Future Romance
I’m an avid fan of Dr Joe Dispenza’s work and when I hear him talking, I feel fully aligned. I plan to go on one of his retreats or workshops in the future and I just know it will be a life changing experience. This morning I was listening to one of his interviews where he was talking about romancing with your future – I LOVE THAT! His words hit deep and I was immediately transported to my…

Social Media Page Analysis
Due to the custom nature of Spacehey, I was able to make Vice's social media page highly tailored to their personal tastes and values. I wanted their page to reflect Vice's juvenile yet fun presentation
Spacehey allows for users to upload UI designs allowing for others to copy the source code for the UI to be used on other people's blogs. Though I experimented with other UI layouts that were characteristic of the 2000s such as WindowsXP and the iconic Myspace scenecore layout, I ultimately chose the 4chan UI design.
Tumblr media
The choice to make my social media page 4chan was considered use of irony as to be intentionally provocative and agitative. With 4chan being highly associated with groups such as the alt right and white supremacists, it is possible the consequences of this joke would be the notion that Vice promotes the radical ideas 4chan is so controversial for. However, Vice's target audience of young to middle aged punks would understand the presented meta narrative, with the band's UI mocking 4chan and it's users as opposed to subliminally supporting it's ideas.
Tumblr media
Whilst searching for interesting things to decorate my page with, I stumbled across a code to make your profile appear as a jewel CD case with a rotating CD. I found this to be a subtle way to communicate this webpage being for Vice as a band, as well as nicely present their upcoming album.
Throughout my blog, I wanted to make the sardonic personality of the brand shine, which was done through making the most of the available text boxes. Here, I wanted to demonstrate the band being genuine yet silly through sarcastic and post-ironic language.
Tumblr media
Post irony is most clearly outlined in the the 'general' section, with the band claiming they are 'Making good memories and having fun :D'. This authenticity is masked with irony, but is, however, made apparent through the music video, in which we see Vice having fun in earnest during their production. The sarcasm is also present in the band claiming their book of choice to be 'Breaking The Habit of Being Yourself: How to Lose Your Mind and Create a New One', as it's author, the controversial physicist Joe Dispenza is known for his cult-like meditation retreats. Finally, the choice of hero being Vladimir Lenin-McCartney of a similarly punk alternative-rock band 'TISM' presents Vice as inspired by bands with a similar outlook, as well as service questionable reactions due to TISM's obscurity.
Tumblr media
I also got friends to engage with the social media account to demonstrate the kind of target audience Vice caters to, that being like minded punks. However, I wanted their engagement to outline the absurd, offbeat eccentricity Vice's fans also exhibit, pushing the likeness of the band and their followers.

Joe Dispenza Pineal Gland Meditation
Yesterday something crazy happened..
Even though I believe in so many things in theory, when the real life shit happens it is something different.
A dear friend of mine visited a Joe Dispenza Retreat where he learned how to do his famous pineal gland meditation. It’s a method where you activate your pineal gland (your most spiritual body part) through heavy breathing and muscle squeezing in a few minutes. The moment you activate the pineal gland you suddenly faint for a few seconds then come back and then have spiritual experiences like meeting light beings or traveling through the universes. But this is just one of the many beneficial effects of this meditation.
However I’ve never tried and I’ve never seen someone doing this. I thought it was just a regular meditation where you sit in silence and then faint for a few seconds. But it was nothing like that. My friend (and thank you so much for his trust) performed the meditation technique in front of me and my mom yesterday.
So he put on Joe Dispenza’s voice on his phone who guided the meditation. But instead of calming music and a soft voice, Joe was almost shouting and the music got faster and faster as if he was a gym coach and was trying to motivate everyone. So my friend sat up straight and started to do the heavy breathing. After a few seconds he started shaking. His entire body was shaking and his eyes opened but they looked like there was no life inside of them anymore. I think in this moment he left his body. The shaking got stronger and stronger and suddenly he opened up his mouth and his face got all strained and distorted. I really have to say I was terrified. He was making a sound like he couldn’t breathe and then he fainted and his body just fell onto the couch he was sitting on while his body was still shaking and his eyes where still open. I have to say it appeared like he was literally dying in front of me. I was scared to death even though I knew about the meditation and what was going on. Then he suddenly ‘came back to life‘ and acted like nothing happened.
