why does smornty like me more?

I used to think that my relationships were defined by my love languages. I liked quality time, so I tended to gravitate towards people who put away their phones when we're together. Or like to do things with me. I didn't like gifts, so I didn't think too hard about giving them and I didn't expect much either. Haha maybe now I know why this is true (see previous AMA).

But I realized recently that when you love people whose love languages are completely different from yours, it means so much more to them when you show them that you love them through their language. So you can love them an infinity amount, but how much are they receiving?

So in the case of smornty, he loves treats. He likes cooked meat, dried meat, raw meat (XD), whip cream, yogurt, anchovies, peanut butter, apples, and milk. He loves to go on a walk regularly. He likes to be looked at, presence acknowledged, when he walks in your room. He likes car rides. He likes scritch scratches in specific places. So... I think consistency, and of course a healthy dose of trust (that you are capable of taking care of him and keeping the situation under control), could make smornty like you more.

I introduced L&L to my best friend bc I started talking about hypothetically wanting Jindo dog because of this game

and then my next message dropped straight into me talking about the tumblr being downright crazy because “people are horny abt the RO who has a breeding kink”

didn’t even introduce him by name and they’re obsessed w him right now

That went from 🍰 to 🔥 so quickly. I think that combined with his Himbo energy is just some of his winning factors.

He's definitely winning top spot in popularity, but G is creeping closer to taking that crown.

i referenced the dog more than the character so uh. it looks a little too buff but it's ok lmao (i'm working on a proper reference/redesign so i'll post that sometime)

Day 12 - Korean Jindo

I forgot to watch the time, but I'm guessing it's around the same ballpark as the others. Really loved the goofy grin with this one! 😁😁

The colors look a bit weird, I think. May adjust later...

As promised, here are some pictures from Dacheong's birthday.

First we went for a morning walk to a park. They enjoyed peeing on new trees and bushes. 😂 Luckily we didn't meet any wild animals they might want to hunt but we did meet very few other dog walkers. It was a freezing morning, now it's snowing as I'm typing this. We could see a water dan from the top of a hill and it was mostly frozen.

After this little hike, Dachi and Easy took nap while their meaty mini cakes were in the oven.

Once they cooled down, we made a mini-party for Dachi, he was a good boy and wore a party hat. Easy wasn't up for it, she's nobody's jester. 😂

They got some new toys, few treats and then it was time for the mini cakes. We managed to take pics but as soon as we presented the cakes to Easy and Dachi, those were gone in seconds. 😁

Dachi also got plenty of birthday smooches. 😘

So! This is what's up here. I took a day off at work to celebrate my dog's birthday. 😂 And my coworkers were supportive and gave their best wishes because Dacheong is loved even remotely. 😁
