"hmm.. okay" mumbled jeongin while passing by the two of your to hand a customer their order. the both of you decided it would be best to eat on your way to the park in order to maximize your time there

the start of the car ride was pretty quiet, many thoughts were intruding your mind 'why did felix not tell them about the date? there's probably a reason for it...right? i'm just overthinking it, it was probably just to-' "hey you okay?" asked felix, moving his hand to rest it on yours "yeah, of course" you said with a small smile to make his worry go away. "okay...but if anything is wrong let me know. i really wanna make this work" he said gesturing to the both of you. your cheeks quickly flushed pink, felix always knew what to say to make someone feel better

you dismissed the previous thoughts that were in your head, and chatted to felix about your new hobby. every word you said made his smile grow larger and larger, he could listen to your voice all day

finally the both of you had arrived at the amusement park, getting out of the car the two of you walked towards the entrance. felix put his hand out towards you, "hold my hand so you don't get lost, okay?" you chuckled and took his hand "you sure that wasn't an excuse to hold my hand" "maybe it was" he answered with a small smirk

after getting your tickets and entering the park, you were immediately welcomed with hundreds of people walking around. "..ah, i must've forgotten how busy it is on the weekend" felix said apologetically "it's fine, we can still have a good time! let's go check out the rides" you both headed toward the different attractions and decided to start with slower rides and work your way up to the scarier ones. "we gotta to to the carousel first" he said pulling your hand in the direction of it. there were many children lined up, so the two of you definitely stood out. some of the parents liked at you a bit strangely, but you just shrugged it off. "c'mon, let's go on those horses!" felix said pulling you. it made you smile knowing how excited he was to go on this date with you. "I haven't gone on one of these since elementary school" you said laughing "this is one of the best rides here! i can't believe you" the ride was filled with laughs and random bicker between the two of you. after it was over you both headed to some other rides. the both of you had gone on the teacups, the ship, etc (i don't know that many rides TT) but after a while you two had reached the area where there were 'skill games', of course all of them were rigged in some way, but you two decided to waste your money anyway. you had never seen felix so determined in your whole life, hell you didn't know if you had seen anyone that determined. you had just pointed out how you had found one of the plushies adorable and felix raced to the stand, quickly handing the money to the person at the stand, and using all his might to knock over all the blocks on the stand. "felix this is your third time" you said laughing at his behavior "just watch i'll get it for you this time!" "keep telling yourself that lix"

surprisingly he was able to get a prize in the end, you tried to take it from him but he pulled it away. "if you want it you're gonna have to give me a kiss" he smiled, pointing at his cheek. you moved you face towards him and started to place your lips on his cheek, but last minute he turned his head and your lips were on felix's. you stumbled back surprised from the contact, felix just giggling in response. you took the stuffed animal out of his hand and used it so cover your red face.

felix took your hand and walked you around the park before finally finding a bench to sit down on. the sun was starting to set and it made you realize how much time you had spent with him "i really enjoyed today" you mumbled "i did too" he responded laying his head on yours and putting his arm around your waist. "hey i was just joking! i clearly like you, i wouldn't have brought you here otherwise" "you're such a sweetheart lixie" the two of you sat together for a bit just enjoying each other's company. as the sun set you and felix decided to go on one last thing before leaving, the ferris wheel. hand in hand the two of you approached the line and it was a bit long, though time passed by quickly as you and felix talked about classes, friends, and really anything that crossed your minds. eventually the two of you had gotten to the front of the line and walked through the tiny gate, felix quickly got on and offered a hand to you so you could get on safely. as the door to the pod closed you could feel yourself starting to move up. looking at the view and then turning to see felix, the man that you clicked with immediately, the one who was always so caring, the one who never failed to make you feel better, that was who was with you. you couldn't have been any happier.