At first I didn’t know what to say I think it was too much for me. In this Meditation you work with your kundalini to activate your pineal gland. But I‘ve learned from Daskalos (my main spiritual teacher) about how you shouldn’t work with your kundalini energy because it can be very dangerous. Some people who worked with it in the wrong way became crazy and never recovered from it. But then my friend told me that Joe Dispenza put a protection spell on everyone who would pursue his work.
I think if I really want to work in the spiritual field I have to get used to stuff like this. I don‘t want to be terrified by dematerializing bodies, angels, aliens or other things so I have to get used to harmless stuff like activating your pineal gland lol. I don’t think I will start to practice the technique soon because I do feel a bit traumatized by yesterday but I definitely consider trying it one day.
When I asked spirit they told me Joe is a good man and all he does is revealing the truth. I also really love all of his other teachings and would really recommend his studies about how your thoughts effect your body and entire life. You can find his speeches on YouTube and Gaia.
Let new realities and experiences in.

For three years, Dan Howell didn’t post anything on YouTube, and for his 6 million subscribers, this was a very big deal. As one half of the longtime vlogger duo Dan and Phil, he was known for writing and performing sketch comedy, internet culture commentary, and occasionally more serious vlogs about mental illness. A typical Dan and Phil endeavor, be it a book or a world tour or a series, might be called something like “The Super Amazing Project” or “Interactive Introverts,” nodding to early memes associated with “smol bean” culture. Naturally, they became superstars, particularly among teenage girls.
But after posting a coming out video in 2019 called “Basically I’m Gay,” Howell went completely silent on the platform. That was until last week, when he returned with a feature film-length monologue on why he quit YouTube in the first place.
For years, digital creators have been trying to convey the ennui of this supposed dream job: they’re lonely, they’re burnt out, they’re built up then tossed aside by unfeeling algorithms and corporate bureaucracy. They feel stuck between the kinds of content that makes them money and the content they actually want to produce.
Howell enumerated these reasons and more, all of which are good reasons to quit a job you hate. Another, less discussed one, however, is something I’ve come to call “YouTube brain.” Compare it to “Twitter brain,” in which spending too much time on Twitter results in someone becoming argumentative and perpetually outraged, or “Instagram brain,” (image-obsessed and overly materialistic), or “TikTok brain,” (unquestioningly devoted to the latest slang or trend before moving on to the next one). YouTube brain, from the perspective of the YouTuber as opposed to the viewer, is what happens when you are both creatively and financially subject to the whims of other people’s attention spans for years at a time, weighed down by neverending demand for more content for dwindling returns.
Chronic YouTube brain can land you in some bizarre circumstances. Take Michelle Phan, the longtime beauty YouTuber who last week claimed that she had “healed a man who had been in a wheelchair for years” through the power of “Divine Love.” This supposedly took place at a retreat in San Diego hosted by influencer Joe Dispenza, who’s best known for falsely presenting himself as a medical doctor while peddling vague “healing” workshops. It’s only the latest in a long history of Phan amplifying pseudoscience: In 2010 she claimed that a “sign from God” saved her from being murdered by a homeless man; she’s previously hired employees based on their astrological sign. While not exactly “pseudoscience,” she’s famously done things like use (clean) cat litter as a facial mask, which I would argue is the perfect manifestation of YouTube brain: unconventional thinking amped up by shock value.
The YouTube celebrity pipeline typically looks something like this: A creator might start out within a particular niche (gaming, makeup, daily vlogging, sketch comedy), and through their onscreen charisma, develops a following made up of fans who come less for, say, the games, and more to feel as though they’re hanging out with a friend. At this point, at least one of three things will happen: Either the creator will achieve such a level of success that they’ll no longer feel “relatable” to audiences and must reckon with their persona (see: Emma Chamberlain), the creator will be subject to some level of cancellation for past actions (see: basically all of them), or the job will create such a pressure-cooker environment that the creator quits altogether — but only for a while.
