s just what Lady hears them call each other all the time.

Update:

I need a way to get all of these photos from the cruise up.  What better way than to update y’all on whats new here?  I have so many more so watch out for random swim suit photos in the dead of winter. ;)

This week we clabbered some raw goat milk.  It was going bad, so we got it for free.  Turns out...its actually the probiotics in the milk eating the lactose (sugar).  Leave the milk out...let those probies do their thing.  Strain and make whey (which we use for her formula) & cream cheese (which we use when we make an extremely delicious but unhealthy dip on those weekend nights where we are just DONE).

The beginning of our week was cold & now it is in the 60s and raining.  Our yard is a lake.  But the highlight of our week was seeing 40+ wild turkeys walk down our street.  We opened the door and all three of us (Miley included) sat there & quietly watched.  Well...we did wave to the turkeys.  I really wanted to get a photo of this for y’all but I also really wanted to just enjoy the moment.  

Here are some things that Arliss is up to the past month:

-Can point to her nose, toes, head, belly, feet, toes are

-Can point to daddy & Miley Rae (not me though)

-Helps clean up liquid spills...ahem

-Goes up and down the stairs alone with “indirect” supervision

-Helps close drawers, the freezer, fridge drawer and fridge doors

-Can climb onto her big stool to eat (the tree stumps)

-Hands her toys to other babies when they come to play (super cute)

-Like puddles

-Grabs dried mealworms out of the bag and lets the chickens eat them out of her tiny hand

-We now pull her highchair (b/c it has a moveable step) up to the island & she will eat or play while I am cooking

-Brings me her shoes, coat & hat when she ((apparently)) wants to go outside

-Sits down to put on/take off shoes & places them in shoe basket

-Starting to use spoon & fork 

-Drinks water from my bottle that has a straw

-Loves to be outside

-Age 12-13m went in the potty once a day....Age 13-14m not interested

-Puts the phone up to her ear & is like: Hello (but she doesn’t say it)

-Will ((usually)) go get something if you ask her to

because you're the only one who would understand my pain, i watched bits of the live action dalmatians movie the other day and god they did roger so dirty... the poor casting , the fact that he makes video games instead of writing romantic music, makes me SICK 😔

oh my GOD it’s such a waste!!! literally just last night watched Aristocats with my sister, and we were talking about other animal animated movies from that time period, and specifically how Roger is the hottest not-prince disney man.  and then he got destroyed in the live action!! how could that movie give us Glenn Close as Cruella (which terrified me as a kid!!) and then do THAT to Roger. it is literally unforgivable. no more disney remakes, but remake that one and cast someone better (Dev Patel Roger WHEN) so we can pretend the last remake never happened. keep Glenn Close though, she could definitely still do it.
