okay so i have a confession to make

i haven’t finished s13 of jet lag yet. life stuff came up and all that but i am watching it now and OH MY GOD I LOVE THIS SEASON!!! currently just finished episode four. my fav part so far is every part but tom is so good on jet lag i love it!!! planning on finishing the season tomorrow :)) i love this goddamn show so much. also ben’s pants are giving mlm gay flag and i love it, my mom thinks its intentional. she also thinks that sam shouldve spent less time doing his hair during the royal degree challenge this episode (she is rooting for sam and tom to win)

i also think it would have been really funny for every time sam and tom claimed a country for them to instead of texting they should have recorded a video of tom saying “i am in (country)” because he has famously been everywhere.

just saw the first episode of schengen showdown (spoilers ahead) and im loving the energy that tom scott is bringing to jetlag! is he gonna be the best guest jetlag has had so far? personally, i think it's hard to beat toby.

I touched my dip pen and ink again! Honestly my favorite medium ever, I feel so cool when I use it. I knew I had to use it draw this screencap from the Schengen finale! Was watching it and as soon as I saw this shot I paused it and took a picture. Immediately obsessed with the sun framing Ben's head (referenced depictions of Christ in historical art cause come on! It's perfect!!) and the way Adam is fondly looking at him (a bit less than how I drew it, but I don't do a sketch when I use ink, so it happens sometimes). I will 100% draw this again because I'm just in love with it.

Anyway also little s13.5 doodle I did to warm up!

Watching jet lag series 13 wearing my jet lag cap.

Anyway! I love how close it is! Even with the scores being different I can't tell who's actually in the lead. I also don't know who to root for yet.

Adam and Ben's big brain first move & Adam gently saying "there you go" as ben plunges his whole face into their plate.

I love Tom's enthusiasm but Sam hopping to it when it was demanded why the waffle hadn't been against the wall the whole time was so funny. That whole challenge actually I was screaming and howling at the TV. Amy that was the most gripping challenge I've seen in all of jet lag, very well done!! 👏👏👏

3. fav guest host - absolutely toby, i love her so bad. the energy she brought to the whole season was incredible and also her strategy was just <3 i am very excited for tom scott tho so maybeee he will overtake her

13. i haven’t had any ‘i’m about to miss my train and need to run through this busy station’ moments because i do not go anywhere butttt i was in london a few days ago and i went to victoria station where s13 started!!! so that was a very fun moment for me

I am not part of the tom scott thirst in any way, but this blog is the funniest thing to me because

unsolicited silly tom scott pictures 🤭

i know a lot of random facts from his videos and watching other people enjoy them, even if it's not always for education is great 🫣

it makes watching jet lag the game 10x funnier with this perspective of silly things tom does

so thanks for that, this makes my day every time i see it so keep doing what you're doing. thirsting or learning or both. whatever.

hell yeah !!!!!! unsolicited silly tom scott pictures are definitely amongst the best kind of unsolicited pictures one could receive.

oh we also enjoy the funfacts. at least i know i am. the impressively thought out videos and cool infrastructure is how he lures you in. after that its just a matter of if you will get obsessed with his work enough to start seeing him in your dreams and then its just all downhill from there. at least thats how it was for me.

and yes hard agree !!!!!! thats why im spreading the word here. next time he puts his thumb in his mouth i want everyone who has seen my posts about it to notice and go 🫵 i want you to be slightly haunted by the knowldege of what that man was getting up to during his uni years at all times. thats the only way to fully appreciate him in all his multifaceted beauty.