Consider Shane Dawson, the controversial vlogger known for his popular conspiracy theory videos and “documentaries” about fellow YouTubers, who was quasi-canceled along with many others in June 2020 for past racist slurs and offensive jokes. After a 15-month hiatus, he returned in October 2021 with a 40-minute video called “The Haunting of Shane Dawson” and has since followed it up with other personal updates and ghost story theories. 2020 alone saw so many creator reckonings that Vulture compiled a list of 16 of the most notable; it’s become such a standard rinse-and-repeat cycle that the YouTuber apology was skewered by SNL.
There are anomalies, of course. Having grown an enormous cult following from her comedic Vines (“Merry Chrysler!” is her doing) and later her YouTube channel, Christine Sydelko left the internet in 2019 and hasn’t looked back since. “I just don’t like being famous,” she told NBC News earlier this year. “You’re lying to people to try to make them seem like you’re their friend for the sole purpose of selling things to them.” Another anomaly is Jenna Marbles, who apologized for old videos in which she wore blackface to impersonate Nicki Minaj and rapped in an offensive parody of an Asian accent in June 2020. Her account, which had 20 million subscribers, has been dormant since then.
For the most part, though, once a YouTuber reaches a certain level of success, they’re a YouTuber for life. I’m less convinced this has anything to do with the platform itself and more about the kind of person it attracts and who ends up succeeding. In my years of interviewing them, I’m always struck by the way YouTubers — and creators writ large — make sense of the world, which tends to be fervently individualistic and, at times, a little bitter. This is an understandable attitude to have when your livelihood is dependent on the creator economy, in which individuals compete against one another for the most attention possible.
Vloggers tend to be keenly, almost freakishly attuned to the in-depth analytics YouTube provides for them. “It is brilliant and terrifying how much information YouTube gives you about your content and your audience,” explains Howell. “If you’re making a video from the heart, truly expressing yourself … you are greeted with a wall of red lines saying ‘Sorry, nobody likes this, sweetie.’” He makes an apt comparison to children’s programming: Public television, for instance, can put out shows like Arthur or Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood not because they’re cash cows, but because they provide a service to the public. Meanwhile, the most popular kids’ programming on YouTube seems to be a mess of LOL Surprise or Kinder egg unboxings and glitter slime ASMR videos.
Most of all, I’ve found that YouTubers tend to view other people and situations in black and white, divided between what’s good for themselves as individual creators and outside forces that wish them harm. They are often distrustful of institutions and organizations, particularly the media, whom they feel antagonize creators because newsrooms are scared they’ll be replaced by them (though PewDiePie is known most for this belief, Howell’s latest video also includes references to it). In this, they are not dissimilar to the attitudes of the wider public, who are increasingly skeptical of established institutions but quick to believe that Satanic forces are present at music festivals, for instance, and that despite evidence to the contrary, they will be among the 1 percent who makes money from joining an MLM or, say, an NFT project.
Fittingly, Phan has become something of a crypto evangelist over the past few years, shilling for an industry best known for its sky-high promises and unpredictable outcomes. After all, this isn’t so different from YouTube, where the chance to become a famous millionaire is vanishingly small but exists nonetheless. It’s such an alluring fantasy that even the YouTubers who have experienced (and been a part of) the ugliest aspects of it — Jeffree Star, James Charles, Shane Dawson, Tana Mongeau, Trisha Paytas, Gabbie Hanna — can’t truly log off. The same is true for Howell: At the end of his 90-minute monologue, in which he describes his experiences with YouTube as traumatic and terrifying, he announced he would continue to make videos, and that he would be going on a world tour called “We’re All Doomed!”

Confession #14
Supernatural Tour: Part One
One of my teachers once said, everything you do in life, whether it be parenting, running a business, or just running your day, it all comes down to love and logistics. Our Supernatural Retreat was no different. It all came down to love and logistics.
Which brings me to part one. I’m going to start with logistics. While going into the tour, I knew the dates we would leave, the dates we needed to be at the finish line, and a few of the definite stops along the way and the people that may be at those stops, the rest was left to the unknown.
In fact, there were many unknowns jumping into this thing. I really couldn’t even tell you why I was doing it in the first place. Except for that I wanted to show my kids. I wanted them to see extraordinary people living extraordinary lives. People who may not live a “conventional” life, but that living that life is exactly what has brought them true freedom and joy. I knew I wanted to share stories of people’s healings with the world. But beyond that, it was just something that came to me in a meditation one day that I just couldn’t seem to shake. It was something my soul was calling me to do for some reason unknown to me. But I have learned enough now to know that when the soul calls, the body must follow.
So we officially started the tour off in Austin, Texas, staying with a woman we had never met for the weekend. We flew from the Philadelphia airport to Austin on October 19th. I had planned on us staying in an Airbnb near the airport that night as I knew it would be a little late coming in and if this woman had 50 cats, at least we would only have to endure it for one night!
Well she used her southern charm on us and apparently that is a very real thing. We decided to skip the Airbnb and take a lyft directly to her house in Kyle, TX. Well there weren’t 50 cats and in fact, despite our fears trying to work themselves in, her house was a little piece of heaven….as was she.
Saturday, we had a gathering of about 22 people. People came from hours away to join in on being a part of the tour. Originally, I had reached out to friends I have met through the work of Dr.Joe Dispenza. There is a big Facebook community online that people go to from all over the world that are practicing Joe’s meditations and teachings. That was a majority of who I was reaching out to, to try and connect with on our tour and get interviews from. I relied heavily on locals for reaching out to people in their area that would be interested in joining us for a day to meditate, interview, and just join in on the love and laughter.
Austin did not disappoint. There was only one person there (my friend that put the whole gathering together!) that we actually knew and the rest we had either met briefly online or hadn’t met at all. We meditated together, ate tons of amazing food, did some coherence healing meditations, and plenty of interviews. By the end of the day, as it always goes, we felt like one big happy family.
The next day we flew into Las Vegas to pick up our RV on Monday morning. Our little home that would be ours for the following 10 days. It was completely self-sufficient with a comfy bed, bathroom, shower, and fully operable kitchen. We were able to meet up with a very good friend of ours before heading off into the sunset.
From Las Vegas we drove to Sedona, AZ. We really only had one intention in mind for going to Sedona. We had both been there before, so it wasn’t the scenery. It was one particular person. A person we met one year before almost to the date! More on that in part two.
We stayed 2 days in Sedona, rode around some trails on a rented side by side, watched beautiful sunsets, and of course visited the famous church on the rocks.
From Sedona we moved on to Phoenix, Arizona where we met up with some amazing people. We gathered for a walking meditation on the morning of October 25th, followed by breakfast. We had some great convos throughout the day and gathered for a feast that night.
We hit the road early the next morning for San Diego, driving pretty much all day. It was a gorgeous drive and we were greeted by an amazing friend late that night. As it seemed to be the theme, we parked in her driveway that night and were so excited just to be able to plug in our RV….and have Wi-Fi!
San Diego turned out to be much quieter as I didn’t have much planned for our stop there. We were able to meet up with one Dr.Joe student who had made some tremendous changes in her life since we first met her in Sant Fe in February. She preferred to keep her story to just us for now, but stay tuned
Tumblr media
We also had the pleasure of meeting up with another friend we hadn’t seen in a year and her adorable doggies. It was definitely one of our most favorite stops. As soon as you walked into her house, you could feel such warm and happy energy. It took over your whole body and you didn’t want it to end. Even the smell of her house was amazing. Her private little outside oasis with the San Diego sun and warmth was heavenly. One hour there was nowhere near enough time!
We decided the smartest move would be to avoid Sunday morning traffic in LA and drive that night. We left San Diego after a great dinner with the friend we were staying with and headed straight for Ojai, California.
We arrived in Ojai in the wee hours of the night, sleeping with our heads pointed straight downhill. Little did we know our friend’s house who we were parking at that night was on a fairly steep incline. Well at least it felt steep after all the blood had rushed to my head by morning:-)
We spent 3 amazing hours at our very dear friends house. To say her house is beautiful is an understatement. It reminded me of a very old Spanish hacienda mission style, but something the deeply spiritual would build. As soon as we walked into her house, both our bodies were buzzing. Literally. The energy was beyond this world and every nook and cranny felt like it held a secret. In knowing her, I knew she would probably have a pretty awesome house, but it was 100 times that. I completed an interview with her, and, yet again, it was hard to say goodbye. But our longest haul of the trip was inching close.
After leaving Ojai we were in for the longest stretch of driving. Ojai to San Francisco, driving up the old Pacific Hwy (hwy 1) the whole time. If you have never drove up that highway, I would most definitely add it to your bucket list. The views were something I have never seen before. The colors of the sunsets were so vivid and breathtaking. Literally it took my breath away. You can’t not believe in something beyond us when seeing sights like that. It truly is a spiritual experience.
We made it to the Nepenthe restaurant right outside of Big Sur late that evening and decided the parking lot would suffice for parking the RV to sleep that night.
We were to meet a group in Sonoma at the Benziger Family Winery at 2 pm that afternoon so another early morning rise and long day drive for us. From Big Sur to San Francisco it was again, spectacular views.
I have never been to wine country before, but it was BEAUTIFUL. The particular winery we met our group at is a biodynamic winery, which if you don’t know what that is, I definitely recommend you look it up. Pretty cutting-edge stuff and so inspirational!
We had a group of about 15 people to do the wine tour with and a short meditation before the tour. I only completed one interview while at the winery, but it was amazing. As was the theme, there was only one person there I had previously met and was friends with and the rest met for the first time.
We had dinner after our wine tour in Sonoma and shared some amazing stories and laughter. It was the perfect group with the most perfect people!
We parked that night in the driveway of the lady and her husband’s house that put the gathering together. And I am so happy to say now that they are both soul friends. After dinner the great conversation extended to their house and then again in the morning before leaving. As the theme became very common, it was hard to leave that morning.
It was supposed to be a short jaunt over to Sacramento to stay the night there but as it goes, traffic, side of the road naps, and finding a gas station that takes American express (in other words, the unknown!) seemed to throw some wrenches in that plan.
We arrived at my very very dear friend’s house in Woodland Park around 5 pm on Tuesday, the 30th. This was especially exciting for me because I had been waiting to see her and her family for over a year. She cooked an enormous meal for us and some other friends that made it over for dinner. It was a meal for God’s! Not to mention the amazing conversation and the closeness we all felt. So much so that I was too enmeshed in the moment to do any actual interviews.
Once again it was a very early rise before sun up and on the road again. Our last long stretch of the trip. We drove through the Redwood forest in northern California only to be greeted by the Pacific Northwest rain upon entering Oregon. We made it to an actual RV park in Port Orford Oregon and were beyond excited to stay somewhere with FULL hookups. It definitely wasn’t anything to write home about, but hey, after living in an RV for over a week, and sleeping in parking lots and driveways, the little things counted.
We got up the next morning and hit the road. We had plans to meet some friends in Olympia for dinner and it would be our last long day of driving. And even though it was nearing winter and we were driving half the day on the Oregon coast and the other half through central Oregon and then into Washington, it was beautiful sunshine and towering pine trees. While it’s no California coast, it is beautiful in its own Pacific Northwest way.
We met our friends for dinner in Olympia and of course, another great meal, great conversation and tons of laughter.
After dinner, we had yet another night spent in a parking lot and our last before sunrise the next morning to hit the road. We had to have the RV to northern Seattle by 10 am that morning and then it would be on to our final stop of the tour. Our big ending to our big trip.
After dropping off the RV we headed straight to the Airbnb we would be spending the weekend at. See, I knew from the beginning of our trip, Seattle would be more than just the final destination. It would be something magical. We would be surrounded by not only our closest friends but some of the most amazing people I have ever met in my life. But more on that in part 2.
We stayed in an Airbnb in Seattle for 3 days with 12 other people. The weekend was beyond words and after 2 weeks of being surrounded by complete love and light and then ending it like that, Monday night was a complete culmination of all of it. We had 2 of our closest friends stay with us Monday night at a very strange Airbnb near Olympia, Wa. We had dinner once again with some other good friends that lived nearby in Yelm Washington. But it didn’t matter where we were…it just mattered we were together.
Which leads to part 2. Love…

Preparation for Egypt 22022022
Day 25 Fire Manifesting Key
Today we had to connect with our sacral chakra and speak the mantra: „I am the force of transformation of my node“ (Norfolk Island). Then we had to think of an event in our life where we were manifesting a dream we were working on for some time. We had to ask ourselves: „What was the force behind it?“
I remember that all of the things I manifested where manifested from the heart. Sometimes I didn’t even have to work on it I just had to say a sentence out loud and when it really came from my heart not my ego it manifested in weeks, sometimes in days. My latest manifestation happened when I came across Matías. One day before, I met a friend of mine who was at a Joe Dispenza retreat. (I posted about it in detail a month ago). I told him that I really need to find a master who I can follow.
I‘ve met many teachers before but they weren’t resonating fully and they didn’t have a deep understanding of the universe. I‘ve been following the teachings of Daskalos (a master from cyprus) my entire life but I‘ve never seen anyone like him again. Daskalos left his material body in 1995 and since then there wasn’t anyone (in my opinion) who even came close to his knowledge. I told my friend: „I want to follow a master like him who is still alive on this earth.“ I meant it with my body, heart and soul.
The day after, I found Matías. It was like a miracle. I found out about the activation in Egypt and signed up immediately. (I found him one month before the event!) When I listened to what Matías was saying I was blown away. It was identical to what Daskalos was teaching and it was even more profound for me because it was easier to understand. I immediately felt this deep connection and understanding towards his energy.
That I manifested and the reason why it happened so fast was the energy of my heart.

It’s hard to find words to describe the experience my husband & I had last week at @drjoedispenza’s advanced weeklong retreat. 💫 Incredible. Beautiful. Life changing. 💫 We learned so much about how ourselves and how to take our lives to the next level... and beyond. 💫 We learned how to experience the mystical and create the life we desire. 💫 We learned and experienced first hand that love truly heals. 💫 We learned that, yes, 4 hour meditations are easier than we thought once we learned how to train our bodies. And why stop at one? (We did 3!) 💫 We met so many beautiful souls (including Dr. Joe himself hanging out by our room...as brief as it was😉), and we felt how incredibly strong an energy love actually is (it’s way stronger than you’d think). 💫 The bonus of it all is that I have a real understanding of why RTT works so well. #powerful 💫 I’m truly grateful to attend and absolutely can’t wait to do it again! #thatsenergy #drjoe #drjoedispenza 📷: Dr. Joe Dispenza Official News & Fan Page (FB) dtd 9-16-17 (I was so present that I forgot to take some pictures to share!) F**k tall poppy syndrome! Just nail $ex Magic! ✨✨ . 5 months ago I went to Joe Dispenza’s retreat and we were asked to make a mind movie. A slide show of pictures that represented what we were calling into our lives in the next few months. Here’s what my mind movie consisted of: . - I’m a badass zen queen - Rich, Creative, Purposeful. 💁‍♀️ - I have a team around me supporting my vision. - I’m making $20,000 a month. - I launch a book and its big! (I hadn’t written a single word at this stage!) 📚 - So big I’m asked to tour America sharing my story. - I’m on the TED X stage - I’m making $ex research history 👩‍💼 - I’m featured in high end magazines - I crate 10 Self Pleasur3 graduates who share my work 🧙‍♀️ - I buy a jeep! . Here’s what’s happened since May... . - Okay, I’ve maybe always been a badass zen queen 😏 - I now have a team of 5 people supporting my vision - Last month I made about $50,000 (WTF 🤯) - I wrote a book and spoke about it on instagram, and a publisher from NYC reached out to tell me she’s a big fan of my work and wants to publish it. (AGAIN WTF?!🤯) - She said I’ll probably have to come to the US to tour with it. (Is my life even real?!🤯🤯) - I found a company thats going to get me on the TED X stage in the next 3 - 6 months 🙌 - I have employed a research team to prove how my modality of self pleasur3 can transform lives. 🥳 - I’m meeting with a PR lady in 2 weeks about getting me in high end magazines. - I currently have 18 women on my Self Pleasure course and more calls to take. ☎️ - I haven’t brought a jeep 😂! But at this rate I’ll probably win one! 😝 . This is what happens when you get crystal clear on the vision and stop pussy footing around wondering ‘Do I really need a jeep?’ . Yes, you need a freeking jeep! . Ask for what you really want. $ex Magic that shit with my self pleasure practices And so it is!
